Many artists are seen as neurotic and some believe this occurs because of their underpinning struggle to ameliorate the existential angst that often arises from living out an embodied human life. An art piece can be a means to channel the artist’s neuroticism and potentially alleviate exasperation due to conflicted thoughts about existence. At its extreme, what the author labels as existential rage occurs as a railing against the meaninglessness and disparity of life’s circumstances. Art, especially the heavy metal musical genre, is a dynamic medium that encapsulates and communicates existential rage, a version of existential injury categorized by extreme embitterment toward one’s being in the world. In this way, thoughts can be experienced as coming from outside of the artist as opposed to within the metaphorical inner cracks of their psyche. Heavy metal as a sonic medium of expression is intensely engrossed in existential concerns about existence. Laypersons and mental health practitioners alike stand to benefit from an expanded understanding of heavy metal in discourse on universal concerns within existential philosophy and psychology.

The article reveals the purpose of psychology as a field of knowledge related to the life sciences, and aims to learn as much as possible about the mental life of all living beings on our planet, and therefore life in general, although most in the second century of its scientific design is primarily interested in its own representations and their communities. The division into currents, directions, specializations, experiments studied by R. Trach is given, which reflects parts of integrity in the study of human mental life, which when combined do not reflect human integrity. It is noted that this natural general civilizational tendency to restore lost in the scientific period knowledge of integrity led to the need to develop a vitacultural methodology, ie a methodology for the culture of human life. The guidelines of V.A. Romenets are presented, which at the beginning of the XXI century were embodied in the development by A.V. Furman of the vitacultural methodology of psychological knowledge, presented in the metaphor of the mill of human life and cultural heritage by its thinking. A.V. Furman’s restoration of the subject field of psychological knowledge in the outlines of canonical psychology as defined by V.A. Roments as the most natural form of psychology as a science is revealed. The definition of psychohygiene as a system of means used by man and society as a whole to maintain their own mental health and, consequently, health as a whole, which does not exist without this essential property, is substantiated. In particular, it is clarified that these tools are contained in the mental health of man and in society itself and are unconsciously required in everyday life, just as the need for homeostasis is not realized until the need for special efforts to maintain the integrity of its own functioning. The article presents the methodological foundations of psychohygienic conditionality of the development of psychological theories, their general civilization and individually significant for human demand in the practical context of maintaining mental health in communities where its vital functioning; revealed the cyclical nature of the development of psychohygiene in conjunction with the psychological expression of the respective societies and communities of risks and threats to their own integrity, life purpose and the unimpeded realization of their natural capabilities. The section “Strengthening Mental Health: Strengthening the Response of the World Health Organization” outlines WHO’s approaches to promoting and protecting mental health worldwide. Ways to enhance the WHO response to mental health are specified, including early intervention, child support, socio-economic empowerment of women, social support for the elderly, vulnerable people, including minorities, indigenous peoples, migrants and affected by conflict, mental health advocacy, mental health interventions at work, housing policy, violence prevention, community development, poverty reduction and social protection of the poor, anti-discrimination laws and campaigns, promotion of rights, opportunities and care people with mental disorders. The sections devoted to the world development of the methodology, theory and practice of psychohygiene are presented chronologically: “Development of psychological knowledge and psychohygiene. The last third of the XIX – beginning of the XX century: emergence in Ukraine “,” The first third of the XX century: theoretical and practical rise and development in Ukraine “,” 60s of the XX - the first decades of the XXI century: the return of the forgotten “. It has been proven that the psychological content of psychohygiene is the purpose of all branches of psychological knowledge to create a mental culture of a person, including the culture of his own mental health. The tendencies of the current state of development of theoretical and methodological problems of psychohygiene are presented, which testify to the irreversible process of restoring the humanistic orientation of public consciousness, and with it - the appeal of psychological research to the problems of pedagogical tact, attentiveness, caution, respect for human dignity, mental and physical health. I am a person who has a particularly significant tradition in Ukrainian psychological culture. It is noted that this tradition is a reflection of the extremely tragic history of the development of phylogenetic conditions for the preservation of the life of the Ukrainian nation during the last millennium.

Lockdown is considered to be the best of policies around the world to fight the deadly virus of COVID-19 which decimated hundreds of people in the last six months. However, this is not a cost-free measure. Billions of dollars worth of economic activities halted hinging upon these measures imposed by the governments of the countries. For instance, IMF predicted that the GDP growth will decline by 4.9 percent in 2020. Global trade is also expected to plummet by 27 percent in the second quarter of the year. In addition, paucity of recreational activities severely affects the mental health of the people. While imposing lockdown, both the cost and benefit should be analyzed to understand the real benefit of these measures on human life. This study critically examines the impact of the lockdown measures on mental health, and the economy of Bangladesh along with the efficacy of the measures on containing the virus. We found that the negative impact on the economy and mental health surpasses the positive impact of curbing the pandemic. It also compares the efficacy of the measures in different countries to find out the pattern that resembles with Bangladesh. From all the data, we conclude that the cost of lockdown measures in the country is greater than the benefit it brings to Bangladesh.

Al-Qur'an as a noble holy book and a guide for human life, always guides people to be positive for their own good, including talking about the importance of maintaining health for the freshness and fitness of the human body both physically and mentally. Healthy in the positive sense described in the Koran, namely the preservation of all the potential gifts of God on him in the form of organs that can functionally move various work activities to build himself and the environment in which he lives and is. There is a specificity that can be described by the Koran on the physical and mental health aspects of this matter, especially all the potential for body and soul to always be meaningful to be healthy and strong to perform worship to Allah SWT perfectly as proof of his gratitude to Allah SWT who created it with a hope to get the pleasure of Him and get the highest mau'nah from God to get heaven jannatun na'im. Syurga jannatun na'im longs for strong people to worship and do good deeds perfectly according to the will and wishes of Allah SWT or those who are pleased by Him. Of course, only people who are healthy and strong, physically and mentally, as well as whose perfection in worshiping or doing good deeds to Allah will occupy a quality heaven. Strong is synonymous with being physically and mentally healthy, therefore only those who are strong and healthy will also be able to carry out God's mandate, namely religion with the perfection of all its Shari'a. Therefore people who want to get happiness and prosperity accompanied by safety in the world and in the hereafter are obliged to strive to be healthy physically and mentally and always respect, maintain and glorify physically and spiritually so that they are always healthy or get used to living healthy within the framework of Islamic law guided by teachings of al-Qur'anul Karim and Al-Hadith.

There have been dozens of research reports to explore the negative effects of the Corona pandemic on human life and mental health. So far, researchers are of the view that major effects of the Corona on people's lives are directly related to depression, frustration and anxiety.Several studies suggest that mental problems are currently on the rise around the world and people of all ages are suffering from depression. The World Health Organization (WHO), in this regard, has also issued detailed recommendations on mental health during the global outbreak of the Covid-19. According to the WHO, panic, anxiety, and stress is typical responses at the time of crisis and it is quite understandable that people are facing fear and uncertainty due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the WHO is committed to providing guidelines during the pandemic in the best interest of Corona patients, doctors, health workers, people in isolation, authorities and the general public.

COVID-19, the disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, has affected most parts of the globe since its first appearance in the city of Wuhan, China, in December 2019. As a result, the World Health Organization declared the virus a global public health crisis and a pandemic within 2 weeks, after the virus had spread to 114 countries with 118 000 recorded cases and 4291 deaths due to the virus and related complications. The World Health Organization declaration is indicative of the enormous impact of the pandemic on human life globally. South Africa has not been exempted from that impact. While the pandemic has affected all South Africans in various ways, the poor have been most affected due to structural inequality, poverty, unemployment, and lack of access to quality health care and other services. Furthermore, public mental health has also been negatively affected by the pandemic, and this comes against a backdrop of an ailing mental health care system. We argue that the psychology profession, as a mental health profession and behavioural science, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, ought to play a significant role in addressing the mental health ramifications of the pandemic. In so doing, lessons can be drawn from other countries while establishing contextual immediate and long-term interventions.
