ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh tahta tertinggi dan perlawanan kaum subaltern pada novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dengan menggunakan teori postkolonialisme Gayatri Spivak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini  mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data novel Arok Dedes  yang berkisah tentang kudeta di Tanah Jawa. Data penelitian ini adalah kata, kalimat, paragraf, yang terdapat dalam novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer dengan menggunakan teori poskolonial Ggayatri Spivak. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi atau pustaka. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisia deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian adalah pengaruh tahta tertinggi dan perlawanan kaum subaltern pada novel Arok Dedes karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer.Kata kunci: Subaltern, poskolonial, pengaruh tahta, perlawananABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe the influence of the highest throne and the resistance of the subalterns on the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer by using the postcolonialism theory of Gayatri Spivak. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The approach in this study using a qualitative approach because in this study used Arok Dedes story novel as data sources  which is about a coup in Java. This research data is words, sentences, paragraphs, contained in Arok Dedes novel by Pramoedya Anan ta Toer by using postcolonial Ggayatri Spivak theory. Data collection techniques in this study used the method of documentation or literature . The data analysis technique of this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study are the influence of the highest throne and the resistance of the subalterns on the novel Arok Dedes by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Keywords: Subaltern, postcolonial, influence of throne, resistance

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan informasi tentang implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SD Sukorejo Kecamatan Gurah Kabupaten Kediri khususnya pada tahap pembiasaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data yakni Kepala Sekolah, Guru Kelas dan siswa. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data melalui tiga tahap yakni data reduksi, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di SD Sukorejo Gurah Kediri, penerapan literasi masih sampai pada tahap pembiasaan. Upaya sekolah untuk menggiatkan gerakan literasi adalah dengan cara membiasakan membaca buku non pelajaran 15 menit sebelum kelas dimulai, menata lingkungan yang mendukung literasi dan melibatkan mitra dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi. Terdapat beberapa hal yang menjadi faktor pendukung dalam kegiatan ini yakni semangat siswa-siswi dalam membaca buku, terdapat buku pengayaan yang disediakan dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak. Sedangkan faktor penghambat pembiasaan kegiatan membaca adalah belum optimalnya pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah ini karena belum sepenuhnya rutin dilaksanakan. ABSTRACT This study tried to describe about the implementation of School Literacy Movement in Sukorejo Elementary School in Kediri, especially in the process of literacy habituation and development. The research used descriptive qualitative research. Data sources are Principal, Class Teachers and students. Data collection in this study was by observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis technique through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results showed that at SD Sukorejo Gurah Kediri, the application of literacy was still at the stage of habituation and development. The principal tried to intensify the literacy movement are by getting used to read non-lesson books 15 minutes before class starts, arranging an environment that supports literacy and involving partners in the implementation of literacy activities. There are several aspects can support school literacy in this school that are enthusiasm of students in reading books, enrichment books provided and support from various parties. Whereas the inhibiting factor for the habit of reading activities is the not yet optimal implementation of the school literacy movement because it has not been fully routinely implemented.

Al-Ghazali and Zarnuji are two figures who have an international reputation, also have broad insights about the teachings of Islam. Even though both of them live in two countries with different cultures and cultures, they have the same vision and mission in eradicating ignorance and elevating human dignity, namely through education. In the process of education, each of the prosecutors of knowledge will experience a process of seeking and seeking knowledge, so that in the process has ethics and manners in studying.The formulation of the problem in research is How does ethics study Al-Ghazali's perspective? How does ethics study Zarnuji's perspective? How is the comparative analysis of Al Ghazali and Al Zarnuji's views on ethics studying? The purpose of this research is to find out the ethics of studying Al-Ghazali's perspective, to know the ethics of studying Zarnuji's perspective, to find out a comparative analysis of the views of Al Ghazali and Al Zarnuji about ethics studying. And the benefits are adding to the insight and knowledge of researchers about the ethics of studying in the perspective of Al-Ghazali and Al Zarnuji, to further serve as a reference in attitude and behavior.The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method with historical, textual and comparative approaches. As for the analysis technique, researchers used descriptive analysis techniques through a qualitative approach in the form of descriptions.The results of his research are Ethics studying in Al Ghazali's perspective there are ten points, while ethics studying in Al Zarnuji's perspective there are five points. Ethical equality in seeking knowledge in the view of Al Ghazali and Al Zarnuji is, to straighten out intentions accompanied by cleansing the heart and soul, the prosecutor of knowledge should not involve much in worldly affairs, he must respect and respect science, teachers, and experts. The difference in ethics requires that the perspective of Al Ghazali and Al Zarnuji be reviewed in terms of the nature of the prosecutor of knowledge, aspects of the teacher or instructor, as well as the qualifications of the knowledge pursued or demanded.

Abstract: This article is the result of research on the novel of Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 by Habiburrahman El Shirazy which aims to describe the values of aqeedah in the novel. This research is library research using a qualitative approach that is interpreted descriptive analysis. The data collection method used by the writer is the documentation method. Then the data analyzed by the researcher uses content analysis techniques. The results showed that the aqeedah aspect found the values of aqeedah in the pillars of faith such as believing in Allah, believing in the angels of Allah, believing in the books of Allah, believing in the messengers of Allah, believing in the last day, and believing in destiny (qadha and qadar).   Keywords: Nilai-nilai, aqidah, dan novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2.

The research aims to analyze and describe exocentric phrase that include the form, stucture, and semantics (the relation between grammatical elements) that contained in the novel Kembang Kembang Petingan by Holisoh M.E. In this study used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Technique used in collecting data is a literature study. The data analysis technique used in this study is direct elemental analysis techniques. The data source used in this study is Novel Kembang Kembang Petingan by Holisoh M.E. The results of this research have 1133 phrase with 1658 frekuesi and describe three things, (1) exocentric phrase divided into two types of phrase, direktif phrase and relative phrase, (2) stucture of exocentric phrase have four general stucture and eleven substucture, and (3) semantics (the  relation between grammatical elements) have twelve relation gramatical of direktif phrase and two relation gramatical of relative phrase in the Kembang novel Kembang Petingan by Holisoh ME. Based on research can be concluded phrase exocentric in Kembang Kembang Petingan novel by Holisoh M.E can be examined in aspects form, stucture, and relation grammatical elements. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan frasa eksosentrik yang meliputi bentuk, struktur, dan semantik (hubungan antarunsur gramatikal) yang terdapat dalam novel Kembang Kembang Petingan karya Holisoh M.E. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah tehnik studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis unsur langsung. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel Kembang Kembang Petingan karya Holisoh M.E. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 1133 frasa eksosentrik dengan frekuensi 1658 kali, lalu mendeskripsikan tiga hal yaitu (1) bentuk frasa eksosentik yang terdiri atas data 2 jenis frasa yaitu frasa direktif dan relatif, (2) struktur frasa eksosentrik yang memiliki 4 pola utama dan 11 subpola, dan (3) semantik (hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal) yang terdiri atas 12 hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal frasa direktif dan 2 hubungan makna antarunsur gramatikal frasa relatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa frasa eksosentrik mempunyai bentuk, struktur, dan hubungan gramatikal antarunsurnya yang berkaitan dengan kajian struktur dan semantik.

The research on the farming vocabulary of the Paser ethnic is important as a form of preservation and inventory of the vocabulary. This study aims to describe the dictions and meaning of the farming vocabulary of the Paser ethnic in the Long Ikis District. This study uses lexical semantic studies to analyze the research data. The data were collected from informants through note-taking techniques and interviews with voice recorder tools. Analysis of research data using descriptive analysis techniques includes the analysis of linguistic (semantic) data. The data analysis technique in this study used the descriptive analysis, namely by analyzing linguistic (semantic) data. The data analysis model used is an interactive model analysis consisting of three components of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research and discussion, there were 35 farming vocabularies of the Paser ethnic which consisted of five classifications, namely (a) pre-farming process totaling 9 vocabulary, (b) tools to open the fields consist of 4 vocabularies, (c) the process of planting and caring consists of 4 vocabularies, (d) the process of harvesting and post-harvestingconsist of 9 vocabularies, and (e) tools for harvesting and post-harvestingconsist of 9 vocabularies. The analysis of the concept of semantic meaning is also associated with the cultural meaning of the local community because it can clarify the meaning of the farming vocabularies.

Language and social are two inseparable aspects in social life. Therefore, it is not uncommon that the phenomenon of language is mainly over code and code mixing. Code switching and code mixing can occur on many sides of a language, including written languages, types of literary works. But unfortunately there is still little that makes literary works as objects of study. Therefore, researchers examine literary works using descriptive qualitative research types. Suber research data is a 3-color realm novel by A. Fuadi. This research data is in the form of dialogue / speech of characters in the novel that contain code switching and code mixing. The analysis technique used is reading, identification, and note taking techniques.

This research was conducted with the aim of describing the functions of legend of lake sarangan stories in Sarangan Village, Kec. Plaosan Kab. East Java Magetan. This research includes qualitative research based on naturalistic approaches. The research data is based on the results of interviews with informants. Data is collected by observation, recording, interviewing and recording methods. Data analysis was carried out in five stages, namely (1) transcribing oral data in written form, (2) summarizing and translating, (3) interpreting. Analysis of the data used in this study is content analysis techniques (conten analysis). The content analysis technique is used in analyzing the function of folklore in the Sarangan lake. The results of the study show that there are functions that include (1) entertainment, (2) institutions of cultural institutions, (3) education, (4) social order, (5) group solidarity, (6) social criticism, (7) pleasant divorce from reality, and (8) potential weapons in society.

Linguistic qualitative research using appraisal theory is descriptively undertaken on the English websites of the sharia hotels in Surakarta and Yogyakarta. The data are analyzed on the basis of Appraisal Theory coined by Martin & White (2005) relating to kinds of attitude reflected by language that are negotiated in the texts, level of engaged feelings, and social values. This research investigates the kinds of attitude reflected by language on the data sources available on the websites of the sharia hotels in Surakarta and Yogyakarta. Using document analysis technique, the research data are analyzed in the level of words in the clauses and sentences. The research found various language attitude implemented in the sharia hotels in Surakarta and Yogyakarta in attracting customers’ attention. This research does not only limit itself in finding the dominant factors, but also analyzing meanings of using those attitudes. Penelitian kualitatif bahasa dengan teori appraisal ini dilakukan pada berbagai situs hotel syariah berbahasa Inggris di Surakarta dan Yogyakarta secara deskriptif. Data dianalisis dengan Teori Appraisal yang dikemukakan oleh Martin & White (2005) terkait beragam jenis sikap yang direfleksikan dengan bahasa yang dinegosiasikan dalam teks, kekuatan perasaan yang terlibat, dan nilai sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan jenis sikap yang direfleksikan pada bahasa pada sumber data yaitu berbagai situs hotel syariah di Surakarta dan Yogyakarta. Dengan teknik analisis dokumen, data penelitian dianalisis pada tingkat kata pada klausa dan kalimat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan beragam sikap berbahasa yang dibangun oleh hotel-hotel syariah di Surakarta dan Yogyakarta dalam menarik perhatian konsumen. Penelitian ini tidak hanya terbatas pada memperoleh mana yang dominan, tetapi juga menganalisis makna dari penggunaan sikap itu.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (a) mendeskripsikan dan mengungkapkan adanya hubungan kultur pendidikan pesantren al-Madinah dengan radikalisme, (b) mengungkapkan kultur pendidikan pesantren radikal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, partisipasi, interview dan dokumentasi. Sementara teknik analisis datanya adalah teknik analisis induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (a) kultur pendidikan pesantren al-Madinah memiliki kecenderungan pada radikalisme dan ekslusifisme, (b) kultur pendidikan pesantren memiliki kurikulum jihad sebagai bagian dari pemahaman agama yang dikembangkan dalam pendidikan pesantren. Hal tersebut menunjukan adanya perubahan kultur pendidikan pesantren yang mengarah pada heterogenitas pola, model, tujuan dan kultur pendidikan yang dikembangkan.  Kultur pesantren yang cenderung pada radikalisme, sejauh ini tidak hanya dapat diukur dari adanya kurikulum jihad atau lainnya akan tetapi dapat diamati dari muatan hidden curriculum yang cenderung dapat diukur melalui gejala dan ekspresi perilaku santri dan ustad. Misalnya segala perangkat nilai, pemikiran, syimbol, sistem, pola, proses pendidikan dan tradisi yang melekat dalam seluruh kegiatan, baik pada aspek yang dapat di amati (tangible) seperti perilaku fisik, bangunan, sikap fanatik, dan syimbol maupun yang tidak teramati (intangible) seperti aspek motivasi, keyakinan, antusisme, ideologi, niat, keberkahan, dan pemikiran..Kata kunci: pesantren, pendidikan, radikalisme, kultur CULTURE OF PESANTREN EDUCATION AND RADICALISMAbstractThis study aims to, (a) describe and disclose their relationship education culture Pesantren al-Madinah with radicalism, (b) disclose the culture of radical pesantren education. This study was descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using observation, participation, interview and documentation. While data analysis technique is inductive analysis techniques. The results showed that (a) the culture of al-Madinah Islamic boarding schools have a tendency to radicalism and exclusiveness, (b) the culture of jihad education schools have the same curriculum as part of the understanding of religion that developed in pesantren education. It shows the change in the culture of pesantren education leading to heterogeneity in patterns, models, goals and educational culture developed. Pesantren culture that tends to the radicalism, has so far not only be measured from their curriculum or other jihad but can be observed from the charge hidden curriculum which tends to be measured by the expression of symptoms and behavior of students and chaplains. For example all the values, thoughts, symbols, system, pattern, process of education and tradition inherent in all activities, both on aspects that can be observed (tangible) such as physical behavior, building, bigotry, and symbols and unobservable (intangible ) as aspects of motivation, confidence, enthusiasm, ideology, faith, blessings, and thinking.Keywords: School, education, radicalism, culture

During the learning process students tend to be passive and learning is centered on the teacher, so activity and learning outcomes are low. One of the efforts that can be done is the provision of rewards and punishments during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the provision of rewards and punishments. This type of research is classroom action research using a qualitative approach, which is supported by a quantitative approach. This research consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study involved 33 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Padang. Research data obtained through observation sheets, quizzes, learning outcomes tests, and field notes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on research data in first and second cycles, it shows that the activities and learning outcomes of students have increased. This is indicated by an increase in learning outcomes from 40% in the first cycle to 67% in the second cycle. So, it can be concluded that learning by giving rewards and punishments could increase students' activities and learning outcomes.
