The subject of making an allowance for initial expenses in a net premium valuation is one which has long interested actuaries, and it is usually associated with the name of Zillmer who first wrote an article on it in 1863. The following note, based on practical experience of valuing a young and rapidly growing life fund, may be of interest to students. The normal method of making such an allowance is, in effect, to adjust the net premium used in the valuation by the equivalent of the initial expense allowance spread over the whole duration of the policy.

The aim of the article is to summarize theoretical principles and practical experience regarding the relationship between the investment attractiveness of innovative projects and economic growth. The methods of correlation and regression analysis, extrapolation and modeling are used. The subject of the study was the features and patterns of the formation, use and regulation of the policy for assessing the investment attractiveness of company’s innovative projects in modern economic conditions. In the course of the study, an algorithm was developed to assess the size and level of investment attractiveness of the algorithm is based on the allocation of components of the enterprise’s potential. It is indicated that models for evaluating efficiency and cost should take into account not only future cash flows, but also non-financial indicators. Are proposed the construction of a multivariate model based on regression analysis. The essence of this model is to combine the traditional method of correlation analysis with least squares. This approach has the main advantage - relatively high accuracy and low costs in the construction and forecasting. The proposed model of a system for ensuring the investment attractiveness of innovative projects of companies consists of two main subsystems - information-analytical and implementation-control. These blocks provide results that allow you to increase investment attractiveness, as well as timely determine the external and internal risks of the enterpriseThe aim of the article is to summarize theoretical principles and practical experience regarding the relationship between the investment attractiveness of innovative projects and economic growth. This article carried out a detailed scientific analysis of the nature and content of operational search tactics. Analysis of the vocabulary literature suggests that, despite minor differences in the interpretation of the concept of tactics, in general, this term means "an integral part of the art of war that combines the theory and practice of preparing and conducting combat." According to the results of the study, it was established that the theoretical basis for the formation of operational-search tactics was the groundwork of forensic scientists. The author's wording of the concept of “operational-search tactics” is provided as a direction of operational-search activity, formed on the basis of its theoretical principles and practical experience of entities carrying out this activity legally with the goal of fulfilling the tasks stipulated by the Law of Ukraine “On operational-search activity” Based on the analysis of the scientific heritage of scientists, it has been established that operational-search tactics in the theory of operational-search activity can be divided into general and special ones. The questions about the delimitation (ratio) of the tactics of secret investigative (search) actions and tactics of operational search activities are considered. Despite some common signs of tactics for conducting secret investigative (search) actions and operational search activities, it should be remembered that investigation tactics are traditionally considered in the framework of criminalistics, but operational search activities are the subject of the study of the theory of operational search activities. At the same time, it was noted that the tactics of secret investigative (investigative) actions, although individual in their sense, should predominantly be based on the provisions of operational investigative activity, and not criminalistics, at least taking into account the fact that the theoretical and practical operational search tactics worked over the years. It is concluded that both forensic and operational search tactics will require a high-quality update. In particular, the results of a survey of investigators and operational workers indicate the need and desirability of borrowing foreign experience in terms of education and training of investigators and operational units on tactics of identifying, preventing and investigating crimes in the field of high technologies (as noted by 81% of respondents).

The main aim of the article is to present the considerations concerning the issue of introducing mandatory mediation into the Polish legal system within the scope of business lawsuits as well as some other kinds of civil disputes with respect to determining their suitability for mediation and the parties’ concerns regarding the use of mediation. The choice of the subject matter and the aim of these considerations have been mainly inspired by the author’s practical experience of working as a mediator in civil disputes (including business cases) and the relevant statistics concerning mediation proceedings held within the Business Mediation Center (BMC) at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Olsztyn. Introducing an obligation to mediate in selected types of disputes into the Polish social-legal system following an appropriate legislative and organizational preparation should, in principle, be considered beneficial as it might lead to popularizing mediation and making the most of its potential and advantages. Furthermore, expanding the citizens’ access to the broadly understood system of justice in its in- and out-of-court formula may result in reducing a backlog of cases in courts of justice and, in consequence, strengthening the idea of diversification in the justice system.

The subject I have to talk about this evening is one on which many previous papers have been read before this Society, so I am afraid I must ask you not to expect much original material from me. Practically the whole of the material I have gathered together is the result of practical experience, and from this point of view I hope it will prove interesting.During recent years considerable development has been done and good progress made with both the design and operation of big flying boats. Also, the Schneider Cup races have caused a considerable amount of research work to be done on the development of twin float seaplanes, particularly with regard to taking off the water at very high speeds and also to the air resistance of the floats. In the last year we have seen the advent of the Dornier Do.X the largest flying boat yet constructed, whose total flying weight approximates to 50 tons.

Syaksiyah Islamiyah is an Islamic Personality. In Muslim scientific literature, the concept of Islamic personality has not been widely developed by Muslim scientific thinkers themselves, so this affects the difficulty of applying Islamic personality and methods of formation. Based on this, this paper contains the thoughts of Muslim leader Syaikh Taqiyuddin An-Nabhani about his views and ideas on the concept of Islamic personality and its method of formation. Islamic personality is formed by Islamic aqliyah and nafsiyah Islam. With the method of instilling Islamic aqeedah and tsaqofah Islam and habituation to always be bound by syara law '.
