The study was aimed to investigate the perceptions of male and female teachers about organizational culture of Paragon City School System Lahore. Teachers who were taught students of grade 4-12 were the population of this study. Sample was comprised of 171 teachers selected through census sampling technique. 43 teachers were male and 128 teachers were female in the sample. A Likert type instrument was developed in which 13 statements were related to tacit assumption, 10 statements with values and 9 statements were relevant to the norms. Reliability of the instrument items was 0.818 which showed that the questionnaire was accurate. Findings of the study indicated that male and female teachers have differences of opinions regarding human nature, human relationships, openness, intimacy, teamwork, support colleagues, and students’ help, is being valued in DHA school system in Lahore. Whereas no significant difference regarding truth and reality, trust, cooperation, criticism on principal, and handling discipline, between male and female teachers. It is recommended that principal would create a school culture where discipline handling, criticism on principal, cooperation and trust between teachers may develop.

Job satisfaction is a feeling of pride and worker success on the job. It is generally perceived to be directly related to both profitability and personal wellbeing. This study aimed to discover teachers’ perceptions about their job satisfaction based on the demographic characteristics of gender at private sector universities in Lahore district, Pakistan. The population of study consisted of all faculty members of all the private universities situated in district Lahore.  Sample comprised 300 Lecturers, Assistant Professors, and Associate Professors selected through proportionate stratified random sampling technique.  Proportion of male and female teachers was 179 and 129 respectively. A Likert type instrument was developed having 28 statements which were related to the factors of job satisfaction opportunity, organization, safety security, pay, working condition, policies practices, relationship with coworkers, relationship with supervisors, working environment, stress and work load. Reliability of the instrument was 0.781 which showed that the questionnaire was accurate. Findings of the study showed that male and female teachers had perceived equally towards all factors of job satisfaction, whereas no significant difference was found regarding opportunity, organization, pay, working condition, policies and practices, and relationship with coworkers between male and female teachers. It is recommended that universities, administrators, educational consultants, deans of universities should use strategic action for producing and sustaining job satisfaction among university teachers.

This is an attempt to investigate the teaching competencies of commerce teacher trainees. The main objectives of the study is find out whether there is any significant difference in the teaching competencies of commerce teacher trainees in respect of their gender, age, and medium studied. Sample of 200 B.Ed. trainees were selected by using purposive sampling technique. It is found that teacher trainees have low teaching competencies. It is revealed that there is significant difference in mean teaching competency scores of male and female, English and Malayalam medium teacher trainees. This study also revealed that there is no significant difference in mean teaching competency scores of trainees who are less than 22 years of age and above 22 years of the age group.

The aim of the research is to investigate that emotional intelligence and self-esteem in male and female school students. The present research design is research cross sectional design.  Sample contained 200 students (100 =male, 100= female)   (mean age = 14.16, SD = 0.740) all belonging to the upper, middle and lower Scio economic status. Whole sample was collected from different schools of Karachi, Pakistan with the help of convenient sampling technique. First, the confidentiality about the participants demographic information was assured after that about the purpose and procedure of research explained to participants. The participants who given consent of participation in research, the demographic form, Urdu version of Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965), and Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TEIQue) (K.V. Petrides) were administered on them. Statistical Analysis (t-Test for independent) applied to assess the difference of emotional intelligence and self esteem among male and female.The results reveals there is significant difference among emotional intelligence of male and female school students (t (198) = 6.597, P< .05) and there is also significant difference in self esteem of male and female school students (t (198) = 2.837, P< .05).

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify whether there are differences in self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students. This study is a comparative study with a sample of 796 students (452 males, 344 females). The sample selection is taken using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is the scale of self-regulation of emotion. Data analysis used to identify differences in self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students is independent samples test. The findings of the study indicate that there is a significant difference between the self-regulation of emotion skills of male and female students. This study recommends counseling service to improve self-regulation of emotion skills.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat perbedaan self-regulation of emotion antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian komparatif dengan sampel 796 siswa (452 laki-laki, 344 perempuan). Pemilihan sampel diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self-regulation of emotion. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan adalah independent samples test. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara self-regulation of emotion siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Studi ini merekomendasikan layanan konseling untuk meningkatkan self-regulation of emotion siswa.

This research aimed to identify differences in problem solving skill between male and female students. The research subjects were 50 students (21 male and 29 female) who were taken by random sampling technique from two high schools in Malang. The research instrument was adapted from problem solving instruments of Maries & Singh (2018). The data was analyzed by statistic descriptive and Kruskall Wallis test (p-value <0.05). The results showed that overall, there was no significant difference between male and female students (p-value>0.05). However male students performed better than female students on preparing the action (p-value<0.05). The results of this research can be a consideration and input for practitioners of education to improve the quality of education, especially in Indonesia.

The study took place in Southwest Nigeria and assessed the gender differentials on the challenges of land acquisition among male and female arable crop farmers. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 168 male arable crop farmers and 168 female arable crop farmers to make a total of 336 respondents. Analysis of the quantitative data was done using descriptive and inferential statistics, while content analysis was used to analyze the qualitative data. The results show that male and female arable crop farmers faced the challenges of high population of land users, inadequate credit facilities to acquire land, family dispute on land, poor soil fertility and high costs of rent in acquiring land, while female arable crop farmers faced the challenge of spouse restriction in acquiring land. There was a significant difference between male and female arable crop farmers’ challenges of land acquisition. It was concluded that male, as well as female, arable crop farmers in the study area face one challenge or the other in acquiring land for arable crop production, but female arable crop farmers face more challenges compared to their male counterparts. Gender-responsive policy formulation and implementation was recommended to ease access to land for male and female arable crop farmers.

Anxiety is an unpleasant emotion that is characterized by worry and fear. A lot of subject matter is memorized and learning tends to be boring make students suppressed and can cause anxiety to accumulate during exams. This study aims to analyzed exam anxiety among vocational school students in professional placement based on male and female, and identify the differences exam anxiety among vocational school students in professional placement based on gender. This research is quantitative research with descriptive and comparative methods. With a sample of 115 students using a proportional random sampling technique. Data obtained by providing instrument kecemasan siswa dalam menghadapi ujian praktik kejuruan. Data were analyzed descriptively by determining the mean, standard deviation and percentage. To see the difference in anxiety among vocational school students in professional placement based on male and female was used the t-test technique with analyze Independent Samples Test. The results showed that exam anxiety among vocational school students in professional placement of male students was generally in the low category and exam anxiety among vocational school students in professional placement of female students was generally in the high category and there was a significant difference between the exam anxiety among vocational school students in professional placement of male and female students. This research shows the need for efforts to reduce exam anxiety among vocational school students in professional placement of students so that students can exam effectively.

Teachers have a pivotal role in our education system. However, inefficiency in teachers can affect the very foundation of this education system and which in turn will lead to the downfall of society and the nation. It is well said that the quality of education depends on the quality of teachers, so it is essential to prepare a quality teacher. As the teacher acts as transmitter of knowledge, motivator, and manager so it is dire need to train the prospective teacher in Life skills.  According to WHO life skills have been defined as “the abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enables individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life”. The  present study include ten Life skills as suggested by WHO i.e. Self-awareness skill, Interpersonal skill, Effective Communication skill, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Coping with Stress, Coping with Emotion, and Empathy. A descriptive survey method is used for this study. The data of 100 pre-service teachers in which 40 female and 60 male pre-service teachers, were collected by random cluster sampling technique from two B.Ed. colleges of Ghaziabad affiliated to C.C.S. University Meerut in Ghaziabad district. Moreover, t-test is used as a statistical technique to compare the life skills between male and female pre-service teachers. However, the investigator found no significant difference between the male and female pre-service teachers in their Life Skills.

The purpose of the present research was to study the application of qualitative management techniques in administrative and academic decision making at higher secondary level in Punjab. The present study was a kind of exploratory and descriptive research. By using stratified random sampling technique, (197) principals of public higher secondary schools were selected as a sample. A self developed questionnaire was used to collect data. Data were analyzed by performing independent sample t-test. The findings of the study showed that there was no significant difference between over all male and female Principals extent of the use of qualitative decision making techniques in planning, directing and as well as in administrative and academic decision making process. However, there found to be difference between over all male and female Principals extent of the use of qualitative decision making techniques in organizing process. Training may be launched to improve the use of decision making techniques.
