This program aimed to know English learning with AKSI (Active, Creative, Relaxed and Innovative) in TK / PAUD SS Melati Jaya, BP. Raja OKU Timur. Based on the results of the teaching process in this program, it can be seen that the English learning of children with AKSI (Active, Creative, Relaxed and Innovative), through 5 method: Teaching Methods with Bilingual / bilingual concepts (English & Indonesian), 2) Student Oriented Teaching Methods, 3) Learning by Playing Teaching Methods, 4) Life Skills Teaching Methods, and 5) Fun & Easy Teaching Methods. The results of this program show that (1) The use of AKSI (Active, creative, Relaxed and Innovative) through 5 methods used in English learning can increase student motivation according to their character at an early age, (2) The application of methods found new ideas that learning that implemented with the use of learning media or teaching aids that support the achievement of learning goals and is carried out continuously and makes students not bored and very pleasant.

Nowadays, English has become one of the subjects that must be mastered. Thus, English learning should be done from an early age. This research aimed to describe how Total Physical Response (TPR) method can improve English vocabulary achievement in 5-6 years old children. TPR is the language learning approach which stimulates the children in acquiring their mother language which implemented in teaching foreign languages. The samples of this research were 5-6 years students of TK (Kindergarten) An-Nisa, Rokan Hilir, Riau Province, Indonesia with the total samples 15 students. This research used qualitative research. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, analyzing the scores of English vocabularies. The results showed that noun categories had the highest percentage in vocabulary acquisition (97.78 %), then followed by verbs (86.67 %) and adjectives (62.22 %). Meanwhile, the percentages of vocabularies that used by children were verbs (24.44 %), nouns (11.11 %), while the children were still not capable in using adjectives (0 %). The results of this research is expected to contribute to the development of  English learning for young learners.

The unexpected transition from in-person to online teaching in the spring of 2020 took university language instructors off guard. The objective of my research is to show that adapting to the new-normal (i.e. unplanned shift to online teaching) had a ripple effect on teaching methods, learning goals, student motivation. The setting of the research is a Business English course at a university in Budapest (Hungary). The autoetnographic research I carried out provides personal reflections both on the objective elements of the course: needs, learning objectives, teaching material and methods and evaluation, and on the affective elements: student motivation and emotions. The findings show that adverse circumstances can force teachers and students not only to set more realistic learning goals, focusing on the most relevant and important materials, but by keeping standards high, to find a new form of motivation.

The scenes in the trailer shown are all sorts of interesting and prominent scenesto attract the attention of potential viewers and be able to describe the entire contents of the movie without giving too much information. The trailer was created to promote theatrical release of the movie and the movie trailer was a clip containing all the parts of the advertised movie, shown before other movie screenings in the cinema, and aimed for the audience to come to watch. The best way to teach English is to use interesting material, appropriate teaching methods, the use of technology that can be one of the important and effective support tools. Meta-analysis is essentially a synthesis of a topic taken from several research reports. Based on the synthesis is drawn conclusions about the topic under study. This research uses some similar research results as basic data in conducting studies and conclusions. From the same five studies, it is concluded that Movie Trailer is effective as a learning medium because it can improve understanding in English learning.


Needs Analysis in the context of language-learning-teaching is an important process to design a certain course and syllabus. It helps course designers to set objectives, choose content, method of instruction, appropriate teaching aids, and classroom activities for different courses. This paper reports the perceptions of the researchers on the English language learning needs of the English undergraduate students of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal, Pakistan. The data is based on the researchers’ personal experience and first-hand observation of the population as the researchers have been teaching in the target context for about a decade. Furthermore, the researchers have always been in discussion with their students and colleagues about the target students’ English learning needs, preferred learning styles, motivation in learning English, interest, strengths/weaknesses, and attitude toward English learning in the target setting. Learners’ assignments, exam answer sheets, and presentations have also been used is a source of data collection. A needs analysis model proposed by Hutchinson and Waters (1987) has been applied in order to analyze the data. The results show that the students lack well grammatical sentences, have poor spellings, capitalization problems, limited vocabulary, unaware of collocations, poor/slow reading comprehension, and lack of effective presentation skills. Furthermore, most of the students have a lack of involvement in classroom activities and feel shy about speaking the English language. It was reported that the provision of authentic material, interesting activities, suitable audio-visual aids, relevant texts, language labs, and other logistic arrangements can better help them in learning the English language. The findings demonstrate that the students wished to have a learner-centered-course that helps them excel in their academic life and learning the English language.

Various difficulties in learning English which have been an obstacle for almost all students, this should be avaluable lesson to spark new ideas in group learning implementation programs. To overcome the problem of thelow level of English learning outcomes of class VII students of Bangkinang State 2 Junior High School inKampar Regency, group learning is one good alternative. The study is a classroom action research conducted inBangkinang Kota 2 Public Middle School, Kampar district. The subjects of this study were seventh gradestudents. The results of the study obtained data on teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting with apercentage of 57%, the second meeting with a percentage of 66.5%, in the second cycle at the third meeting thepercentage was 83.5%, and at the fourth meeting percentage obtained 90.5%. The observation data of studentsin the first cycle of the 1st meeting was 51%, the second meeting was 62.5%, in the second cycle the thirdmeeting was 80%, and the fourth meeting was 88%. Data on the improvement of learning outcomes in the initialdata obtained an average of 63, in daily I repetition of 75, and in the second daily test of 88.

Objectives: Different teaching aids are advocated in the medical colleges for delivery of lectures such as power point presentation, blackboard, transparency sheet, overhead projectors, extempore and lecture sheets .The aim of our study was to compare the more acceptable teaching methods between the students of Dhaka Medical College and Enam Medical College. Materials and Methods: Total one hundred students were selected from fourth year in each medical college. They were asked to fill in a fourteen item questionnaire about their perception of five lecture delivery methods. Questionnaire was properly explained. The results were analyzed separately to find out any differences between preferences of teaching methods in both medical colleges. Results: In DMC 50% students preferred traditional blackboard method ,25% PowerPoint presentations, 5% both blackboard and PowerPoint, 16% extempore and 4% lecture sheet .On the other hand, in EMC, 53% mentioned PowerPoint presentation as most acceptable, 38% blackboard, 5% combined blackboard and PowerPoint and 4% extempore. Some important comments were recorded which could be valuable for the medical teachers. Conclusion: The study showed that students of DMC clearly prefer traditional blackboard method rather than other teaching aids, whereas students of EMC prefer PowerPoint presentation. The study does not bring out any evidence based superiority of any lecture delivery method. It appears that any teaching aid can be appropriate and effective if the teachers are properly trained. This highlights the need for formal training in teaching technologies for good presentation and thus motivate the students. About 100 years have passed since the first classes of percussion instruments appeared. In the early days, when professional training intended for percussion performers dated to, teachers faced a large number of problems, in particular, lack of a full set of percussion instruments in the classroom, the availability of instructive, educational, pedagogical and concert repertoire alongside scientific and methodological literature. As a result, the work of the first educators was based, first of all, on their personal pedagogical experience and many years of performing practice. In this regard, the appearance of the first teaching aids was a milestone in the development of professional training in playing percussion instruments. For a century-long period, not so much educational and methodological literature has appeared, which was conditioned by a number of objective and subjective factors. At the same time, each methodological manual has taken its rightful place in the development of teaching methods for playing the percussion instruments. However, time is relentlessly moving forward and, unfortunately, today, they have become less in demand, as they do not always meet the modern requirements and approaches to teaching how to play the percussion instruments. Today, Ukrainian scientists and teachers have free access to a large amount of information. Therefore, they have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with interesting developments of our foreign colleagues. However, in most cases, they cannot be used in domestic pedagogical practice, as they are not adapted to the current realities of the educational system of Ukraine due to various socio-economic and cultural factors. Thus, the issues related to the need to search for the most effective forms, methods, and approaches to teaching how to play the percussion instruments is of particular importance and relevance. The article is devoted to the methods based on the playing form of instructions which are used in schools of aesthetic education and, in particular, at the classes of percussion instruments. The purpose of the work is to present new promising areas in teaching percussion playing, based on the author’s pedagogical practice. These methods were used in the study: analysis, observation, deduction and induction. The following issues are considered in the article: the influence of learners’ age characteristics on the choice of teaching methods, the essence of the group form of training and its importance for activating the pedagogical process, traditional and non-traditional approaches to teaching / learning, as well as the analysis of the methods that are widely used in the author’s teaching practice at the classes of the percussion instruments playing. As a result of the study, some new ideas were proposed related to the training at the initial stage and the ways of their implementation by introducing the methods of collective listening, imitation, “playing with the ball”, “sweet tooth”, etc. into the pedagogical practice.

<span class="fontstyle0">At the elementary school level, sains learning still monotonous and<br />uninteresting because elementary school system with classroom teachers to make<br />the teachers have difficulty in using the right strategy. Teachers are required to<br />achieve the target material that is quite a lot and should be comleted in each<br />semester.This situation resulted in the lack of attention of student in the process of<br />learning activities so that a low student motivation. Under these conditions, the<br />purpose of this research is to improve students motivation through quantum<br />teaching method of learning process in the fourth grade students of SDN 02 Wates<br />Distric jenangan, Ponorogo.This research is a classroom action research (PTK),<br />which consists of the first cycle and the second cycle. The study subjects were<br />students of class 4 SDN 02 Wates wich consist 11 students. Collecting data in this<br />study using a questionnaire to determine students motivation, and the observation<br />sheet in the form of check list to determine the activity of students. Before held<br />research student motivation is low. Then after research showed that motivation of<br />students of cycle 1 45,5% and cycle II 82% increased 36,5%. Interpretation of<br />student learning to learning in sycle 1 is 36% and cycle II increased to 82%.<br />Student activity in I cycle was 27,3% and in the II cycle increased to 81,8%. The<br />result showed that the use of quantum teaching methods can improve students<br />motivation in learning sains SDN 02 wates.<br /><br /></span>
