scholarly journals PROFILE OF DECREASED CONSCIOUSNESS IN GERIATRIC PATIENTS AT H. ADAM MALIK HOSPITAL MEDAN IN 2018

Introduction: The decline in consciousness, disruption of either the level or content of consciousness, is a significant problem in the ER (Emergency Room). The incidence varies from 4% to 10%. It is an emergency medical condition that requires proper evaluation and initial management in the ER. Fluid and electrolyte imbalance disorders leading to loss of consciousness among hospitalized geriatric patients and the infection and effects of the drug. Delirium is closely related to dehydration, a multifactorial problem associated with some physiological changes in old age. Aim: This research aims to know about the decline profile of consciousness in geriatric patients in RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan in the year 2018. Methods: This descriptive-analytic study used retrospective design by collecting the medical record data of the patients who had been consul to the geriatric division in 2018. There are 1391 research subjects taken in total sampling. Data analysis is presented in the form of the frequency distribution of respondents characteristics including age, gender, primary diagnosis of loss of consciousness, electrolyte examination, and head of CT-scans and analysis by using the Kruskall-Wallis test to determine the relationship age with the incidence of loss of consciousness due to electrolyte imbalance. Data analysis using SPSS 20th. Result: Obtained by the most five diseases that cause a loss of consciousness in geriatric patients, i.e., electrolyte imbalance (imbalance) 876 people (63.0%), ischemic stroke 155 people (11.1%), sepsis as many as 141 (10.1%), hemorrhagic stroke 89 people (6.4%), and hypoglycemia 69 (5.0%). Geriatric patients with electrolytes imbalance due to hyponatremia (89.3%) and hypokalemia(28.53%). There is no association between the age and the electrolyte levels of geriatric patients, p>0.05. Conclusion: Decreased consciousness in geriatric patients is most due to electrolyte imbalance.

The purpose of this study is to find out relationship between organizational justice and turnover intention of employees at PT. Y. The hypothesis proposed in this research stated there is a relationship between organizational justice and turnover intention of employees at PT. Y. The research data analysis used was multiple regression analysis to know the relationship between organizational justice with turnover intention. The research subjects were all employees of PT. Y consisting of 108 employees. The data were derived from a scale to measure organizational justice and turnover intention. The result of the data analysis reveal F = 24.694 with p = 0.000 (p<0,05), means there is a relationship between organizational justice with turnover intention of employees at PT. Y. The result of the study showed that the contribution (R2) was 47% (Adjusted R Square = 0,470).

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar pada Mata Pelajaran Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan teknik korelasional. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan minat belajar dengan hasil belajar. Kontribusi minat belajar terhadap hasil belajar adalah 52%, sedangkan 48% ditentukan oleh faktor lain.   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between interest in learning with learning outcomes in the subjects of Light Vehicle Engine Maintenance XI grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Palangka Raya. This research was quantitative research. The research subjects consisted of 32 students. The data analysis techniques used were questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using correlational techniques. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between learning interest and learning outcomes. The contribution of learning interest in learning outcomes is 52%, while 48% is determined by other factors.

This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and self esteem in Adolescent of K-pop fans in the A.R.M.Y Medan Community. Researchers used quantitative research methods with respondents being Kpop fan girls who joined the A.R.M.Y Medan Community where the number of young women who were taken as research subjects was 100 people. The measuring instrument in this study used a body image scale of 26 items (reliability: 0.918) and a self-esteem scale of 32 items (reliability: 0.918). Methods of data analysis using product moment correlation with the help of SPSS version 25.0 to determine the form of the relationship and the value of the body image variable in explaining the variable self-esteem. The results of the data analysis indicate that there is a positive relationship between body image and self-esteem where rxy = 0.432 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.05. So that the rhit value> rtab (0.432> 0.194) is obtained so that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. This means that the hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between Body Image and Self-esteem in Kpop fans in the A.R.M.Y Medan Community. Self-esteem is formed by Body Image by 18.7%. From this contribution percentage, it can be seen that there are still 81.3% influence from other factors of Self-esteem. Based on the results of empirical calculations, it shows that young women in the A.R.M.Y community in Medan have moderate self-esteem and body image.

This study aims to find out the relationship between self-efficacy and procrastination of teachers in Kretek 1 Junior High School with a sample of 34 teachers consisting of female and male teachers. The data collection of the research sample was carried out by random sampling model where every individual in the population gets the same opportunity to become participants for research subjects. This research using the scale of procrastination (Alpha 0.781) and the scale of self-efficacy (Alpha 0.820). Research data analysis was performed by the product moment with SPSS 19 for windows program. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between the two variables was -0,524 with p = 0.001 (<0.05). The results concluded that there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy and procrastination, therefore the hypothesis in this study was accepted.

This study aims to determine the relationship between conscientiousness personality traits and cyberbullying. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a negative relationship between the traits of conscientiousness personality and cyberbullying. The research subjects used in this study were class XI students of Bodhicita Private High SchoolMedan, totaling 119 people. Data is obtained from a scale to measure the traits of conscientiousness and cyberbullying personality. Calculations are carried out by conducting an analysis prerequisite test (assumption test) consisting of a normality test and a linearity test. Analysis of the data used is using Product Moment correlation through SPSS 20 for Windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of -0.575 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The results of this study indicate that the contribution given to the conscientiousness personality traits variable towards cyberbullying is 33.1 percent, the remaining 66.9 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the research hypothesis there is a negative relationship between the traits of conscientiousness personality and acceptable cyberbullying.

This study aims to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and service quality. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership and service quality, assuming the higher the transformational leadership, the higher the service quality and vice versa. The research subjects used in this study were Darul Arafah Islamic Boarding School teachers in Lau Bakeri Deli Serdang, as many as 100 people. Data collection techniques using purposive sampling. The research data were obtained using transformational leadership scale and service quality. Analysis of the data used is to use product moment correlation through SPSS 17 for windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.532 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership and service quality.

This study aims to determine the relationship between proactive personality and religiosity with marital satisfaction. the research method used is quantitative. The research subjects were married couples consisting of 128 couples, in Bethany church Surabaya Indonesia. Data collection uses: 1) the scale of Enrich Marital Satisfaction (EMS) developed by Olson and Fowers (1993), 2) the proactive personality scale developed by Parker (1998), 3) Religiosity using the RCI-10 scale developed by Worthington (2003). Data analysis used multiple linear correlation and partial correlation. Results of this study showed that proactive and religiosity personality together gave a significant relationship with marital satisfaction on husband and wife (p = 0.00, p <0.05). the contribution given to marriage satisfaction by the husband was 37.7%, and the wife was 32.1%. This study also shows that proactive personality by controlling religiosity in husbands is in the low category while those in wives are in the moderate category.

[Title: Relationship of Hand Eye Coordination, Arm Strength and Achievement Motivation with Forehand Accuracy in Table Tennis] This study aims to determine the relationship between: 1) hand eye coordination with precision forehand; 2) arm strength with forehand precision; 3) achievement motivation with precision forehand; 4) hand eye coordination, arm strength, and achievement motivation together with forehand precision. This research uses quantitative approach, survey method and correlation technique. Research subjects are athletes at pandusiwi club in dompu district as many as 30 athletes. Data analysis using correlation and regression with SPSS 20. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between: 1) hand eye coordination with precision forehand; 2) arm strength with forehand precision; 3) achievement motivation with precision forehand; 4) hand eye coordination, arm strength, and achievement motivation together with forehand precision.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment, with the assumption that the higher the organizational justice, the higher the organizational commitment and conversely. The research subjects in this study were 100 employees who worked in PT.Datascrip Medan who were selected by the saturated sampling method. Data is obtained from a scale to measure organizational justice and organizational commitment. Analysis of the data used is to use Pearson Product Moment Correlation through the help of the 17.00 SPSS program for Windows. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of 0.450 (p <0.05). The results show there is a positive relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment. The results of this study indicate that the contribution provided by organizational justice variables on organizational commitment is 20.3 percent, the remaining 79.7 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di PT.Datascrip Medan sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih dengan metode sampling jenuh. Data diperoleh dari skala untuk mengukur keadilan organisasional dan komitmen organisasional. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Pearson Product Moment Correlation melalui bantuan program SPSS 17.00 for Windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.450 (p<0.05). Hasil menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara keadilan organisasional dengan komitmen organisasional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan yang diberikan variabel keadilan organisasional terhadap komitmen organisasional adalah sebesar 20.3 persen, selebihnya 79.7 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hipotesis penelitian dapat diterima.Kata kunci: Komitmen Organisasional, Keadilan Organisasional

This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's role, father's role and self-confidence with social adjustment in adolescents. The research subjects of class IX Muhammadiyah Middle School 1 Surakarta numbered 110 people. Data collection uses social adjustment scale, father's role scale, mother's role scale, self-confidence scale. Data analysis calculations used three predictor regression analysis techniques and cross tabulation analysis. From the results of data analysis, there is a significant relationship between father's role, mother's role and self-confidence with social adjustment, which correlates the role of father to social adjustment = 23.8%; mother's role in social adjustment = 16.1%; confidence in social adjustment = 18.1%. The total effective contribution of father's role, mother's role and confidence in social adjustment is 58%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara peran ibu, peran ayah dan kepercayaan diri dengan penyesuaian sosial pada remaja. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta berjumlah 110 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala penyesuaian sosial, skala peran ayah, skala peran ibu, skala kepercayaan diri. Perhitungan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi tiga prediktor dan analisis tabulasi silang. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara peran ayah, peran ibu dan kepercayaan diri dengan penyesuaian sosial yang nilai korelasi  peran ayah terhadap penyesuaian sosial = 23,8%; peran ibu terhadap penyesuaian sosial = 16,1%; kepercayaan diri terhadap penyesuaian sosial = 18,1%. Total sumbangan efektif peran ayah, peran ibu dan kepercayaan diri terhadap penyesuaian sosial sebesar 58%.
