Job burnout is an important factor affecting the work attitude and professional behavior of family doctors. This paper reviews the measurement tools, influencing factors and intervention strategies of job burnout, it is suggested that improving job burnout can improve job satisfaction, work efficiency and reduce turnover intention of family doctors,and it is of great significance to the construction of family doctor team and the improvement of work quality.

Objectives: How to make employees concentrate on their own work, develop their potential and mobilize their enthusiasm, so as to maximize their own value has become the focus of attention of enterprises. Methods: This study analyzes the influence of employees’ work values and paternalistic leadership behavior on employees’ work efficiency, and puts forward suggestions for career development of new generation employees, as well as efficient management of new generation employees in enterprises. Results: Thereby improving the professional quality of the new generation of employees, improving their work efficiency, reducing the turnover rate of the new generation of employees and achieving a win-win situation for the new generation of employees and enterprises. Two dimensions of work values, ability and growth, status and independence, are positively correlated with turnover intention and negatively correlated with job burnout. Leadership style partially moderates the relationship between job values, turnover intention and job burnout. Conclusion: Enterprises should implement different intervention measures to relieve employees’ work pressure and negative emotions according to their different positions, so as to prevent and reduce employees’ job burnout from the source.

Abstract Background The shortage of primary medical staff is an important issue in the management of health human resources, and it is also a problem that all countries in the world need to face together. Since 2009, China has implemented a new series of medical system reforms and the shortage and loss of primary medical staff have been alleviated accordingly. However, China has a large population and it is difficult to distribute health human resources evenly across regions. This study aimed to explore the current status of turnover intention and its relationship with psychological capital, social support, and job burnout, as well as how these factors influence turnover intention of primary medical staff in Anhui province, China. Methods Using structured questionnaires to collect data, including demographic characteristics, turnover intention, psychological capital, social support, and Chinese Maslach Burnout Inventory scale. A total of 1152 primary medical workers of Anhui were investigated. Data were analyzed by t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression model. Results Total scores of turnover intention, psychological capital, social support, and job burnout of subjects were 14.15 ± 4.35, 100.09 ± 15.98, 64.93 ± 13.23 and 41.07 ± 9.437, respectively. Multiple linear regression showed the related factors of turnover intention were age, job position, work unit, and scores of job burnout. Pearson correlation showed psychological capital and social support were negatively correlated with turnover intention, while the score of job burnout was positively correlated with turnover intention. Conclusion The improvement of psychological capital and social support and the reduction of job burnout may play an important role in reducing turnover intention of primary medical staff. Primary medical managers should strengthen the humanistic care for primary medical staff, optimize the incentive mechanism, and improve internal management of medical institutions for stability.

This scientific article discusses the oral manifestations of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. This problem is relevant both for dentists and family doctors. In medicine, for a long period of time, the relationship between diseases affecting the gastrointestinal tract and their symptoms manifested in the oral cavity has been considered. Many scientists and physicians have dealt with this problem, their several opinions are presented in this article. There is a hypothesis among researchers that the oral cavity is a mirror in which all human diseases can be visible. In the oral cavity, most of the alterations occurring in the organism are manifested, due to which, with an attentive attitude to oral manifestations, the disease can be detected already at the initial stage.

For the purpose of explaining the causes, consequences and mediating effects of burnout on relevant variables, the researcher conducted a cross-sectional survey of 371 hospital employees in Taiwan. Four principal findings are made. First, with respect to the three components of burnout experienced by hospital employees, the most frequently reported is emotional exhaustion, being also the most problematic among hospital employees compared with employees in other industries. Second, while increased workload coupled with role conflict increases the likelihood of burnout among hospital employees, improved work autonomy and social support reduce its likelihood. Next, the study finds a direct correlation between employees’ perceptions of low levels of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization and high levels of organizational commitment. In contrast, employees’ perceptions of high levels of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization lead to high turnover intention. Finally, the result of the hierarchical regression analysis demonstrates a partial mediating effect of burnout in the current study. These findings suggest the need for hospital management to improve their wellbeing and incentive strategies, to embark upon regular investigations into job burnout and to adopt appropriate measures to meet the professional development needs of hospital employees.

Abstract The international ‘#1WordforFamilyMedicine’ initiative explores the identity of General Practitioners (GPs) and Family Physicians (FPs) by allowing the international Family Medicine community to collaborate on advocating for the discipline via social media. The New Zealand version attracted 83 responses on social media. Thematic analysis was performed on the responses and a ‘word cloud’ image was created based on an image identifying the country around the world - that of the silver fern. The ‘#1WorldforFamilyMedicine’ project was promoted by WONCA (World Organisation of Family Doctors) globally to help celebrate World Family Doctor Day on 19 May 2015. To date, over 80 images have been created in 60 different countries on six continents. The images represent GPs’ love for their profession and the community they serve. We hope that this initiative will help inspire current and future Family Medicine and Primary Care providers.

Abstract Introduction: In recent years, the problem of overprescribed antibiotics has become one of the most serious public health issues at global level. Clear evidence shows direct relation between antibiotics consumption and the resistance developed by the microbial agents Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate the frequency of antibiotics recommendations from other medical practitioners or pharmacists and reported self-medication, in the family doctor’s office Methods: We conducted a survey questionnaire on 184 family doctors from Romania that volunteered to gather information for one week on a daily basis. he questionnaire for adults had four questions, related to the frequency of antibiotics consumption based on the recommendation from emergency rooms or other doctors, self-medication, antibiotics recommended and delivered by pharmacies and personal recommendation of antibiotics Conclusion: We conclude that the level of antibiotics recommendations for diseases, which usually do not benefit from this type of treatment, is high, with a large proportion of adult patients coming to the family doctor for reimbursement. The level of auto-medication with antibiotics, in adults, is also elevated, in most of the cases based on leftover medication.
