The paper deals with the results of the International Scientific and Practical Conference INTERLINGUA-2021, held on May 18-19, 2021 at Lipetsk State Technical University. Within the framework of the conference, the issues of the professional training of highly qualified specialists in the information-digital space were discussed. The conference participants focused their attention on the important role of professional communication as a component of communicative competence. It was noted that professional communication plays a pivotal role in the educational system of the university, since a specialist who does not have the skills to conduct a constructive dialogue, does not know how to establish contact with the interlocutor, to study his/her point of view, does not grow professionally, is not accepted by the society, and therefore becomes uncompetitive. The reports of the conference participants were distinguished by the undoubted depth of theoretical analysis and high practical relevance of the problems under consideration. As a result of the conference, round tables were held, at which the most significant aspects of professional communication, its reflection in the linguistic consciousness were discussed. The participants and guests of the conference, noting its usefulness, recognized the need to make it an annual event.

Blackboard is a learning management system (LMS) that provides students with an opportunity to access the course at their convenience. Blackboard makes it possible for students to do online activities, interact with other students and their teachers, review instructional materials, and listen to the recorded classes. Students can also attend live lectures and discussion via virtual classes (collaborative blackboard) from homes, cafés, or from anywhere they choose. All of these features can be accessed by students anytime and anywhere. This facility might motivate English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students to study effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this research is to investigate the use of Blackboard system in teaching and learning and evaluate its influence on motivating Saudi English students. It looks at the role of Blackboard on English students’ motivation from their own point of view and tries to determine whether or not students encounter issues that affect their motivation. El-Seoud et al. (2014, p. 2) believe that “the success or failure of online instruction is perhaps related to student motivation”. This study is conducted at the University of Bisha in Saudi Arabia. The sample consisted of 80 students from the English Department. This is a mixed method study of the students who use Blackboard for online learning. The study found that using Blackboard motivated students to work harder and learn better than traditional methods of learning. It also found that students believe that Blackboard is a motivating factor. Some demotivating factors have also been identified in this study.

AbstractThe surgical education in Italy has always been a very important issue. The aim of this article is to bring together the feedback of the definitions of the various components of the learning scheme and to evaluate the importance of the legal point. In March 2016 we performed a literature review. We have also examinated the internet pages of the Italian Department of Education, Health and Medical Order. In Italy the tutor had an unclear role from a legal point of view. He is the person who must be able to perform a specific procedure with expert technical and who must know how to stop the student if this is about to perform a dangerous maneuver. In Italy the ability to work for the trainee is limited in all reality, it depends on several factors including the increase of numbers of medical-legal disputes, the timing, the commitment it requires mentoring and a lack of mentors. Conclusion: In surgery, the problem is greater because of the increasingly of medico-legal implications that we are after surgical procedure. It would be necessary to define a role of the tutor in a regular protocol and a proper assessment of his performance.

The present work aims to propose a model of knowledge management for agricultural teaching based on ontologies. Through identification of the business model, business processes, intellectual capital and ontologies, the relationships between each of the parts of the model are described, and the technological elements that support it are presented. From the point of view of knowledge management and ontologies, the model that guides the innovative university is developed, where Santa Lucía Campus of the Universidad Politécnica Territorial de Mérida (UPTM) is the case study. This model describes the elements that define the knowledge of an Agricultural Production Unit from the university, so that it can incorporate the know-how of knowledge management and collaborative learning articulated with ICT applied to educational-productive management in the agricultural sector. Reforming of higher medical education in Ukraine requires reconsidering of existing learning technologies and tools as well as creating the approaches meeting up-to-date demands in order to improve the professional training of highly qualified specialists who can compete in the global medical services market. Medical biology is one of the fundamental biomedical disciplines aimed at familiarizing students with concepts about the basic laws of functioning of living beings at all organizational levels. The knowledge students have gained when studying this discipline is of great practical importance, since theoretical material is associated with a range of clinical disciplines. The eponymous terms are widely common in biology, anatomy, histology, cytology, embryology, physiology that enables to develop interdisciplinary integral relationships and contributes to the formation of a scientific worldview. The knowledge of these names and their appropriate usage even at the beginning of the special training of future doctors leads to an increase in the intellectual level, contributes to a deeper understanding of the scientific foundations of disciplines through the mastering professional terminology and the language of specialists. The clear perception of eponymous names from different branches of medicine is important for doctors of any speciality. This will facilitate their professional growth through communication with colleagues, help in working with special scientific literature, and stimulate the need for self-education and self-improvement. Eponymous terms are difficult to remember, difficult to transcribe and transliterate, but they help preserve traditions and history, glory the names of scientists and doctors who have made invaluable contributions to the development of medicine. The purpose of the publication is to analyze and highlight the role of eponymous terms that are used through the course of medical biology, in particular, the section of medical genetics, to focus on the structural features of these terminological units.
