This is an exploratory, descriptive study with a quantitative approach and the aim to identify the perception of fathers regarding their children's needs; strategies used by fathers to get closer to their children as well as to analyze the influence of household chores and children's education in their fathers' lives. Study subjects were 92 men with six-year-old children, residing in the city of Rio Grande, state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS). The results revealed fathers who are more engaged in activities with their children, valuing confidence, safety, as well as proximity to family as children's main needs, having prioritized the progress children make as well as attention to listening and conversation. Children's education does not aggregate more problems than they imagined, managing to plan life the way they seek to. These findings show that, in the sample studied, fathers have been able to develop more affectionate actions aimed at being more involved with their children.

Learning is necessity, not just for children, but also for all people required to get an education. Bresekamp, an expert on developmental psychology (1997:97), reveals that administration in early children education is recognized as a very important period in building human resources and the danger comes once this period and can not be repeated again, so that stimulation can be started with an education that can be absolutely necessary. Homeschooling is a process that can be done by any parents who love and care their children. Any educational background or job does not preclude parents to make educational homeschooling. It needs commitment, willingness to learn, and work hard. Homeschooling is not an easy thing, but it can be carried out because it has millions of parents who do it for their children Homeschooling families who apply this system, must see that this model has a great opportunity to teach the habit of looking for any information for their children’s education needs which focus on skills that are loaded with the latest information. Homeschooling can be an alternative method for children’s education in the early age, in addition to its application implemented in home environment, kids can directly interact and apply their knowledge in the real world, and at the same time, the children can immediately get explanation or correction when making the mistake. In addition to be able to carry out the methods of homeschooling, parents should be able to spend their time for  their children and be creative and innovative so as to be able to attract and interact in knowing the curiosity of the children.

Hindus considered Bhatara Kumara in Bali as a protector or guardian deity for newborn children. Offering and worshiping Bhatara Kumara is very important to do every day to protect or give children gifts. However, in Tutur Kumara Tatwa, Bhatara Kumara teachings are not only for children but for all people. The teachings conveyed are a form of self-control in this life. The teaching or education in Tutur Kumara Tatwa certainly has implications for human life, especially in Bali. Children's education is essential to do from an early age to develop good character. Good character is not only for children but also applies to all human beings. According to Tutur Kumara Tatwa, character education from Bhatara Siwa to Bhatara Kumara originated from a field where Bhatara Kumara was grazing called Argakuruksana. Bhatara Kumara felt like life in solitude. During his life as a shepherd, he had experienced many ups and downs. It is what can be learned as teaching or values in life that can affect human life. Bhatara Kumara was blessed or awarded by Bhatara Shiva to stay young, achieving eternal happiness. Bhatara Kumara is represented as the god of a baby. It means that babies should have received character education from their parents. Bhatara Kumara's role in human life, especially for Bali's Hindu community, is seen as the God of children from birth to Telung Oton's age (630 days). Bhatara Kumara is placed in Pelangkiran and is believed to be the child's protector or guardian
