<p>This research is focused on the discussion of (1) integration between traditional and conventional medicine in the RSJ (Mental Hospital) of Bali, (2) the form of a combination of traditional medicine with conventional medicine for mental disorder patients at Mental Hospital of Bali, (3) the impact of integrating traditional medicine and conventional in mental patients at Mental Hospital of Bali. The theory used in analyzing the three problem formulations in this study, namely: (1) psychoanalytic theory, (2) ethnomedicine theory, and (3) perception theory. This research uses the method of documentation, literature study, observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate the following points. First, the factors that cause psychiatric rehabilitation patients at RSJ Bali integrate traditional and conventional medicine consisting of internal factors, e.g., beliefs, needs for holistic nursing care, religion, social, and culture, and also external factors, e.g., state legitimacy towards traditional medicine and western biomedical weakness. Second, the form of traditional medicine for mental illness patients at RSJ Bali Province consists of traditional forms, e.g., diagnosis (nengerin), peruwatan (bhuta Yajna) and spells, speech, dharma wacana (spiritual ceremony), prayer, and text-based handling (manuscripts) of medicine and a combination of traditional and modern techniques, and also conventional forms of treatment for psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral approaches (cognitive behavior), humanistic approaches, and other types of therapy. The form of combining traditional and modern techniques consists of diagnosis, improvement of mental development, the use of drugs, and treatment by spiritual means. Third, traditional and conventional treatments for mental patients at RSJ Bali have an individual impact, social impact, psychological impact on patients, the impact of power, and the impact of community culture.</p>

This study aims to find the social impact, morals, and strategies for dealing with COVID-19 among students. Another goal is to find out the social, religious and psychological impact of COVID-19 on students at Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor. The research method approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with the head of the student class. The sample was selected through a purposive technique. The results were carefully examined through triangulation. The results showed that students could not establish social relations between students and did not participate in campus social organizations. Another finding, the Covid-19 outbreak has an impact on student morals because online meetings are more difficult to foster student morals because teachers do not meet students. In addition, students experience various stresses due to piling tasks and online learning does not face various obstacles such as difficulty communicating with lecturers and not understanding the material. Students take various ways to overcome stress such as listening to favourite music, watching YouTube, playing games, getting enough rest, eating favourite foods such as eating meatballs, straightening intentions, and also strengthening worship and getting closer to God.

Based on the background above, the problem discussed in this study is the impact on children in Marriage to Gelahang in Pakraman village, Tanggahan Peken, Sulahan Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency. Data collection in this research uses observation, interview and literature study techniques. The research location was set in the village of Pakraman Tanggahan Peken, Sulahan Village, Susut District, Bangli Regency. The Occurrence of Marriage to Gelahang in the village of Pakraman Tanggahan Peken because there are two factors, namely heredity and social factors, where these factors have an impact on children for the future. The resulting impact is a psychological impact, where the existence of Marriage to Gelahang causes pressure on children, both mentally, such as the unpreparedness of children to carry out double obligations when implementing Marriage to Gelahang with different banjar / village and<br />physically, where when the child is siblings with many obligations that must be fulfilled, where both obligations cannot be abandoned, it causes physical pressure and even financial pressure for the child. In addition to psychological effects, marriage to Gelahang also causes social impacts, because there is<br />no regulation on marriage that raises questions from the community why the obligations undertaken in the village and in the banjar are the same as a married couple who carry out ordinary marriages.Besides that, in family law there are two impacts, positive and negative. And the last is the inheritance system, where having one child will have an impact on the heirs or successors in the future.</p>

The Purpose of this study is to determine the Psychological and Social Impact of Covid 19 pandemic to the Teachers Effectiveness from the Ninety Four ( 94 ) Secondary Teachers of Victoria,Laguna. A questionnaire was proposed and was approved, this was administered thru google platform with the permission of the Secondary School Heads and Public District Supervisor through a formal letter to disseminate the questionnaire to the respective teacher respondents from the different Secondary Schools in Victoria, Laguna.The Questionnaire composed and based from the statement of the Problem (1) The Demographic profile of the respondents such as age,gender,status,position.(2) What are the Psychological Impact of Covid 19 pandemic to the secondary teachers in terms of anxiety,fear,stress (3) Social Impact of covid 19 pandemic to the Secondary Teachers of Victoria, Laguna in terms of responsiveness and commitment, (4) What are the impact of covid 19 pandemic to teachers effectiveness in terms of the teacher and the profession. (5)Is there a signifanct relationship between the psychological ans social impacts of covid 19 pandemic to teachers effectiveness. Qualitative Research design was used to evaluate the Psychological and Social Impact of covid 19 pandemic to teachers effectiveness. The researcher submit a formal letter to Public School District Supervisor of Victoria to ask a permision to conduct a study to her scope and also ask permission to the School Head for disseminating the questionnaires for the teacher respondents.Google form was a platform used to answered the questionnaires it was answered by the (18) teachers from Banca Banca Integrated National High School, (13) teachers from Masapang Integrated National High School,(13) teachers from Nanhaya National High School (5) teachers from San Benito National High School (21) teachers from San Francisco Integrated National High School (15) teachers from San Roque National High School and (9) teachers from Victoria Senior High School total of (94) respondent. Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusion were made, There is a significant relationship in the psychological and social impact of covid 19 Pandemic to the teachers effectiveness of secondary teachers of Victoria,Laguna. The Hypothesis stated that there is no significant differenence from the psychological and social impact to the teachers effectiveness.

Abstract Objectives: To examine the psychological and social impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated restrictions on a cohort of patients with severe and enduring mental illness treated with clozapine. Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 63 individuals attending a clozapine clinic within the Galway-Roscommon Mental Health Services to determine the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on anxiety and depressive symptoms, social and occupational functioning and quality of life, utilising Likert Scale data. The Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) were additionally utilised to measure anxiety symptoms cross-sectionally. Results: Anxiety symptoms were low with a median Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) score of 4.0 and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) score of 4.0. Likert scale measurements recorded only a modest adverse impact of COVID-19 restrictions on anxiety and depressive symptoms, quality of life and occupational and social functioning. Free-text comments from patients (n=55), were grouped into five themes (neutral impact (n=22), negative psychological impact (n=13), negative social impact (n=11), positive psychological impact (n=5), and media coverage inducing anxiety (n=4)). Conclusions: Three months into the COVID-19 pandemic and its restrictions, the impact on individuals with treatment resistant psychotic disorders attending a clozapine clinic has been modest, with preliminary evidence demonstrating minimal increases in subjective symptoms of anxiety and reduced social functioning. Reduced social engagements and supports attainable both within the community and from mental health services was noted by some participants.

Sexual abuse against minors is already one of the social ills in people’s lives. Victims of sexual abuse are often exposed in the public and even closed. The victim feels that it is something taboo and can even damage a person’s disgrace. Therefore, they need treatment from institutions that are concerned with social issues that deal with child victims of sexual abuse. This research aimed specifically to determine the impact of the case on child victims of sexual abuse through a biopsychosocial-spiritual approach and to explain the strategy model of psychosocial-spiritual treatment, together with institutional accompaniment, referring children to doctors and being accepted by children of victims of social abuse under age. The method used in this research was a qualitative descriptive study with the type of case study. The study was carried out at the Ambon City Women’s Empowerment Circle (LAPPAN). Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews and direct observations to the victims in the field and LAPPAN officials. This research shows that victims of sexual abuse occur in underage children in Ambon City aged 9 -12 and 13 -16, which have an impact on biopsychosocial-spiritual. The psychological impact is that the child feels mentally disturbed, while the social impact is related to the child’s relationship in the social environment, both at home and school. The spiritual impact makes children embarrassed to attend worship meetings in places of worship. In addition, LAPPAN provided serious assistance in reducing the psychological problems experienced by the victims.

Abstract Purpose Psoriasis is a serious health problem. Since limited research has investigated the impact of psoriasis on the quality of life of patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis, this study aimed to explore this issue. Methods A qualitative study was conducted with 22 psoriasis patients from two cities in Shandong province of eastern China participating in one-to-one semi-structured in-depth interviews. Results Thematic analysis generated five major themes: (1) Symptoms, symptoms management and pain; (2) Functioning and activities of daily living (ADLs); (3) Psychological impact; (4) Social impact; (5) Employment and finances. Conclusion Our study detailed the effects of psoriasis on patients’ symptoms, symptoms management and pain, functioning and activities of daily living (ADLs), psychological impact, social impact, employment and finances. These data can provide a reference for studying the quality of life in patients with psoriasis.

Background: Is well known that oral health and dental aesthetic have significant effects on the sociality of human beings. The aim of the present study was to assess some aspects of oral health with possible repercussions in adolescent and youth, with particular reference to gender differences. Methods: A total of 190 subjects with female prevalence (F = 62.6%, M = 37%) and ages between 14 and 29 years old (Mean = 23.8; SD = 3.27) participated. Evaluation was carried using standardized instruments to assess quality of oral life (PIDAQ), negative impact of oral conditions (OHIP-14), and self-esteem (Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale). Correlational and difference analyses and linear regressions were performed. Results: Significant gender differences were found in terms of gender, in reference to variables such as self-confidence and convictions. Positive correlations emerged between psychological impact and social impact, aesthetic concern and social impact, convictions and self-confidence, oral health with psycho-social impact, and aesthetic concern, self-esteem with oral health. Inverse correlations emerged between psycho-social impact and self-confidence, aesthetic concern and self-confidence, oral health, and self-confidence. Multivariate linear regression indicated relations between age and psychological impact, sex and self-confidence, crooked teeth and conviction. Conclusions: The impact of oral health on the psychological well-being of young people is relevant. These factors, if considered within clinical practice, can improve the quality of life of the subject.

<p><em>The teachings of Hinduism have three basic frameworks, namely tattwa (philosophy), susila (ethics) and events (ritual). The moral aspect is very important in social life because humans cannot live alone. The teaching of morality teaches the ethics of behaving as a living human being with various differences to realize a harmonious relationship with fellow human beings. This is done by the Institut Hindu Dharma Negeri Denpasar (IHDN) Institute as one of the open universities willing to accept blind students. All students, both normal and needy are considered equally entitled to get the highest education. This is an implementation of the teachings of Tat Twam Asi in Hinduism. This study uses theories such as: Functional Structural Theory used to dissect the problem in the form of the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings for blind students in IHDN Denpasar. Symbolic Interaction Theory used to dissect the problem of obstacles in the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings on blind students in IHDN Denpasar. Behaviorism Theory is used to dissect the problem of the impact of the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings on blind students in IHDN Denpasar. To get accurate data used qualitative research methods with data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. </em></p><p><em>This research found the form of implementation of Tat Twam Asi teachings on blind students in Denpasar IHDN in the form of Tri Kaya Parisudha behavior and the practice of Paramita Chess. Two forms of implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings have become the function of IHDN Denpasar as one of the Hindu state universities in preparing Hindu human resources who are not only superior in Dharma, Widya, and Culture, but also able to apply the principles of tolerance needed in group life orcommunity. </em></p><p><em>Obstacles in the implementation of Tat Twam Asi's teachings on students with visual implementasion in IHDN Denpasar consist of external barriers in the form of adjustments to the new environment, and internal barriers in the form of limitations in seeing and mentally blind students who are not confident so they become inferior. Obstacles or obstacles can be resolved through mutual understanding among the people by implementing the Tat Twam Asi teachings to overcome any obstacles. Language or symbols used to resolve obstacles must be clear in interacting. The impact of the implementation of the Tat Twam Asi teachings for students with visual impairments in IHDN Denpasar is three, namely the social impact of the formation of kinship and harmonious relations; the impact of religion with increasing religious emotion in the form of gratitude; and the ethical impact of manners, compassion, respect, and openness accept differences. </em></p>

There are several objectives of this research, namely the COVID-19 disaster to provide natural environmental learning or education to humans, including educating people in climate-friendly and low-emission behaviour, saving energy, saving water, and recognizing the ability of the universe. Another goal is to find the social, religious and psychological impact of COVID-19 that students at Ibn Khaldun University Bogor. The research method approach used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with the class leader of semester VI students. The sample was selected through a purposive technique. The results were scrutinized carefully through triangulation and source triangulation techniques. The results show that students have the view that the arrival of COVID-19 has taught humans to behave friendly to the climate because with the presence of COVID-19, students are no longer at campus, lecturers and campus officers. This method is classified as an action to reduce glass emissions as a cause of global warming. In addition, energy and water are used very little and even at the beginning of the lockdown, these natural resources were not used, thereby educating people to save energy and water through the campus. The use of energy also causes climate problems so that it can economically reduce emissions. After that, humans are taught to live cleanly because to cope with this disaster, humans must maintain the cleanliness of the environment, themselves and places of worship. Then, the COVID-19 outbreak has a social impact because students no longer have face-to-face contact with other students, disrupt religious activities such as religion and also make students psychologically stressed

The relevance of studying the impact of a pandemic on society is determined not only by medical problems, but also by social. The main purpose of the paper is to study the consequences of the pandemic in modern society with its information, cognitive-innovative, and hyperreal security. The article examines the phenomenon of the pandemic, its impact as a global threat and danger in micro-, meso-, and macrosocial structures and organizations, in state and international institutions. The pandemic becomes both a process of social freezing in the broadest sense (in the sense of any connection between people), and in the social, political, economic, and cultural context. The purpose of the study is to identify the most important factors affecting the psychological and somatic health of a person in the conditions of COVID-19. The paper presents a review of Russian and foreign studies of the psychological impact of the epidemic. The problem of the social impact of the pandemic as a global and massive threat to human relations in the information and digital world is a new phenomenon in the sociocultural space, as fear multiplies and repeats, and panic is intensified by simulations and fantasies, sometimes even more than real processes.
