The study is aimed at investigating whether ICT based graphic organizer gives facilitative effect or not across the students' difference level of writing ability. The study belongs to quasi experimental study by applying counterbalance procedure to collect the data. The participants are the 26 students of English department of Palangka Raya State Islamic Institute of 2017/ 2018 academic year. To test the hypotheses, a one way ANOVA test was applied. The research findings shows that, the data fulfills the normality using Shapiro Wilk test (p= 0.420, 0.046, 0.50, and 0.638> 0.05) and homogeneity of variance using Levene’s test (p= 0.541> 0.05). It is found that the F value is45.050, with the significance (p= 0.050> 0.000). Therefore, F table 4.040<45.050>3.190at the 5% and 1% of significant level (Df= 48). It meant that there is a very statistically significant difference on students’ writing achievement both for the bright and poor students between the students who writean expository essay using ICT Based graphic organizer and those who write an expository essay without using ICT Based graphic organizer

This study focuses on Think-Talk-Write Strategy in teaching descriptive text to improve students’ writing ability. The objectives of this study are (1) to find out the students’ writing ability of the tenth grade students of MAN Demak in academic year 2014/2015 who were taught by using Think-Talk-Write (TTW). (2) to find out the students’ writing ability of the tenth grade students of MAN Demak in academic year 2014/2015 who were taught without using Think-Talk-Write (TTW). (3) to find out whether or not there was a significant difference of writing ability between the tenth grade students of MAN Demak in academic year 2014/2015 who were taught with Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy and without Think-Talk-Write (TTW). The research was Quasi-Experimental research. The subject of the study was the tenth grade students of MAN Demak. Cluster sampling is used in taking the sample. 40 students from class X-5 were selected as the experiment group and 40 students from class X-1 as the control group. The t-test was used to analyze the data. Experiment research was used here to get the data. The pre-test was given to the students on both of groups. After that, the difference treatment was given in experimental group. At the end of the research, the post-test was given to both of groups. The count of the mean score of the experimental class was 79.95 and the count of mean score of the control class was 76.17. It shows that teaching descriptive text by using Think-Talk-Write (TTW) Strategy gave better result as indicated significant statistical t-test computation, that the t-table value (t5% = 2.03 and t1% = 2.80) is less than t0 = 13.09 (2.03<13.09>2.80). It could be seen that there is a significant difference in writing ability of the tenth grade students of MAN Demak after being taught using Think-Talk-Write (TTW) Strategy. The researcher offers some suggestions in this research. The school should give good facilities and many strategies for teaching and learning process. For the teacher, the teacher should give variation teaching especially using new techniques and strategies in teaching descriptive text to improve students’ writing ability. For the students, the students have to do more active, confident and creative.

The objectives of this research were to find out (1) whether or not the use of Edmodo virtual class increases the motivation of the students of SMA Negeri 24 Karanrang island Pangkep in writing English and (2) the extent to which Edmodo virtual class increases students writing achievement. The population was all the students of SMA Negeri 24 Karanrang island at Pangkep regency in academic year 2018/2019. The students in this remote area were consisted of 30 students merely. Involving two classes (class X and class XI), selected by using total sampling technique, this research employed quasi experimental design (15 students as experimental class that was taught by using Edmodo virtual class and 15 students as control class that was taught by lecturing way). The data then collected through questionnaire (of writing motivation) and writing test, then analyzed through descriptive statistics and inferential statistic (SPSS) program version 22. The result gained from the data analysis showed that (1) the use of Edmodo virtual class in writing motivation was significantly different from the existing way. (2) The use of Edmodo virtual class in writing achievement increases the students writing achievement

Learning english vocabulary using jeopardy game technique make the studentsfeel interesting and grasping new words easily. Therefore, the purpose of this researchis to find out whether or not there is significant effect of jeopardy game on grade sevenstudents’ vocabulary knowledge. The sampels were taken using cluster randomsampling technique, with the total number of sampels are 74 students which aredivided into two classes. The location is at MTs Al-Ihsan Bekasi. The research methodadopted was quasi experimental with research design was post-test only control group.To collect data, the students were given instruments in the form of objective, multiplechoice each numbering 30 for both control class and Experimental class. The findingsshowed that the jeopardy class students got mean score 80 higher than non-jeopardyclass students who got 77. It indicates that there is a significant difference in each classand can be seen from the analysis using one way ANOVA that produced (Sig.) valueof 0.002 was smaller than (<) Alpha 0.05, Ho is rejected and HA is accepted. Itshowed tha there is significant effect of jeopardy game on grade seven students’vocabulary knowledge at Mts Al-Ihsan Bekasi in the Academic Year of 2016-2017.

Writing as one of the four skills has always been as a part of the syllabus in teaching of English. The techniques presented as a solution in this research about writing ability are Jigsaw and Scaffolding technique. There are three problems of the study, (1) Is Jigsaw technique effective to improve students’ writing descriptive text ability? (2) Is Scaffolding technique effective to improve students’ writing descriptive text ability? (3) Is there any significant difference of students’ writing descriptive text ability by using Jigsaw and Scaffolding technique? The objective of this research is (1) To know whether Jigsaw technique is effective to improve students’ writing descriptive text ability. (2) To know whether Scaffolding technique is effective to improve students’ writing descriptive text ability. (3) To know whether there is any significant difference of students’ writing descriptive text ability by using Jigsaw and Scaffolding technique. The method of investigation is held through quantitative experimental research. The researchers uses modified pretest-posttest control group design. In this experiment, the employees control group pre test post test design. The researchers is conducted at the grade X of State Senior High School 1 Seputih Raman in academic year 2012/2013. The popolation in this research is 210 students. It is consist 7 classes and each class consist 30. The researchers takes 90 students from total population as the sample. 30 students as experiment class of Jigsaw, 30 students as experiment class of Scaffolding, and 30 as control class that matching based on classification of student level. And the researchers use cluster random sampling as technique sampling. To analyze data, the researchers uses One Way ANOVA. The researchers got the result of Ft 1% = 7.31 and Ft 5% = 4.08 and it seems that FO > Ft  1% and Ft  5% in which FO = 7.31 > Ft  1% = 7.31 and Ft  5% = 4.08. The criteria of One Way ANOVA is FO ≥ Ft 1%, Ha is accepted. So, there is any difference result of students’ writing ability using Jigsaw and Scaffolding technique. Jigsaw technique is more effective than Scaffolding technique toward students writing descriptive text ability at the grade X of State Senior High School 1 Seputih Raman academic year 2012/2013. The suggestions are to raise the students’ writing descriptive text ability, it uses Jigsaw technique in writing instruction. The students must be fun and enjoy in using Jigsaw technique.

This research aimed at finding out the improvement of the students’ writing ability and interest by using Instagram as media. To find out the improvements, the writer used pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design and questionnaire. The population of this research was the eleventh-grade students’ at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar, academic year 2017/2018. The sample was class XI IPA taken by purposive sampling technique which consisted of 10 students. It employed five meetings (one meeting for pre-test, three meetings for treatment, and one meeting for post-test and questionnaire). It employed writing test as instrument. The research findings indicated that the application of using Instagram was effective in improving the students’ writing skill in term of content and organization. It was proved by the value of the total t-test was 6.30, which was higher than the value of t-table (1.833). This indicated that (H1) was accepted, and (H0) was rejected. It means that there was a significant difference of the students’ writing skill before and after using Instagram in classroom. The students’ interest in writing also improved after the treatment. It was shown by students’ answers in the questionnaire. Most students gave positive respons toward the use of instagram to improve their interst in writing, even they think that this method can be applied in classroom to attract their attention and interest. Therefore, this research is very useful for learning process as a reference for teachers to teach in classroom.

The background of this study is the lack of students’ ability to write Sundanese writing. This study has a purpose to describe students’ writing ability towards Sundanese writing based on the form, grammatical writing, also manners before using memo cards game students’ writing ability towards Sundanese writing based on the form, grammatical writing, also manners after using memo cards game the effectiveness of memo cards game to help increasing the students’ writing ability in Sundanese writing based on the form, grammatical writing, and also manners. Using the quasi-experimental research and one-group pretest and posttest design. This study collected the data using tests to the Junior High School students grade VII-A in SMPN 2 Lembang, academic year 2018/2019 which is 37 students. The results show that: 1) students’ writing ability towards Sundanese writing before using memo cards game is about 60,13 from the 70 of passing grade; 2) students’ writing ability towards Sundanese writing after using memo cards game increase to 74,66; and 3) there is a significant difference between the students’ writing before using memo cards game and after using memo cards game. We can see from the hypothesis experiment that the value of Asimp. Sig (2-Tailed) is 0,000. We can conclude that the memo card game technique can mrove the writing skills of Sundanese grade VII-A junior high school student in academic year 2018/2019.AbstrakLatar belakang penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kemampuan dalam menulis aksara Sunda siswa kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Lembang taun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda siswa kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Lembang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik permainan kartu memo berdasarkan bentuk, tatacara penulisan, serta kaidah-kaidahnya, dan perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan menulis aksara Sunda sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik permainan kartu memo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest and posttest. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan tes kepada siswa kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Lembang tahun ajar 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Vocabulary considered one of the important things to learn for students, the vocabulary is basic thing that students must be mastered in foreign language lessons, especially in English. Without vocabulary students will have difficulty in mastering skills in English such as writing, reading, listening and speaking.  Therefore, it is very important to find out the solution to enhance students’ vocabulary. The objective of the research is to find out whether or not using Jumbled letters can improve the students vocabulary of the tenth grade students in MAN 2 Barru and to find out whether or not using Crossword puzzle can improve the students vocabulary of the tenth grade students in MAN 2 Barru. This research applied quasi-experimental group design with two groups experimental and control class. The population of this research was the tenth grade students of MAN 2 Barru in academic year 2018/2019. The Total sample of the research was taken by using clustering random sampling which consisted of 141 students. From two classes taken from the population of the tenth grade students of MAN 2 Barru, X MIA 1 as the experimental class consisted 29 students and X MIA 3 as the control class that consisted 29 students. The result of the data analysis showed that there was a significant difference of students’ vocabulary before and after teaching vocabulary through jumbled word letters. The value of t-test pre-test 2.09 was higher than t-table 2.000, and the value of post-test 4.62 was higher than t-table 2.000, at the level significance a =0.05 and degree of freedom (df) = 56. It can be concluded that jumbled word letters can enhance the vocabulary of the tenth grade students’ of MAN 2 Barru

ThepopulationincludedallthesixthgradestudentsofSDITAlHasanahKotaBengkulu in  academic  year  2015/2016,  which  consisted  of  77  students.  The  sampleswere  52 studentsthatwere taken fromtwo classes.Theexperimentalclass receiveda treatmentby usinganimatedcartoonvideoswithbimodalsubtitles, while thecontrolclasswas taught byusinganimatedcartoonvideoswithoutsubtitles.A pre-testwasgiven tobothclasses beforetreatment.Thedata wereanalyzedbyusingSPSS16for t-testformula.Theresults show that, firstly, therewasa statistically significantdifferencebetween thegroups in readingcomprehension scores.Therefore, itwasconcluded thattheuse ofsubtitled animated cartoon videoscould improvestudents’ reading comprehension. Secondly, for reading  comprehension  aspects,  the  experimental  class  and  the  control  class  were different inthe literalperformanceaspect.However,intheinferenceperformance,it showed  no  significant  difference.  Based  on  the  results,  it  wasrecommended  to  use subtitled animatedcartoonvideosastheteaching aidinteachingreadingcomprehension

Biology is a science that has fundamental dimensions. Biology studies about living things. One of the things learned in Biology is the concept of Animalia. Inquiry learning model based on the cooperative script. The research referred to quasi-experimental research by applying inquiry learning model based on Cooperative Script in X MIPA 5 class as an experimental class and STAD learning model in X MIPA 1 class as a control class conducted at SMAN 1 Arjasa, Jember in the even semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The inquiry learning model based on cooperative script aimed to improve students' learning achievement. The result of data were analyzed  by using covariance analysis (ANAKOVA) which showed that the inquiry learning model based on cooperative script had a significant effect of p = 0,000 with the results of 49.95 in the control class and 54.12 in the experimental class on students' cognitive of grade X at SMAN 1 Arjasa, Jember. The test results of the independent sample t-test implemented in the invertebrate concept had a significant difference to psychomotor students at p = 0,000 with the results of 80.40 in the experimental class and 67.67 in the control class which revealed that from the results obtained both included in the good category.

The objectives of this research are to investigate whether there is difference of influence student learning result after application of cooperative script learning model assisted mind map with direct instruction learning model on the subject of Program Linear class X of SMA Plus Al-Amanah Balongsumber Dander Bojonegoro in the academic year of 2014/2015. This study is a quasi-experimental study using a study design of post-test - only control design. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this research is class X-B as an experimental class and class X-C  as the control class. Data mathematics learning result obtained using the technique of tests, and the tests used in the form of an objective test. Data were analyzed by an independent comparative statistical t-test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that: there is a significant difference between students' mathematics learning result that learned through the cooperative scriptlearning model assisted mind map with the students that learned through direct instruction learning. This suggests there are differences in the effect of the cooperative script learning model assisted mind map with direct learning model mathematics instruction on learning result of students on the subject of Program Linear second semester of class X SMA Plus Al-Amanah Bojonegoro.
