The article is devoted to the search for effective methods of organizing the educational process within the training of future specialists in road transport, which ensures their professional and personal development. It is noted that the problem of formation of professional competence of future road transport specialists in higher education institutions is relevant now in pedagogical science, but scientists have not formed practical directions for implementing the developed theories in the whole process of their professional development. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the process of forming the professional competence of future road transport specialists, a system has been developed that includes the integration of knowledge from the disciplines of general technical and professional cycles, which is implemented in leading higher education institutions of Ukraine. The methodological basis for the implementation of the system of formation of professional competence of future road transport specialists are the conceptual provisions of the competence, system, acmeological and synergetic approaches. The developed system of formation of professional competence of future specialists of motor transport covers the basic scientific and theoretical approaches of modern pedagogical science, first of all on the basis of the competence approach as one of strategic directions of the state policy in the field of education.

Training teachers is an important task of modern pedagogy and requires new approaches to the organization of the educational process. The use of information and communication technologies for the purpose of forming the information competence of the future vocational teacher is an important element of the formation of his professional competence. The article describes the stages of conducting a pedagogical experiment to develop the information competence of a future teacher of vocational training in domestic higher education institutions. The organization and methodology of the experimental study are described in detail, its results are given, the methods of diagnostics are described and so on.

The prerequisite for ensuring the professional training of masters in the specialty "The Primary Education" in Ukraine is the formation of their professional competence to teach in the higher education institutions. After all, in addition to qualifying as a primary school teacher, they are also qualified as the teacher of pedagogy. Accordingly, the preparation of the modern primary school teacher requires the organization of the educational process in higher education on a scientific humanistic basis which provides purposeful systematic provision of psychological and pedagogical training of scientific and pedagogical staff for the higher education institutions of different levels of accreditation for their interaction with students. This article summarizes the author's experience of studying the teaching methods of the disciplines "Fundamentals of Pedagogy", "Didactics", "Theory and Methods of Education", "Socio-pedagogical Fundamentals of Educational Management" and "History of Pedagogy". In particular, theoretical and aspects of students' methodical activity are revealed: active listening, participation in dialogue and discussion during lectures, observation of pedagogical classes from different sections (basics of pedagogy, didactics, theory of education, history of pedagogy), development of the text of lectures on separate topics, micro-teaching and analysis of pedagogical situations, their modeling, execution of creative tasks, production of visual material. Preparation of the masters for teaching of pedagogical disciplines in the institutions of higher pedagogical education facilitates their mastery of the basic concepts and categories of pedagogy, historical aspects of the formation of pedagogy as a science, current trends in education; the content of pedagogical disciplines in the institutions of higher pedagogical education; features of the education process, its regularities and principles, the methods and organizational forms, etc. Also, in the process of studying the methodology of teaching pedagogical disciplines, the masters have the ability to prepare curricula for disciplines; to plan and conduct various types of training (lectures, seminars and practical classes); to control and diagnose students' educational achievements; to organize various types of cognitive work with students, etc.

The article talks about the postmodern approach to studying the problem of reflexive competence of future specialists, requires a comprehensive analysis of the organization and content of the educational process in higher education institutions. The postmodern concept of professional reflection and personal reflexivity of students is highlighted, it determines the ratio of these formations as unique individual phenomena, their influence on the formation and manifestation of professional and professional competence at the creative-professional, cognitive and personal-motivational levels. The concept of reflectivity of the future specialist is specified. The structure of professional reflection of students is specified. The value of pedagogical practice for the development of professional reflection in future professionals from the standpoint of the postmodern approach is emphasized. The model of formation and development of personal-professional reflectivity in future specialists at the competence, cognitive, personal-motivational, emotional and evaluative-behavioral levels is presented.

The article is devoted to the study of competitiveness management and higher education institutions, the study of factors influencing its formation, and the development of a mechanism for managing the competitiveness of higher education institutions, taking into account management approaches and competitiveness factors. The main theoretical approaches to the determining of the category "competitiveness of higher education" were considered and analyzed. It is substantiated that higher education institutions of Ukraine operate in difficult conditions of uncertainty, which implies constant adaptation to the challenges of the external environment. Higher education institutions are increasingly applying the principles of management and development that exist in business organizations, thus adapting to market conditions. In the coming years in the market of educational services of Ukraine, the decrease in the number of free educational institutions and the number of applicants for higher education will continue. These trends dictate the need to form an effective system for managing the competitiveness of higher education institutions in the market of educational services. The classification of factors of competitiveness of higher education institutions on various grounds has been developed. Managing the competitiveness of higher education institutions is seen as an activity aimed at forming a number of management decisions, which, in turn, should be aimed at resisting external influences to achieve leadership in accordance with the strategic goal. Strategic competitiveness management of higher education institutions is based on the principles of strategic management, scientific approaches to competitiveness management and should be aimed at creating sustainable competitive advantages related to the market situation of educational services, development of innovative components of the educational process, efficient use of all available resources. Effective organizational and managerial structure of the institution of higher education has been proposed.

The gradual process of reforming educational activities lays new demands on education in the higher education system of Ukraine, and therefore there is a need to improve the methodology of teaching any discipline, to continuously monitor the quality of applicants’ educational success, as well as to apply the competence-based approach to education, in general. The article determines the relevance of the study of the educational process optimization in higher education institutions (HEI), including mastering modern principles of teaching Graphic disciplines the creation of which contributes to the active formation of professional competence of students majoring in artistic and architectural specialties. The process of education in HEI is known to be a significant factor in the socialization of a personality, since in addition to acquiring new knowledge and professional competences, it also promotes self-education and self-realization in future life. The authors reveal the peculiarities, technological means and methods of teaching Graphic disciplines and organization of the educational process for freshman and sophomore students of art-related HEI. There is a need to increase the efficiency not only of classroom contact hours, but also of the extracurricular work. This requires that teachers should constantly search for new ways and approaches that could facilitate mastering of educational material. The model of the educational process for near future is one of the directions determining the improvement of the whole education system and involves this type of training, which is characterized by a considerable amount of independent work, which also requires a sufficiently high level of stable skills of individual graphic competence. In this regard, the formation of students’ motivation and interest throughout the educational process in HEI, the recognition of the necessity to obtain a quality graphic education, which is the key to success in their future professional activity, are of great importance.

The article analyzes the problems of formation of professional competence of future philologists by means of computer oriented technologies in terms of introduction of computer-based education in higher education institutions (HEI). Author determined a model of future philologists professional competence formation by means of computer-oriented information and communication technologies (ICT); singled structural components of the model of professional competence of future philologists formed by means of computer oriented ICT (target, content, technical, productive) and revealed their relationship to the specific future linguists’ careers; proved the thesis that the studied problem is of particular importance because of the necessity of informatization of higher education and usage the computer-oriented ICT in the educational process of the university.

The modernization of education emphasizes the importance of training highly professional specialists in the field of computer science. In this regard, the formation of professional competencies of future game project engineers in higher education institutions at the bachelor's level acquires special knowledge. The article considers the theoretical foundations of the formation of professional competencies of future engineers of game projects, conducted a theoretical analysis of psychological and pedagogical sources on the research problem. Some aspects of the formation of professional competence of future professionals, which requires extensive use in the educational process of higher education technologies that help attract future engineers of game projects to acquire and manage knowledge, gain experience in solving professional problems, implementation of game projects. Analysis of data on swimming training and determination of system components allow to assert the need to do appropriate methodical support. Purpose: to generalize the content of the basic methodical provisions of swimming training for integration into the education system of students higher education institutions. Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization, study of documentary materials, system analysis. Results. It is recommended to division of classes into the following types: training, training-game, game, individual training, control, mass bathing. This step is done for providing methodically correct swimming training. Significant experience in the implementation of swimming training tasks for different groups of population is defined by the availability of thorough information of educational and methodical nature. The issue of swimming training as an integral part of personal development has received considerable attention since the middle of the twentieth century. In the sequence of training, in addition of stages, it is necessary to provide the degree of assimilation educational material. In general, we can offer a scheme in the form of "new element - development - consolidation - control - a new element." In the educational process, it is recommended to form at students a sufficient arsenal of specific swimming actions. There was identified need to combine technical exercises into complexes defined by target installations. Changing the speed of movement, tempo-rhythmic execution of movements (in full coordination or different biolanks) are regulators for observance of methodical tasks. Conclusions. The generalization of scientific and methodical literature gives us reason to assert the existence of an extremely large number of information sources on swimming training for different groups of the population. In order to avoid duplication of fundamental approaches to swimming training and adhering to the paradigm of this process in the methodical component should focus on the content of successive tasks of different individual and motivational levels of the swimming training system for students. To swimming training of student youth and maintain content priorities, it is necessary to focus on achieving a certain level of skill in accordance with the goals of a certain individual and motivational level of classes. The basic prerequisites are the laying the broad technical base, which provides mastering and improvement different ways of swimming techniques and gradual increase of physical fitness and improvement of the physical qualities development.

The Future

The article investigates the phenomenon of professional training of the future engineer-teacher of food profile for the formation of sanitary and hygienic culture in professional activity. The structural components are highlighted and their content is analysed: motivational, cognitive (knowledge of conceptual and terminological culture, awareness of methods and means of forming a professional sanitary and hygienic culture of a food engineer-teacher, etc.), activity (ability to organize and form a sanitary and hygienic culture; ability to increase students’ level of sanitary and hygienic culture, etc.).The current stage of development of the higher education system places high demands on the professional and personal qualities of a scientific and pedagogical worker. Implementation of the main tasks of the National Strategy for Education Development in Ukraine requires further improvement of higher education institutions, in particular: introduction of a multi-level education system compatible with the European one; ensuring the fairness and transparency of entrance examinations; creation of innovative structures in higher education institutions; development of international cooperation in the field of education and science; reorientation of the higher education system to the development of competencies specific to the number of specializations during practice and further additional education.Society places new demands on the future engineer-teacher of food profile, who must have deep moral values, a clear civic position, a system of values and beliefs, be ready for creative development and self-improvement and carry out professional activities at a high level. Therefore, in addition to the formation of a harmoniously developed personality, it is necessary to pay attention to the formation of professional competence of the future specialist in the food industry. This need can be realized through the introduction of conceptual approaches to vocational training, retraining and advanced training of teachers for the system of vocational education, the main of which are updating the goals and content of vocational engineering and pedagogical education based on activity approach and personal orientation, updating the competency paradigm taking into account the international experience for the integration of the educational space in accordance with European requirements. The article is devoted to the analysis of the thematic direction of the scientific literature on the formation of professional competence of future chemical engineers in higher education institutions of both domestic researchers and researchers from other countries (monographs, dissertation research); the classification of dissertation researches directions on the formation of professional competence of future chemical engineers in institutions of higher education is given; the necessity of further thorough researches of scientists on the issues of formation of professional competence of future chemical engineers in higher education institutions is proved. Promising areas of professional competence of future chemical engineers in higher education are use of international experience in the formation of professional competence and training of future chemical engineers in higher education in the educational process.
