The model of a modern University is characterized by the formalization of its activities within the framework of implementing specific educational programs through the educational process and focusing on the final result in the form of a competitive specialist. As a result, the universal values, the spirit of participation in the acquisition of new knowledge, which were present in previous generations of universities, are leveled. However, the students’ needs in their personal development remain at the present time. This leads to the search for new forms and the use of new technologies to meet this need. Based on the research, the authors propose a Lectures model as one of these forms, which includes scientific and methodological, practice-oriented and personal-development components. This is where the spirit of the University as an element of Higher education, the tasks of the University as an educational organization to train competitive specialists and the needs of the individual in self-development can be realized. Considering the development of information and educational technologies, it is necessary to apply them actively in the already available instruments of the Higher School. The educational process should become interesting, interactive, covering various aspects of the studied disciplines as much as possible. But at the same time, the educational process should not lose its main purpose - the formation of new knowledge and the upbringing of a socially active and positive personality. Taking into account the development of science and technology it is these two components that the Lectures are directed towards.

The article deals with the issues of an individual’s professional development at the stage of professional training at a university. It is noted that being responsible is a vital principle and a professionally important quality of a teacher. The study aims to identify the characteristics of the professional development of students with low and high indicators of “responsibility”, which reflect the level of social maturity of the individual. Low indicators of “responsibility” characterize a person as “frivolous” who is guided by momentary motives rather than by a sense of duty in his decisions and actions. Often such a person does not take some situations that require a mature approach seriously. High values characterize a person as independent and ready to take responsibility for their decisions and actions. The students of the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University branch in the city of Nizhny Tagil testing results, carried out using the computer diagnostic complex “Profkaryera”, are presented. It is statistically confirmed that students with low indicators of “responsibility” are more inclined to communicative and innovative activities; they should develop self-organization and emotional regulation skills. Students with high scores of “responsibility” are more inclined to administrative and analytical activities; they are encouraged to master time management techniques and develop the ability to manage other people.

For a long time, the primary approach to assessment was the normative approach when the individual achievements of students were compared with a particular norm (the results of most students). Recently, domestic pedagogical research has been developing a criteria-based approach to assessing academic achievement when students' achievements are compared with the amount of knowledge that needs to be acquired at a particular stage of training. This study aimed to determine the role of criteria-based assessment in the formation of students functional literacy in computer science and to build a criteria-based assessment model in the development of functional literacy beyond to demonstrate the effectiveness of the methods of formation of students functional literacy in computer science. The leading research methods were the criteria-based assessment methodology developed by the authors and the method of formative assessment. Some elements of the methodology of forming evaluation were considered. For further development of the methods for the formation of students functional literacy in computer science, a criteria-based assessment model has been built. The introduction of criteria-based assessment will allow to switch to a formative evaluation aimed at developing student competence. The evaluation, consisting of criteria that a student understands, stimulates him and makes the learning process meaningful. Based on practical experiments and the proposed criteria-based assessment, the effectiveness of methods for the formation of students functional literacy in computer science has been proved.

Introduction. Qualitative changes in the perception of fiction by schoolchildren of different ages pose the task of methodologists to define the concept of "literary development" and its criteria, which to a large extent should determine the direction and methods of studying artistic works. The methods. Definition of the concept of "literary development" and its criteria, which to a large extent should determine the direction and methods of studying artistic works. Results. Need form validation that would test both knowledge and skills, and yet would contain clear criteria for assessing knowledge and skills of students with different level of training, would be consistent with the concept of school literary education and educational standards in the literature, including "Requirements to level of preparation of students". The main school should form an understanding of the specific laws of literature and the nature of its impact on the reader. In grades 5–9, there is a "systematic accumulation of information and ideas related to the generic, genre and stylistic specifics of literature". A graduate of a basic school should become a reader capable of "artistic perception, their own reflections, experiences, associations". The level of literary development of schoolchildren is closely related to their philological abilities, age and individual characteristics, and the effectiveness of educational activities. The most important quality of the reader – the need to Express a feeling, idea, thought in the word, "germination" words in visual, auditory, and other associations, emotional sensitivity to the word, intonation and style of speech, a holistic attitude to the literary work, a General look at its architecture, the conceptual perception of the composition. Originality. The content of literary education of high school students in accordance with these criteria allows us to speak about their readiness for independent re- search work in literature lessons. Conclusion. The level of literary development of schoolchildren is closely related to their philological abili- ties, age and individual characteristics, and the effectiveness of educational activities. The article deals with the problem of organizing independent work of students. The methodology of using the organizational management model, its essence, and main advantages in the modular training system are revealed. Individualization of the content of the modular system in accordance with the real needs of each student is a consistent program of self-development. An individual project was proposed, which was formed on the basis of establishing the actual level of knowledge, and skills in a certain field of activity or, if necessary, the development of specific personal qualities. The implementation of the managerial principle of obligation depends on the level of formation of such an important quality of the subject of management as «ability to self-manage». Violation of this principle leads to non-fulfillment of an individual plan, and, as a result, the appearens of the sense of dissatisfaction and the decrease in student activity. The student must learn to change the entire hierarchy of forms of their own activity consciously and purposefully: communication, behavior, activities and experiences. Students were assisted in improving their ability to manage themselves, starting at the stage where the student showed the more sustained interest. The introduction of operational models of operational management makes it possible to reflect the objectivity of the assessment of all types of educational activities, which foreses the creation of conditions under which the existing knowledge and skills are identified as accurately as possible.

The dynamic nature of the changes taking place in all spheres of modern society puts forward fundamentally new requirements for the professional training of specialists. Today, we need a specialist who not only has a certain amount of knowledge and skills, but is able to quickly navigate and rebuild their activities in constantly changing conditions, competitive, mobile, and ready for constant self-improvement. The training of such a specialist is possible only if there are certain conditions in the educational process to ensure the quality of training, one of which is the level of professional competence of the teacher organizing the training process.
