The objectives of this research are to investigate whether there is difference of influence student learning result after application of cooperative script learning model assisted mind map with direct instruction learning model on the subject of Program Linear class X of SMA Plus Al-Amanah Balongsumber Dander Bojonegoro in the academic year of 2014/2015. This study is a quasi-experimental study using a study design of post-test - only control design. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this research is class X-B as an experimental class and class X-C  as the control class. Data mathematics learning result obtained using the technique of tests, and the tests used in the form of an objective test. Data were analyzed by an independent comparative statistical t-test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that: there is a significant difference between students' mathematics learning result that learned through the cooperative scriptlearning model assisted mind map with the students that learned through direct instruction learning. This suggests there are differences in the effect of the cooperative script learning model assisted mind map with direct learning model mathematics instruction on learning result of students on the subject of Program Linear second semester of class X SMA Plus Al-Amanah Bojonegoro.

The final project was about the use of information gap technique to improve speaking skill. The objective of this study was to find out whether Information Gap technique was effective to improve students’ speaking skill or not. A quasi experimental research design was used in this study. The population of this study was the eleventh graders of MAN 2 Semarang in the academic year 2014/2015 with the number of population around 210 students. Non-equivalent groups’ pretest-posttest design was used in this study. Two classes were taken as the samples with around 60 students. The data were collected by using several activities. They were pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The result of this study shows that the pretest average of experimental class was 45.81 while the pretest average of control class was 42.12. After giving treatment for four meetings the posttest average of experimental class was 70.76 and while the posttest average control class was 49.48. The result of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference. It was supported by t-test result, the significant difference in the result of posttest between control and experimental class was 0.00 < 0.05. It means that the use of Information Gap technique in teaching speaking was better than the conventional method. It could be concluded that H1 was accepted that the use of Information Gap Technique was effective to improve students’ speaking skill

The objectives of the research were (1) to analyze and find out  the students’ ability in writing descriptive text who are taught by using realia, (2) to analyze and find out  the students’ ability in writing descriptive text who are taught without using realia, (3) also to analyze and find out whether there is significant difference between students who are taught by using realia and those taught without using realia. Quasi experimental design was used with the population of 256 seventh grade students of SMP N 4 Semarang in the academic year 2017/2018. By using purposive sampling technique, there were two classes chosen as the sample of this study; vii a and vii b. The instruments of collecting data used were tests; pre-test and post-test. After the data were collected, they were analysed using t-test. The findings were as follows: (1) the ability in writing descriptive text by the students taught using realia was good with the mean of the post-test was 80.21. (2) the ability in writing descriptive text by the students taught without using realia was adequate with the mean of the post-test was 74.44. (3) there was significant difference of the two group students. t-test 4.89 > t-table 2.00. therefore, ha was accepted that realia was effective as a media in teaching writing of descriptive text.

The study is aimed at investigating whether ICT based graphic organizer gives facilitative effect or not across the students' difference level of writing ability. The study belongs to quasi experimental study by applying counterbalance procedure to collect the data. The participants are the 26 students of English department of Palangka Raya State Islamic Institute of 2017/ 2018 academic year. To test the hypotheses, a one way ANOVA test was applied. The research findings shows that, the data fulfills the normality using Shapiro Wilk test (p= 0.420, 0.046, 0.50, and 0.638> 0.05) and homogeneity of variance using Levene’s test (p= 0.541> 0.05). It is found that the F value is45.050, with the significance (p= 0.050> 0.000). Therefore, F table 4.040<45.050>3.190at the 5% and 1% of significant level (Df= 48). It meant that there is a very statistically significant difference on students’ writing achievement both for the bright and poor students between the students who writean expository essay using ICT Based graphic organizer and those who write an expository essay without using ICT Based graphic organizer

The objectives of this research was to find out whether or not there was any significant difference in vocabulary mastery between students who were taught by using talking stick method or students who were taught without using talking stick method. The research was limited on word classes consisted of noun, adjective and verb in descriptive texts with the topic of the material was animal, people, thing, and places. This research was conducted by using quantitative method with a quasi-experimental group design. The experimental group students were taught by using Talking Stick method, while the control group students were not taught by using Talking Stick method. The samples were 74 students that were taken from the eight grade students of MTs Annajah Petaling in academic year 2015/2016. The data were obtained through test, observation and documentation. The result of the test was analyzed by using paired sample t-test in SPSS 16 (Statistical Package for Social science).Based on the results analysis, there was a significance different between students who were taught by using Talking Stick method and the students who were not taught by using Talking Stick method. It was known from the result of mean of post-test in the experimental group (67.70) was higher than the mean of post-test in the control group (65.54). In addition, there was a significant difference in vocabulary mastery between students’ who were taught by using Talking Stick method and those who were not. Therefore, Talking Stick method was one of effective factor that could improve students’ vocabulary mastery.

The key goal of the paper is to study the influence of blended learning on the academic perfor-mance of students of a statistics Bluman course at the University of Ajman. The study was implemented by means of a quasi-experimental design. The sample of the study was 268 students, grouped into two groups: one experimental group (n = 135) that used blended learning; and the other a control group (n = 133) which was educated using the traditional method. The researchers prepared the achievement test as a tool of study after verifying its validity and reliability. The findings indicated significant statistical differences among the mean scores on the students’ post-test achievement in the two study groups, in favor of experimental group students, who were educated through blended learning. Furthermore, the outcomes showed that the scores of the experimental group students were diverse based on the variable of gender (in favor of females), and based on the variable of students’ academic year (supporting those students in the fourth academic year). However, no statistically significant difference was found among the students according to the variable of the college in which they studied. The study recommends that mixed learning is to be employed more broadly to include various educational fields.

Most  of  the  students  felt  difficult  in  learning  a  language because they had little vocabulary. It was caused by the students were easy forgetting new words they had learned. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate whether there was any significant effect of using Mnemonic strategies on students’ vocabulary achievements at the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Raha. This research used quasi experimental design and the population was all seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Raha in academic year 2017/2018. The samples of this study were class VII11 as the experimental group and VII10 as the control group. The research instrument was using 40 questions of vocabulary test. To collect the data, the researcher gave pre-test, taught by Mnemonic strategies, and gave post-test.  There were four techniques that applied in the learning process were rhyme, keyword, visualization, and narrative chain. The result showed students’ mean score in experimental group was 53.54 and 74.71 at post-test, while mean score in control group was 57.27 and 68.75 in post-test. Based on the calculation of T-test, score of tcount  = 5.828 was higher than ttable   =  2.00  and  the  pvalue   =  0.000  was  lower  than = 0.05. Therefore, could be concluded that there was a significant effect of using mnemonic strategies on students’ vocabulary achievement at the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Raha.
