Introduction: Antenatal Care (ANC) is an effort to detect the occurrence of high risk in pregnant women. However, ANC non-compliance was still found due to several factors. Aim of study: This study aims to determine factors that influence ANC visits to ANC behavior at Puskesmas Pasar Rebo East Jakarta. Method: This study used a descriptive correlation design with a cross-sectional survey. Data analysis used Spearman's rho with 117 respondents. Results and Discussion: The results showed that there are some factors that influence ANC visits to ANC behavior, including age with a correlation value (r = 0.419), a p-value of 0.000; education with a correlation value (r = 0.425), p-value of 0.000; jobs with a correlation value (r = 0.279), p-value of 0.002; income with a correlation value (r = 0.407), p-value of 0.000; knowledge with a correlation value (r = 0.409), p-value of 0.000; husband / family support with a correlation value (r = 0.417), p-value of 0.000; attitude with a correlation value (r = 0.597), p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Irregularity in carrying out ANC has a bad impact on pregnant women because they are not aware of the risk factors that may occur to the mother and her fetus and can not be detected early on the disease suffered by pregnant women. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is nurses as health workers need to increase their role as educators and health care provider to pregnant women and their families about the importance of ANC to reduce maternal mortality and monitor the state of the fetus.

The results of evaluation program by The Way Kanan Health Department in late 2013 shows 47 cases of death among toddlers, 7 cases of malnutrition, 2 cases of paralysis with withered body. This might have been an indication of the presence of under-performing servants in health care units. Two of the many factors influencing their performance are leadership and motivation. This study aims to analyse the influence of servant leadership and motivation on the general performance of a health care unit in Way Kanan Regency, Lampung, Indonesia. Cross sectional approach and survey analysis method were used. 122 officers of Baradatu Health Care Unit and Pisang Baru Health Care Unit 122 people were taken as the population. The result shows significant relationship between servant leadership and motivation to the performance (p <0.05). The servant leadership variable has got the greatest influence on the accuracy of clinical decision making than the professional knowledge and behaviour with OR = 4,476. It is suggested that the District Health Office of Way Kanan Regency create: a model of servant leadership as an alternative to the existing leadership models, tighten the control on the program, and conduct more training to improve the quality of human resources and their performance at the health care units. Keywords: servant leadership, motivation, performance..

Quality of care plays an important role in the status of tuberculosis (TB) control, by influencing timely diagnosis, treatment adherence, and treatment completion. In this study, we aimed at establishing the quality of TB service care in Kamuli district health care centres using Donabedian structure, process, and outcomes model of health care. A cross-sectional study was conducted in 8 health care facilities, among 20 health care workers and 392 patients. Data was obtained using face-to-face interviews, an observation guide, a check list, and record review of the TB unit and laboratory registers. Data entry and analysis were done using EPI INFO 2008 and STATA 10 versions, respectively. A high number 150 (87.21%) of TB patients were not aware of all the signs to stop TB medication, and 100 (25.51%) patients received laboratory results after a period of 3–5 working days. The major challenges faced by health workers were poor attitude of fellow health workers, patients defaulting treatment, and fear of being infected with TB. One of the worst performance indicators was low percentage of cure. Comprehensive strengthening of the health system focusing on quality of support supervisions, patient follow up, promoting infection control measures, and increasing health staffing levels at health facilities is crucial.
