The law of Indonesian Republic Number 20 year 2003 Chapter XIV article 50 verse 5 states that The local government manages the primary and secondary education and a unit of education on a local basis. The purpose of this study was to describe how local wisdom ethnic Madurese as the basic for analysis in planning of the management of the relationship between school with society to improve the quality of education. This research was conducted using qualitative approach using multi sites study. The activity in sites data analysis is done by data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the research findings of the school which understands local wisdom as a way of dealing with things based on local culture as the basic of the analysis in the planning of the management of the relationship between school with society.

The purpose of this study is to see how the form of empowerment of school committees in improving the quality of education especially in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Research findings The existence of a school committee is an important element in improving the quality of school education services, its existence with all the tasks and functions it has can play a role in realizing better quality education services. Efforts to empower school committees are carried out in various ways although they are still not ideal as stated in the regulations related to school committees. In principle, so far the participation of school committee members and the form of empowerment of school committees is still limited to routine meetings and the fulfillment of supporting facilities for student learning facilities that are done voluntarily by school committees. Based on this, the efforts to empower school committees have been made but are still limited to routine agendas that are not yet optimal as the actual duties and functions of school committees.

This study aims to investigate the financial management and strategies deployed by Rumah Pintar (Rumpin) BAZNAS Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta to improve the quality of education. Employing a qualitative approach, the data of this research is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data display and data verification. The results show that financial resources of Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan are obtained from zakat through BAZNAS Center and through the allocation of costs in Rumpin that has increased from year to year. The improved allocation of costs were caused by the increasing need for services requested by the service recipients (mustahik). The result of the cost improvement is the increasing quality of education and  services. It can be seen from the achievements obtained by Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan which won number of awards such as the Best Rumpin in center development under the category of Non-Departmental body;  received award of pustaka bakti tama penggerak buku (books reader movement for literary devotion) and several training certificates that can be used to find a job.

This study aims to determine the application of the Tasmi’ method in improving the quality of students memorization. This research place in school MI Mumtaza Islamic School Pondok Cabe Udik. The main data source is Head of tahfizh, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Tahfizh Teacher, and students of the class V MI Mumtaza Islamic School Pondok Cabe Udik. This research is motivated by the existence of the Tasmi’ program which is implemented in schools MI Mumtaza Islamic School. The teacher provides a special method so that students do not feel bored when memorizing the Qur’an. The method applied is the Tasmi’ method to train students in repeating rote memorization. The Tasmi’ method is a way to expedite memorization and sharpen memorization. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection teachniques by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction, data display (presentation of data), and make decisions. The result of this study indicate that the implementation of the Tasmi’ program is very useful and able to improve the quality of students memorization. Even though there are many obstacles at the technical level, with the existence of this Tasmi’ program students can istiqamah in reviewing their memorization, either memorizing new material or memorizing old material.

Abstract This study aims to reveal information about his struggle in improving the quality of education of Sundanese women, more specifically in their skills. The vision carried by Raden Dewi Sartika is ”Mun jadi awéwé kudu miboga keterampilan, kudu sagala bisa, ambéh bisa hirup”,, the meaning is woman have everything possible in order to live. It means that a woman should be smart (cognitive), polite (affective) to her husband and anyone, and have the skills (psychomotor). The success played by Raden Dewi Sartika in managing his institution, certainly not without reason. He applied the management education in accordance with the conditions at that time. A good institution can not be separated from the implementation of good management as well. The study of management applied by Raden Dewi Sartika is the subject of management's perspective. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive analytic method. The method used is observation and documentation. Data analysis phase is data reduction, as well as conclusion and verification (Conclusion and verification). The management of Raden Dewi Sartika in managing hereducation has followed the management concepts by J. David Hanger, this can be seen directly in the implementation of the environment, planning, management, supervision and evaluation. In this connection the authors are interested to conduct research on the management carried out by Raden Dewi Sartika in managing his education named Sekolah Kautamaan Istri. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap informasi tentang perjuangan Raden Dewi Sartika dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan wanita Sunda, lebih khusus dalam keterampilannya. Visi keterampilan yang ditekankan Raden Dewi Sartika adalah ”Mun jadi awéwé kudu miboga keterampilan, kudu sagala bisa, ambéh bisa hirup”, artinya kalau jadi perempuan harus segala bisa agar bisa hidup). Artinya seorang perempuan harus pintar (kognitif), sopan (afektif ) kepada suami dan kepada siapa saja, dan memiliki keterampilan (psikomotor). Keberhasil yang diperankan oleh Raden Dewi Sartika dalam mengelola lembaganya, tentu bukan tanpa alasan. Ia menerapkan manajemen pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kondisi pada waktu itu. Lembaga yang baik tidak terlepas dari penerapan manajemen yang baik pula. Kajian mengenai manajemen yang diterapkan oleh Raden Dewi Sartika menjadi pokok bahasan dari perspektif manajemen. Pendekatan menggunakan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Metode yang digunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Tahap analisis datanya adalah reduksi data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi (Conclusion and verification). Manajemen yang dilakukan Raden Dewi Sartika dalam mengelola pendidikannya telah mengikuti konsep-konsep manajemen J. David Hanger, hal ini bisa dilihat langsung dalam pelaksanaan dari lingkungan, perencanaan, pengelolaan, pengawasan dan evaluasi. Dalam kaitan inilah penulis tertarik untuk mengadakan penelitian tentang manajemen yang dilakukan oleh Raden Dewi Sartika dalam mengelola pendidikannya yang bernama Sekolah Kautamaan Istri. This article aims to analyze: 1) the concept of the visionary leadership of the head of Madin (Madrasah Diniyah) in improving the quality of students (santri) at the Al-Khoirot Islamic boarding school, 2) the process of the relationship between the head of Madin and its members in improving the quality of students at the Al-Khoirot Islamic boarding school, 3) the results of achieving the quality of students carried out by the head of Madin Al-Khoirot. This article uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis uses data condensation, display data, and make conclusions. The results showed: 1) The concept of the visionary leadership of the Madin Al-Khoirot head includes: a) the formulation of the vision based on the provisions of Madin graduates. b) make changes and innovations that advance. c) conduct training and monitoring of Madin teachers. d) build cooperation with pesantren. 2) the process of building good relations is carried out by holding regular meetings with all Madin residents. 3) the results of quality achievement are shown by the success of Madin Al-Khoirot graduates being accepted in foreign Islamic educational institutions.

This study aims at finding the configuration pattern in education that exists among families, schools and social community and determining the quality of education which affects the high quality of education. This study implements phenomenological-qualitative approach carried out in three schools in Bantul regency. The respondents of the research were the principals, teachers, students, school committee, and parents. The data were obtained through in-depth interview, observation and documentation study which were analyzed qualitatively. The result of the research shows that the pattern of educational configuration is formed by the variations of school’s implementation of responsibilities carried out separately and consecutively in a family, schools and a social community. The quality of education at the level of school system is considered better compared to that of individuals and it also varies based on the school’s condition. The pattern of configuration of the educational responsibility aspect is related to the quality of education itself. The pattern does affect the level of the quality of the education if the family, schools and the social community do the responsibility separately, consecutively and consistently without being affected by any distractor.

AbstractAccreditation is one of the governments to improve the quality of education. Likewise, to ensure the quality of education at the PAUD and PNF levels, the government held an accreditation program. However, it still has issues that need to be resolved. This study aims to identify and describe the problems of accreditation and quality mapping in the Education Office of Kulonprogo Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and type of case study research. Based on the results of this research, in mapping the quality of accreditation in PAUD and PNF in Kulonprogo Regency, the first activity carried out was to conduct a quality mapping analysis of each institution. And the results show that the average standard kindergarten, KB, Pos PAUD, LPK and PKBM institutions that must be supervised strictly is the standard of financing. After conducting the analysis, a workshop was conducted with the Dikpora and all PAUD and PNF heads. Keywords: Quality mapping, accreditation, PAUD, PNF.

The Quality of education depends on the quality of teachers. For nourishing the creative potentials of children, creative teaching is required. In this type of education, the available human and material resources are utilized in such a striking way that satisfactory results are ensured. Teachers using such methods can enhance their teaching competency. In the present study, an attempt is made to investigate the relationship between general teaching competency and the attitude towards creative teaching. The study was carried out on a sample of 120 B.Ed. trainees of Aurangabad City. The data was collected through the General Teaching Competency Scale (GTCS) developed by Passi and Lalitha and the Attitude Scale of Creative Teaching (ASCT) by Shukla. The result reveals that there is positive but low and negligible correlation between general teaching competency and attitude towards creative teaching. Results also portray that the degree of general teaching competency is high and attitude towards creative teaching is also positive.

Purpose – It is worth focusing on the examination of factors influencing the quality of the work environment. The purpose of this paper is to verify the influence of the HRM system and organisational trust on employee commitment. Design/methodology/approach – The survey was conducted in Poland among 370 employees in organisations from two sectors of the economy: services and industry. The verification of the theoretical model was performed based on structural equation modelling. Findings – Research findings made it possible to successfully verify the model of the relationship between the HRM system (practices, process), organisational trust and commitment. The starting point for trust in an organisation followed by commitment is the HRM system. It seems that the impact of the HRM process on creating organisational trust is higher. Research findings have also confirmed a relationship between each type of organisational trust and calculative commitment based on benefits, which is a strong determinant of affective commitment. Organisational trust is, therefore, an intermediary factor because the organisation must build trust in employees first before they become affectively committed. Originality/value – Current studies have not examined the issue of a mutual relationship between three constructs: perceived HRM practices and process, organisational trust and commitment. What is more, previous research was confined to the constructs analysed holistically without considering their complexity (different types of trust and commitment). In addition, the authors attempted to enrich Allen and Mayer’s (1991) model with a new aspect of the commitment – calculative, which is linked to the benefits received by employees. The authors also identified the mediating influence of the trust and calculative commitment onto the affective commitment.

Teacher Quality is one factor that determines student achievement, the research to find out the relationship and contribution to the quality of teachers to student achievement in subjects Housekeeping. This Reseach is expected to expective to be useful for teachers to improve performance. To measure student achievement are used Pearson Product Moment analysis method. Of test data analysis can be seen that there is asignificant relationship with the teacher quality anatara student achiement, which toount (7.09423) is greater than ttable (2.021). Whereas the contribution of teacher quality on student achiement is the amount of KP 46.64% while the remaining 53.36% is determinedby other variables is one of the largest employment practices in the industry.
