This study aims to develop animation media using Macromedia flash based on the conceptual understanding of the subject of rectangle and rectangle. The research and development method used is 4D model proposed by Thiagarajan consisting of 4 stages, namely: (1) define; (2) design; (3) develop and (4) disseminate. Researchers use data collection techniques is a questionnaire in the form of Likert scale for the response of learners. The result of the research is the animation media using Macromedia flash based on the concept of the subject of rectangular and rectangle that is suitable for learning media. The feasibility of learning media obtained from the validation of material experts with an average score of 3.40 is categorized valid and validation of media experts with an average score of 3.32 are categorized as valid. Student response to learning media obtained in small group test is very interesting with an average score of 3.64. In the large group, test obtained criteria attractiveness is very interesting with an average score of 3.47.

This research and development was conducted to produce exercise model of softball batting based on drill for beginner athletes by testing the effectiveness of softball batting training for beginner athletes. The development method used took the steps of Borg and Gall. To support data to be more valid, the process of analyzing data collection used observation, interviews, and tests. The batting exercise model was designed by combining drill-based training activities. After that the model item design was validated by 3 experts in their field, 1 softball lecturer, 1 softball coach, and 1 motor expert. The study involved 20 athletes consisting of 3 softball clubs in Medan. Increasing battingsoftball training during the pre-test showed t-count = -21,225, df = 19 and p-value = 0,00 <0,05, meaning that there were significant differences in softball batting training model before and after being given a training model. It could be concluded that the model of training developed effectively to enhance batting exercises developed was effective for enhancing batting exercises for beginner athletes.

In phonology, students will be familiar with phonetics which is specifically emphasize phonetics’ articulation and the sound. This study used Research and Development method. Researchers developed Interactive Multimedia Power Point Presentation (IMPPT) which can be used to teach phonetics. There are some stages done to develop IMPPT. Those stages are need analysis, data collection, product design and validation, and product testing. Product testing was also carried out as a consideration for the next steps. If the result was not satisfied, the researcher revised the design to obtain the final product. There were three aspects concerned as criteria of IMPPT, namely visual aspect, audio aspect, and material aspect. Those three aspects were validated based on assessment rubrics made by researcher. The range in the rubric is 1-5. The visual aspect showed the highest percentage, in which it was 35%. The second highest percentage was audio aspect. In material aspect, the total score was 23 (32%).

The purpose of this paper was to study the level of awareness among housewives about environmental education. For this task review of existing literature was carried out. Being descriptive study, survey method was adopted for data collection. A group of 50 housewives from Bahawalnagar District of Division Bahawalpur was recognized as sample to accomplish the study. Closed ended questionnaire for housewives were developed on Likert scale and data was collected. Data collected through questionnaire was tabulated, analysis and discussed. The analysis was arranged on the basis of respondents and the housewives’ opinions were analyzed. The result from the findings of this study showed that active learning of the housewives has appeared with the expansion of their actions in the Green Future. With the presence at the Eco conductors Training course as an opening, they come to join in the Eco conducting Activity and developed Green Future into an essential association connected to the eco-environment in the society. Their Eco-conducting movement was based on the outcome of knowledge from the teaching courses, in which the accessible expert in Eco conducting skilled them. At the end some recommendations were made to improve housewives’ skills and awareness about environmental education.

This research and development aims to determine the feasibility level of the material in the traditional early childhood crank game media. The media development method used in this development was adapted from the Thiagarajan 4-D development model. Data collection techniques from the results of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The results of the validation carried out by two material experts are as follows: 1) Conformity with Basic Competence (KD) is 4 with 80% eligibility criteria. 2) Learning aspect is 3.6 with 72% eligibility criteria. 3) Material presentation is 4 with 80% eligibility. So it can be concluded that the material on the traditional crank game media "WORTH" to be presented.

This study describes the process of designing, manufacturing and the performance of Do It Yourself (DIY) electrodes for Soil Resitivity Measurement (SRM) practicum in the Geophysical Geology course. The aim is to produce electrodes that can be used with the Geo Tester tool from the Fluke 1623. The method used was the Research and Development method. the required electrode had been analyzed prior to the idea of making make your own electrode was created. The electrodes were designed in such a way as to consider the level of accuracy, convenience, safety and economics. The results showed that the DIY electrode was made well, the limited trial of data collection using the Schlumberger and Wenner configuration methods resulted in data error values of 2.43% and 4.1%, respectively. The results were much smaller than the accepted minimum error threshold, namely 20%. The validation results from DIY electrode users (Data Collection Team) and Earth Physicist lecturers gave an average rating of 3.8 out of a scale 4. Thus, DIY eceltrodes can be used in practical for Geophysical Geology lectures in the Earth and Space Laboratory

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of learning media book summarizationof physics-based smartphone applications for the achievement of learning elasticity in class XI SMA N 2Lubuklinggau. This research uses two methods of development method (research and development) andquasi-experimental method (quasi-experimental design). Development method using ADDIE developmenton analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The place of study was conducted in SMAN 2 Kota Lubuklinggau with a sample of 64 students, divided into two experimental classes and controlclass. The objective test was used for data collection in this study. The test is given twice before treatmentand after treatment. The analysis test used parametric statistic with a t-test. The result of the research showsthat there is an increase of learning achievement in the experimental class that shows the minimumcompleteness criteria (KKM) which reaches the learning completeness 93,75% and the learningcompleteness improvement is 75,00% from the pretest value of 18,75%.

This study aims to determine the results of valid puzzle media development and the feasibility of developing practical puzzle media on temperature and heat material. In this study, the authors chose a puzzle with Microsoft PowerPoint as a tool to develop a medium. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. With the Thiagarajan 4D model, namely defining, designing, and developing this research only goes through 3 stages up to the develop stage. The instrument used was a validation sheet which was analyzed using a Likert scale. Data collection techniques are observation, material and media expert validation sheets and teacher practicality sheets. The results showed that according to the expert the material was in a very valid category with a good predicate of 95.8% with improvement results. It's worth using. The validation result according to media experts is 90% with a good predicate is very valid, while the practicality or teacher response is 77.5% with a good predicate very feasible.
