The flexible scenario of the contemporary labor market suggests the formation of professionals who have the qualities to be inserted in the system of production with increasingly liquid characteristics. In the field of leisure, specifically, the professional is expected to possess knowledge and skills that combine technical, cognitive and attitudinal aspects. For this, the formative process must seek the unity between theory and practice, establishing links with the research and with the cultural formation of the subjects. We believe that the leisure training based on these principles can prepare the professional in order to mobilize their knowledge in the face of the various situations that will cross their trajectory in the world of work. Keywords: Training and Performance. Geography is not only the study of the surface of the planet and the exploration of spatial and human - environment relationships, but also a way of thinking about the world. Guided by the Australian Curriculum and the Professional Standards for Teaching School Geography (GEOGstandards), Teaching Secondary Geography provides a comprehensive introduction to both the theory and practice of teaching Geography. This text covers fundamental geographical knowledge and skills, such as working with data, graphicacy, fieldwork and spatial technology, and provides practical guidance on teaching them in the classroom. Each chapter features short-answer and 'Pause and Think' questions to enhance understanding of key concepts, and 'Bringing It Together' review questions to consolidate learning. Classroom scenarios and a range of information boxes are provided throughout to connect students to additional material. Written by an author team with extensive teaching experience, Teaching Secondary Geography is an exemplary resource for pre-service teachers.

Musical robotics is a rapidly growing field, with dozens of new works appearing in the past half decade. This paper explores the foundations of the discipline and how, due to the ability of musical robots to serve as uniquely spatialized musical agents, it experienced a rebirth even in the face of loudspeaker technology's dominance. The growth of musical robotics is traced from its pre-computer roots through its 1970s renaissance and to contemporary installation-oriented sculptures and performance-oriented works. Major figures in the field are examined, including those who in recent years have introduced the world to human/musical robot interaction in a concert setting. The paper closes with a brief speculation on the field's future, with a focus on the increasing ease with which new artists may enter the field.

The labour market has brought new mutations with the impact of globalization, the changes that have been taken internally in the face of the labour law, the recommendations and new conventions that have arisen within the International Labour Organization (ILO), and even with the environmental policies taken by states concerning the climatic phenomena that have been presented in recent times. The technological changes inherent in globalization, the expansion of the economy and the general market between states, and the subscription of free trade agreements have generated modernization in the face of the natural conception of the world of work, thus allowing the flexibility in the existing contractual modalities in labour law of Colombia.

ABSTRACTThis paper deals with the contribution of economic planning to French industrial policy and performance. This was highly significant until the mid 1960s but declined thereafter due to a combination of economic and political factors. The inherent problems of across-the-board regulation in a complex industrial economy reinforced the displacement of the planners from the traditional French elite. In the late 1970s, planning had begun again to provide an informational support to other policies for restructuring industry in the face of the world market. The paper ends with an evaluation of the Mitterrand government's aspirations for more dirigiste industrial planning.

The COVID-19 pandemic, which affects the world, changes how we teach and learn from traditional approaches to technology approaches. The online classroom is a way to transfer the knowledge, and skills of the lecturer to the student. There is an excellent challenge amongst the lecturer to change the face-to-face method in the online classroom. The purpose of this study is to discuss the challenge facing the online in-class lecturer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenges for the lecturer are teaching and learning, technology, and workload. This challenge must be managed properly to ensure the effectiveness of the online classroom and students benefit from it.

Technology is changing the face of the world today. It is one of the most catalysts for today’s changes in how marketing is done. However, consumers have great and collective power to ‘dictate’ what companies do. We can highlight several of the more apparent impacts of technology on markets and the organizations competing in these markets. While change is challenging, it is also exciting. Organizations that are market-driven and learn how to leverage technologies and other competencies can anticipate promising opportunities for growth and performance.

AbstractI expose facets of Nancy’s notion of being singular plural. Nancy’s political ontology overcomes the metaphysical dualism of theory and practice by thinking the space of the between as primary. Nancy’s treatment of the event of creation and the presence of the divine rethink meta-physical notions of origin and God in a way that emphasizes the parting of unity and the plurality of the world. Nancy thinks the everyday and the existential together by affirming the importance of curiosity and wonder in the face of what is. Nancy offers an ontology of space (being-with) that uncovers what it means to be in touch as a way of being.

Until quite recently, political philosophers routinely ignored nationalism. Nowadays, the topic is very much on the philosophical agenda. In the past, when philosophers did discuss nationalism, it was usually to denigrate it. Today, nationalism elicits generally favorable treatment. I confess to a deep ambivalence about this turn of events. On the one hand, much of what has emerged in recent work on nationalism appears to be on the mark. On the other hand, the anti- or extra-nationalist outlook that used to pervade political philosophy seems as sound today as it ever was, and perhaps even more urgent in the face of truly horrendous eruptions of nationalist hostilities in many parts of the world. What follows is an effort to grapple with this ambivalence. My aim will be to identify what is defensible in the nationalist idea and then to reflect on the flaws inherent in even the most defensible aspects of nationalist theory and practice.

This paper investigates the high-earning children's series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, in relation to the skills young people require to survive and thrive in what Ulrich Beck calls risk society. Children's textual culture has been traditionally informed by assumptions about childhood happiness and the need to reassure young readers that the world is safe. The genre is consequently vexed by adult anxiety about children's exposure to certain kinds of knowledge. This paper discusses the implications of the representation of adversity in the Lemony Snicket series via its subversions of the conventions of children's fiction and metafictional strategies. Its central claim is that the self-consciousness or self-reflexivity of A Series of Unfortunate Events} models one of the forms of reflexivity children need to be resilient in the face of adversity and to empower them to undertake the biographical project risk society requires of them.
