This study aims to perceive the social development of  children aged 4-5 years with school refusal. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. Data analysis is conducted through three stages: data reduction, display data, and conclusions: drawing/verifying. The participants of this study are 4 children aged 4-5 years. The results of this study indicated that 1) The behavior captured on school refusal in children aged  4-5 year olds consisted of refusing to go to school, having absent for several days, and having difficulties in learning or making friends. There was a difference in school refusal for boys and girls. Boys  are more dominantly having school refusal than girls. 2) The social development of children’s school refusal especially on the self-awareness aspect are: the children’s lack of confidence and they need help to understand the rules and be discipline. In the sense of responsibility to theirself and others, they need a assist to share, support and help friends. In the aspect of child’s prosocial behavior, they require a help to get along with their friends, less appreciate the friends’ work, and do not show their empathy. Furthermore, it has been found the differences of social development on school refusal children between men and women. It has been revealed that boys tend to be less independent, not confident, unfrriendly, and less appreciate their friends’ work. Moreover, girls are more independent, showing confidence, willing to play with friends, and appreciate friends’ help.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan sosial anak school refusal usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode deskriptif. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan: data reduction, data display, dan conclusions: drawing/verifying. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 4 anak usia 4-5 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Gambaran school refusal anak usia 4-5 tahun terdiri dari menolak berangkat sekolah, absen sekolah selama beberapa hari, dan kesulitan belajar atau bergaul. Ditemukan perbedaan school refusal anak laki-laki dan anak perempuan. Anak laki-laki lebih mengalami school refusal daripada anak perempuan. 2) Perkembangan sosial anak school refusal yaitu pada aspek kesadaran diri anak kurang percaya diri dan membutuhkan bantuan untuk memahami peraturan dan disiplin. Pada aspek rasa tanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri dan orang lain membutuhkan bantuan untuk berbagi, menolong dan membantu teman. Pada aspek perilaku prososial anak membutuhkan bantuan untuk bergaul dengan teman, kurang menghargai karya teman, dan tidak menunjukkan empati. Ditemukan perbedaan perkembangan sosial anak school refusal antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Terlihat anak laki-laki cenderung kurang mandiri, tidak percaya diri, menyendiri, dan kurang menghargai teman. Anak perempuan lebih mandiri, menunjukkan percaya diri, mau bermain bersama teman, dan mau menghargai teman dengan bantuan.

This study aims to investigate the financial management and strategies deployed by Rumah Pintar (Rumpin) BAZNAS Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta to improve the quality of education. Employing a qualitative approach, the data of this research is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data display and data verification. The results show that financial resources of Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan are obtained from zakat through BAZNAS Center and through the allocation of costs in Rumpin that has increased from year to year. The improved allocation of costs were caused by the increasing need for services requested by the service recipients (mustahik). The result of the cost improvement is the increasing quality of education and  services. It can be seen from the achievements obtained by Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan which won number of awards such as the Best Rumpin in center development under the category of Non-Departmental body;  received award of pustaka bakti tama penggerak buku (books reader movement for literary devotion) and several training certificates that can be used to find a job.

Potensi konflik sosial di masyarakat diakibatkan oleh keberagaman dan perbedaan suku, agama, ras, dan golongan. Melalui sudut pandang gerakan sosial, Jamaah Maiyah di forum Mocopat Syafaat memperlihatkan adanya resolusi konflik dalam masyarakat. Peneliti bertujuan untuk melihat bentuk inisiasi dan efektifitas Jamaah Maiyah di forum Mocopat Syafaat dalam upayanya mengurangi potensi konflik tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan observasi partisipatif untuk melihat fenomena Jamaah Maiyah secara langsung. Data hasil wawancara diperoleh dari informan utama dan pendukung dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif melalui tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi data, tampilan data, dan gambaran kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bentuk inisiasi yang dilakukan Jamaah Maiyah adalah dengan melakukan diskusi rutin dalam forum pengajian Mocopat Syafaat. Konsep ‘Sinau Bareng’ dalam Maiyah merupakan perspektif untuk saling bertukar pikiran yang berdampak terhadap perubahan perilaku individu. Keberadaan Jamaah Maiyah secara efektif mampu meresolusi konflik berdasarkan aspek tujuan, integrasi, dan adaptasinya. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa Jamaah Maiyah merupakan gerakan sosial alternatif. The potential of social conflict in society will always exist due to diversity and differences in ethnic, religion, race, and groups. The point of view of the social movement, Jamaah Maiyah in the Mocopat Syafaat forum shows the existence of conflict resolution in society. The purpose is to see the form of initiation and effectiveness in reducing the potential of conflict. This research uses qualitative methods and participatory observation approaches, to see the Jamaah Maiyah phenomenon. Interview data were obtained from the main and supporting informants by using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used an interactive model through three stages; namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results showed that the form of initiation carried out by Jamaah Maiyah was conducting regular discussions in the Mocopat Syafaat forum. The concept of 'Sinau Bareng' in Maiyah is a perspective for exchanging ideas that have an impact to changes individual behavior. The existence of Jamaah Maiyah was effective able to resolve conflicts based on aspects of purpose, integration and adaptation. This also proves that Jamaah Maiyah is an alternative social movement.

This study aims to describe the symptoms of over protective foster behsvior towards the social development of children in islamic kindergartens Khaira Ummah Ikur Koto Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive study methods. The researcher uses parents and teachers as informants. How to use the date used by researchers is observasi, interviews, and documentation. Based one the descriptive and data analysis, it can be concluded that the research shows that parents provide parenting patterns that tend to be over protective of their children. This is indicated by the form of protective provided by parents to their children, and does not provide an opportunity for children to be able to do it themselves. The over protective parenting has an impact on children’s social development, namely children are difficult to adapt to the new environment, prefer to play alone, and result in children not being independent.

This article discusses social development by the community carried out by Paguyuban Jamu Gendong Lestari in Kuningan Barat Village, Mampang Prapatan Subdistrict, South Jakarta through the creative economy sector, namely jamu gendong business as a culinary sub-sector based on culture and local wisdom. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive types. The results show that the Paguyuban Jamu Gendong Lestari as a community that runs a business in the creative economy, namely jamu as an Indonesian cultural heritage has succeeded in carrying out the social development process based on seven characteristics of social development. The social development strategy that is carried out is a social development strategy by the community through which the members of the Paguyuban Jamu Gendong Lestari are members who work together harmoniously to meet their needs, solve their problems and try to create opportunities to improve lives through the management of jamu businesses.AbtrakArtikel ini membahas mengenai pembangunan sosial oleh masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Paguyuban Jamu Gendong Lestari di Kelurahan Kuningan Barat Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan Jakarta Selatan melalui budaya dan kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Paguyuban Jamu Gendong Lestari sebagai komunitas yang menjalankan usaha di bidang ekonomi kreatif yaitu jamu sebagai warisan budaya Indonesia telah berhasil melakukan proses pembangunan sosial berdasarkan tujuh karakteristik pembangunan sosial. Strategi pembangunan sosial yang dijalankanadalah strategi pembangunan sosial oleh masyarakat melalui wadah Paguyuban Jamu Gendong Lestari. Masyarakat yang menjadi anggota saling bekerja sama secara harmonis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mereka, memecahkan masalah mereka dan berupaya menciptakan kesempatan guna memperbaiki hidup melalui pengelolaan usaha jamu gendong.

The low interest in reading our society greatly affects the quality of the Indonesian nation, because with the low interest in reading it cannot know and follow the development of science and information in the world. With the library, it can give students an "opiate taste" and bring about new habits, namely reading. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The research location which is the main focus in collecting data is SD Negeri 1 in Pamengkang village, located in Mundu District, Cirebon Regency. Primary data is data obtained directly from informants such as school principals, teachers, students, and library staff. Secondary data used such as school archives, and other documents that can support the completeness of primary data. Data collection techniques is a way that researchers do in obtaining data. As for this study researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of the study show that the Utilization of School Libraries in Increasing Interest in Reading in SDN 1 Pamengkang, Mundu District, Cirebon Regency has carried out several efforts, but it has not yet run as expected, due to several factors, namely the state of the library, both from collections, facilities, and also not having librarians, so the library walk improperly following the existing path. Keywords: utilization; library; interest in reading Abstrak Rendahnya minat baca masyarakat kita sangat mempengaruhi kualitas bangsa Indonesia, sebab dengan rendahnya minat baca maka tidak bisa mengetahui dan mengikuti perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan informasi di dunia. Dengan adanya perpustakaan dapat memberikan “rasa candu” pada peserta didik dan memunculkan new habits yakni membaca. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian yang menjadi fokus utama dalam mengumpulkan data adalah di SD Negeri 1 di desa Pamengkang yang terletak di Kecamatan Mundu Kabupaten Cirebon.  Data primer adalah data yang diperoleh langsung dari informan seperti kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan tenaga perpustakaan. Data sekunder yang digunakan seperti seperti arsip-arsip sekolah, serta dokumen lainnya yang dapat menunjang kelengkapan dari data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data merupakan cara yang dilakukan peneliti dalam memperoleh data. Adapun dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Upaya Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Minat Baca di SDN 1 Pamengkang Kecamatan Mundu Kabupaten Cirebon sudah menjalankan beberapa upaya akan tetapi belum berjalan sesuai harapan, disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu keadaan perpustakan baik dari koleksi, sarana, dan juga belum mempunyai pustakawan sehingga perpustakaan berjalan seadanya mengikuti alur yang ada.  Kata Kunci: pemanfaatan; perpustakaan; minat baca

As the world is entering society 5.0 era, pesantren must be aware of its challenges to maintain its existence as the oldest educational institution. This study aims to determine the challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools in the era of community revolution 5.0. This research is preliminary qualitative research to analyze various literature on Islamic boarding schools’ crucial issues in society 5.0 era. The data obtained in the study were collected through documentation techniques which were then tested using source triangulation techniques. The data analysis was through three stages, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that Islamic boarding schools in the 5.0 era must face contemporary challenges that are in line with the development of science and technology, namely having the ability for morals implanting, technology-based pesantren systems, digital literacy and digital ethics. If this ability can be realized and developed, the pesantren’s existence can be maintained and accepted by the community 5.0.

With the construction of tourist attractions will have an impact on the economic and social community. This study aims to describe the impact of tourism on the economy and society. The research method used to answer these problems is to use a descriptive qualitative approach. Data obtained using observation and interviews, while data analysis three stages, namely data reduction, data display and verification. The results of the study show that the village tourism in chocolate has animpact on the economy and society.</em></p>

The aim of this research is to explore the strengths and weaknesses of teaching speaking by using LMS-Edmodo based on the teacher’s perceptions. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach that involved one teacher as a participant. Observation, documentation, and interview are three kinds of instruments which were applied to this research. The data were collected by using three stages of qualitative analysis (Miles & Huberman, 1994), which were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Based on the teacher’s perception, the strengths of teaching speaking by using Edmodo are its economy, privacy, simplicity, and flexibility. On the other hand, time-consuming, harm to the teacher’s health, slow loading if The aim of this research is to explore the strengths and weaknesses of teaching speaking by using LMS-Edmodo based on the teacher’s perceptions. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach that involved one teacher as a participant. Observation, documentation, and interview are three kinds of instruments which were applied to this research. The data were collected by using three stages of qualitative analysis (Miles & Huberman, 1994), which were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. One of the processes of word formation is reduplication which words or morphemes are repeated. This study focuses on reduplication in Jamee language. This descriptive qualitative study aims at finding out forms of reduplication and the meaning contained in the reduplication in Jamee. The data were collected through ethnographic interview by recording ten native speakers of the Jamee language who live in Labuhanhaji sub-district, South Aceh. They were chosen through purposive sampling. A total of 261 reduplication words were obtained during the interviews, and they were analysed using three stages; data reduction, data display and data verification. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there are four types of reduplication in the Jamee language: full reduplication, partial reduplication, lexicalized reduplication, and affixed reduplication. The study also shows that reduplication in Jamee language can be in the forms of verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and pronominals. Despite previous studies show that there is no infix in the Jamee language, hence it does occur in this study even though it is rarely used in this language. It is assumed that it may have come into the language through the borrowing from Bahasa Indonesia.
