The study acts as a pilot research to investigate the influence of organization’s internal dynamics on PMM assessment levels and to outline a methodology that can help us to quantify it. It aims to analyze the influence of organizations’ internal dynamics on project management maturity, (PMM), assessments and how they can change the assessment results. Specifically, it addresses the impact of internal organizational influences, like organization culture, leadership & leadership hierarchy, and emotional stability on the assessments of organization project management maturity. The methodological research approach for this study was a survey of 129 professionals. These professionals represent both manufacturing and service sectors industries that utilize project management extensively. Data were analyzed using multiple regression models with SPSS data processing results show that organization's internal factors significantly influence project management maturity assessments. The internal forces like organization culture and leadership/ leadership hierarchy significantly increase the PMM levels while emotional stability greatly reduces the PMM levels. These results can help upper management to better understand the PMM assessment results while academics can use it to amend maturity models and for conducting a more extensive longitudinal research.

The article considers the current problem of low efficiency of tools and methods used to assess the project management systems of complex engineering facilities. The problem is important today because engineering companies strive to increase their rating in a highly competitive market, and this issue is of a special concern in the international market of goods, works and services. The article presents the methodology for the assessment of the project management system, based on the simultaneous cross-section use of approaches to the assessment of project management and personnel management processes (the so-called “processes – personnel” pair) with the use of questionnaire-dialog forms of data collection. The essence of the study was to search for patterns of cross-assessment results, their comparison and determination of algorithms of mutual influence on each other, and what is necessary for a more accurate assessment of the management system. The scientific novelty of the research is the development of a set of interrelated indicators of the management system behavior in a company. The presented method was tested by the team of authors of this article during the management assessment of the international project on the construction of a thermonuclear reactor (ITER, France) in 2020. The results of the study revealed the comparability of the assessment results, confirmed the impact of the assessment results on each other and determined the possibility of predicting the assessment results per individual indicators, depending on the state of the management system in the “process-personnel” pair. This method can be used to assess the management systems of any project-oriented companies implementing capital construction projects. In the future, it can become the basis for creating a specialized standard for assessing the construction project management systems.

the aim of this study is to find out the impact of business internal factors towards the business profit for IT entrepreneurships in Bangalore. We have taken the sample size from 200 companies of Bangalore. We have undertaken the internal factors like IT management skill, organization culture, leadership, project implementation experience, technical, marketing, business cash flow, physical asset, HR function, organization maturity into the consideration. We have taken the business profit and business profit as measurement of success factors for the business. During study it was identified that certain business internal factors i.e. organizational culture, business leader’s skill, technical skill, marketing skill, organization maturity and cash flow has significant impact on business success. Whereas other factors social acceptance of business, social culture, supply of local workforce, demography, business location, climate, law and order, corruption has no impact of significance on IT entrepreneurship’s profit.

The rate of early marriage from year to year continues to increase due to economic factors, family internal factors, and social factors. Most early marriages are still middle school / high school students who do not have good emotional stability and tend to do everything they want without thinking about the impact that will occur. Many of the early marriages have children, where in educating children they unconsciously apply permissive education patterns. The personal circumstances and attitudes of each child are different, making the task of educating hard to implement, and influencing the emotional state of parents. The results showed that the emotional stability of early marriages in educating children is not good, this is because early marriages are still easily influenced by negative emotions that can be seen from the emotional response shown. Excessive emotional response is not in accordance with the notion of emotional stability, namely a permanent emotional state, not easily changed, and the response shown is not excessive. In relieving negative emotions and resolving problems that occur, early marriages more often submit to the situation assuming that emotions will be lost if left unchecked, without any effort to fnd a way out or a method of solving the problem accordingly. Although early marriages do not have good emotional stability, some early marriages have been able to maintain their emotional stability by calming themselves down and solving problems that are sources of emotion.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the governance in project organising where owner organisations interface with the temporary project organisations that they initiate. This interface between the two types of organisation represents an opportunity for innovation. Design/methodology/approach In total, 25 narrative interviews were conducted with managers who work in permanent owner and operator organisations and temporary project organisations. It is combined with the analysis of textual narratives represented in institutional reports (APM, IPA, PMI). Findings The findings show that it is the flexible and balanced approach to governance that allows innovation to emerge. Strong capable innovative owners play crucial role in creating the corporate governance framework to allow innovation in projects. Research limitations/implications The current research presents narratives voiced by senior managers in permanent owner and operator organisations and temporary project organisations. The ways governance can be adjusted through the life cycle of major programmes require further a more longitudinal research investigation. Practical implications The practical benefits for the project management community is a better understanding of corporate governance in owner and operator organisations, the role of leadership and their narratives in governing processes, and the impact of strong governance on organisational performance and project deliverables. Social implications Senior managers socially constructed the meaning of governance through narratives. The author learn about practices of governance through the perspectives of those involved in decision making. Originality/value This paper contributes to project management theory in two ways: it provides insight into the practice of corporate governance; and it develops the application of narrative enquiry to project management research.

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of Human Resource activities and practices (HRAPs) on value-driven project management in the Indian IT industry. It is a sector that offers various jobs for young IT skilled labour force, but faces major challenges in recruiting and retaining talent. A multi-method research has been carried out, using Delphi technique and a simultaneous equations model. Using the Delphi method, we developed an initial set of 136 globally accepted HRAPs. This was reduced to 20 most significant attributes applicable to Indian IT projects with the help of Kendall’s coefficient of concordance (W) used over three rounds of iterations. Later, from 431 observations, we selected the top 10 HRAPs based on mean ranks in round 3 to study the impact on value-driven project success, in terms of meeting project, customer and organizational goals. The study also uses triangulation through a multi-method research approach to achieve convergence. The significant HRAPs impacting value-driven project management include efficient project leadership, effective communication, training of project leaders, ensuring job-matching and listening to team members’ issues. Frequent team conflicts and personnel turnover, however, adversely impact IT project success. Our results confirm that the impact of HRAPs on project goals is more prominent and immediate as compared to meeting customer or organizational goals, which is often delayed. The results emphasize the necessity of integrating all stakeholders of IT projects in order to accomplish value-driven success.

The aim of the current research is to determine, from the female students’ point of view, the effectiveness of having early field experience in preparing kindergarten teachers as part of a bachelor's program. To accomplish its goal, the research tracked the program from an organizational, administrative, educational, and professional perspective for five semesters. It also measured professional participation in the program's early field experience. It used longitudinal surveys, and followed the longitudinal research approach, with the sample consisting of 135 students in the bachelor’s program for early childhood education at a Saudi university. The results of the research showed an absence of fundamental differences between the students’ viewpoints on organizational aspects and professional benefits at the academic level. The responses regarding the impact of early field experience as part of the BA program to prepare for teaching kindergarten were more positive. The research led to several field and further research recommendations, the most important of which are the adoption of early field experience as an essential part of training early childhood educators and further longitudinal studies to verify the effectiveness of teacher preparation programs.

Nowadays, the issue of climate change has attracted attention in various fields. The rise of global temperature makes humanity must take note of environmental protection and the Sustainability of different domains. The planting of vineyards and the production of wine have also been greatly affected. Since the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) officially became the 17 development goals set by the United Nations in 2015, sustainable project management development is at the forefront globally. In recent years, the wine industry has developed rapidly worldwide. However, global climate change is a challenge for French wineries if they want to maintain their high-quality wine style. Therefore, in order to cope with the impact of climate change on wine, wineries have begun to implement sustainable development project management in all aspects. Especially French wineries that make much account of Sustainability in this respect. This paper proposes the one aspect – Wine Production of CWW Conceptual model that can be used in the French wineries, Four Drivers of Sustainable Project Management Implementation Model to interpret the main drivers that impact project management implementation in the wine industry. Using mixed-method research approach, qualitative research with interview-based analysis is the primary method, as well as surveys used to interpret the elements of sustainable project management necessarily utilizing in French wineries that would help them to achieve green growth.

Abstract This article reports on the outcome of utilising a multilingual strategy that promotes translanguaging to support primary grade learners and the enablers and constraints of the implementation of such strategies. Purposive sampling was used to select two schools. Grade 5 and 6 learners (N = 162) and their teachers (N = 3) participated in the study. Qualitative research approach was employed and data was collected using classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, document analysis and storyboards. Data was analysed thematically and categorised. It was found that the enablers of translanguaging included a non-threatening and safe environment. Teachers’ positive attitude, the accessibility of the translated materials and the learners’ sense of pride due to acknowledgement and use of their home languages during lessons. The constraints included inadequate resources, limited lesson time, complexity of some of the home languages, limited experience of the teachers using a multilingual approach and existing socio-economic factors. Future longitudinal research is required to explore the impact of the strategy on the academic performance of the learners.

The research objective is to analyze the impact of the participation of online  ICT teacher training to increase the number of accessibility the learning content of features in Rumah Belajar. This research used the quantitative research approach with descriptive quantitative analysis methods to be able to describe how the increase in accessibility features of Rumah Belajar and utilization in learning in school. Samples were selected in this study are all online training participants at 15 locations online training that has been conducted by Pustekkom in 2015 and 2016 in 2015. The data was collected using a questionnaire and a list of open questions in accordance with the purpose of research. The results showed that 1) online ICT teacher training participants, after completing the Pustekkom  training online  using become more motivated to access other feature in Rumah Belajar; 2) The order of the percentage of the intensity level of accessibility to the other features of Rumah Belajar are: Sumber Belajar 23%, BSE 23%, Bank Soal 21%, Kelas Maya 13%, Lab Maya 6%, Karya Guru 4%, Wahana Jelajah Angkasa 4%, Peta Budaya 4% and Karya Komunitas 2%, and ICT training online using the application PKB Rumah Belajar can be used as a reference for efforts to develop a web-based learning applications, in particular for the development of Rumah belajar portal belongs Pustekkom Kemendikbud. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menganalisis dampak keikutsertaan diklat online  TIK guru Belajar terhadap peningkatan jumlah aksebilitas konten pembelajaran pada fitur-fitur rumah belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis kuantitatif secara deskriptif untuk bisa menggambarkan bagaimana peningkatan aksesbilitas fitur-fitur rumah belajar dan pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Sampel yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah semua peserta diklat online  pada 15 lokasi diklat online yang telah dilaksanakan oleh Pustekkom pada tahun 2015 dan 2016. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan daftar pertanyaan terbuka sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) peserta diklat online TIK Guru, setelah mengikuti diklat online Pustekkom, menjadi lebih termotivasi untuk mengakses fitur-fitur lainnya dalam Rumah Belajar; 2) Urutan prosentase tingkat intensitas aksesbilitas terhadap fitur-fitur Rumbel selain Pengembangan Keprofesian berkelanjutan (PKB) adalah: Sumber Belajar 23%, Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE) 23%, Bank Soal 21%, Kelas Maya 13%, Lab Maya 6%, Karya Guru 4%, Wahana Jelajah Angkasa 4%, Peta Budaya 4% dan Karya Komunitas 2%; dan 3) diklat online TIK menggunakan aplikasi PKB. Rumah belajar bisa dijadikan referensi bagi upaya pengembangan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis web, khususnya bagi pengembangan portal Rumah Belajar milik Pustekkom Kemendikbud.

The impact of the last global economic crisis (2008) on the European economy put a strain on higher education (HE), yet it also pushed the sector towards intensive reforms and improvements. This paper focuses on the “Strategy for the Development of Higher Education in the Republic of Bulgaria 2014-2020”. With a case study methodology, we explore the strategic endeavours of the Bulgarian government to comply with the European directions and to secure sustainable growth for the HE sector. Our research question is ‘How capable is the Bulgarian HE Strategy to overcome the economic and systemic restraints of Bulgarian higher education?’. Because the development of strategies for HE within the EU is highly contextual, a single qualitative case study was chosen as the research approach. HE institutions are not ivory towers, but subjects to a variety of external and internal forces. Within the EU, this is obviated by the fact that Universities obtain their funds from institutions such as governments, students and their families, donors, as well as EU-level programmes. Therefore, to explore how these pressures interact to affect strategic action on national level, the case method is well suited as it enabled us to study the phenomena thoroughly and deeply. The paper suggests the actions proposed within the Strategy have the potential to overcome the delay, the regional isolation and the negative impact of the economic crisis on the country. Nevertheless, the key elements on which the success or failure of this Strategy hinges are the control mechanisms and the approach to implementation. Shortcomings in these two aspects of strategic actions in HE seem to mark the difference between gaining long-term benefits and merely saving face in front of international institutions.
