Abstract ?é?á Teaching mathematics for kindergarten and elementary students will be successful if the teaching learning process has a lot of interesting and exciting activities towards to students. Team of community service tries to give them the alternative method in order to make students more interested in joining the lesson. Using visual aids is the best way in transferring knowledge to understand mathematics easily. This training was given to the mathematics teachers of kindergarten and elementary in how to design some materials using animation and how to make interactive tests. The aim of this training was to equip the mathematics teachers to be able to use the CD animation and interactive tests related to their?é?á?é?á mathematic materials. The animation made was about playing and calculating by using PowerPoint Application 2007. By having this method, it is expected that mathematics teachers will be able to explore the lesson using it effectively and creatively. ?é?á Key words: mathematic, CD animation, interactive tests

Abstract There are still a few handouts created by the teachers. In fact, teachers feel lazy to make a handout to succeed their teaching and learning process, especially civic teachers who are still low in understanding how to make and design their own handout. A handout is an instrument that teachers supposed to writing it. By writing a handout, teacher can explore his material based on the problems faced in the class. That is way; the Team thought that we need to give them something to train them in writing their own teaching handout. This community service was given to civic teachers of senior high school who has the important role in tranfering knowledge about civic subject. This activity had some sessions, there were; lecturing, discussion, questions answer and feedback. It hopes that by understanding the way in designing a teaching handout, they will be encouraged to make their own handout to support their teaching learning process in the classroom. ?é?á Key words : a teaching handout, a civic subject ?é?á

The discussion on English vocabulary teaching is not a new thing, especially when it is about the technique and method used in the teaching-learning process. The purpose of this paper is to disseminate the result of community service experience in teaching vocabulary for elementary students by using thematic songs. This activity is conducted to different grade students that belong to a reading community called Taman Baca Masyarakat Kudi that is located in one of Banyumas subdistricts. The use of songs is in accordance with our community service purpose that is to motivate the students that English is fun to learn. Teaching vocabulary especially to young learners should be fun and and the teacher should avoid monotonous activities. However, some teachers are still stuck in the convensional method, for example by asking students to memorize a stack of vocabulary items without taking into account student’s boredom in doing such task. Makalah ini bertujuan menyebarkan pengalaman dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam mengajarkan kosa kata dengan menggunakan lagu-lagu bertema untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Aktivitas ini dilaksanakan dalam sekelompok siswa sekolah dasar yang berasal dari kelas berbeda yang tergabung dalam komunitas baca bernama Taman Baca Masyarakat Kudi yang terletak di salah satu kecamatan Banyumas. Penggunaan lagu sesuai dengan tujuan pelayanan masyarakat kita, yaitu untuk memotivasi siswa bahwa bahasa Inggris itu menyenangkan untuk dipelajari. Lagu dianggap efektif untuk digunakan dalam mengajar anak-anak karena bisa memicu kreativitas dan rasa ingin tahu anak-anak terutama dalam kaitannya dengan proses pemerolehan kosakata.Kata kunci: pengajaran, kosakata, lagu tematik, bahasa Inggris

In accordance with the vision of Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang as excellent campus in 2025 and excellent in education field in 2020, it is obviously important to do some actions. One of the ways is improving education quality through e-learning. The aims of this community service are 1) giving knowledge what kinds of application which can be applied in teaching learning process, 2) training the students in making Edmodo account, 3)knowing the students responses toward the use of Edmodo in teaching learning process. Method used in this activity is training. The steps were 1) introduced application that can be alternative media in teaching learning process, 2) introduced Edmodo  as media, 3)workshop in making and joining group class, 4) simulation the use of Edmodo in small class and 5) evaluation. The finding of this activity was 85% students having good sense in applying Edmodo at class and Emodo is ready to be applied in class.

This study examines ways of improving Arabic's teaching and learning process by applying YouTube video clips as audio-visual aids. Eighteen Arabic students in Kaduna State College of Education and Kwara State University constituted the study sample. A descriptive method with Pre-test and Post-test was conducted. Data were collected through the essay writing, translation, and structure test. The data were analyzed through the descriptive statistics of frequency (f) and percentage (%). The study findings revealed that the subjects performed better and demonstrated linguistic communicative competence in Arabic. Finally, the study recommends that YouTube videos should be integrated into the Arabic teaching-learning process.

In this article, we present 2 technology-involved tasks that we use in our mathematics pedagogy courses to ostensibly give preservice secondary mathematics teachers (PSMTs) sample activities they can use in their teaching or use to assess their own future students' ability to apply trigonometric functions in contextual situations using technology. However, we have two other purposes for posing these tasks. One purpose is to provide occasions for PSMTs to self-assess their mathematical and technology knowledge, and subsequently take action to learn mathematics and technology features. The other purpose is to use such tasks as springboards for substantive discussions about teaching, learning, technology, and assessment. Such simulation tasks have engaged PSMTs and helped them develop their knowledge base for teaching mathematics.

Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Matematika SMK, yang merupakan forum profesionalisme untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan kinerja guru matematika SMK. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah; (1) meningkatkan peran dan fungsi MGMP Matematika SMK kabupaten Malang dalam memperbaiki kompetensi dan kinerja guru matematika SMK, (2) meningkatkan pemahaman guru matematika SMK terhadap langkah-langkah pembuatan e-modul dan (3) meningkatkan ketrampilan pembuatan e-modul matematika SMK bagi guru matematika SMK Kabupaten Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah; (1) pendampingan kepada pengurus MGMP untuk mengkaji ulang program kerja yang sudah ditentukan, (2) mengadakan workshop pembuatan modul matematika SMK , (3) pelatihan dan pendampingan secara berkelompok kepada guru matematika SMK pada proses kepenulisan modul matematika SMK, (4) Workshop pembuatan e-modul matematika SMK, dan (5) desiminasi e-modul matematika SMK oleh guru matematika SMK Kabupaten. Hasil yang dicapai adalah peningkatan kualitas pertemuan MGMP Matematika SMK Kabupaten Malang dan peningkatan ketrampilan pembuatan e-modul Matematika SMK bagi gurunya. Produk yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah e-modul matematika SMKKata Kunci: MGMP Matematika SMK, Guru Matematika SMK, pembuatan e-modul matematika SMK Abstract. The community service program was conducted to the Vocational School Mathematics Teachers’ Forum (MGMP), a professionalism forum for elevating the competence and performance of the vocational school teachers teaching Mathematics. The program was aimed at: (1) improving the roles and functions of the Vocational School Mathematics Teachers’ Forum in Malang Regency, (2) enhancing vocational school Mathematics teachers’ understanding of the procedures of creating Mathematics e-modules, and (3) upgrading the vocational school Mathematics teachers’ skills in creating their Mathematics e-modules. The methods applied were: (1) mentoring the committees of the teachers’ forum in reviewing their work plans, (2) conducting a writing vocational school Mathematics module workshop, (3) training and mentoring the vocational school Mathematics teachers in writing their Mathematics modules in groups, (4) conducting a workshop of creating vocational school Mathematics e-modules, and (5) disseminating the Mathematics e-modules by vocational school Mathematics teachers in Malang Regency. The results of the program were the quality improvement of Mathematics teachers’ forum’s meetings and the writing Mathematics e-module skills’ improvement of the Mathematics teachers in Malang Regency. English is an international language and plays a pivotal role in our education system that is why different methods are used for English language teaching learning process at primary level to improve learning teaching process, that is why the present study was conducted to highlight the audio-visual aids’ role in process of teaching learning at the level of primary education. All the teachers and head teachers of Southern Districts Primary schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were study population. The study sample consisted of 100 head-teachers (50 female and 50 male) and 300 teachers (150 males & 150 females). By nature, the study was survey, researcher developed personally instrument to collect data from respondents and thus analyzed, tabulated, and construed the data in the light of study objectives. The statistical tools like mean and SD were used for data analysis. The present study highlighted that audio visual aids make the learners able learn English language easily and in an interested way.

TK Islam Al-Ghaffar adalah salah satu TK yang berada di Desa Mulyoagung Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang Jawa Timur, terbatasnya APE yang ada disekolah menjadikan permasalahan tersendiri dalam proses belajar mengajar, sehingga siswa kerap kali diajarkan dengan menggunakan buku paket yang telah di sediakan oleh sekolah. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa kurang antusias dalam mempelajari hal baru karena dianggap kurang menarik dan menyenangkan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan dan pelatihan pembuatan Busy Book sebagai media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan topik dan usia anak TK. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: pertama, Pemberian pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang pentingnya media dan penerapannya dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kedua, pengenalan Busy Book sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam kelas, dan yang terakhir workshop pembuatan Busy Book beserta penentuan langkah-langkah pembelajaran dalam kelas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru memiliki wawasan tentang pentingnya media pembelajaran bagi siswa sesuai dengan usianya. Kedua, guru juga mampu membuat dan mengembangkan ide mereka menjadi sebuah kegiatan siswa berdasarkan tema dalam Busy Book. Dari hasil evaluasi pada akhir kegiatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan abdimas berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses, semua peserta mengikuti kegiatan dengan baik sampai kegiatan berakhir.TK Islam Al-Ghaffar is a school located in Mulyoagung, Dau, Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Limited media is the main problem in the teaching-learning process. Teachers ever use the package book in teaching their students so that the students think that the process of learning was not fun, and they cannot enjoy, were not enthusiastic in learning new things. This community service aimed was to train teachers in making Busy Book as media, and the contents were suited to the topic and the students’ age. The method applied in this community service were; first, introduce the teachers the importance of media in the teaching-learning process. Second, introduce Busy Book as a media in teaching young learners, and the last is a workshop in making Busy Book and the way in teaching. The result of this activity is that the teachers had insight into the importance of learning media based on their age. Besides, teachers were also able to make and develop their ideas into Busy Book or student activities based on a theme. From the results of the evaluation at the end of the activity, it can be concluded that the community service went smoothly and successfully. It can be indicated that all participants followed the whole activity.

Essence and necessity to make the teaching-learning process more innovative, scientific and students' centred have become main aim and objective of present day education system. A large number of methods are being used in teaching-learning process. The audio visual aids are being increasingly used since these involve both audio (verbal) as well as visual way of teaching. Several researches have been proved that the ability to recall is high with teaching using audio visual aids. Selection of appropriate media of teaching is one of the smart and important steps of teaching students of different levels and domains. Several media of audio visual aids are being practisized such as overhead projector (OHP), power point presentation (PPT), white or black board teaching and flip charts etc. These media have merits as well as demerits. There are key techniques to make them more effective. The audio visual aids help in consolidation of long term memories of learnt information. Logical use of different types of media simultaneously during teaching can be more beneficial for the learners in many ways.
