the article points out that the scientific problem of training leaders in higher education institutions is aimed at developing new theoretical, methodological and practical principles that reflect the basic patterns of formation of leadership potential of future professionals. It is stated that the use of leadership potential and the implementation of leadership, which will significantly improve the effectiveness of solving difficult situations, will encourage effective interaction of all its participants. The focus is on the fact that the education system in the process of targeted leadership training should pay attention not only to the formation of the necessary set of knowledge and skills, but also to the development of future leaders' ability to influence people and inspire them to dream, learn and work more. The need to further study the phenomenon of spiritual leadership in modern science to improve the training of future professionals in institutions of higher education.

the growth of the need for social production in the leaders due to the dynamic development of industry and the acceleration of the cycle of aging and technological change is justified. It is shown that the organization of training of these leaders and the new humanitarian and technical elite should be carried out in higher education institutions of engineering profile. It is proved that in order to qualitatively train the elite and leaders as real carriers and organizers of scientific, technical and social progress in the conditions of formation of industry 4.0 it is extremely necessary to pass to education 4.0.

based on regulatory and archival documents analysis, the article considers the problem-solving experience when opening noble gymnasiums’ boarding schools in the Kiev educational district curator’s council activities. The Council’s position on this issue, the procedure for making and executing its decisions are clarified on the example of opening the second boarding school at the first Kiev gymnasium in 1836. Thoroughly analysing the state of affairs of the already-performing noble boarding school at the first Kiev gymnasium, Kiev educational district curator’s council members came to the conclusion that one more boarding school opening was necessary. They either approved of the staff developed by the educational district curator, and made proposals on sources of its initial arrangement funding. It is established that the opinion of Kiev educational district curator’s council regarding the second noble boarding school opening at the first Kyiv gymnasium was taken into account by the Ministry of public education when making the final decision.

the article is devoted to the problem of rising up the level of quality of training of future military specialists of various specialties of the security, protection and defense sector under the conditions of educational transformations. The analysis of literary sources allows to establish, that the processes of Euro-Atlantic integration cover more and more spheres of vital activity of our state and relate to the educational sphere. During the process of the study it was found that modernization of educational activity takes place in the context of European requirements, principles and standards of NATO member states. The article states a number of factors, which determine the need of solving the problem of rising up the quality of training of military specialists of different specialties. The analysis of scientific research devoted to different issues of organization of military education and training of military staff to professional activity. The positions of the concept of innovative-strategic direction of training of future military specialists of various specialties of the security protection and defense sector are revealed.

the article reveals the concept of leadership position of the future specialist in the context of his connections with personal qualities. The latest research on the topic of leadership is considered. It is specified that the leadership position of the future specialist is a personal education that includes awareness of the future specialist’s readiness to play the role of leader and ability to organizational influence on the production team, it is based on leadership potential and is formed in the process of mastering leadership in various life situations, including conditions of the professional sphere. The results of the study of the leadership position of future specialists in various professional fields are presented. It is determined that most future professionals are characterized by the presence of personal traits necessary for the development of leadership, but their experience in the process of education does not allow to try on the role of leader, which negatively affects their motivation to develop leadership.

the essence of such notions as “gender”, “gender symmetry”, “self-actuation”, is disclosed in the article; the gender equality implementation in the military environment, in women’s mastering the extremely hazardous professions and their self-fulfilment in this activity area is described; it is proved that the work on I-concept has facilitated (both males and females) to learn seeing their goals, to plan and attain tangible results in training and profession activities in the course of performing their duties; to understand their selves, their abilities and limitations, to learn manifesting their aptitudes and develop them actively, that is to work on fulfilment of their professional and life plans, therefore actuating themselves in future.

the article addresses the subject of usage of immersive technologies for the education of Bachelors of Arts in Oriental languages. Various aspects of application of virtual and augmented realities for Oriental language studies by students are considered. Authors suggest main classifications of types of augmented and virtual reality tools for understanding the principles and features of their use in the educational process, in particular for learning of Japanese language. Article contains analysis of research materials by scientists and their main results concerning the selection and application of immersive technologies for teaching students of philological faculties of higher education institutions in Oriental languages. The advantages of usage of immersive technologies for training future Bachelors of Arts in Oriental languages, in particular focusing on Japanese language, are determined and substantiated.

the article reveals the meaning of the concept of soft skills, their role and significance for professional development and career growth. Based on the analysis of the Professional Standard for the professions “Primary school teacher”, “General secondary school teacher”, “Primary school teacher” (with a diploma of junior specialist) (identified a list of flexible skills that must have a modern teacher. Emphasis is placed on the importance of developing soft skills in applicants for higher pedagogical education at the stage of their professional training. Based on the study of educational programs for higher education at the bachelor’s level in specialties 013 Primary education, 014 Secondary education (by subject specialization) the ways of their formation in the educational process are determined. The curriculum of the elective discipline of the general cycle of training “Coaching technologies in education” has been developed and tested as an additional resource for the formation of future teachers’ communication skills, leadership competencies, self-management skills, intellectual skills.

the essence of such concepts as “position”, “leader”, “leadership”, “leadership position” is revealed in the article, based on the analysis of the scientific literature it is proved that most of the works of scientists are devoted to the study of leadership as such, to the working out the approaches to the formation and development of leadership qualities, the author’s interpretation of the essence of the leadership position of future specialists in public management and administration is given, which is seen as a synergy of their personal, professional, civic qualities, actions and deeds aimed at implementing their main mission, that is readiness to ensure constructive interaction of public authorities, education, science, business and civil society.
