The PBL Model Implementation to Improve Explanation Text Writing Ability Students of Class XI MIA-1 SMA Negeri 14 Maluku Tengah ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MIA-1 SMA Negeri 14 Maluku Tengah. Data penelitian berupa hasil tes menulis teks eksplanasi setiap siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIA-1 SMA Negeri 14 Maluku Tengah tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 semester genap yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Nilai akhir setiap siswa diperoleh dari jumlah jawaban benar dibagi jumlah soal kemudian dikalikan dengan skor ideal (100). Nilai akhir tersebut kemudian dikonversikan sesuai kriteria yang ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan  kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI MIA-1 SMA Negeri 14 Maluku Tengah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Hal itu terlihat dari  jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM pada siklus I yakni 16 siswa menjadi 28 siswa pada siklus II. Kata kunci: kemampuan menulis, model pembelajaran problem based learning, PTK, teks eksplanasi. ABSTRACTThe aim of this study is to improve the ability to write explanatory texts for students of class XI MIA-1 SMA Negeri 14 Maluku Tengah. The research data were in the form of test results in writing explanatory text each cycle. The research subjects were students of class XI MIA-1 SMA Negeri 14 Maluku Tengah in the academic year 2020/2021 even semester, totaling 36 students. The final score for each student is obtained from the number of correct answers divided by the number of questions then multiplied by the ideal score (100). The final score is then converted according to the specified criteria. The results showed that there was an increase in the writing explanatory text ability for class XI MIA-1 SMA Negeri 14 Maluku Tengah using the problem based learning model. This can be seen from the number of students who reached the KKM (minimum standard of completeness in achieving learning result) in cycle I, namely 16 students to 28 students in cycle II.Keyword: writing skills, problem based learning model, PTK (Action research), explanatory text.

This study aims to determine and improve students' understanding of the Information System Audit material using the problem-based learning model. It is hoped that this research can provide benefits for the development of effective learning models to support the formation of the personality and scientific qualities of students and improve the skills of lecturers in developing learning models. This research is a classroom action research with a problem-based learning model. The research subjects are students studying at the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Halu Oleo University in the 2018/2019 academic year who take information systems audit courses. The results showed that implementing the problem-based learning model could improve students' understanding of the information system audit material. It can be seen through an increase in students' complete learning from before when the pre-test was 0% in a row; from each cycle, there was an increase until the post-test was 95.6%. Students' interest in inactiveness and collaboration is also good, namely 3.44 (scale 1-4). This study also found that the problem-based learning model improved students' ability to solve problems, think critically, and build their knowledge because information systems audit materials require direct skills and in-depth understanding.

The problem-based learning model is a model that plans a problem that is given by educators to be solved by students. This PBL learning model has learning conditions oriented to concrete problems. This research aimed to determine the effect of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students on Plant Motion Material at MTs Al-Muhajirin Waihatu. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative analyzed using inferential statistics. This research was conducted for three months starting from August 10 to October 10, 2020. The location of this research was carried out in class VIII on Plant Motion Material at MTs Al-Muhajirin Waihatu with a sample of 90 students. To analyze the data obtained through questionnaires and test results, students were processed using descriptive analysis with the SPSS 20 application. The results showed that the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model to the learning outcomes of students in plant motion reached the final qualifications of students (Test Formative) describes 90 students (100%) who succeeded in achieving the MCC value (minimum completeness criteria). The problem-based learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class VIII students of MTs Al-Muhajirin Waihatu, this can be seen from the significant level of 0.626 with the strong category

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to improve the writing ability of students of Class XI MIPA-1 Yogyakarta 7 Public High School in 2018/2019 through the application of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model. This research was conducted collaboratively and participatively which was carried out in two cycles. Data collection in this study was carried out using participant observation and written tests. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of the STAD learning model can improve motivation and writing ability. This is supported by research data that shows an increase in the percentage of completeness of the written tests conducted at the second meeting in each cycle. At the time of pre-cycle, students completeness was only 36%, after the first cycle was implemented with the STAD learning model the percentage of students' writing ability was 61% then in the cycle II action reached 91%. The application of the STAD learning model can also improve the indicators of students' ability to write grade XI MIPA-1 SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta in 2018/2019 Academic Year. Indicators of students' writing ability consist of cohesion, coherence and language style. In the first cycle, the students' writing ability indicator obtained a final score of 64%, meaning that the ability to write was within the sufficient criteria. In the second cycle the final score of the indicator of students' writing ability reached 90% so that it is in good criteria.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaaran problem based learning yang dibantu dengan media edmodo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one grup pretest posttest. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI penjurusan MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Demak tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Aspek kemandirian yang diteliti meliputi aspek persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket kemandirian belajar, wawancara terhadap siswa dengan kemandirian rendah, sedang, dan tinggi, angket respon siswa, dan lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mengetahui tingkat keefektifan penerapan model problem based learning berbantuan edmodo. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian tingkat keefektifan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning berbantuan edmodo adalah 94,11%. Peningkatan kemandirian belajar diketahui dengan menggunakan uji n-gain didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,32 dengan kriteria sedang. Peningkatan kemandirian yang paling optimal terjadi pada indikator evaluasi kegiatan belajar dan penarikan kesimpulan pengalaman belajar. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi edmodo dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Efforts to increase student self-regulated learning with problem-based learning model use Edmodo AbstractThe purpose of this study is to improve students' self-regulated learning by applying model problem based learning use edmodo. The research method is experimental method with one group pretest posttest research design. The subjects of the study were the students of science class grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Demak academic year 2017/2018. The aspects of self-regulated learning examined include aspects of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used questionnaire of self-regulated learning, interviews of students with low, middle, and high self-regulated learning, student response questionnaires, and learning activity sheet to determine the level of effectiveness of the implementation of problem-based learning model use edmodo. Based on the analysis of research results, the effectiveness level of learning implementation with problem based learning model use edmodo is 94.11%. Increased learning independence is known by using the n-gain test results obtained by 0.32 with middle criteria. The most optimal improvement of independence occurs in indicators of evaluation of learning activities and conclusions of learning experiences. So it can be concluded that the use of edmodo applications in learning can improve student’s self-regulated learning.

This study aims to determine the increase in students' understanding of trigonometry material for class XI-MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pademawu in the 2019/2020 academic year through the application of a problem based learning model. This research is a classroom action research and is carried out in two cycles with several stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Researchers used the method of observation, questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Student activity increased by 0.06, namely in the first cycle an average of 3.55 was obtained in the very good category and the second cycle obtained an average of 3.61 in the very good category. Student responses were categorized as positive with an increase of 3%, namely in the first cycle the percentage was 90% and in the second cycle the percentage was 93%. The test results also increased by 16.67%, namely in the first cycle the percentage was 70% and in the second cycle the percentage was 86.67%. The improvement of test results in cycle II is said to be classically complete because the percentage obtained is 85 %. So it can be said that the application of the problem based learning model can improve students' understanding of trigonometry material

This study aims to improve the understanding and active learning of students of opportunity material using cooperative learning models of the TAI (Teams Assisted Individualization). This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class XII IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2018/2019. The results of the study concluded that the implementation of classroom action through the use of the TAI (Teams Assisted Individualization) type of cooperative learning model on the opportunity material can improve students' understanding and activeness in mathematics learning. This is based on test results and observations. From the test results in the first cycle, the percentage of students who completed was 62.96% and in the second cycle the percentage of students who completed experienced an increase of 33.33% to 96.29%. While the observations of the two observers, in the first cycle produced an average percentage of students' activeness reached 66.35% with a visual activity percentage of 83.2% and writing activity 61.22% and in the second cycle an increase in the average percentage of student activity by 20.92% to 87.27 % with the percentage of visual activity 85.88%, writing activities and activities 88.68%. These results it can be concluded that the application of the TAI (Teams Assisted Individualization) type of cooperative learning model can improve the understanding and activeness of learning in class XII Science 2 SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta odd semester 2018/2019

This study aims to determine the completion of student learning in procedural fluency through the Brain Based Learning  model, along with their procedural fluency in flexibility, efficiency and accuracy in quadrilateral 2D shapes. It employed sequential explanatory research design. The research subjects were 7th graders (VII B) at SMP Negeri 2 Sokaraja, academic year 2019/2020. The data collection technique was procedural fluency test for students on quadrilateral 2D shapes; and the data analysis technique was the z-test. Results showed that students’ procedural fluency through BBL achieved learning mastery. In terms of flexibility, students were able to solve procedural fluency test questions in two ways. Students could perform each step of the method in terms of efficiency; and in terms of accuracy, it was shown that results were repeated consistently. These findings implied that procedural fluency through BBL along with students’ flexibility, efficiency, and accuracy belong to the fairly fluent category.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah penerapan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM) pada materi pecahan  kelas VII di SMP Swasta Istiqlal Delitua Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII di SMP Swasta Istiqlal Delitua dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang dan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan penerapan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBM) pada materi pecahan kelas VII di SMP Swasta Istiqlal Delitua tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari tes dan observasi. Penelitian terdiri 2 siklus dan tes diberikan pada setiap akhir siklus. Hasil tes pemahaman konsep matematika siklus I nilai rata-rata 63,85 dan klasikal kategori “baik” 57,57%. Siklus II nilai rata-rata adalah 81,69 dan secara klasikal kategori “sangat baik” 90,90%. Hasil observasi kemampuan guru menelola pembelajaran siklus I rata-rata 3,15 dengan kategori “baik”, siklus II berkategori “sangat baik” nilai rata-rata 3,5. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. ABSTRACTThis study was aimed to know the students ‘increased understanding of the concept after the application of problem based learning model of class VII SMP Swasta Istiqlal Delitua of the school year 2014/2015. Test results understanding of math concept I cycle the average value of 63,85 and in the classical category of “good” 57,57%. Cycle II, the average value is 81,69 and in the classical category of “very good” 90,90%. Observations of teachers ability to manage the learning I cycle an average of 3,15 with the category of “good”, cycle II categorized “very good” average value of 3,5. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of problem based learning learning models in drama writing skills. The problem is that the eighth grade students of SMPN 4 Pandak are still having trouble finding ideas or ideas in writing drama texts. The location of the study was at SMP Negeri 4 Pandak. The study was conducted in class VIII Cpada Semester II of the 2018/2019 Academic Year. The research subjects were students of class VIII C, with 28 students consisting of 13 male students and 15 female students. The data collection technique was carried out through observations on the skills of writing text and the practice of playing drama. The results of the study showed that there was an improvement in the learning outcomes and skills of students in class VIII C Drama Text Writing material. Before using the PBL model students who achieved mastery learning outcomes were 15 students or 53.6%, while 13 students or 46.4% were not yet finished. After using the PBL learning model there was an increase in student learning outcomes ie all students (28 students) completed their learning outcomes or 100%. Thus there was an increase in completeness by 46.4%.

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the application of Problem Based Instruction learning models. This research is a quasi experiment. The research subjects in this study were students of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2017/2018 with a total of 32 students with a cluster random sampling technique. The required data is obtained through observation, documentation and tests using description questions. The collected data was analyzed by quantitative analysis techniques. The instruments used to collect data are tests of critical thinking skills. Data from the test results and observation sheets were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that students 'critical thinking skills in the control class were 14.23% and included in the low category, while in the experimental class students' critical thinking abilities reached 87.5% or included in the high category. So, it can be said that the Problem Based Instruction learning model can improve students 'critical thinking skills, where students' critical thinking abilities increase from each cycle. So that the Problem Based Instruction learning model can be applied in learning both in mathematics and in other lessons.
