This article discusses the relationship between Islam and multicultural theology. It employs qualitative research methodology with focusing on library research in getting documents relating to the issue. Islam and multicultural theology are two important disciplines that need to be reconsidered to capture the dimensions of similarities for both of them. Although multicultural theology is originally coined in the history of western countries like America and European countries and it is more likely concerned with Christian theology, it does not mean that Islam and multicultural theology have no relevant connection. The author comes to conclude that these issues are strongly related in the theoretical framework as well as in practical. Issues such as respect, recognition, and tolerance are crucially important for both of them. Islam itself makes those aspects the fundamental philosophy in social interaction, particularly, love and humanism are the key elements of Islam. The last mentioned are not seriously taken into account in multicultural theology which is a more formal or legal relationship.

In this paper, we explore, name, and unpack the possibilities that printmaking, as an art form, holds in visual narrative inquiry. We also explore the relationship between visual narrative inquiry and narrative inquiry, a relational qualitative research methodology that attends to experiences. Drawing on two different ongoing narrative inquiry studies, where we engage with either trans young adults or refugee families from Syria with pre-school children, we explore how printmaking practices facilitate processes of inquiry. The etymology of the word “frame” helps us understand framing as a process that is future oriented and reflects a sense of doing, making, or preforming. In this way, framing allows us to see otherwise, to respond to and with participants, and to engage with experiences in ways that open new possibilities of inquiry.

And there's also a lot of words. The relationship between sentence one with another sentence still does not use the correct word. And the emphasis on what matters is still not seen. The intonation conveyed by the khatib has not produced the appropriate variation, then the presentation is still monotonous and creates the jema'ah friday.

In the history of the Indian subcontinent, the claims that the science of administration of justice reached its apex during the period of the Great Mughals are critically investigated in this paper. Though the Mughals initiatives were oriented to public and social welfare, their absolute authority over the state cast shadows on the system they introduced, one of which was administration of justice. With the help of qualitative research methodology, this article examines whether the Mughal system of administration was meant to dispense with justice and uphold welfare of the people or it was just a replica of the police state where sovereignty was exercised in a dictatorial manner.

Poverty is one of the macroeconomic problems that is a major concern, especially during the current pandemic. This study aims to describe the solutions offered by Islamic philanthropy (ZISWAF) to the problem of poverty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methodology with content analysis techniques (content analysis) and library research. The results showed that ZISWAF is able to be a solution for the community to the problem of poverty that occurs. Efforts to alleviate poverty that can be done are to manage the funds that have been obtained from ZISWAF properly, with productive management. However, there must be some funds provided to the public that are consumptive in nature. If ZISWAF funds are managed properly and are productive, the hope is that these funds will not run out until whenever they are even able to develop so that their use will be bigger and wider. ZISWAF funds which are consumptive in nature will increase the demand and purchasing power of the community, so that the community will be more prosperous. Meanwhile, productive funds are able to increase investment activities and company productivity (business activities) so that it is able to increase the use of full labor (reduce unemployment) and ultimately improve community welfare so that poverty is reduced. This proves that Islamic philanthropy can be a solution to the problem of poverty.

This paper seeks to analyze both the Islamic texts dealing with jihad and the relationship between them and its practice. The desire to promote peace and harmony is based on general Islamic religious purposes, or Maqāṣid al-šarīʿa, of the two interpretations of the extremists and mainstream scholars. Bearing in mind that these texts are believed to be divinely-inspired, the interpretations are, however, human. The said texts have been the subject of two broad interpretational approaches: the orthodox interpretation that is widely accepted by the mainstream and supported by Islamic principles in general, and the interpretations of certain minorities that are rejected by the mainstream. This paper seeks to examine the qualitative research methodology and theological analysis used by contemporary extremists groups of what seems to be textual evidence of “violent jihad” in Islam. The significance of this study is to investigate the appropriate use of interpretations that could be acceptable to mainstream scholars and reflects the real nature of Islamic principles. Subsequently, it concludes that the violence that is manifested in extremist activities is the result of the misinterpretation of some Islamic texts regarding jihad, and that, in contrast, the best modern interpretation of jihad is ğihad al-nafs, which, alongside many other meanings that promote peace, has been declared the correct path by mainstream scholars in their response to the extremists.

Such is the case in the case of copyright infringement. Copyright infringement in Islam is strictly prohibited because of the element of deception, is another form of theft, kills the creativity and the spirit of thinking of the inventors of the work, and violates the goal of Islamic law which is to damage the mind.

The objective of this research is to investigate the language used by male and female Pakistani journalists by focusing on the use of interaction markers. This study aims to explore the meta-discourse features in the writings of the Pakistani English newspaper journalists. The data is collected from Dawn, The News, The Nation and The Express Tribune newspapers. The corpus for the research consisted of two hundred (200) columns written by forty Pakistani journalists including both males and females. Hyland’s (2005a) model of interactional meta-discourse was used as a theoretical framework. Mixed methodology will be used to analyze the data qualitatively and quantitatively to find out the gender-based differences in the use of interaction markers in the writings of Pakistani journalists. First, the data collected are quantified quantitatively then for the elaboration of gender-based differences in the use of interaction markers, qualitative research methodology is used. Moreover, Antconc, a corpus-based research tool, is employed to statistically analyze the corpus of the study. The study provides the analysis of interactional markers in the Pakistani journalistic discourse by employing Hyland’s (2005a) model of interaction. The results show that there exists a gender-based difference in the use of interaction markers. The female Pakistani columnists use interaction markers more frequently than the male counterparts. The research provides new insight to the national and international researchers about gender-based differences in media discourse within the Pakistani context.

In a fast-changing world, which depends on science and technology, it is very hard for disciplines to remain isolated and hide away from each other. When disciplines are isolated, students' outcomes and achievements are affected negatively. A graduate will be equipped with multi skills, when disciplines interact with each other instead of just one skill when a particular discipline exists in isolation. To address this problem of graduates, many universities offer “interdisciplinary studies”. This chapter discusses the “interdisciplinary studies” and their history. To discover the history of the “interdisciplinary studies”, the current study aims to explore the definition of the “interdisciplinary studies”, as well as their historical development. This study is a theoretical study designed to trace the history of “interdisciplinary studies”. The study adopted a qualitative research methodology, as the essential purpose of the qualitative methodology is to understand reality. The findings revealed that the literature is full of studies that define “interdisciplinary studies”, and all the studies that related to the “interdisciplinary studies” agreed that the “interdisciplinary studies” involve researchers from different institutes and disciplines to solve a problem that is hard to solve by a single discipline. With respect to historical development of “interdisciplinary studies”, the study found that, as a term, it appeared in the 20th century, but as a practice, it is imbedded in the work of old societies, where several millennia ago, the Mesopotamians, the Egyptians, and the Greeks put interdisciplinary into practice.
