AbstractToday, modern educational models are concerned with the development of the teacher-student experience and the potential opportunities it presents. User-centric analyses are useful both in terms of the socio-technical perspective on data usage within the educational domain and the positive impact that data-driven methods have. Moreover, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education and process innovation has emerged due to the strategic perspectives and the process monitoring that have shown to be missing within the traditional education curricula. This study shows that there is an unprecedented increase in the amount of text-based data in different activities within the educational processes, which can be leveraged to provide useful strategic intelligence and improvement insights. Educators can apply the resultant methods and technologies, process innovations, and contextual-based information for ample support and monitoring of the teaching-learning processes and decision making. To this effect, this paper proposes an Educational Process and Data Mining (EPDM) model that leverages the perspectives or opinions of the students to provide useful information that can be used to enhance the end-to-end processes within the educational domain. Theoretically, this study applies the model to determine how the students evaluate their teachers by considering the gender of the teachers. We analyzed the underlying patterns and determined the emotional valence of the students based on their comments in the Students Evaluation of Teaching (SET). Thus, this work implements the proposed EPDM model using SET comments captured in a setting of higher education.

The article describes the role of the Internet in the modern information society. The negative consequences of the openness of this information and telecommunications network are studied. The paper also substantiates the consequences of the activities of anonymous users who commit offenses. The authors consider the experience of combating fake news in developed countries (Great Britain, Germany, France) and emerging markets (Brazil, Venezuela, Egypt, Qatar, China, Singapore, Turkey). Special attention is paid to such a new phenomenon in the field of spreading false information as "deepfakes". As a result of a comparative legal analysis of regulation in the field of countering the publication of information that does not correspond to reality in online publications, it is concluded that many countries have realized the importance of the threat of spreading fake news. Foreign legislation is formed from the point of view of creating preventive measures in the field of dissemination of unreliable socially significant information. In addition, the authors of the study noted that the adoption of legal measures to combat the spread of fake news at the national level helps to minimize the negative socially significant consequences of the activities of offenders. From this point of view, these actions are absolutely justified and have a positive impact on the regulation of public relations on the Internet.

Austria continues to be one of the most attractive countries for asylum seekers among all EU countries. The main objective of this paper is to identify how the current political status of refugees and asylum seekers influences the Austrian economy. This study has shown that oil shocks had highly negative consequences for migrants in Austria. When accessing the Austrian labor market, some of the most striking features that affect the participation of migrants are discrimination based on restricted accessibility to high-wage sectors and pay gaps and discrimination in recruitment. However, the econometric analysis shows that immigration flows have a positive effect on the economic growth of the country. On the other hand, the results showed that there was prejudice and incorrect reporting, which increased the illegalization of asylum seekers. All of these factors create obstacles for immigrants to properly integrate into the labor market. However, the results of the panel data analysis among European countries has shown that the immigration flow has had a positive impact on GDP growth. Labor market conditions for immigrants become crucial from this point of view. It can be concluded that the national asylum policy in Austria was progressively limiting and outweighed Austrian humanitarian interests. A more inclusive policy could contribute to the economic growth of the country.

In the context of digitalization of all spheres of everyday, industrial and public life, higher and secondary vocational education have the opportunity to move to a new level using modern information and communication technologies and involve the largest possible student audience into the learning process. Experience in the field of distance learning over the past decades shows that this form of educational process organization has a number of advantages over traditional forms of training. Among these advantages are democracy, lower cost of training, the opportunity to participate in the educational process in conditions of territorial separation, combining training with other types of activities, etc. At the same time, in the process of distance learning, the teacher and students also face a number of problems associated with the lack of the possibility of personal and emotional non-verbal contacts, when communication "person-person" is replaced by communication "person-computer". In the context of the forced transition of all higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation to distance learning due to a difficult epidemic situation, it became possible to assess the advantages and disadvantages of this form of training from the point of view of full-time students who had no previous experience of on-line education. A comparative analysis of the opinions of first-year students of the Ural State University of Economics and the college of this university shows that the respondents named the main advantages of distance learning a greater freedom in conducting classes in the absence of constant control and the possibility of combining education with other activities. The main disadvantages are the lack of feedback from the teacher due to distancing, as well as technical problems. The lack of emotional contact with educators was found to be a more serious problem for college students than for university students. It can be concluded that distance learning is more in line with the needs and capabilities of adult learners, and specific forms of organizing classes need to be adapted to the conditions of a specific audience.

The article presents an analysis of the pedagogical capabilities of social networks in solving modern educational problems. The pedagogical potential of teacher's personal page can influence on individualization of the educational process, selection of the content of education, organization of pedagogical communication, involvement in activities. The author describes and analyzes the experience of interacting with students on the social network platform, which confirms the positive impact of the communication with the teacher through a social network on students' attitude to the subject and educational motivation. The restrictions of the use of teachers' personal pages in the process of education are connected with increased requirements to the content and design of a personal page. Possible negative consequences of interacting with students through social networks include non-compliance with the boundaries and blurring the boundaries of communication, the interpenetration of professional and personal spheres of life.

Aim: The purpose of the paper is presentation of a French body - Autorité de la concurrence - responsible for protecting competition. The paper will discuss its role, characteristic features and judiciary instruments available to the body. Furthermore, the aim of the paper is to place the above-mentioned body of the French economic administration in the pan-European system for protecting competition and pinpointing the competition policy mechanisms it uses. It is essential to analyse available legislation which applies to the institution. Design / Research methods: The core research method applied in the paper is a formal and dogmatic method which allows for identifying the content of applicable legal standards (including the rights and obligations of the body described in the paper and the entities administered by the body) as well as the rules (presented from the point of view of directives and/or with their description) which form the basis for the standards. In addition, the functional analysis method used to analyse how law works in practice was also used. Sources of French law and literature on the competition law were also analysed. Conclusions / findings: The author concluded that the complexity of economic mechanisms requires an extended and transparent system for maintaining correct operation of the competition protecting authorities and bodies in France. He believes that it is one of the foundations of a contemporary democratic state of law which guarantees delivery on the principles of legality and economic freedom. It was demonstrated that the mechanisms available to the French Competition Office comply with the European competition law and may have a positive impact on entrepreneurs' behaviour on the market. Originality / value of the article: The author believes that the topic of the paper is pertinent and original. So far, only few representatives of the public commercial law doctrine devoted their thoughts to the operation of the European competition bodies. What is more, conclusions from the paper may offer some suggestions to the Polish legislator who may adapt solutions used in French law and create a model of competition and sectoral regulation bodies. Implications of the research: An analysis of French legal standards may contribute to continuing research in the commercial administration and to the application of a comparative method in order to formulate some interesting conclusions. In addition, it may also encourage Polish researchers to take up the topic related to the operation of competition bodies also in other EU states.

The article examines the development of the agro-industrial complex in Russia from the point of view of the foreign trade aspect, the production aspect and the consumer aspect. By means of comparative analysis and calculation of differentiation coefficients, the degree of difference in the development of the regional agro-industrial complex in conditions of sanctions pressure is characterized. Tracking the dynamics of changes in the studied indicators made it possible to identify the positive impact of sanctions, which for most regions is expressed in a real decrease in dependence on imports of agricultural products due to a consistently implemented import substitution strategy, as well as their negative consequences, which are manifested, in particular, at the consumption level.
