ABSTRACTScience is a lesson that is not just theory, but requires practical activities in the learning process. In this community service activity, the practice of making miniature electric power plants is carried out, for achieving aspects of a scientific learning system are reached, and students know the concept of energy change and the concept of one of the electric energy generators. These community service activities were carried out in two schools, there are MTs Ikhwanul Muslims and SDN Lemah Subur 1. In the implementation of student activities formed into several groups, a group consists of 5-6 students. Before starting to assemble miniature power plants, firstly, we conveyed knowledge about the concept of energy change, the concept of electricity generation in the world and which Indonesia uses in its daily electricity needs, then introduce what tools and materials are used in practice. The next step, we describe physics concept. Then to identify the effoxt of the activity on learning outcomes, the activity begins with the implementation of pretest and ends with posttest. Based ont the evaluation reslults, this activity succeeded in increasing learning outcomes by 32%.Keywords: energy change, power plants, science.   ABSTRAKPelajaran IPA adalah pelajaran yang tidak hanya sekedar teori, tetapi membutuhkan kegiatan praktek dalam proses pembelajaran.. Pada kegiatan pengabdian  masyarakat ini dilakukan praktek pembuatan miniatur pembangkit energi listrik guna mencapai aspek-aspek dalam sistem pembelajaran saintifik terpenuhi, serta siswa dapat mengetahui konsep perubahan energi serta konsep salah satu pembangkit listrik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di dua sekolah yaitu, MTs Ikhwanul Muslimin dan SDN Lemah subur 1. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan siswa dibentuk menjadi beberapa kelompok, satu kelompok terdiri dari 5-6 siswa.  Sebelum memulai merakit miniatur pembangkit listrik, terlebih dahulu disampaikan pengetahuan mengenai konsep perubahan energi, konsep pembangkit listrik yang ada di dunia dan yang Indonesia gunakan dalam kebutuhan listrik sehari-hari, kemudian mengenalkan alat dan bahan apa saja yang digunakan dalam praktek. Kegiatan selanjutnya yaitu pemaparan mengenai konsep kerja secara fisika. Kemudian untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh kegiatan terhadap hasil belajar, kegiatan diawali dengan pelaksanaan pretest dan diakhiri dengan posttest. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, kegiatan yang dilaksanakan berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 32%.Kata kunci: energi, listrik, IPA.

Gedangan village, a dairy farming center, has many biogas reactors that are used for cooking and lighting petromax lamps. Previous community service activities resulted in the construction of three Biogas Power Plants (PLT-Biogas) capable of producing 15 kW of power but which were not fully utilized. Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) is the approach method used to actively involve the community in the program. To optimize the PLT-Biogas, the service team rearranges the equipment and replaces the UPS with an inverter and battery charger before constructing a street lighting electricity network that can be used by the entire community. The next step is to provide operational and maintenance training for the long-term use of PLT-Biogas. As a result, the initial stage of electrical energy is currently used for street lighting in two hamlets, as well as freezers and water pumps, with a potential savings of 2,775.6 kWh per year. By converting biogas energy to electricity, this community service activity can help to kickstart the realization of an energy self-sufficient village.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused a change in the learning system from offline to online. Lecturers can use social media as a digital literacy-based learning media. The purpose of this community service activity is to develop student creativity through the use of YouTube as a learning medium during the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity was held online during 3 meetings with the number of participants as many as 23 students. The method of activity is: 1) on September 10, 2021 provides YouTube video links for the deepening of scientific approach material; 2) on September 17, 2021 designing learning activities with a scientific approach based on YouTube videos; 3) on September 24, 2021 made a learning video to explain the concept of high school physics with a scientific approach. Lecturers observe the creativity of students at every meeting. Indicators of creativity consist of fluent thinking skills, flexible thinking skills, original thinking skills, detail thinking skills, curiosity, and being challenged. Assessment of student creativity using scale 4. The increase in creativity score at the initial meeting and the final meeting is calculated using N-gain. The results showed the creativity score of students increased from 2.45 (poor criteria) at meeting 1 to 3.07 (good criteria) at meeting 2 and by 3.47 (good criteria) at meeting 3. The average creativity of students is 3.00 which is on good criteria. The lowest indicator is the skill of smooth thinking of 2.87 (poor criteria) while the highest indicator is to feel challenged by 3.17 (good criteria). The N-gain value of 66 is at the moderate criterion. Thus, the use of YouTube as a learning medium can develop student creativity, especially the attitude of feeling challenged

Training is one element in creating more qualified individuals. Training is very necessary in the learning process so that students are not bored with monotone learning when in class. Therefore, it is necessary to hold a training for students on how to quickly and accurately count to make it easier for students to calculate addition and multiplication operations. With this activity students are expected to be able to more easily understand the material in mathematics. In addition, students are also expected to be motivated to study harder and not think that mathematics is difficult. From the results of the activity, it was obtained input that students desperately need training in a quick and precise way of counting to make it easier for students to calculate addition, subtraction and multiplication. The impact is that student learning outcomes can be better and students prefer mathematics subjects. Participants expect that this community service activity can be carried out as often as possible and continuously so that communication between schools and universities is maintained in the development of learning.

 Pengembangan kreativitas ilmiah dalam pembelajaran fisika menjadi solusi baru yang lebih efektif dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang semakin kompleks dan beragam dewasa ini; tetapi hambatan kreativitas mengganggu kemampuan para guru fisika untuk mengenali ide-ide kreatifnya. Oleh karena itu, tujuan pengabdian ini ialah membekali para guru fisika di Kalimantan Selatan dengan pengetahuan dan kreativitas ilmiah; serta berlatih mendesain Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Berbasis Kreativitas Ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian diawali identifikasi masalah tentang rendahnya kreativitas ilmiah para guru sains-fisika, kemudian penyusunan modul pelatihan kreativitas ilmiah yang ditekankan pada aktivitas siswa meliputi: (1) menentukan kegunaan benda untuk tujuan ilmiah, (2) menemukan masalah-masalah sains, (3) meningkatkan kegunaan produk secara teknis, (4) berimajinasi ilmiah, (5) mendesain eksperimen kreatif, (6) memecahkan masalah sains secara kreatif, dan (7) mendesain produk secara kreatif. Selain itu, pengembangan desain LKS melibatkan pembelajaran berbasis otonomi, kebutuhan belajar kreatif, investigasi ilmiah, dan pemantapan kreativitas ilmiah. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dalam bentuk wokshop mendesain LKS berbasis kreativitas ilmiah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman kreativitas ilmiah guru dalam mendesain produk kreatif pada awalnya dalam kriteria kurang kreatif. Sebaliknya, setelah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, para peserta pelatihan lebih memahami tentang kreativitas ilmiah dan pentingnya kreativitas ilmiah dalam pembelajaran sains-fisika, serta dapat mendesain LKS berbasis kreativitas ilmiah dalam kriteria kreatif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengembangan desain LKS berbasis kreativitas ilmiah pada guru sains-fisika di Kalimantan Selatan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman kreativitas ilmiah para pendidik dengan baik.Development of scientific creativity in learning physics into new solutions that are more effective in overcoming various increasingly complex and diverse problems today, but the obstacle of creativity interferes with the ability of physics teachers to recognize their creative ideas. Therefore, this service aims to equip physics teachers in South Kalimantan with scientific knowledge and creativity, as well as to practice designing the student worksheets based on creativity. The service activity begins with the identification of problems regarding the lack of scientific creativity of science-physics teachers. The preparation of scientific creativity training modules that emphasizes student activities include: (1) determining the use of objects for scientific purposes, (2) finding scientific problems, (3) improve the use of technical products, (4) scientific imagination, (5) design creative experiments, (6) solve scientific problems creatively, and (7) design creative products. Also, the development of the student worksheet design involves autonomous based learning, creative learning needs, scientific investigations, and strengthening scientific creativity. Implementation of community service in the form of a workshop to design the student worksheet based on scientific creativity. The results of the dedication show that the understanding of the teacher's scientific creativity in designing creative products was initially less creative. On the contrary, after participating in this community service activity, the trainees will understand more about scientific creativity and the importance of scientific creativity in learning science-physics and can design the student worksheet based on scientific creativity in creative criteria. Thus, the development of the student worksheet based scientific creativity design activities in science-physics teachers in South Kalimantan can improve the understanding of the scientific creativity of educators well.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this community service is to improve the ability of teachers to utilize information technology for online learning. The current COVID-19 pandemic has a major impact on education in Indonesia. Under these conditions, there will be a shift in the learning process from what is done in school to learning from home. One of the innovations made by the world of education during this pandemic is online learning. With this program and in the current pandemic conditions, of course SMA Negeri 5 Cimahi inevitably has to do online learning. However, online learning in secondary schools, not all students and teachers use the e-learning system synchronously in the teaching and learning process. The methods used in this service activity are in the form of training, discussions, and simulations conducted through webinars using the Zoom Meeting application. During the training, in addition to provide materials, pre-test and post-test were also given to participants. The training material was a google meet application for online learning. The result of this service activity was an increase in the ability of teachers to utilize information technology in online learning, namely synchronous e-learning using the Google Meet application. Dengan kondisi tersebut maka akan terjadi pergeseran proses pembelajaran dari apa yang dilakukan di sekolah menjadi belajar dari rumah. Salah satu inovasi yang dilakukan oleh dunia pendidikan selama pandemi ini adalah pembelajaran online. Dengan adanya program ini dan dalam kondisi pandemi saat ini tentunya SMA Negeri 5 Cimahi mau tidak mau harus melakukan pembelajaran secara online. Namun, pembelajaran online di sekolah menengah, tidak semua siswa dan guru menggunakan sistem e-learning secara sinkron dalam proses belajar mengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan, diskusi, dan simulasi yang dilakukan melalui webinar dengan menggunakan aplikasi Zoom Meeting. Selama pelatihan, selain pemberian materi, juga diberikan pre-test dan post-test kepada peserta. Materi pelatihannya berupa aplikasi google meet untuk pembelajaran online. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran online yaitu e-learning sinkron dengan menggunakan aplikasi Google Meet. ABSTRAK                Evaluasi pendidikan adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam rangka mengukur dan menilai segala hal yang termasuk dalam kegiatan pendidikan termasuk di dalamnya hasil belajar.Salah satu instrumen yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar adalah tes. Namun pada kenyataannya, guru seringkali tidak mengevaluasi soal tes yang disusunnya sehingga tujuan untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa kurang terpenuhi. Tidak dilakukannya asesmen terhadap kualitas soal tes ini disebabkan oleh waktu dan tenaga yang terbatas, juga kurangnya kemampuan dalam menggunakan alat bantu komputer. Oleh karena itu, dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pendidikan dan pelatihan menggunakan program QUEST untuk membantu melakukan asesmen terhadap kualitas soal tes yang disusunnya. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPS SMP Kabupaten Banyumas. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 40 orang guru perwakilan dari 25 sekolah. Metode diklat yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyampaian materi dan praktik langsung mengoperasikan program QUEST dan cara membaca hasil keluaran program. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa 100% dari peserta diklat dapat mengoperasikan program QUEST, meskipun hanya 75% yang mampu membaca hasil keluaran program (menganalisis hasil). Kata  Kunci : Asesmen Soal, Instrumen Tes, QUEST, Guru MGMP IPS SMP. ABSTRACT                Educational evaluation is an activity undertaken in order to measure and assess everything that is included in the educational activities, thelearning outcomes. One of the instruments that can be used to measure learning outcomes is test. However, in reality, teachers often do not evaluate the test items they have prepared so the objectives of measuring student learning outcomes are not met. The lack of an assessment of the quality of test items is due to limited time and energy, as well as a lack of ability to use computer aids. Therefore, in this community service activity, education and training are conducted using the QUEST program to assist in assessing the quality of test items. Partners in this activity are teachers who are in the group of the MGMP IPS SMP Banyumas District. This activity was attended by 40 representative teachers from 25 schools. The training method used in this activity is the delivery of materials and the directly practice for operating the QUEST program and how to read the output of the program. The results of the evaluation show that 100% of the training participants can operate the QUEST program, although only 75% are able to read the program output outcomes (analyze the results). Keywords : Assessment Of Test Items, Test Instruments, QUEST, Teachers of MGMP IPS SMP

This Community Service activity was backgrounded by three things namely 1) obtained SPADA Grant for the development and impelementation of online learning in 2018; 2) the results of evaluation of devotion activities in 2018 and 2019 namely 80% of teachers understand mobile learning based on Augmented Reality; 3) the fact that there is a gap in the quality of education that occurs in remote areas with urban areas, so it is necessary to increase the competence of teachers in terms of learning innovation through the development of e-learning content for teachers in remote areas of Bawean Island located 80 miles or 135 km north of Java island. The geographical location and transport conditions connecting Bawean island with Gresik are the main obstacles for teachers on Bawean island to keep up with the development of science and technology.This Community Service Program  was implemented through the stage of Strengthening the concept of e-learning followed by needs analysis workshop, e-learning system design workshop, e-learning content development workshop, Upload development results to LMS system, then implementation with assistance from the service team and continued implementation independently by the school. The result of this activity were 1) increased teacher understanding of e-learning and examples of its implementation; 2) produced an e-learning design consisting of the design of the materials of each meeting, video tutorials, discussion activities for students, and evaluation tools; 3) teachers are able to implement e-learning independently.

ABSTRACTHigh Order Thinking Skill or abbreviated with HOTS is an ability that is applied in the revised 2013 curriculum. The community service activities aim to (1) help teachers improve their understanding of learning outcomes evaluation, (2) improve teacher understanding of HOTS questions, and (3) improve teachers' ability to make HOTS questions, so that later HOTS questions are in accordance with the standards 2013 revision curriculum. This community service activity was carried out in the form of short training for three meetings. This activity was held in SMA Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi, Empat Lawang Regency, South Sumatera Province, which was attended by high school teachers in Empat Lawang District. The method used in the implementation of this activity is the method of lecture, discussion, simulation and demonstration. The results of this activity were the increase in teachers' understanding of the HOTS problem and the teacher's ability to make HOTS questions. ABSTRAKKemampuan berpikir tinggi atau yang disingkat dengan HOTS merupakan kemampuan yang diterapkan dalam Kurikulum 2013 revisi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk  (1) membantu guru dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tentang evaluasi hasil belajar, (2) meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang soal HOTS, dan (3) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam membuat soal HOTS, sehingga nantinya diperoleh soal HOTS yang sesuai dengan standar Kurikulum 2013 revisi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan singkat selama tiga kali pertemuan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Empat Lawang Propinsi Sumatera Selatan yang diikuti oleh guru-guru SMA dalam Kabupaten Empat Lawang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, simulasi dan demonstrasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman guru tentang soal HOTS dan kemampuan guru dalam membuat soal HOTS.

Abstract   PAUD has the main function of developing all aspects of a child's development, including cognitive development, language, physical (gross and subtle motoric), social, emotional. Planning a curriculum for children, teachers must have a goal, how to organize curriculum content, choose the form of learning experience for children, how the sequence of lessons is given and then determine how to do an assessment of children's learning outcomes and the program itself. At present there are still PAUD that do not yet have a structured learning curriculum such as what happened in PAUD assisted by the Bekasi City Government. This then impacts on learning activities that are less directed. Children who attend PAUD at the school are more often left to play without direction from their teacher. Therefore, this community service activity is considered necessary to help teachers in PAUD assisted by the Bekasi City Government to have a curriculum that can be a guide so that the teaching and learning process becomes more structured and directed. The output of this community service activity is in the form of a PAUD curriculum design that can be used as a learning reference for students participating in the PAUD Guidance at the Bekasi City Government. The result is that teachers get new insights about teaching programs and can develop learning strategies for students.   Keywords: PAUD, Curriculum, Syllabus Abstrak   PAUD memiliki fungsi utama mengembangkan semua aspek perkembangan anak, meliputi perkembangan kognitif, bahasa, fisik (motorik kasar dan halus), sosial, emosional. Merencanakan suatu kurikulum untuk anak, guru harus memiliki tujuan, bagaimana mengorganisasi isi kurikulum, memilih bentuk pengalaman belajar bagi anak, bagaimana urutan pelajaran diberikan dan kemudian menentukan bagaimana melakukan penilaian terhadap hasil belajar anak dan program itu sendiri. Merencanakan suatu kurikulum untuk anak, guru harus memiliki tujuan, bagaimana mengorganisasi isi kurikulum, memilih bentuk pengalaman belajar bagi anak, bagaimana urutan pelajaran diberikan dan kemudian menentukan bagaimana melakukan penilaian terhadap hasil belajar anak dan program itu sendiri. Saat ini masih ada PAUD yang belum memiliki kurikulum pembelajaran yang terstruktur seperti yang terjadi di PAUD binaan Pemerintah Kota Bekasi. Hal ini kemudian berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran yang kurang terarah. Anak yang mengikuti PAUD di sekolah tersebut lebih sering dibiarkan bermain tanpa arahan dari gurunya. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dianggap perlu untuk membantu guru di PAUD binaan Pemkot Bekasi agar memiliki kurikulum yang dapat menjadi pedoman sehinga proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran menjadi lebih terstruktur dan terarah. Luaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa rancangan kurikulum PAUD yang dapat dijadikan acuan pembelajaran bagi siswa-siswa yang mengikuti PAUD Binaan Pemkot Bekasi. Hasilnya guru mendapatkan wawasan baru mengenai proram pengajaran dan dapat mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran pada siswa.   Kata kunci: PAUD, Kurikulum, Silabus

In this paper, we investigate and compare the amounts and impacts of water consumption due to manufacturing processes versus the water consumption due to the electricity used in those manufacturing processes. As is shown using automotive manufacturing as a case study, the “indirect” water consumption in manufacturing due to electricity generation is significant. Reduction of electricity consumption, in particular from thermo-electric power plants, can lead to substantial water consumption reductions, and thus win-win situations. We also show the amounts of variability that occur dependent on how water consumption of hydro-electric power generation is calculated. In terms of an automotive life-cycle, the amount of water consumed in the production of gasoline dominates the life-cycle, but is itself subject to significant variations dependent on the source of the petroleum used.
