Subject of research: model of increasing the competitiveness of the national economy. The purpose of the study: develop a model for increasing the competitiveness of the national economy based on a neocluster approach. Research objectives: to develop the concept of a neocluster; to build a logical scheme for the formation of the competitiveness of the national economy on the basis of a neocluster approach. Methodology and research methods. General scientific and special methods of cognition: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, a systematic approach were used to conduct the research. A neocluster concept has been developed, which includes the concept of a neocluster, distinctive features, and a structural diagram of a neocluster. A model for increasing the competitiveness of the economy of a country / region has been built on the basis of a neocluster approach and a mechanism for increasing the country's competitiveness has been substantiated. The causal relationships between the sources of competitiveness are identified: (elements of Industry 4.0), directions and factors of increasing competitiveness. The developed theoretical foundations of the neocluster and the logical model for increasing the competitiveness of the national economy based on the neocluster approach can serve as a theoretical and methodological basis for the formation of a neocluster policy.

Technological revolution and growing social, economic, ecological, and biological threats make the topic of sustainable development increasingly relevant. Having examined the development strategies of the subjects of the Russian Federation, we identify three strategies of industrial development currently pursued by the Russian regions: extractive growth, inclusive reindustrialization, and new industrialization. In line with the specified strategic directions, the systems of objectives are structured. The analysis of the strategic planning documents of the RF subjects located within the Ural macroregion revealed that in accordance with the suggested classification, they adopt the policy of industrial development. To shift the policy focus towards the new industrialization, corrective measures are proposed. The research proves that modern system of strategic planning should be flexible and adaptable, in addition to be based on the uniform rules of strategizing.

Abstract Assistance is becoming increasingly relevant in carrying out industrial work in the context of cyber-physical production systems (CPPSs) and Industry 4.0. While assistance in a single task via a single interaction modality has been explored previously, crossdevice interaction could improve the quality of assistance, especially given the concurrent and distributed nature of work in CPPSs. In this paper, we present the theoretical foundations and implementation of MiWSICx (Middleware for Work Support in Industrial Contexts), a middleware that showcases how multiple interactive computing devices such as tablets, smartphones, augmented/virtual reality glasses, and wearables could be combined to provide crossdevice industrial assistance. Based on activity theory, MiWSICx models human work as activities combining multiple users, artifacts, and cyber-physical objects. MiWSICx is developed using the actor model for deployment on a variety of hardware alongside a CPPS to provide multiuser, crossdevice, multiactivity assistance.

Introduction. The issue of the enterprises’ innovative activity intensification is one of the most important in the current conditions. Especially, if we take into account the increasing influence of Industry 4.0. Today, Industry 4.0 defines development trends for most enterprises, aiming to increase their own competitive advantage and strengthen their position in the global market. Most of the world's leading enterprises have already actively considered challenges of Industry 4.0 in their innovative activities. It allows them to find new solutions and achieve the desired results at lower costs and with higher added value. Accordingly, there is a need for adaptation of enterprises’ innovative activity to Industry 4.0. That is the reason why the concept of “strategy of forward-looking innovation development” is formed. And this concept requires further detailed research. Purpose. The article aims to analyse the process of the strategy of forward-looking innovative development forming as an important part of enterprises' innovative activity in the conditions and trends of Industry 4.0. Method (methodology). In the article, the following methods of scientific research have been used: method of system and structural and logical analysis (in the study of the theoretical foundations of innovative activity and the essence of Industry 4.0); method of comparative analysis and method of generalization ( in researching the scientists’ opinions on the stages of strategy of innovative development formation and the development of the author's vision of the process of the strategy of a forward-looking innovative development implementation). Results. The conducted research has allowed to obtain the following results: the features of the forward-looking economic development are defined; specifics of enterprise's innovative activity are identified; and the main factors of influence are determined; the essence and trends of the Industry 4.0 on a global scale are analysed, the main areas of Industry 4.0 achievements’ implementation at enterprises and the ways of additional value creation are analysed; the stages of the strategy of innovative development forming at the enterprises, offered by domestic and foreign scientists, are considered, and the stages of the strategy of forward-looking innovative development formation in the conditions of Industry 4.0 are determined.

The article analyzes the industrial policy of Germany, called Industry 4.0, which is based on the creation of a new type of industrial production thanks to cyber-physical systems. The theoretical foundations of Industry 4.0 are reviewed, the transformation of the goals and methods of implementation of the project Industry 4.0 over five years is shown, and the practical results obtained are characterized. This made it possible to identify the theoretical and methodological properties of Industry 4.0 as the industrial policy of Germany, due to the specific political and socio-economic factors prevailing in the country, and also to show the consequences of the impossibility of reconciling the interests of competing economic entities without political will

AbstractThe research landscape in the area of forecasting and assessing working conditions has become increasingly difficult to understand. There are plenty of identified reasons, drivers and catchwords to describe a systemic transformation. Individual- and subject-specific approaches to describe and understand the changes to work are being developed in almost every scientific discipline, as well as by (economic) associations and actors in the sociopolitical spheres. Despite all complexity and contradictions, ‘digitalization’ seems to be one focal point when it comes to identifying independent variables to explain the ‘future of work’. The corresponding discussions, analyses, recommendations and scenarios can be found under the well-known headings ‘Work 4.0’, ‘Industry 4.0’, ‘Education 4.0’, ‘Society 4.0’, etc. In addition to systemic descriptions, oftentimes dominated by economics and business management approaches, there are changing individual, subject-inherent perceptual understandings indicating a change in social values with regard to work and its function. Ultimately, for the majority of the population and the (welfare) state, work remains the necessary prerequisite for financially securing their livelihoods.
