Content analysis is a method to study and analyze something that systemically and objectively on the message that appears. The contents of textbooks are a source of material in the learning process. Therefore, textbooks must be in accordance with the applicable curriculum. In the context of education in Indonesia, the current curriculum is the 2013 curriculum with a scientific approach. This study sought to find out the content of the material (hiwar and qira’ah) of Arabic students' books 2013 curriculum of the grade XII MA published by the Ministry of Religion and its suitability with the 2013 curriculum which consisted of four Core Competencies which became the perspective. The approach used is a qualitative-descriptive approach using documentation and content analysis methods as a tool for collecting and analyzing data. The results of this study is indicate material content (hiwar and qira’ah) in accordance with the 2013 curriculum content standard. The details are as follows: 1) the first chapter of the more prominent aspects is the realm of spiritual attitude and knowledge; 2) chapter two, Knowledge and Skills; 3) chapter three, Social Attitudes and Knowledge; 4) chapter four, the domain of Social Attitudes; and 5) Spiritual Attitudes. From the research findings, the social attitude in this book is very minimal. Aspects of diversity, tolerance, pluralism and multiculturalism are not found in the material of the book.

Abstrak Tulisan ini mencoba mengungkapkan realitas keberagaman sosial di Indonesia dengan segala problematika dan upaya perawatannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yaitu mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan diikuti oleh analisis data untuk mendapat data yang relevan dan akurat. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif-analitis, tulisan ini mengkaji suatu perspektif al-Qur’an melalui ayat-ayat-nya tentang konsep satu pola mewujudkan moderasi hidup beragama melalui penguatan pada segi teologis hubungan muslim non-muslim dan pemahaman agama yang pluralis dan inklusif untuk mendukung upaya mewujudkan sikap keterbukaan dan toleran. Dengan demikian, aspek toleransi mempunyai peran penting dari kerja sama pemerintah dan para tokoh agama untuk mendukung akselerasi dari makna dan substansi toleransi yang ditransformasikan ke dalam kehidupan sosial kemasyarakatan, sehingga konflik secara horizontal dapat dihindarkan dengan pola hidup yang moderat. Kata Kunci: Moderasi, Ekstremisme, Liberalisme, Toleransi, Inklusif   Abstract This study aims to reveal the social diversity reality in Indonesia with all its problems and solutions. The method in this research is used the qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the study results in accordance with the study objectives then followed by data analysis to obtain an appropriate and accurate research findings. With a qualitative-descriptive-analytical approach, this study examines the Qur’an perspective through its verses on the concept of a pattern for embodying the religious life moderation in order to promote unity of the nation and state through the strengthening theological aspects of Muslim and non-Muslim relations as well as pluralistic and inclusive understandings in accepting openness and tolerance. Tolerance has an important role of cooperation between the government and religious leaders to accelerate the tolerance implementation that is transformed into social life avoiding horizontal conflict in a moderate manner. Parents’ low participation in improving the quality of education is an interesting topic of study. This research aims to obtain data on parents’ participation in improving the quality of infrastructure and learning process in elementary schools. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data were the principal, teachers, and parents. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research findings, it can be discussed that parents already participated in improving educational infrastructure but not maximized. They donate funds and energy for school construction. While, in learning process, parents contribute to guide, to motivate, to supervise the children, and to facilitate all their needs in learning. Problems faced by parents in improving the quality of learning are lack of time in supervising the children to learn due to busy work and also the low level of parents’ education and income (education and economic factors).

Some of the problems faced by students in learning English are speech acts. This research focused on finding the speech acts. This study aims to get an overview of humor speech acts of the big bang theory. The qualitative descriptive approach will be used along with the content analysis technique. The result shows that: (1) there are three parts of speech acts used, including locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary acts, (2) there is a violation of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner maxim. However, the most violation maxim was at the quantity maxim, (3) the screenwriters intentionally create a dialogue with several principles’ violations of speech acts, team-works, and humor categories. It can be concluded that the speech acts humor of the big bang theory screenwriters intentionally made some mistakes to create humor to raise up the jocularity atmosphere that can be enjoyed by the viewers. It is expected that this research can enrich the knowledge as regard the linguistic phenomena especially those which are related to speech acts.

Abstract - It is undeniable that Instagram social media has entered in all aspects of communication. At first Instagram just sharing moments of photos and videos and then used for trading and spreading information. Instagram let anyone has the opportunity to attract other user attention by doing social construction from its  of the contents through his Instagram account. This research attempts to describe the social construction that occurs and its potential in the dissemination of rumors on social media Instagram. With a qualitative descriptive approach revealed that Instagram users in this case the students are aware of and do message construction in order to get the attention of other users. They also understand that Instagram social media has the potential to spread rumors to the public. Keywords: social media,instagram, social construction, rumors   AbstrakTidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa media sosial Instagram telah masuk di semua aspek berkomunikasi. Mulai dari sekadar berbagi momen foto dan video sampai digunakan untuk berniaga dan menyebar informasi. Melalui Instagram ini siapapun berkesempatan untuk menarik perhatian warganet dengan melakukan konstruksi sosial terhadap isi pesan yang akan dibagi melalui akun Instagramnya. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan  konstruksi sosial yang terjadi serta potensinya dalam penyebaran rumors di media sosial Instagram. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif tersingkap bahwa pengguna Instagram menyadari dan melakukan  konstruksi pesan agar bisa memperoleh perhatian dari pengguna lainnya. Mereka juga memahami bahwa media sosial Instagram memiliki potensi dalam penyebaran rumor pada masyarakat. Kata Kunci : media sosial, instagram, konstruksi sosial, rumor

AbstractDown syndrome is a sensitive subject and one that requires efforts being made to improve conditions of individuals with Down syndrome across multiple dimensions. Social awareness is one of the important dimensions for the inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome. Online spaces as well as offline spaces are an important part of our daily lives, and these spaces provide numerous opportunities to create, increase and sustain awareness of Down syndrome. From this perspective, this study examines the awareness of Down syndrome in online spaces. With this objective in mind, the research examined 4,168 conversations from 2,430 individuals that were posted in a microblogging service on WDSD. The research findings indicate that the Down syndrome network is distributed in time and space with diverse backgrounds. Key influencers were those who were already associated with Down syndrome. Furthermore, the social mood for Down syndrome was found to be positive.Keywords: Down syndrome, World Down Syndrome Day, Down syndrome awareness, social network analysis, sentiment analysis.*

Tulisan ini menggali rasionalitas penggunaan tradisi sikep penglaris masyarakat Islam Aboge di dusun Tumpangrejo kabupaten Malang dalam perspektif Webberian. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam artikel ini dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dengan mendeskripsikan secara mendalam  data yang diperoleh melalui  reduksi, interpretasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian menemukan bahwa rasionalitas tradisional dan rasionalitas instrumental mengemuka dalam penggunaan sikep penglaris. Salah satu rasionalitas tradisional adalah sikep penglaris merupakan tradisi turun temurun dari nenek moyang sebelum membuka usaha. Tradisi ini menjadi kesadaran kolektif masyarakat Aboge. Secara instrumental, pilihan menggunakan sikep penglaris karena munculnya ketakukan akan gangguan magis yang menyebabkan kebangkrutan atau  usahanya tidak berjalan seperti yang diharapakan. Menariknya antara satu sikep penglaris dengan lainnya memiliki perbedaan. Perbedaan tersebut karena perbedaan guru spiritiual sekaligus media sikep penglaris. Bertahannya sikep penglaris tidak terlepas dari proses konstruksi yang terus berjalan secara dialektis dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat Tumpangrejo.      This paper explores the rationality of using the tradition of sikep penglaris in the Islamic community of Aboge in Tumpangrejo, Malang Regency, from a Webberian perspective. A qualitative descriptive approach is used with data collection techniques through observation and interviews in this article. Data analysis by describing in depth the data obtained through reduction, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. Research founds that traditional rationality and instrumental rationality come to the fore in the use of sikep penglaris. One of the traditional rationalities is that sikep penglaris is a tradition passed down from generation to generation before opening a business. This tradition has become the collective consciousness of the Aboge people. Instrumentally, the choice using sikep penglaris due to the fear of magical interference that will cause bankruptcy or the business does not well as expected. Interestingly, there are differences between one sikep penglaris cycle and another. This difference is due to differences in spiritual teachers as well as sikep penglais media. The persistence of sikep penglaris cannot be separated from the construction process that continues in the social life of the Tumpanrejo community dialectically.

Development is a process of social change with broad participation a society that is intended to achieve social and material progress (including increasing the amount of justice, freedom and other valued qualities) for the majority of the people through the greater control they have over their environment. To plan development is not to build ideas and future strategies only without considering the social, cultural, and community adoption ability to change, so a lot of planning has been successful in stimulating economic growth in the short term but failed in building social cohesion, resisting vulnerability and reinforcing the cultural value. In relation to this, the village development planning should be put in a comprehensive manner to bridge the development needs of the region, strengthening the sector and harmonization of development actors.This study aims to see how the results of the evaluation of the Middle-Term Development Plan of the village of LubukSuli, DepatiTujuh District, Kerinci 2018 district. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data in this study using interviews and documentation. the general aspects of planning and implementation are good enough.

<p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstract:</strong> The spiritual leadership model is a very supportive aspect in character education efforts in religious based schools. This study aims to describe and find a substantive theoretical framework about the spiritual leadership of the headmaster's Nun in improving the quality of teacher services to Christian spiritual education at SDK Santa Maria II and SDK Sang Timur Malang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a multi-site study design. The research findings show that the model of spiritual leadership which is apparent from efforts to in still spiritual values with a personal and programmatic approach, has a positive impact on teachers.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Model kepemimpinan spiritual merupakan aspek yang sangat mendukung dalam upaya pendidikan karakter di sekolah berbasis religi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menemukan kerangka teori substantif tentang kepemimpinan spiritual Suster kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan guru terhadap pendidikan spiritual kristiani di SDK Santa Maria II dan SDK Sang Timur Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan rancangan studi multi situs. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model kepemimpinan spiritual Suster kepala sekolah yang tampak dari upaya penanaman nilai spiritual dengan pendekatan personal dan terprogram, memberikan dampak positif bagi guru.

This research aimed to understand the Ininnawa tradition maintained by the Bugis people of nurturing their children in Kukup Village. The method used in this research was qualitative descriptive with a social phenomenology paradigm. Research findings: the Ininnawa tradition is a tradition where has a benefit for the Bugis generation in improving and maintaining cultural preservation to keep them facing and overcoming challenges. The Ininnawa tradition aims to increase the Bugis people's ability to adapt to their surroundings. This tradition is learning to develop intellectual skills and a principle firmly entrenched in adulthood about "seriousness" and "shame" in the spirit of success. The Ininnawa tradition is a hereditary inheritance from the Bugis people that is to be done from time to time in their lives as a way of preserving the culture that has a philosophy of thinking, feeling, and believing to behavior in society, which includes Sipakatau (not distinguish each other), Sipakainge (recognizing each other), and Sipakalebbi (mutual respect). The Ininnawa tradition exemplifies personality and social attitudes in everyday life. This tradition is consistent with Islamic teachings, which aim to instill good morals by the requirements of the Qur'an and Hadith.

Colonial Era Education in Siedjah Novel Written by Nico Vink (Literarure Sociology Study) ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan potret pendidikan, fakta sejarah, latar belakang sosial budaya masyarakat, dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam novel Siedjah karya Nico Vink. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode content analysis atau analisis isi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode ini menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa data tertulis maupun lisan tentang nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam unsur sosiologi. Metode ini digunakan untuk menelaah isi dari suatu dokumen. Dokumen dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Siedjah karya Nico Vink. Dalam hal ini peneliti mendeskripsikan data yang berkaitan dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan dalam lingkup sosiologi sastra. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini meliputi nilai-nilai pendidikan pada era kolonialisme yang berangkat dari fakta sejarah yang diceritakan ulang oleh tokoh utama Siedjah. Tokoh utama memandang sistem kolonialisme merupakan sistem terpadu yang dilakukan untuk kepentingan tertentu demi menaikkan citra sosial yaitu sebagai kaum pendidik.Kata kunci: Siedjah, Nico Vink, nilai pendidikan, sosiologi sastra, kolonialismeABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the portrait of education, historical facts, the socio-cultural background of the community, and the educational values contained in the novel Siedjah written by Nico Vink. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using content analysis method. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This method produces descriptive data in the form of written and oral data about the values of education in sociological elements. This method is used to examine the contents of document. The document in this research is the novel Siedjah by Nico Vink. In this case, the researcher describes the data related to the values of education in the sociology of literature. The findings in this study include the values of education in the colonialism era, which begin from historical facts that are retold by the main character Siedjah. The main character views the colonialism system as an integrated system carried out for certain interests in order to raise the social image, namely as educators.Keywords: Seidjah, Nico Vink, Education Values, Sociology of Literature, Colonialism
