The quality management program of economic education at a technological university allows to formulate methods for improving the quality of teaching non-core economic discipline, which is adapted to the specifics of an educational institution with a technical orientation. The article describes the features of teaching non-core disciplines, identifies the purpose of the program taking into account the identified features, and also considers the tasks that need to be solved to improve the quality of economic education. In particular, the adjustment of the substantive and methodological parts of the training program for the needs of students, the introduction of students' knowledge control based on statistical methods, as well as the integration of economic discipline in the general process and training paradigm, its direct relation with the future professional activity of students.

The article deals with the problem of improving the quality of training future navigators according to the strategic goals of the modernization of the educational process in Ukraine’s marine higher educational institutions, based on the humanistic paradigm, which requires special attention to the formation of future navigators’ communicative self-efficiency. The study of this problem is of particular relevance, since it is one of the main professional characteristics for representatives of the senior command navigators that enables them to carry out professional activities productively, adequately and at a high level: to organize the coordinated work of the crew, especially consisting of specialists of different nationalities, religious denominations, mentalities; competently and skilfully communicate with seaport employees, representatives of foreign companies, etc. The paper presents the conceptual provisions of A. Bandura, the founder of the theory of self-efficiency, its role and importance in person’s life as well as those of J. Caprari and D. Servon, D. Matsumoto (communication), educators (self-efficiency), (communicative self-efficiency) in the context of importance and the need to develop and form these phenomena for improving the quality of the training aimed at future navigators in higher education institutions of maritime profile. The phenomenon “communicative self-efficiency of the future navigators” has been defined; its essence and structure have been considered, the latter consisting of three components: reflexive (self-identification with navigators as model professionals, the presence of adequate self-assessment of their own actions in the field of professional communication, a stable reflexive position), cognitive-operational (awareness of the communicative sphere of maritime professional activity, skills, professional communication abilities); affective-behavioural (confidence in the possibility of productive communication in professional activities, emotionality, activity, responsibility, ability to self-regulate and self-sustain). The forms and methods for the formation of communicative self-efficiency of cadets of marine universities involved into the experiment have been presented: reflective workshop, keeping a reflective diary, which gave the cadet the opportunity to conduct self-analysis of their own professional actions and enhance self-understanding regarding the presence of the necessary professional personal qualities for performing their future professional activities effectively and building a positive Self-concept of the future navigator; the organizing dialogue “The role of the reflective component in developing future navigators’ communicative self-efficiency”, the technology “Developing confidence in self-efficiency and productive communication of future navigators in their future independent professional activities”, the training module “Communication skills”, etc. Keywords: communication, self-efficiency, communicative self-efficiency, future navigator, marine higher educational institution.

This researcher is motivated by analyzing the application of Total Quality Management well in a in industrial company in maintaining the quality of the products produced at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama, Through the application of TQM it is expected that the company can provide satisfaction to customers with the result produced. The formulation of the problem in this study is divided two into: (1) Analyzing the application of TQM  in maintaining the quality of the products produced at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama. (2) Whether the quality produced is in accordance with standard SNI. This study ams to find out how the application of TQM at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama and to find out the quality the products produced at PT. Sabina Tirta Utama.Intense competition will require companies to provide quality product to consumers. But the company’s concern is not limited to the quality of the product produced, but also on aspeets of the process, human resources (HR) and the environment. PT. Sabina Tirta Utama is a company that produces bottled mineral water in Samarinda and faces competition in a business that is growing increasingly. One of the methods carried out by PT. Sabina Tirta Utamain order to remain competitive by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) . through an obsession toward quality, teamwork, continus system improvement, education and training, unity of purpose, and employee involvement. TQM is a system to achive the goals of an organization, one of which is maintaining product quality.Based on the result of interviews and observations, implementation of TQM in maintaining the quality of bottled mineral water products at PT. Sabina Still has reject products every month and teamwork is still careless in packing. Then As the result quality of bottled mineral waterproduced by PT. Sabina Tirta Utama has met the standard.

The article examines the quality of training of cadets – the graduates of higher military educational institutions and military educational units of higher education institutions (hereinafter – HMEI). The quality of training is assessed by future officers as the main components of their own competencies. The main factors contributing to the improvement of the quality of military specialists’ training are analyzed.In order to assess the quality of training of military specialists during the implementation of research work among graduates of HMEI, a sociological study has been conducted. The main attention is paid to the problem of identifying the current state of the quality of training of military specialists and the identification of factors that will increase the effectiveness of the educational process in the HMEI. The sample was taken in seven leading HMEI: National Army Academy, Kharkiv National Air Force University, Military Academy (Odesa), Institute of Armored Forces of National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Zhytomyr Military Institute, the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization, Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.The quality of training of military specialists was considered from the point of view of graduates’ self-examination, namely: awareness of their own professionalism; possibilities of realization of individual abilities and inclinations; mastering the methodology of self-education, self-improvement; psychological readiness for professional activity; competence; ability to perform employment duties in the troops successfully.When planning a sociological study, all questions were brought together into five main blocks: socio-demographic characteristics of respondents; level of readiness of graduates to perform employment duties in troops, forces (the formation of appropriate competencies); changes (directions of improvement) in the content and methods of studying in HMEI offered by graduates to improve the quality of their own training; organizational measures that, in future officers’ opinion, should be used to improve the quality of training of military specialists; factors that are more of a concern for graduates after completing their studies;Key words: quality of training, professional competence, graduate of higher military educational institution, sociological survey

Introduction. The quality of tourist services has attracted increasing attention in the context of the European integration vector of the economy of our country. Therefore, the formation of general principles and areas of quality management for the competitiveness of the hospitality industry. Tourism companies are faced with the need to increase competitiveness in the domestic and international markets, the effectiveness of management decisions and business performance, the problems of adaptation to the characteristics of emerging markets and the need to realize market opportunities, all of which characterize the inefficient management of the tourism business. Methods. The research is formed on the basis of systematic and holistic approaches, structural modelling and monographic study of the issue of improving the quality of tourist services. Results. The basic directions of improving the management of quality of services of tourist activity are formed. The state standards in the sphere of tourism in accordance with the international quality standards are completed and harmonized. An educational and professional course “Implementation of national standards of tourist services harmonized with international and European normative documents” has been proposed, which intensifies interest in the integration of Ukraine into the EU general economic space. It will help university graduates in the further professional activity of specialists in tourism services and hotel and restaurant business. Discussion. The expected impact of the vocational training course will be based on the presentation of the best European tourism strategies and practices; expanding and deepening knowledge of the European Directives and ISO standards for tourism; approbation of the European experience in tourist services; promotion of the European model of quality of tourist services. The implementation of ASN competency development is closely related to the quality of education and training provided by the Educational Institution (Lemdik). The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) as the agency assigned the task of fostering the implementation of education and training for ASN employees has conducted quality assurance to ensure the implementation quality of the education and training. Even though quality assurance has been carried out routinely, training problems still arise. This study aims to analyze the implementation of accreditation as a quality assurance process carried out by Educational Institutions. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through document review, FGDs, and in-depth interviews. The results of the study showed that the implementation of accreditation has not been able to portray aspects of leadership and organizational commitment as part of quality assurance. The results of the study found that the fulfillment of data and information in the implementation of accreditation had not been carried out routinely. From these findings, the results of the study recommended that the quality assurance process must be viewed from the management cycle. Besides, there also needs an improvement in data and information management systems. Keywords: State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Quality Management, Accreditation, Competency Development Abstrak Pelaksanaan pengembangan kompetensi ASN berkaitan erat dengan kualitas penyelenggaraan diklat yang diberikan oleh Lembaga Pendidikan (Lemdik). Lembaga Administrasi Negara (LAN) sebagai instansi yang diberikan tugas dalam membina pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pelatihan pegawai ASN telah melakukan penjaminan mutu untuk menjamin kualitas penyelenggaraan diklat. Meskipun penjaminan mutu telah dilaksanakan secara rutin, tetapi permasalahan diklat masih sering muncul. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pelaksanaan akreditasi sebagai proses penjaminan mutu yang dilakukan oleh lemdik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui telaah dokumen dengan memanfaatkan berbagai dokumen terkait proses akreditasi tahun 2019, FGD, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan akreditasi belum mampu memotret aspek kepemimpinan dan juga komitmen organisasi sebagai bagian dari penyelenggaraan penjaminan mutu. Hasil kajian menemukan pemenuhan data dan informasi dalam pelaksanaan akreditasi belum dilakukan secara rutin sehingga menyebabkan data dan informasi yang diberikan cenderung disiapkan hanya untuk keperluan akreditasi. Dari dua temuan ini, hasil kajian merekomendasikan bahwa proses penjaminan kualitas harus dilihat dari siklus manajemen, serta perlu penambahan data dan informasi yang mencerminkan aspek kepemimpinan, integritas dan komitmen pegawai. Selain itu, perlu ada perbaikan sistem pengelolaan data dan informasi untuk menjamin bahwa data yang diunggah benar-benar mencerminkan aktivitas dan penjaminan kualitas di setiap tahapan. Introduction. Today, one of the criteria for assessing the quality of education is the opinion of students about educational services. Undergraduates enrolled in distance learning programs represent a specific student audience. Features of this category form a social portrait that has the information potential for organizing an effective educational process adapted to the “target audience”. Methodology and sources. In the academic year 2018–2019, the author conducted an empirical case study through an anonymous online survey of graduate students of the correspondence department of the first year of study. Results and discussion. As a result of the survey, respondents have received answers characterizing the peculiarities of their life, sociocultural environment, professional activity and factors of formation of motives of educational activity. The information obtained is presented in tables, which allowed to form a “numerical” outline of the social portrait of an extramural student. The result of an empirical study was a description of the collective image of a student studying in absentia in a magistracy. Active professional activity, focus on success, limited time resources, etc., determined the content of wishes for improving the conditions and process of educational activity. The main adjustments should relate to the effective planning of the educational process, methodological support of classroom and extracurricular activities, providing comfortable conditions for a long stay in an educational institution and communication with fellow students.Conclusion. The social portrait of students contains information about their typical representatives, the sociocultural environment of life.  Regular monitoring of the dynamics of socially significant characteristics of students allows you to quickly make adjustments that improve the quality of education.

The implementation of total quality management is applied to every educational institution as an effort to improve the quality of education. In this case, it is important to carry out management functions in each educational institution. This article discusses the implementation of total quality management in educational institutions to seek to improve the quality of education in achieving a quality standard in education. Every educational institution should show better quality and be able to compete. This is intended so that educational institutions continue to gain the trust of the public and stakeholders. To continue to get this, it must be improved continuously, both physically and non-physically. So as to make a quality educational institution and guaranteed quality. There are several main things that need to be considered in implementing total quality management in the world of education, namely: continuous quality improvement; determine quality standards, cultural change; changes in the organization; and maintain relationships with other agencies and customers and evaluate the system if anything is not appropriate

Total Quality Management is a system used to continuously improve the quality of services or products offered to customers. There are so many benefits obtained by educational institutions if implementing this Total Quality Management, including being able to provide better services to customers, can meet general accountability standards in education reform and can improve and encourage a pleasant learning environment and encourage students and teachers to learn. The TQM concept is a management system that is used as a business strategy oriented to customer satisfaction by involving customers and all members of the organization. In the implementation and implementation of TQM to reduce existing barriers, it is necessary to have a high commitment from top management, expansion of insights, information, knowledge and skills regarding the implementation of TQM, and also invites all employees to be more open and more active in carrying out their duties. And also there needs to be a relationship between the organization and the surrounding community to find out what is needed and desired by the surrounding community so that it can be fulfilled as desired. And also provide education and training in order to improve the quality of human resources.

Quality management is an approach to management which requires establishing quality policies, procedures and practices on regular basis. Engineering education is a process of developing techno human resources, which are to be used later as input to industry which in turn produces goods and services for the societal use. Having considered the current situation of the engineering educational system and the quality of all its individual components it can be noticed that the awareness of the importance of education as a foundation for the growth and development of the country, such as India, is not strong enough. Engineering graduates passing out from educational institutions have to fulfill modern and high standard requirements that are needed by industry. Therefore, there is a greater need to instill quality in engineering education to produce technically skilled and creative man-power in India. The continuous assessment of quality is of paramount importance for educational institution. Education efficiency and success does not depend just on quantity but as well on quality. This paper has discussed key points for the improvement in the quality of engineering education with a case study undertaken at various engineering colleges in India. The study was conducted in two phase; first phase is the critical investigation of the literature and the second phase is a study on the quality of engineering education provided by the educational institutions in Visakhapatnam city. A simple random sampling technique was adopted for the study. A research study described in this paper identifies and analyses the quality of engineering education at the educational institutions which adopt the total quality management system to increase the quality and meet the industrial requirements and then suggests some ingredients to improve the quality.

Peneliti ini memfokuskan pada Impelementasi Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008 di MAN 3 Sleman dalam Upaya Peningkatan Mutu Guru Mata Pelajaran PAI. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian lapangan (field reseach) yang bersifat kualitatif dengan mengambil latar MAN 3 Sleman. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah MAN 3 Sleman, guru Man 3 Sleman, guru BK, dan siswa MAN 3 Sleman sedangkan obyek penelitiannya berkaitan dengan Implementasi Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008 di Man 3 Sleman (Upaya Peningkatan Mutu Guru PAI).. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008 sangat tepat dalam Upaya peningkatan Mutu Guru Mata Pelajaran PAI. Impelementasi sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2008 sudah dilakukan dengan sangat baik. Dalam upaya peningkatan mutu guru mapel PAI melalui sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2008,  MAN 3 Sleman melalui peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesionalisme. Terdapat faktor kelebihan dan kekurangan dalam melaksanakan implementasi sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2008 (upaya peningkatan mutu guru PAI di MAN 3 Sleman). Kelebihannya yaitu adanya keteraturan dan ketertiban diberbagai lini karena sesuai standar sasaran mutu. Sedangkan kekurangannya adalah masih ada beberapa guru PAI yang kurang sadar akan pentingan penerapan sistem manajemen tersebut. . ABSTRACT this research focus on advanced of education depends on the management system /management in an educational institution, especially religious-based educational institutions such as MAN 3 Sleman. This research is a field research (field reseach) that is qualitative, by taking the background MAN 3 Sleman. The approach used a qualitative. The subjects of this research are head of madrasah, deputy head of madrasah MAN 3 Sleman, teacher of 3 Sleman, BK teacher, and student of MAN 3 Sleman while the object of research is related to Implementation of Quality Management System ISO 9001: 2008 in Man 3 Sleman (Improvement Effort of PAI Teacher Quality) . Data collection is done by conducting observation, interview and documentation. The results show that the Implementation of ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System is very appropriate in Improving Quality Teachers of PAI Subject Teachers. Impelementasi quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 has been done well. In an effort to improve the quality of PAI mapel teachers through ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system, Man 3 Sleman through the path of pedagogic competence improvement and professionalism competence. There are advantages and disadvantages in implementing the system quality management of ISO 9001: 2008 in an effort to improve the quality of PAI teachers in MAN 3 Sleman. The excess is the existence of order and order in various lines because according to the standard of quality objectives. While the drawback is there are still some PAI teachers who are less aware of the importance of the implementation of the management system.
