Majelis taklim is a community educational institution that grows and develops from within the Muslim community itself whose interests are for the benefit of mankind. When viewed from the organizational structure, majelis taklim is a non-formal education organization which has a special Islamic religious characteristic. When viewed from the point of view of objectives, majelis taklim is an institution or means of Islamic da'wah which is self-standing and self-disciplined can organize and carry out its activities. In it develops democratic principles based on deliberation to reach consensus for the smooth implementation of al-taklim al-Islamy in accordance with the demands of its participants.Religious practice is an act performed by a servant as a form of bond / obedience to Allah SWT in order to get closer, obediently and obediently carry out His orders and recommendations and stay away from all His prohibitions. The religious practice referred to here is to carry out religious teachings in everyday life, especially in the aspects of faith, worship and morals.

Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution which was first established in Indonesia has strong tradition root in society. At the beginning, it was established by the muslim community independently, it was nonformal and taught only religious material. However, it is now continuing to renew the pattern of formal education in the form of schools or madrasa with the standard government curriculum. The existence of pesantren is no longer considered as second class of educational institution, and not qualified, but as a prestigious educational institution because it has established schools or madrasah that are managed professionally, so its ouput and outcome have superior quality compared to general school or madrasah. Thus the existence of pesantren is now a part of the national education system that graduation has a dual advantages of the mastery of science and religion in a balanced way

Since the middle of the 1980s French Canadian novelist Sylvain Trudel has constantly put his characters in contentious situations from which they try to escape by way of creating alternative worlds at the same time real and fantastical. This device takes the characters away from their trite everyday life and into a symbolic and mystical universe. The synthème seems to be fit into that symbolic frame. Through the child’s point of view – which seems then to become some sort of secret language – each object belonging to the realm of the profane becomes tinted with a sacred meaning. Synthème and symbol would then be considered as vehicles for the sacred, that which shows through Sylvain Trudel’s novels.

This study was developed with Early Childhood Preservice Teachers within the framework of the Teaching and Learning of Social Sciences over three academic years (2017–2018, 2018–2019, and 2019–2020) at the University of Alcalá. The main objective was to improve the learning to learn competence during teacher training from an outdoor experience at the Museum of Guadalajara (Spain), using e/m-learning tools (Blackboard Learn, Google Forms, QR codes, and websites) and the inquiry-based learning approach. To ascertain the level of acquisition of this competence in those teachers who were being trained, their self-perception—before and after—of the outdoor experience was assessed through a system of categories adapted from the European Commission. The results show a certain improvement in this competence in Early Childhood Preservice Teachers. Additionally, this outdoor experience shows the insufficient educational adaptation of the museum to the early childhood education stage from a social sciences point of view. Finally, we highlight the importance of carrying out outdoor experiences from an inquiry-based education approach. These outdoor experiences should be carried out in places like museums to encourage contextualized and experiential learning of the youngest in formal education.

AbstractThis paper concerns a problem, the global pandemic COVID-19, which has influenced religious practices with respect to health protection across the Muslim world. Rapid transmission of the virus between people has become a serious challenge and a threat to the health protection of many countries. The increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in the Muslim community took place during and after the pilgrimages to Iran's Qom and as a result of the Jamaat Tabligh movement meetings. However, restrictions on religious practices have become a platform for political discussions, especially among Muslim clergy. This paper is an analysis of the religious and political situation in Muslim countries, showing the use of Islam to achieve specific goals by the authorities, even at the price of the health and life of citizens.

The article uses case studies of artistic and cultural practices on Internet in Serbia (1996–2014) to provide a deeper analysis of possible uses of internet technology and internet art for social and political change as well as showcasing changing attitudes toward the internet in a transitional semi-periphery state. Through analyzing these questions, the article defines several phases of development of internet and art projects in Serbia including (a) the phase of techno-utopia when internet technology was used for staging and supporting student protests and the so-called first ‘internet revolution’ in Serbia (1996–1999); (b) the phase of ambivalence or ‘mixed feelings’ toward the Internet, triggered of by Kosovo War and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)-led bombing of 1999–2000; (c) the phase of optimism and hope about the Internet after the ‘October 5th’ revolution (2000–cc. 2005); and (d) the phase of disillusionment with both the Internet and democracy (2010–2014). This study re-evaluates early achievements and democratic principles of networked society and illuminates core issues and accomplishments of cyberculture from the 1990s until present times through the point of view of multiple actors present within Serbian art and culture.

This paper investigates the causal relationship between education and GDP in 40 Asian countries by using panel unit root tests and panel cointegration analysis for the period 1970-2010. A three-variable model is formulated with capital formation as the third variable. The results show a strong causality from investment and economic growth to education in these countries. Yet, education does not have any significant effects on GDP and investment in short- and long-run. It means that it is the capital formation and GDP that drives education in mentioned countries, not vice versa. So the findings of this paper support the point of view that it is higher economic growth that leads to higher education proxy. It seems that as the number of enrollments raise, the quality of the education declines. Moreover, the formal education systems are not market oriented in these countries. This may be the reason why huge educational investments in these developing countries fail to generate higher growth. By promoting practice-oriented training for students particularly in technical disciplines and matching education system to the needs of the labor market, it will help create long-term jobs and improve the country’s future prospects.

AbstractIntroduction: The aim of the study was to find out what is the understanding of relatively new terms coming into the cultures of Middle-European countries – inclusion, diversity, and equality (hereinafter referred to as IDE) – from the point of view of young people (n=30) and youth workers (n=16) in Slovakia.Methods: For data gathering, we used a method of focus groups (4 meetings). Data analysis was based on three criteria: consistency in understanding the terms, an overview of types of obstacles that keep young people from self-realisation and an explicit or implicit expression of understanding the basic principles of inclusion in education. The content of IDE terms was mostly from the area of the social field. The term diversity was closely explained in the psychological-personal fields.Results: The most frequent obstacles for applying IDE approaches were seen in the social, health and religious spheres. From the pedagogical and methodological point of view, the problem is also in the difficulty of preparing the projects based on the principles of IDE while the youth workers proclaim autonomy in solutions and do not trust the possibilities of using general methods because of specific need resulting from the specific context of their work. Also, they proclaim natural applying of the IDE principles and the existence of specific needs in the informal education does not represent any problem for the inclusion of the group members in the activities of the organisation.Limitations: Work with youth is very varied. Performs in different areas of life and also involves working with different groups of young people. The selected research sample consists of youth and youth workers who are only a partial sample of the sample. It is assumed that in a larger group of respondents (both youth workers and youths themselves), respondents' views may differ somewhat in some of the areas studied.Conclusions: This research provides information on understanding, implementation and obstacles to applying the principles of inclusion, equality and diversity in practice. We believe that the information we receive is very valuable as it opens the imaginative door to the specific kitchens of individual youth organizations where these principles are directly implemented. They show their nature of application in practice, they suggest some risks, as well as a certain bias towards the application of the terms emerging (probably?) from theory. As can be seen from the results of our research, the emergence of specific needs in non-formal education in practice does not pose a problem in the inclusion of group members in leisure activities.

The use of electronic money as a transaction tool in everyday life is a necessity, people use the money to pay for various needs such as buying goods in the marketplace, buying food online, KRL train tickets, paying toll tickets and others. On the other hand, the use of electronic money in society raises questions, especially for Muslims. Is electronic money as a medium of exchange in accordance with the Qur'an and As-Sunnah? Several Indonesian Muslim scholars who are concerned about the practice of Muamalah Maaliyah have given their thoughts and opinions on the use of electronic money. This paper is a step in answering this question. This paper will try to provide an explanation why the use of electronic money is not in accordance with the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. This research uses case study – qualitative research as research methodology. For this study, data were collected from documentation: Bank Indonesia regulations, the fatwa of the Sharia Council-Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI), fatwas of world scholars, instructions for the use of electronic money from banks/issuing companies, participant observations and observations, namely as users of electronic money who also use electronic money. Experienced as a banker in a state-owned bank. Using this method, this research will explore and explain how electronic money is managed and why some Muslims doubt this money. The conclusion of this study is that Bank Indonesia as the regulator and DSN-MUI issued a fatwa and this is in line with the fatwa issued by Majma' al-Fiqh al-Islami under the World Muslim League in its decision No. 86, 3/9 explains that “bank deposits, both in Islamic banks and conventional banks, from the fiqh point of view are debt, having different views on the concept and characteristics of electronic money used in Indonesia. The solution to this problem is that Bank Indonesia as a regulator needs to open space so that electronic money that is in accordance with sharia provisions can be realized so that the interests of the Muslim community are met. Abstrak Penggunaan uang elektronik sebagai alat transaksi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari adalah suatu keniscayaan, masyarakat menggunakan uang tersebut untuk membayar berbagai keperluan seperti membeli barang di marketplace, membeli makanan secara online, tiket kereta api KRL, membayar tiket tol dan lain-lain. Di sisi lain, penggunaan uang elektronik di masyarakat menimbulkan pertanyaan terutama bagi umat Islam. Apakah uang elektronik sebagai alat tukar sesuai dengan Al-Qur'an dan As-Sunnah? Beberapa cendekiawan muslim Indonesia yang concern terhadap praktik Muamalah Maaliyah telah memberikan pemikiran dan pendapatnya tentang penggunaan uang elektronik. Tulisan ini merupakan langkah dalam menjawab pertanyaan tersebut. Tulisan ini akan mencoba memberikan penjelasan mengapa penggunaan uang elektronik tidak sesuai dengan Al-Qur’an dan As-Sunnah. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus – penelitian kualitatif sebagai metodologi penelitian. Untuk penelitian ini data dikumpulkan dari dokumentasi: ketentuan Bank Indonesia, fatwa Dewan Syariah-Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI), fatwa ulama sedunia, instruksi penggunaan uang elektronik dari bank/perusahaan penerbit, observasi dan observasi partisipan yaitu sebagai pengguna uang elektronik yang juga berpengalamanan sebagai bankir di bank milik pemerintah. Dengan menggunakan metode ini, penelitian ini akan mengeksplorasi dan menjelaskan bagaimana uang elektronik dikelola dan mengapa sebagian umat Islam meragukan uang ini. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Bank Indonesia selaku regulator dan DSN-MUI yang mengeluarkan fatwa dan ini sejalan dengan fatwa yang dikeluarkan oleh Majma’ al-Fiqh al-Islami di bawah Liga Muslim Dunia dalam keputusannya No. 86, 3/9 menerangkan bahwa “simpanan bank, baik di bank Islam maupun bank konvensional, dari sudut pandang fiqih merupakan hutang, memiliki pandangan yang berbeda mengenai konsep dan karakteristik uang elektronik yang digunakan di Indonesia. Solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah Bank Indonesia sebagai regulator perlu membuka ruang agar uang elektronik yang sesuai dengan ketentuan syariah dapat diwujudkan sehingga kepentingan masyarakat muslimin terpenuhi. The article is devoted to the problem of bullying and anti-bullying policy in school institutions. The problem of bullying, from a scientific point of view, began to be studied at the end of the 20th century. Today, this issue is covered in all laws and programs related to ensuring a safe educational environment for participants in the educational process. Bullying, as a social and pedagogical problem, has been actively studied since the beginning of the development of information and communication technologies, which contributed to the rapid dissemination of not only verbal, but also media information: photo and video facts about manifestations of bullying between children. The article presents the results of the research "Unicef", "La Strada-Ukraine", which indicate the prevalence of the phenomenon of bullying among children. The essence of the concept of "bullying" is revealed, as well as categories that are close in meaning: "violence", "aggression", "bullying", "bullying", "conflict". The structural components of the roles of the bullying process are described: initiators or offenders, helpers of offenders, defenders of the victim, victims and observers. The article provides data on anti-bulging programs in foreign countries and focuses on the problem of anti-bulging policy in educational institutions of our country. Three main approaches that make up the anti-bullying policy of schools are analyzed: disciplinary, restorative and an integrated approach, which is implemented using two directions: managerial and educational. The directions of anti-bullying policy at school are presented, namely managerial and educational. The managerial direction is organized and implemented by the head of the educational institution. The constituent components of activities in this area are an analysis of the current situation in an educational institution, the development of an official position of the institution regarding bullying and informing all participants in the educational process about it, the development of rules of conduct for all participants in the educational process and informing about them, defining the responsibilities and responsibilities of participants educational process in relation to the rules of safe behavior in an educational institution, instructing employees, students and parents. Whereas the educational direction is characterized by informing, explaining, developing the skills of tolerance and non-violent communication of all participants in the educational process.

The study aimed to highlight the importance of using body language in the teaching process and determining the importance of using it in teaching the lower grades from the point of view of public school teachers in Jenin The study was followed the descriptive/exploratory method, where the researcher conducted an extensive survey of related literature to achieve the first objective, while the field data were collected by a questionnaire consisting of (34) items divided into three areas: teacher, learner, Classroom management, it was implemented on a sample of (125) teachers. The findings indicated that the use of body language acquire a great importance in more than one aspect of the educational process(learner, Teacher, Class management), and showed that the level of teachers awareness of the importance of using body language in teaching process came in a high degree. Regarding to the variables, the findings showed that there were statistically significant differences due to the sex variable in teachers' awareness degree at the level of the learner domain and classroom management domain, in favor of females, while the findings showed that there were no differences at the level of teacher domain and the tool due to the sex variable, and no differences due to the years of experience variable at the level of the tool and its three fields In the light of mentioned results, a set of recommendations were addressed to teachers and the educational institution officials and researchers.
