This study aims to analyze the implementation of business ethics in traditional markets and analyze the role of al-Hisbah in the implementation of business ethics in the Wonokromo traditional market in Surabaya. This type of research is field research. The data collection methods are observation, interview, and study literature. The research result implies information about the traditional market sellers' understanding of business ethics that very diverse. Although some sellers do not know theoretically about business ethics, they implement the ethical business value because of their obedience to religious values taught by their families. The function of Al-Hisbah in the Wonokromo market has been going well despite some shortcomings that might able to be managed by supervision in terms of price, size/scale, and quality of goods. The implication of this research is its contribution to the development of Islamic Economics science, and input for stakeholders incuding market management and city government who involved in socialization and implementation business ethics at traditional markets.

Abstrak Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang kondisi pasar-pasar tradisional di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara revitalisasi pasar tradisional dengan peningkatan pendapatan daerah Kota Tangerang Selatan. Selain itu untuk melihat perbandingan antara pengelolaan pasar tradisional dengan pasar modern.  Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode sebab-akibat. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis komparatif dan kompetitif dari hubungan sebab akibat antara revitalisasi pasar dengan pendapatan daerah. Disebabkan penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, maka selama penelitian dimungkinkan adanya perkembangan penelitian atau hasil dari rumusan masalah yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara revitalisasi pasar tradisional dengan peningkatan pendapatan daerah. Sehingga perlu segera dilakukan revitaliasasi terhadap pasar tradisional yang ada di Kota Taangerang selatan. Sebab potensi pendapatan daerah yang akan diperoleh setelah revitalisasi akan sangat banyak dan besar sekali. Adapun potensi tersebut antara lain pengelolaan parkir, pajak restoran, reklame, izin usaha pertokoan, pajak bumi dan bangunan,  penyewaan perkantoran, penyewaan tempat untuk pameran, penyewaan toko seperti di mall, rumah dan toko (ruko), dan pengelolaan sampah. Dengan adanya revitalisasi pasar tradisional maka diharapkan akan meningkatkan pendapatan daerah. Sedangkan implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah dikeluarkannya kebijakan atau regulasi oleh Pemerintah Kota Tangerang Selatan tentang revitalisasi pasar tradisional. AbstractThis study describes the condition of traditional markets in South Tangerang City. The study aims to determine the relationship between traditional market revitalization with increased income in the area of South Tangerang City. In addition to seeing the comparison between traditional market management with modern markets. The research method used is a causal method. The data analysis method used is a comparative and competitive analysis of the causal relationship between market revitalization and regional income. Because this research is a qualitative study, so long as the research is possible the development of research or the results of the formulation of the problem that has been determined. The results showed that there was a relationship between traditional market revitalization and an increase in regional income. So that it is necessary to immediately revitalize the traditional market in southern Tangerang City. Because the potential of regional income that will be obtained after revitalization will be very large and enormous. The potential includes parking management, restaurant tax, billboards, shop business permits, land and building tax, office rental, exhibition space rental, shop rentals such as in malls, houses and shops (shop houses), and waste management. With the revitalization of traditional markets, it is expected to increase regional income. While the implications of the results of this study are the issuance of policies or regulations by the South Tangerang City Government regarding the revitalization of traditional markets.

Traditional market management requires a precise and measurable system given the important role of the market in supporting the local economy on the one hand, and the complexity of the problems to be faced on the other. Efforts are needed to ensure a targeted traditional market management system, among which is oriented towards the identification and stewardship of appropriate strategic issues. This qualitative research is carried out to apply a multi-perspective approach that is considered accommodative to the variety of variables, in mapping the strategic value of various problems that arise in the management of traditional markets. The research was conducted in the traditional markets of Bantarujeg, West Java and produced strategic mapping of problem groups related to administrative, financial, organizational and traditional market development.

The market is generally divided into two, namely traditional markets and modern markets. Traditional market is a market that has a simple buying and selling activities, there is a bargain with a means of payment in the form of cash. In addition, the market is not only a place for the community in meeting the daily needs, but also the center of the community's economic drive. Traditional market is an important channel in the distribution process of agribusiness products as big as food product of daily necessities. The competition of traditional markets and modern markets is getting tighter. The government is trying to assist the development of traditional markets in order to compete with modern markets by planning the revitalization and fostering of market management so that not only physical improvements are made but also services and market management mangement. Related to this problem is capital strategy applied by traditional market trader Soponyono in face of tight competition with modern market. This research method is descriptive study by using qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through (1) indepth interview, in-depth interviews until the data obtained is considered sufficient and (2) observation that is observing the learning process undertaken. The process of data analysis using capital strategy theory. The selection of this theory is based on the object of research that is Soponyono Surabaya Market so that it can know more deeply about the capital process of Soponyono market traders related to the problem of competition with modern market Based on the result of research known that capital strategy of traditional traders in facing modern market through banking funding, Private capital and BKM and BMT. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena minat baca siswa dan pengaruh minat baca terhadap pertumbuhan kemampuan belajar siswa pada jenjang-jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Kepala sekolah sebagai lokomotif perkembangan mutu pendidikan memiliki peran strategi bagi pengumbuhan dan pengembangan minat baca peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator, manajer, dan innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif lapangan, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik meliputi meliputi tiga pembinaan, yakni pembinaan mental dan moral, serta pembinaan artistik. 2) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai manajer dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam meliputi penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen dengan didasarkan pada pada kerjasama dengan USAID dan UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang meliputi inovasi strategi, pola pikir (mindset) dan struktur. Abstract This research is motivated by the phenomenon of reading interest of students and the influence of reading interest on the growth of students' learning ability in the next level of education. The principal as a locomotive of the development of the quality of education has a strategic role for the growth and development of reading interest of learners. This study aims to determine the role of principal as an educator, manager, and innovator in the development of reading interest of learners in MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City. This research is a qualitative field research, data collected through observation, interview, documentation and triangulation, and analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The role of principal as an educator in the development of reading interest of learners includes three activities are coaching, namely mental and moral coaching, and artistic coaching. 2) The role of principal as manager in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam covers the application of management functions based on cooperation with USAID and UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) The role of principal as innovator in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City includes innovation strategy, mindset, and structure.

The aim of this research was to examine partial reflective awareness in ethical business choices in Croatia. The ethical decision-making is interlinked with sustainable practices, but it is also its prerequisite. Thus, better understanding of business ethics decision-making provides a basis for designing and implementing sustainability in a corporate setting. The research was done on student populations who will soon carry important roles and make important decisions for individuals, organizations, and society. The field research was conducted using Kohlberg’s scenarios. The results reveal that the process of decision-making goes through the lenses of respondents’ own preferred ethics. However, the reflective awareness of respondents’ preferred ethics is skewed and regularities in that deviations point out to the relevance of the context characteristics and arousal factors. In addition, the individuals do not use all available information in the assessment process. The revealed partial reflective awareness contributes to explanation of why people have problems with justifying their choices. As there are many examples of unethical behavior in the environment that remain unpunished, it is necessary to raise awareness of the issue. Improvement in reflective awareness would contribute to more sustainable ethical choices and reveal a possibility of an intervention design within the higher education framework.

The term, 'inang-inang pasar' is referred to Bataknese market female vendors who sell basic commodities in the traditional urban markets. They have the image of hard working and tough vendors who fight against poverty in towns. Their activities as vendors in traditional markets indicate their strategic role of women as the agents of economic resilience and the agents of health security in their families. Here, their toughness in supporting their families by being vendors at Sembada traditional market, Medan. However, their toughness becomes a dilemma caused by Covid-19 pandemic. In this case, the government implement prokes (health protocol) from 3Ms to 5 Ms (wearing masks, washing hands, doing social distancing, avoiding crowd, and staying home), including in the area of the traditional markets where they sell their merchandise. The Prokes of Covid-19 in traditional markets have caused various responses from them. The reality is that they have not been ready to practice the policy on this 5 M Prokes since most of them lack of awareness of adhering to it due to the vulnerable of their health habitus. It seems that they can become the carriers and local transmitters of Covid-19. This situation worsens their condition and the people surrounding them such as their own family members. This study aims to determine how the role of principal In Improving Teacher Quality in Private MTs Nurul Falah Talok Kresek Tangerang District. This research is qualitative with Field Research approach (Field Research). In this research, it is found that the head of madrasah in improving the quality of teachers in private MTs Nurul Falah Talok Kresek Tangerang Regency can be achieved. Achievement and success are based on a number of findings in the research that took place, namely 1). The Head of Madrasah has empowered the effort to improve the quality of teachers by covering various practical and logical work such as teacher competence test, guidance of teaching program and improvement of teacher professionalism, Increase of income and teacher welfare. 2). Madrasah principals undertake various development and fulfillment efforts related to infrastructure and madrasah infrastructure facilities. Another result of this research is that the success of the madrasah head that can support the process of teacher quality improvement can occur due to several factors, among others 1). Madrasah principal can play an important role as a leader with its central power to always move the artery of madrasah life, 2). The head of Madrasah is also able to understand SOP, their duties and functions for the success of madrasah accompanied by a strong attitude towards the subordinates who lead in this case the teacher in his madrasah. The research entitled: "Maqasid al-Shari'ah Analysis of the Role of the Surabaya City Government in Realizing Child Friendly Cities" is a field research that aims to answer the question how the role of the Surabaya City Government in realizing Child Friendly Cities through established public policies from the perspective of the maq??id al-shar?'ah. Research data were collected using interview and documentation techniques and then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques with a deductive mindset. The results of the study concluded that the Surabaya City Government was very active in realizing Child Friendly Cities through the protection and fulfillment of children's rights, which was clearly seen from the existence of various public policies that were established to support institutional strengthening and fulfillment of the five Child Friendly Cities clusters.The role of the Surabaya City Government is in accordance with the concept of maqasid al-shari'ah because the determination of public policy is based on the welfare of children. This is proven by the elements of hifz al-din and hifz al-nasl in the public policy regarding civil rights and freedom, family environment, and alternative protection. In addition, there are elements of hifz al-nafs and hifz al-aql in public policies regarding institutional strengthening and the five Child Friendly Cities clusters, although they are actually less than perfect due to the absence of the hifz al-mal elements in them.

Abstract Every consumer would expect rice at an affordable price with a very good quality. This study aims to determine the quality of rice and estimate the hedonic price model of rice in the traditional market of Tarakan City. This research was conducted at the traditional market in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan. Analysis of the data was is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the quality of rice found in the traditional market in Tarakan City was medium grain. The characteristics of rice that affected rice prices were chalk grains, head grains and yellow grains. While foreign objects, small grains, red grains and broken grains had no effect on the price of rice.

Abstract: In the context of Indonesia, the quality of education seems to be something taboo to talk about, however, according to researchers the quality of education in Indonesia is very apprehensive. It is necessary for the role of headmaster and special efforts in developing a quality education institution through organizational culture as a value system that is understood, imbued, run jointly by members of the organization as a system of meaning or guidance for the organizers. This study aims to describe the three roles and impacts role of the headmaster role in developing the quality of organizational culture, they are: (1) the role of the headmaster as a manager; (2) the role of the headmaster as the educator; (3) the role of the headmaster as the supervisor; 4) The impact of the headmaster's role in developing the quality of organizational culture quality at SDMT Ponorogo. This research is categorized into a field research with qualitative descriptive approach and the research design was case study. The setting of study was at SDMT Ponorogo.  The findings showed that (1). The role of headmaster as manager encompasses conducting internal and external analysis, internalizing the Islamic value that is kemuhamadiyahan value. (2). The role of the headmaster as an educator includes involving educators in upgrading, workshops or training in order to provide opportunities for educators to improve their knowledge and skills by learning to the higher education, conducting cadre to members of organizational culture and creating jargon to motivate members of organizational culture. (3). The role of the headmaster as a supervisor comprises overseeing and Evaluating the performance and achievement of members of organizational culture, conducting weekly, monthly and semester meetings, monitoring achievements of educators and learners. (4) The impact of the school headmaster's role in developing the quality of organizational culture is organizational culture climate becomes harmonious and schools achieve more attainments.Abstrak: Dalam konteks Indonesia, mutu pendidikan seolah-olah menjadi barang yang tabu untuk diperbicangkan, dalam konteks tersebut kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia sangat memperihatinkan. Untuk itu diperlukan peran kepala sekolah dan Upaya khusus dalam mengembangkan sebuah mutu lembaga pendidikan melalui budaya organisasi sebagai sistem nilai yang dipahami, dijiwai, dijalankan secara bersama oleh anggota organisasi sebagai sistem makna atau pedoman bagi pelaku organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan tiga peran serta dampak peran  kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan mutu budaya organisasi, yaitu: (1) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai Manajer, (2) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai Educator, (3) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor, dan (4) Dampak peran kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan mutu budaya organisasi di SDMT Ponorogo. Dengan menghasilkan temuan: (1).Peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer diantaranya: melakukan analisis internal dan eksternal, menginternalisasi nilai keislaman yaitu nilai kemuhammadiahan. (2). Peran kepala sekolah sebagai educator diantaranya: mengikut sertakan pendidik dalam penataran, workshop atau pelatihan memberikan kesempatan kepada pendidik untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya dengan belajar ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi, melakukan pengkaderan kepada anggota budaya organisasi. membuat jargon-jargon untuk memotivasi anggota budaya organisasi. (3). Peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor diantarnya: mengawasi dan mengevaluasi kinerja dan pencapaian anggota budaya organisasi, mengadakan rapat setiap, minggu, bulan dan semester, memantau prestasi pendidik dan peserta didik. (4) Dampak peran kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan mutu budaya organisasi diantaranya: iklim budaya organisasi menjadi harmonis, sekolah menjadi lebih berprestasi.
