The relatively hereditary character of diverse cultural phenomena has already drawn attention to the role that the family can play in this trans mission. It appears in particular that political orientations and the chances of access to different types and levels of education can frequently be explained by a specific family membership. Two types of argument are put forward here in order to explain how the family can appear as a privileged place of cultural apprenticeship: on the one hand psychological arguments linked with the primary and universal character of family education and the type of relations that this develops; on the other hand a more sociological explanation based on the repercussion that the more or less great complexity of learned language entails with regard to diverse exterior participations, and on the comparison between the impact of the family and those of other socializing agents on the successive choices which they will impose. To these explanatory elements of the existing link between cultural memberships and the family environment is added, for religion as much as for the family, the transition from the public to the private sphere. This parallel evolution will tend to increase the autonomy of religion on the plane of secondary elaborations for which it will borrow its mode of re-interpretation from the exigencies of daily life, particularly from the family.

Objective: This study aims to ascertain whether there were differences in family environment among patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder. Method: The records of 233 patients, selected for high or low scores on a scale that taps ADHD symptoms, were reviewed by three clinicians who made DSM-IV diagnoses and rated the family environment with the Global Family Environment Scale (GFES). Self-report data obtained from the parent and child versions of the Child Behaviour Checklist were also used. The quality of the family environment was then compared between the various diagnostic groups. Results: A poorer family environment was associated with conduct disorder and oppositional defiant disorder and predicted a worse outcome (e.g. admission to a non-psychiatric institution, drug and alcohol abuse). Quality of the family environment did not vary according to ADHD diagnosis or gender. Conclusions: There seems to be no association between the quality of the family environment and a diagnosis of ADHD among referred adolescents. However, there is an association with conduct disorder. Interventions that improve family environment in the early years of life may prevent the development of conduct problems.

Family environment appears to be an important determinant of friendship quality. Despite this apparent link, few studies have explored how family environment relates to friendship, especially among college students. The present study examined the relationship between family environment and best friendships, by administering the Family Environment Scale (FES) and the Acquaintance Description Form—Revised (ADF-F2) to 408 college students. Family environment was a better predictor of friendship quality for female college students than for male college students. For the women, a total of 13% of the FES and ADF-F2 correlations were significant at the p < .01 level. The best predictors of friendship quality for the women were the FES active recreational and intellectual—cultural dimensions. Gender differences were also evident in students' perceptions of their families' environments and their views of the quality of their best friendships. Implications of the present study for college adjustment and retention are discussed.

Thus, the identification of environmental risk factors and delayed neurodevelopment, coupled with early intervention, are essential for an healthy development. Objective: To analyze the effect of environmental factors on the neuropsychomotor development of children in the Amazon community. Methods: This is a quantitative and qualitative study of analytical and cross-sectional approach with 50 children between 24 and 36 months of age, of both sexes, living in an Amazonian community. Two types of the socio-economic-environmental questionnaire were used; a) Infant/Toddler (IT) HOME Inventory to analyze the quality of the family environment; b) the Denver Screening Test II for screening neurodevelopment. Also, a descriptive analysis was performed using a calculation of means and standard deviations. Results: The study found that a significant majority of the children had normal neuropsychomotor development; however, children classified as delayed, the more significant impact variable in the development was the quality of the family environment, which in turn was influenced by the lower economic class, lack of water treatment, lack of electricity and external toilet. Conclusion: Environmental factors were not significant on the neuropsychomotor development of the local children of the Amazon community.

Early experience, forms of behaviour that parents expressed towards a child and the family environment in which a child grew up have a significant effect on the formulation of attitudes, needs and interests that later on influence professional orientation and the choice of occupation (Roe, 1956).The research was conducted on a sample of 448 students from 6 different faculties and attempt to examine the possible connection between the quality of family relationships of the student and  his/her professional interests, evaluated through education type, i.e. through selection of the field of study.  The quality of family relationships were operationalized by the Family quality of interactions scale - KOBI (Vulić - Prtorić, 2004).The results indicated differences in the expression of family dimensions between students of different faculties. The students of detached, technical sciences have a weaker feeling of having their mother’s acceptance, while the individuals from the group of students with the strongest feeling of rejection from both parents choose the field of psychology for their studies. Our results indicate the existence of differences between the subsamples of students in their experience of the family that go beyond gender differences, and suggest the need for further, more detailed research which could discover deeper, inner initiators that guide an individual’s choice of profession.

The Marriage Guidance and Conservation Advisory Board (BP4) is a semi-official body or institution whose task is to assist the Ministry of Religion in improving the quality of marriage by developing a sakinah family movement and religious education in the family environment. The Marriage Guidance and Conservation Advisory Board (BP4) is one of the institutions that provide guidance and insight into marital issues to the public. By paying attention to the duties of the Marriage Guidance and Conservation Advisory Board (BP4), information on the role of the advisory body in contributing to marital matters will be obtained. As explained in Article 1 of the Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974 stated that marriage is an inner bond between a man and a woman as a husband and wife with the aim of forming a happy family (eternal) based on the Godhead of God Almighty, so that the purpose of the law is not enough to just bond , but must include both. Therefore, marriage is carried out bysomeone who is old enough no matter the profession, ethnicity, wealth, place of residence and so on. Everyone who is going to get married doesn't all understand the nature of marriage and the purpose of marriage is to get true happiness in the household. Marriage is not just a gathering of two people on one roof then gets offspring, not for a while but for a lifetime. To realize a prosperous and peaceful society, it must begin with family coaching first. If all families who are members of the community are prosperous, then the community will be happy. The family is the smallest element of a society, while a family is formed through marriage. Marriage is a means to form a household as a bond that is recognized by the community where they live as a legitimate husband and wife.
