During the learning process students tend to be passive and learning is centered on the teacher, so activity and learning outcomes are low. One of the efforts that can be done is the provision of rewards and punishments during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the provision of rewards and punishments. This type of research is classroom action research using a qualitative approach, which is supported by a quantitative approach. This research consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study involved 33 students of class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 8 Padang. Research data obtained through observation sheets, quizzes, learning outcomes tests, and field notes. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Based on research data in first and second cycles, it shows that the activities and learning outcomes of students have increased. This is indicated by an increase in learning outcomes from 40% in the first cycle to 67% in the second cycle. So, it can be concluded that learning by giving rewards and punishments could increase students' activities and learning outcomes.

This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Implementation study consisted of two cycles of cycle one and cycle 2 with stages in each cycle of planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class XI-IPA Senior High School of  2 Bau-Bau with a total of 35 students. Research instruments and data collection techniques consisted of misconception tests, learning outcomes tests, psychomotor observation sheets, and affective observation sheets—data analysis technique using descriptive analysis of quantitative and qualitative consisting of completeness in classical analysis. The study showed that an increase in the learning outcomes of cycle one and cycle 2 in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. While on a review of misconceptions changes from cycle 1 to cycle 2. So it can be said that  ICI model can reduce student misconceptions and can improve student learning outcomes.

ABSTRAC The learning process of Natural Sciences (IPA) in MI Tarbiyatul Ulum Jembrak Pabelan District. Semarang, still uses the expository method where the teacher explains the material and students only listen and take notes. So the method used by the teacher in the learning process does not improve the learning outcomes of science. It requires student participation in other activities such as asking questions, doing exercises, doing homework (homework), going to the front of the class, holding discussions, and issuing ideas or ideas.By applying the picture and picture method the type of research the researcher uses is Classroom Action Research, which includes 4 stages: planning, action, observation, reflection. The results of the implementation are evaluated in reflection to compile improvements up to two cycles, while observation, documentation, and formative tests are used research data collection techniques.Based on classroom action research that has been done, it can be obtained that the learning outcomes of students from the first cycle reached KKM by 16 students or 74.09% with the second cycle reaching KKM by 20 students or 90.9%. So there is an increase in learning outcomes of 4 students or 18.18%. It can be concluded that the method of picture and picture can attract the attention of students so that it can improve the learning outcomes of science, this is shown by students actively involved in the learning process in class and satisfying test results. Keywords : Picture and Picture, Learning Outcomes, Classifying Animals

Fromthe research results obtained that the model implemented in the learning lab inkuiri electric base, in general anincrease in the learning process and results of each cycle. Cognitive test results through the pre test and post test onthe cycle I in terms of percentage of students who reach the value of > 0% 6 is increased to 94.875%, in cycle IIincreased from 6.25% to 93.375%, and the third cycle of 3.125% increase to 100%. The results of the task undertakenby the students increased each cycle. Then for the activity sheets teachers viewed from the observation activitycategory shows an increase of the cycle is the cycle I and II into either category III cycle. For student activity showsmost categories of cycle I and cycle II rose to the category in general the third cycle. Impressions and attitudes ofstudents through filling the questionnaire stated that by applying the learning model inkuiri conditions become moreactive class, students become able to appear in her opinions.
