AbstrakPenelitian ini diarahkan pada kajian teks wacana pariwisata dengan pendekatan analisis wacana. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah aspek kebahasaan pembangun kepaduan teks wacana berupa kohesi gramatikal referensi persona pada teks pariwisata di laman pesonaindonesia.kompas.com. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aspek kebahasaan kohesi gramatikal referensi persona pada teks pariwisata dalam media digital yang hasilnya dapat dipakai sebagai salah satu dasar merespons tuntutan kualitas strategi komunikasi promosi yang kreatif.  Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif deskriptif dalam linguistik. Sumber data berasal dari situs/laman pesonaindonesia.kompas.combulan Januari—Oktober 2019. Data berwujud teks wacana pariwisata. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak. Data dianalisis dengan metode agih dengan teknik ganti. Kajian ini menemukan pendayagunaan referensi pronominal persona yang difungsikan untuk membangun teks wacana yang khas dari teks pariwisata secara koheren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teks pariwisata menggunakan aspek-aspek gramatikal kohesi referensi persona pertama, kedua, ataupun ketiga. Referensi persona kedua mendominasi dalam teks pariwisata di laman pesonaindonesia.kompas.com. guna menciptakan keutuhan dan kepaduan wacana. Lebih lanjut, pemilihan referensi persona tersebut ditujukan untuk mendekatkan diri dengan pembaca dan terkandung implikasi persuasif bagi pembaca. Kata kunci: kohesi, referensi persona, teks pariwisata, wacana AbstractThis research is directed at the study of tourism discourse texts with the discourse analysis approach. The problem studied is the linguistic aspects of the building of the discourse text cohesion in the form of grammatical cohesion of persona references in the pariwisa text on the pesonaindonesia.kompas.com page. The aim is to describe the linguistic aspects of grammatical cohesion of references to charms in the tourism text in digital media, the results of which can be used as a basis for responding to the demands of the quality of creative promotional communication strategies. This research is a descriptive qualitative type in linguistics. The data source is from pesonaindonesia.kompas.com website / page from January to October 2019. The data is in the form of a tourism discourse text. The method of data collection is done by referring to the method. Data were analyzed by the method of distribution. The results showed that the tourism text uses grammatical aspects of the first, second, and third persona reference cohesion. The second persona reference dominates in the tourism text on the pesonaindonesia.kompas.com page. in order to create wholeness and cohesiveness of discourse. Furthermore, the selection of the reference persona is intended to get closer to the reader and has persuasive implications for the reader.Keywords: discourse, cohesion, personal pronouns, tourism text

This study aimed to described the markers of grammatical cohesion in Ahmad Fuadi's novel Anak Rantau and to explain the dominant markers of grammatical cohesion found in Ahmad Fuadi's novel Anak Rantau. This type of  research because the data is in the form of languange units (paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases) which contain grammatical cohesion markers. The data source of this research is from the novel Anak Rantau by Ahmad Fuadi. Methods and technique the research data collection use the observation and note method and technique used, namely the tapping technique. The findings of this study are, first, the four markers of grammatical cohesion in Ahmad Fuadi's novel Anak Rantau by: (a) references or referred to as references are divided into three type, including:  personal pronouns, demonstrative references, and comparative references. (b) conjuction and liaison is divided into three types, namely:  liaison between clauses, liaison between sentences, and liaison between paragraphs. (c) substitution or what is commonly called restitution is divided into four types, nominal substitution, verbal substitution, fractal substitution, and clausal substitution. (d) ellipsis or impingement. Second, the dominant grammatical cohesion marker found in Ahmad Fuadi's novel Anak Rantau, namely the references contained in personal pronouns or what can be called a persona reference was found as many  as 1193 data. The author of the novel mostly uses personal pronouns, especially in the pronoun persona III (third) closely bound form, namely 797 data found and mostly refers  to the character Hepi and Lenon.

This research aims to describe the expressive value of grammar in the discourse of corruption in the print media "Fajar" which includes expressive modalities. Expressive modality is a modality that is used to indicate the authority of producing texts with regard to the truth or possible representation of reality. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a critical discourse analysis approach to the Norman Fairclough model. The data source in this study is the discourse on corruption in Fajar's print media, while the data is the expressive modality in the discourse of corruption in the "Fajar" print media. This data was collected using the following techniques: documentation, especially external documentation in the form of news published in the print media "Fajar" from the 1 December 2018 edition to the 28 February 2019 edition which was taken randomly, observed, read, and recorded. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using the critical discourse analysis approach of Norman Fairclough's model by means of description, interpretation, and explanation. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the expressive modalities expressed by the text generators in the discourse on corruption in the printed media "Fajar" include: the modalities of truth which are marked by words or modals still, already, and definitely; the modality of desire expressed through modal can, so, will, and wants, and the modality of necessity expressed through modal must have imperative and directive power to move other people to do something in accordance with what the text generator wants.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tentang nilai ekspresif gramatika dalam wacana korupsi di media cetak “Fajar” yang meliputi modalitas ekspresif. Modalitas ekspresif adalah modalitas yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan autoritas penghasil teks yang berkenaan dengan kebenaran atau kemungkinan representasi realitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Norman Fairclough. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu wacana korupsi dalam media cetak Fajar, sedangkan yang menjadi data adalah modalitas ekspresif dalam wacana korupsi dalam media cetak “Fajar”. Data ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik: dokumentasi khususnya dokumentasi eksteren berupa berita-berita yang dimuat dalam media cetak “Fajar” mulai edisi 1 Desember 2018 sampai dengan Edisi 28 Februari 2019 yang diambil secara acak , observasi, baca, dan catat. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis model Norman Fairclough dengan cara deskripsi, interpretasi, dan eksplanasi. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa modalitas ekspresif yang dinyatakan oleh  penghasil teks dalam wacana korupsi di media cetak “Fajar” meliputi: modalitas kebenaran yang ditandai dengan kata atau modal masih, sudah, dan pasti; modalitas keinginan yang dinyatakan melalui modal bisa, agar, akan , dan ingin, dan modalitas keharusan yang dinyatakan melalui modal harus yang memiliki kekuatan imperatif dan direktif untuk menggerakkan orang lain melakukan sesuatu sesuai dengan yang diinginkan penghasil teks.

Selection of research on "Cooking Class as Tour Packages at the Restaurant Laka Leke in Ubud Bali" is motivated the potential that cant be find anything in Ubud area which can be put into a package "cooking class", and how to plan a tour package "cooking class" in support of the potential that exists in Ubud. Data collection in this study was done by observation, interviews, and library research. Type of data used is the qualitative data supported by quantitative data, while the data source are the primary data and secondary data. Results of this study showed that of the observations made on potentiality of tourism in Ubud village is still a lot of potentials that has not been developed and the maximum attention, especially from the local government. Development of tourism in Ubud village just focus on a few places in the Ubud area. For the Bureau of Tourist’s Travel or restaurant should pay more attention to making travel packages which involving local communities and make a package that is unique and different so will not appear tour packages that already exist.

<p><em>The company PT.Surya agroloika Reksa is a company engaged in oil palm plantations by owning private gardens in Riau province, and has 2000 employees with their respective positions. Human resources within an organization are very important to support the progress and quality of the company in achieving its goals. The foreman position at PT Surya Agrolika Reksa has shortcomings in determining the foreman's position. So far, the selection of foremen has only been based on job rankings.Applications designed with the Groub method programming algorithm will summarize several points needed in determining the foreman's position. The application will calculate these points, so the calculation process is faster and doesn't take a long time.The data collection technique used is observation by directly observing the work process carried out to obtain a clear picture of the object under study. Interviewing is conducting a direct dialogue with the authorities in providing information on the required data and studying literature by searching for literature. supporting libraries.</em></p><p><em> </em></p>

The tight competition in the business world requires every business actor to develop business with various kinds of competition in all fields, one of which is by processing human resources, because the quality of human resources greatly affects the quality of production. The production process is usually associated with productivity, if productivity increases it will also be followed by an increase in the performance of the company. Human Resources is one of the keys to the success of the company in order to increase competition and improve product quality. The method used in this study is a descriptive type of qualitative approach. The data collection technique was through observation, interviews and documentation, the data source being from UD Slamet Situbondo. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of human resources on improving product quality. The results of the study indicate that the existence of quality possessed by human resources is very decisive for improving product quality in the future. For measuring product quality, it can be known through customer satisfaction, free from damage, the size of the durability of the product, product accuracy, and easy to operate and maintain. Meanwhile, from a marketing point of view, product quality is measured in terms of the buyer's perception of the quality of the product

Listening is often view as receptive or passive skill that hard to be measured. Nevertheless, listening is one skill that play a big role in enhancing students’ proficiency in English. Therefore, improving students’ quality in listening is important. According to Al-Musalli, there are four sub-skills involved in listening: 1) literal level, it involves three main types of skill: phonological, syntactic, and lexical skills; 2) inferential level, it related to the comprehension of the text; 3) critical level includes: making an appropriate judgment about the message, the speaker personality, and the topic, and; 4) creative level includes handling verbal and non-verbal communication strategies and responding in the proper way. All of these sub-skills can be used as the criteria to view students’ mastery level of listening. This research only applies three level as a benchmark to know students’ quality of listening, they are: literal, inferential, and critical. The objective of this research is to know the students’ quality in listening skill based on mastery level of listening. The research design is descriptive. The subjects of study are five students who meet the researcher’s criteria. Data collection technique in this research is using test of listening, interview, observation and documentation. The data is analyzed using the model of Miles and Huberman. After being collected, the data is verified using triangulation by method and another researcher. The result of this research shows that students at fourth semester of English Education Department in IAIN Samarinda located in inferential level of mastery listening skill which means their quality in listening can be categorized as good.

ABSTRAKKegiatan pembelajaran saat pandemi di Indonesia dilakukan secara daring. Perlu adanya dukungan media pembelajaran seperti yang disediakan oleh Ruang guru. Ruang guru merupakan penyedia media pembejaran yang bisa diakses menggunakan internet, sehingga memudahkan guru dan siswa saat proses belajar. Dengan persaingan yang terus bertumbuh, Ruang guru perlu memilih strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang tepat, salah satunya dengan menunjuk brand ambassador. Tahun 2021, telah dipilih lima brand ambassadors baru yang berasal dari kalangan artis. Pengabdian dilakukan untuk mengetahui perkembangan strategi komunikasi pemasaran Ruang guru melalui pemilihan brand ambassadors dan seperti apa respon masyarakat terkait hal tersebut. Metode pengabdian melalui proses tahapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Diketahui bahwa masyarakat setuju akan terpilihnya brand ambassador Ruangguru 2021 dan dinilai mampu meningkatkan positif perusahaan. Teori strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan adalah pull, push, dan profle strategies. Hasil akhir kegiatan PKL menunjukkan sebanyak 40 responden setuju atas pemilihan brand ambassador, diantaranya 28% memilih Prilly Latuconsina sebagai “ikon” Ruang guru paling sesuai. Selain itu, banyak pengguna yang setuju atas terpilihnya kelima brand ambassadors karena prestasi serta rekam jejak yang baik dari masing-masing brand ambassador. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah kedepannya Ruang guru harus lebih meningkatkan kualitas konten dan lebih selektif memilih brand ambassador agar sesuai dengan visi dan misi perusahaan. Kata kunci: brand ambassador; pemasaran; ruang guru. ABSTRACTLearning activities during the pandemic in Indonesia are carried out online. There needs to be support for learning media such as those provided by Ruang guru. With the high rivalry in this industry, Ruangguru needs to choose the right marketing communication strategy, one of which is by appointing a brand ambassador. In 2021, five new brand ambassadors have been selected from among the artists. This community dedication held to know the effect of Ruang guru’s brand ambassadors and what’s public responses to it. The method is through a process of stages, implementation, and evaluation. The marketing communication strategies used are pull, push, and profile strategies. The final result showed that 40 respondents agreed with the selection of brand ambassadors and they be able to increase the company's positivity and of which 28% chose Prilly Latuconsina as the most compatible Ruang guru "icon". In addition, many users agree with the selection of the five brand ambassadors because of the achievements and good track records of each brand ambassador. Recommendations that can be given are that in the future Ruang guru should further improve the quality of content and be more selective in choosing brand ambassadors to fit in the company's vision and mission. Keywords: brand ambassador; marketing; ruang guru.

Earthquakes are one of the most catastrophic natural phenomena. After an earthquake, earthquake reconnaissance enables effective recovery by collecting data on building damage and other impacts. This paper aims to identify state-of-the-art data sources for building damage assessment and provide guidance for more efficient data collection. We have reviewed 39 articles that indicate the sources used by different authors to collect data related to damage and post-disaster recovery progress after earthquakes between 2014 and 2021. The current data collection methods have been grouped into seven categories: fieldwork or ground surveys, omnidirectional imagery (OD), terrestrial laser scanning (TLS), remote sensing (RS), crowdsourcing platforms, social media (SM) and closed-circuit television videos (CCTV). The selection of a particular data source or collection technique for earthquake reconnaissance includes different criteria depending on what questions are to be answered by these data. We conclude that modern reconnaissance missions cannot rely on a single data source. Different data sources should complement each other, validate collected data or systematically quantify the damage. The recent increase in the number of crowdsourcing and SM platforms used to source earthquake reconnaissance data demonstrates that this is likely to become an increasingly important data source.
