ABSTRACT Background: In addition to unsuccessful policies to prepare communities for disaster reduction, the high risk of earthquakes and their harmful consequences indicate that more consideration should be given to social factors in this regard. All community shelters are vulnerable to disasters, especially children, so efforts are needed to determine disaster preparedness factors for elementary school students in Denpasar City. This study aimed to analyzed of earthquake preparedness measures in students at elementary school, Denpasar, Bali. Subjects and Methods: This was a descriptive study conducted at an elementary school in Denpasar from January to September. A sample of 350 elementary school students in Denpasar whose schools have a disaster preparedness school (SSB) program selected by purposive sampling. The inclusion criteria were elementary school students grades 5 and 6 in Denpasar City, who can read fluently and are willing to be research respondents. The exclusion criteria were respondents who refused to be research subjects. The data were collected by 40 questions, where knowledge was 10 items, attitude was 10 items, facilities and infrastructure were 10 items, and IEC was 10 items. The data was analyzed by descriptively Results: The preparedness factors of elementary school students in facing earthquake disasters were still low. There were five earthquake preparedness factors for elementary students in Denpasar, namely (1) experience, (2) knowledge, (3) attitude, (4) facilities and (5) infrastructure, and IEC. The dominant knowledge variable of elementary school students is less than 233 (63.7%), the prevalent attitude variable is negative 244 (64%), the prevalent facilities and infrastructure variable are less than 215 (61.4%), and 300 (85.7%) dominant information and education communication. Conclusion: It is essential to be able to improve these preparedness factors with a variety of continuous education and training for elementary students, and health workers should work together with regional disaster management agency to establish disaster prepared schools in Denpasar City. The research reveals a profile of reflective thinking of elementary school students in problem solving fractions based on his mathematical abilities. The instruments used in data collection is Test Problem Solving (TPM), interview. Selection of research subjects in a way given test is based on the ability of mathematics, namely mathematical skills of high, medium and low and further categorized and taken at least 2 people to serve as subjects. The research objective is: describe the profile of reflective thinking that math skills of elementary school students High, medium, and low. Based on the results of the study found reflective thinking profile and high ability students were as follows: (a) the step to understand the problems students have information/knowledge or data that is used to respond, comes from inside (internal) and can explain what has been done; (B) the planned step problem solving students have information/knowledge or data that is used to respond, comes from inside (internal) and can explain what has been done; (C) on measures to implement the plan in terms of information/knowledge or data used by students to respond, comes from inside (internal), could explain what has been done, realized the error and fix it, and communicate ideas with a symbol or image, and (d) the checking step back, namely information/knowledge or data that is used by students to respond, comes from inside (internal) and can explain what has been done. Profile of reflective thinking ability students lowly mathematics, namely: (a) at the stage of understanding the problem, students can determine known and asked in the problem, but the students' difficulties to explain the identification of the facts that have been done, the students explained the understanding vocabulary, and feel of existing data the matter is enough; (B) at the stage of implementing the plan, the students explained, organize and represent data on the issue, describes how to select the operation in solving a problem though students are not sure, and students' difficulty in explaining what he had done; (C) at the stage of implementing the plan, the student has information on calculation skills although the answer is not correct. Students difficulty in explaining about the skills calculations have been done, trying to communicate their ideas in the form of symbols or images, even if students rather difficult to describe, and realized there was an error when using a calculation skills and improve it; (D) at the stage of check, students' difficulties in explaining whether obtained estimates it approached, it makes senseKeywords: reflective thinking, problem solving, fractions, and math skills.

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of the character education module based on the school literacy movement. This type of research uses Research and Development (RnD). The research subjects used were fifth grade elementary school students in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data was collected using observation sheets, interview sheets, photos of activities, and filling out questionnaires. Sources of data obtained from filling out questionnaires, observations, and responses from school principals, class teachers, subject teachers, students, and school committees on the implementation of the module. The resulting module is validated by material experts and module experts. Small group trials were conducted in fifth grade SDN Mojoluhur, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Meanwhile, product use trials were carried out in fifth grade SDNs in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and using the t-test to determine the effectiveness of the module. The questionnaire instrument test used validity and reliability, while the quality of the module in the study used expert validation. The results showed: (1) a character education module developed based on the school literacy movement for elementary schools; (2) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is declared valid, the percentage of eligibility criteria for the validator is 75% (feasible) and 83% (very feasible); (3) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is effective for instilling character education in elementary school students. This is shown in the t test the effectiveness of -121.696 1.86 was obtained and the average student character questionnaire before and after using the module increased by 30.08%; (4) the results of teacher responses from observations showed 75.6% (good).

Teaching materials are one of the important components needed in the learning process. With the appropriate teaching materials, it is hoped that it can help the smooth running of learning activities. Science is a compulsory subject for elementary school students. Science contains all things related to nature. Teaching materials that have been used in learning activities are teaching materials made by the government. The purpose of this study was to determine the needs of students for context-based teaching materials and creativity to improve the scientific literacy of elementary school students. The research subjects were students from several elementary schools in Peukan Bada District, 25 students were used as the source of interview data. Data were collected using interviews and open questionnaires for students. The research data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the research data, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop context-based teaching materials and creativity. Context and creativity-based teaching materials were chosen because they can facilitate students to learn, both with educators and independently. Context-based teaching materials and creativity are teaching materials that are packaged in a comprehensive and schematic manner. This study is also part of a study on the development of teaching materials on the topic of human and animal organism.

<p><em>The focus of this research is to describe the role of Tagana in disaster education and the obstacles it faces in providing disaster education for elementary school students. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Wates Ponorogo. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. Data analysis used the Mile and Huberman analysis model. The results showed that the role of Tagana in disaster education for elementary school students can be seen from the Tagana Goes to School program. The program aims to accelerate the building of students' understanding and preparedness for disasters so as to minimize the impact. In the program, the roles of Tagana are: 1) providing knowledge of the types of disasters to students; 2) providing knowledge of disaster mitigation according to the type of disaster, and 3) conducting disaster mitigation simulations. In this case, disaster education is more focused on earthquake disasters. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by the Tagana Goes to School team were limited personnel and lack of response from the school. For this reason, additional volunteers must be carried out and disaster preparedness cadres formed in schools, so that the program can run effectively and efficiently.</em></p>

Factual conditions require the development of teaching materials in thematic learning using a scientific approach to improve the available teaching materials. This study aims to: 1) examine the factual conditions for the use of teaching materials in thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum; 2) knowing the development of scientific based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 3) knowing expert judgment on the feasibility of scientific-based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary students; 4) knowing the effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of fourth grade elementary school students; 5) knowing the teacher's assessment of learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for grade IV elementary school students; 6) knowing the response of students to learning using thematically based thematic teaching materials for fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses Development Research with qualitative and quantitative research designs. The development process uses the 4-D model of Thiagarajan, Semel and Semel which has been modified to be the stage of defining, designing, and developing. Teaching materials that have been validated by experts get the category of "very valid and without revision" from expert responses and teacher evaluations with agreed criteria, student responses to the use of teaching materials in learning get very good responses from students. The results of the trials using the experimental design The Before And After Design show that there is an effect of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of PPKn; 2) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on social studies learning achievements; 3) there is the influence of the use of scientifically based thematic teaching materials on the learning achievement of science. Scientific based thematic teaching materials for Grade IV Primary School students can be used in learning.

The purpose of this research is the development of local culture-based Pop-Up Book media based on process skills to train students' confidence that is valid, practical and effective. Focus on the PPKn class IV load, the sub-theme of my national culture diversity. This type of research uses the ADDIE development model (analysts, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The research subjects were fourth grade students of elementary school. The results of the local culture-based Pop-Up Book media validation of Grade IV elementary school students are (1) Local culture-based Pop-Up media have teaching material that has a movable part with two-dimensional elements. (2) Fulfilling valid criteria with the results of the material expert test reaching a 97% validity level with the category of "very good", for the test results media experts reached a 91% validity level with the category "very good" and worth trying out. After obtaining the validation results, a small group trial and interview were conducted to find out the practicality of the local culture-based Pop-Up media in grade IV elementary school students. Based on the experiments conducted, it can be concluded that the Pop-Up media that was developed has a high level of validity qualifications, so that this media is suitable for use in learning.

Cases of bullying among elementary school students are high, therefore need to get attention. This study reveals an indication of physical bullying that occurs in elementary students and its implications for moral education according to the guidance of Religion. The method used is survey and literature study with qualitative approach. Participants involved a number of 55 elementary school teachers in the Cirebon region, including districts and cities. The results showed that 1) almost half of the physical bullying indication occurred in primary school with the highest percentage is in punching and pinching behavior, while the smallest percentage of the strangling behavior, 2) moral education can be a therapy to change the bad behavior of physical bullying and can be used as an effort to prevent.

Elementary school students in general are still learning traditionally. Especially elementary school students learn entrepreneurship to train to create value innovations that are valuable independently. However, in this 4.0 era, many elementary students still run entrepreneurship in the traditional way by producing physical works, this is certainly because elementary school students do not experience development with the interference of technology. What should be elementary school students should have started to know technology early on. So, the purpose of this research is to empirically discuss how elementary school students are able to learn entrepreneurship digitally from an early age. With the iLearning method elementary school students are able to develop with a blend of technology 4.0 to create innovative results visually. The presence of the SEP (School Enrichment Program) system which is a bridge for elementary school students in learning entrepreneurship through learning so that they can improve their quality early on. In addition, the gamification techniques that exist in the system make elementary school students significantly more motivated in entrepreneurial learning. The sample data test results show that Cronbach's Alpha 0.702> 0.6 on the SEP system is significantly reliable.

Dental caries is the most common dental disease suffered by the Indonesian population, especially elementary school children—an oral dental condition caused by various factors, including children's lack of parental knowledge. The existence of a government program through the UKGS requires screening for every child in elementary school. The Covid-19 pandemic has hampered the screening process in elementary schools because students study online at home. This study aims to conduct a telesurvey of dental caries in children and determine parents' knowledge in maintaining the health of children's oral teeth. The cross-sectional method and the questionnaire were used in this study as a measuring tool. Furthermore, dental examinations are carried out using a gadget/mobile phone uploaded to the google form. The analysis used in this study is the univariate method. The results showed that 340 elementary school students at Padasuka Health Center had the primary teeth' caries index in the medium category. The caries index of the permanent teeth was in the deficient class. The prevalence of caries in elementary school students at Padasuka Health Center is 80%. At the same time, parental awareness regarding the maintenance of children's oral health is considered in the high category. The telesurvey conducted on elementary school students at Padasuka Health Center was used as an illustration to determine the status of oral health, particularly dental caries. Hopefully, the telesurvey will make it easier for respondents and health workers to assess oral health.
