Proof ability of prospective teachers on Trigonometry material is still lacking. It can be seen when they carry out trigonometry proof that does not meet the proof indicators to conduct the research. This study aimed at improving proof ability of prospective teachers with a contextual model on Trigonometry materials. The research method used was classroom action research with the subjects of 30 students of Mathematics Education Study Program, State University of Malang, 2019. The research was conducted in two cycles by providing scaffolding action regarding proof steps, trigonometry identity scaffolding, and conflict cognitive of proof results. The research results showed that an increase of material indicator was 4%, an increase of completeness indicator was 24%, an increase of reason indicator was 59%, an increase of clarity indicator was 31%, an increase of conclusion indicator was 2%, and an increase of application capability indicator was 4% with a total increase of student’s ability was 23%.

This research aims to develop teaching materials that have been produced by the application of the learning model Means Ends Analysis in the form of Classroom Action Research. The development carried out in this study resulted in Euclid Geometry teaching materials based on KKNI to improve cognitive analytical skills and deductive reasoning of students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta. There were five steps carried out in developing this teaching material, including initial research, collecting data and information on needs, planning changes to teaching materials, developing early teaching materials, field trials, and revisions. The teaching material developed is suitable for use in Euclid's Geometry learning because it has passed the expert validation process. Also, this teaching material has been tested on students who have been and are currently taking Euclid's Geometry courses. This concludes that Euclid Geometry teaching materials based on KKNI are feasible and can be used as a handbook for students in taking Euclid Geometry courses in the Mathematics Education Study Program of FMIPA UNJ. Keywords: Euclid's geometry, learning models, means-ends analysis, classroom action research.

Background: Prospective teachers are less able to formulate high-level questions, so that the skills of teachers to formulate high-level questions are still lacking, even though it really determines students' critical thinking abilities. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in students' ability to formulate high-level questions through the discussion-comparison method 1,2 with critical analysis of articles in the Biology Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Methods: This research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with four cycles. Results: The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to formulate high-level questions of students through the discussion-comparison method 1,2 with critical analysis of articles in the Biology Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu.

The obejectives of this research are to know the improvement  of the students’ achievement in poetry mastery and their perception regarding to the semiotic method in teaching and learning poetry in  English Education Department, Languages and Art Faculty of State University of Medan. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the research are the fifth semester of 37 students of 2013/2014 academic year. The data are collected by test in order to know the students’ achievment in poetry mastery. The students’ perception toward the implementation of the semiotic method for teaching and learning poetry is collected by questionaire. The data are analyzed by descriptive analysis. The result of research shows that (1) the average score of the students’ achievement of poetry mastery is (71.75) or it increases (11,59) point from pre-test (60.16) and (2) in general, the students’ perception toward the semiotic method for teaching and learning poetry are good and positive.

The number theory is the first mathematics content course in the UPH FIP Mathematics Education study program, which does not have a response class. The response class was conducted as a companion to four content subjects with close relations with school mathematics content, namely Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Geometry, and Linear Algebra. Based on the questionnaire that has been distributed, prospective mathematics teachers consider that the response class is beneficial for them in attending lectures and in exploring related mathematical concepts. However, on the other hand, students inevitably have to go back to learning to be determined with the response class. The implication is that students' self-regulated learning will not develop optimally. However, self-regulated learning is an essential aspect that prospective teachers need to have. This research was conducted to see how self-regulated learning of future mathematics teachers in number theory courses. The research instruments used are questionnaires, the scale of self-regulated learning, and interviews. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of this study are that most students have a moderate level of learning independence. The aspects or indicators of learning independence that need special attention are setting learning goals/targets. Prospective teacher students need to continue to train and develop their learning independence to become professional teachers who continue to develop along with the times.

Each child has a different character. In this case, the role of the family, especially the mother, is very supportive of the child in instilling the child's character according to his potential. The purpose of this study was to improve the character of children's courage through their mother tongue by using the classroom action research method conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten in Sungai Pinang Ogan Ilir by researching two cycles consisting of 3 meetings with planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Based on the research results in the first cycle, the minimum category developed as expected 67%, with the dominant indicator appearing as the attitude of doing something without worrying about the difficulties. In comparison, the minimum category increased to 87% in the second cycle, indicating that the child can face something with great confidence and great results. This shows that using the mother tongue can improve the character of the courage of early childhood.

This research is a Classroom Action Research in the scope of education carried out by lecturers, researchers in their class or together with other people.Increasing basic dribbling technique skills from before using the homecourt application method through online-based zoom media and after using the homecourt application method through zoom-based media. online in the pre-cycle, it is proven that there has been no improvement because the homecourt application method has not been implemented. 40% of the 12 students who got complete scores with an average score of 67 out of 30 students. There was a significant increase in cycle II, there was an increase in dribbling skills in Handball games with the homecourt application method through online-based zoom media with 2 students who became guards. Evidenced by the results of research with an increase in completeness results to 19 students who completed with an average score in Handball learning of 72.25

Sight Singing is the ability to read the notation and immediately sing the tune in accordance with the melody on the sheet music. Sight Singing is the activity of singing with solmisasi or movabel "do". This study aims to improve the ability to read beam notation in learning mandatory piano instruments using the Sight Singing approach. The Mandatory Piano Instrument course is one of the practical courses that must be taken by all Music Education Study Program students, ISI Yogyakarta. Not all new students in Music Education Study Program can read the beam notation, so this Piano Compulsory Instrument course course is always feared by students who have not read fluent notation. Sight singing as a strategy to enhance the learning of Piano Mandatory Instruments. This research is focused on the application of Sight singing in learning Mandatory Piano Instruments in Music Education Study Program. This research uses Classroom Action Research which can be categorized as a qualitative-experimental research by applying the Sight singing method. The results of this study are the learning process of the Mandatory Piano Instrument with the application of the Sight singing method more effectively to improve the ability to learn to read notation while playing the Piano Instrument, and students can be more expressing, impressed singing by accompanying themselves.
