This research aims to explore and describe some of the problems experienced in the learning History of Literature courses in Indonesian Language and Literature Education courses on the campus of the border region of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia-Democratic Republic of Timor Leste (NKRI-RDTL). One of the campuses located in the border area is the University of Timor (Unimor). The problems explored will be balanced with several solutions and recommendations, to reduce some of the problems represented. In this case, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method using an e-ethical paradigm. This paradigm was used by Clifford Geertz in The Religion of Java which was presented to Abangan Santri dan Priyayi dalam Masyarakat Jawa (1981) by Aswab Mahasin. About Timorese culture, Gregor Neonbasu applied this paradigm in his monograph entitled Citra Manusia Berbudaya: Sebuah Monografi tentang Timor dalam Perspektif Melanesia (2017). The subject of this research is the study activity learning History of Literature inactive students of the first semester (odd) study program of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Faculty of Educational Sciences, University of Timor academic year 2019—2020. Based on the results of the study concluded that the problem faced in the learning History of Literature courses on the campus of the border area of NKRI-RDTL is due to five aspects, namely material aspects or teaching materials, methods, media, students, and literacy.

The purpose of this research is to find out the online learning process of students of the Institute of Teacher Sciences of the Republic of Indonesia Pontianak, especially the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program 2021 in the Learning Media course. This research was conducted in one semester. The methods in this study used descriptive methods. The subject of this study was a grade A morning 4th semester student. Data sources are collected from Students. Data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The data is analyzed using critical analysis. The results showed that the use of Whatsapp application in the online learning process has a varied influence and difficulty level of students. Based on the results of interviews with students it is known that the online learning process using the Whatsapp application is very petrifying and effectively used in the Online learning process. Similarly, the results of the poll students showed 82.3% results for the learning process, the data analysis can be concluded that the online learning process using whatsapp application is highly recommended and worthy to be used in the online learning process during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran daring  mahasiswa Institut Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia Pontianak khususnya Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia 2021 dalam mata kuliah Media Pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam satu semester. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas A Pagi semester 4. Sumber data dikumpulkan dari Mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, angket, dan studi dokumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Whatsapp dalam proses pembelajaran daring memiliki pengaruh dan tingkat kesukaran yang bervariasi dari mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan mahasiswa diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp sangat membatu dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Daring. Begitu juga dengan hasil angket mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil 82,3% untuk proses pembelajaran, analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp sangat disarankan dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran daring selama Pandemi Covid 19. <p>Indonesia and Timor Leste have had an irrelevant relationship related to the history of Seroja Operation on 7 December 1975 when the TNI, formerly known as ABRI (Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia) carried out a total military operation in order to keep Timor Leste for not separate from Indonesia, while later it caused losses where many TNI and <em>Falintil- Forças De Defesa De Timor Leste</em> (F-FDTL)’s personnel were killed in the war. Time passed, now the relationship between both countries is getting better due to the efforts from the Indonesian and Timor Leste’s parties, especially the national armies, had been done. To solve the conflict between those countries, defense diplomacy is needed. In this article, the writers tend to describe how both armed forces conduct defense diplomacy so Indonesia and Timor Leste’s relationship is getting better, indeed now both countries have done some collaborations in some aspects in the economy and military. Later, the writers will analyze more to find out the best conflict resolution that had been done by both armed forces, and the existence of each State Leaders’ participation. It is clearly stated that by utilizing defense diplomacy through visiting state leaders, having an official meeting, holding military cooperation such as doing exchange troops are some best ways of conflict resolution that can be done by Indonesia and Timor Leste to create a better relationship.</p><p>Keywords: Defense Diplomacy, Conflict Resolution, Indonesia National Army (TNI), F-FDTL, Timor Leste</p>

The purpose of this research is to find out the process of developing contextual lecturer modules based on contextual students of the Indonesian language and literature education study program STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. The method used by the Research & Development (R&D) model of Dick & Carey with stages, 1) analysis of needs and goals; 2) learning analysis; 3) analysis of learning (students) and context; 4) formulating performance goals; 5) developing instruments; 6) develop learning strategies; 7) developing and choosing learning materials; 8) design and conduct formative evaluations; 9) make revisions; 10) summative evaluation. The results of the study, the percentage of small group trial questionnaire of 92.78% included in the very positive category. Large group trials based on a questionnaire given to students get a very positive response with a percentage of 91.15%, the results of the test of the ability of students after using the module module 10 subjects got very good grades with a score of 8-10 the percentage of 38.46% , as many as 8 people who scored 6.6 - 7.9 with a good category and a percentage of 30.77%, the number of students who get enough grades only 4 people with a score of 6 or only 15.38%, and students who score less as many as 4 people with a range of values ​​from 4.6 to 5.5 or by 15.38%. Conclusions, the development of contextual lecturer modules based on students' contextual study programs in Indonesian language and literature education in the category of very good and practical for students to use. The backgroundof this research is because are still many errors of using conjunctions in the papers of student of the Indonesia Language and Literature education study program STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. This study aims to describe the misuse of conjunctions found in the papers of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature education study program STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. This type of research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The data source of this research is a paper writing scientific papers and discourse analysis of studens of Indonesian Language and Literature education study programs STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. The data in this study are errors using conjunctions in student papers. The results of data analisysis showed that in the papers written by students there were still many errors in their use. Errors of use of conjunctions obtained as many as four errors of use of conjunctions namely Pertema. Misuse of conjunctions and those placed at the beginning of sentences and excessive use of conjunctions and expressions are found in sentences. Secondly, errors in the use of conjunctions and those used at the beginning of a sentence and are not used to connect two languages in a sentence. Third, the use of conjunction errors students put the conjunction at the beginning of a sentence and is not used to connect the power between sentences. Fourth, mistakes in the use of conjunctions while those used at the beginning of a sentence, whereas this conjunction is used precisily in the middle of asentence and used to combine contradictory sentences. The most common use of conjunction errors in student papers is the use of conjunctions whereas, because many students use conjunctions while not in place ther efore the use of conjunctions used by students is declared wrong.

Abstract The aims of this research were to 1) Develop critical reading  textbook based on  Students’ perspective of  Language and Literature Education Study Program. 2) Develop critical reading textbook based on critical reading substantion aspect, instruction, and implementation. 3) Develop an aplicable critical reading textbook. and 4) Develop an effective critical reading textbook. This researchers used research and development procedure or an educational research and development consisting of need assessment, self-evaluation, experts panel, two-on-one, and rapid prototyping stage. Semester III students of Language and Literature Education Study Program was the subject of the research . The instruments were quesioner and critical reading test. The result of substantial evaluation showed that one of the chapter need revising, the arrangement of chapter order, and grammar correcting, and spelling editting. The result of implentation showed that this critical reading textbook was appropriate for students  as their learning material. Moreover, based on the result of critical reading test, there was no influence to the students’ reading comprehension. Key words: critical reading, textbook development Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) Mengembangkan buku teks membaca kritis yang sesuai dengan perspektif mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, 2) Mengembangkan buku teks membaca kritis berdasarkan aspek substansi membaca kritis, aspek pembelajaran membaca, dan implementasi, 3) Mewujudkan buku teks membaca teks kritis yang aplikatif, dan 4) Mewujudkan buku teks membaca kritis yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian pengembangan atau educational research and development yang terdiri dari beberapa langkah penelitian, yaitu: need assessment, self-evaluation, expert panels, two-on-one, dan rapid prototyping stage. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia semester III. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner  persepsi dan tes membaca kritis. Hasil evaluasi substansi  menunjukkan bahwa perlu dilakukan penggantian judul terhadap salah satu bab dalam  buku teks, perubahan susunan bab, dan perbaikan tulisan dan tata bahasa. Hasil evaluasi imlementasi menunjukkan bahwa buku teks membaca kritis yang dihasilkan dianggap sudah memadai untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar, namun dalam pembuktian keefektifan hasilnya kurang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca kritis mahasiswa. The use of cohesion in text can create relationships between elements of language in communication so that effective communication is created for language users. This study aims to describe the use of grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion in the text of the report on the results of the observation of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Pakuan University, Bogor. This study uses a descriptive and qualitative approach while the method used is the method proposed by Halliday and Hasan regarding cohesion. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that the use of grammatical cohesion in the form of references, substitutions, ellipsis and conjunctions, and lexical cohesion consisted of synonymy, hypernymy and collocation in the observation report text of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Bogor Pakuan University.

This article was written with the aim of discussing the situation of the people who live on the borders of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, which are classified as far from the reach of the government regarding justice and justice. The lack of concern for the conditions of life in the border region is a rebellion which has an effect on the sense or spirit of people's nationalism towards their own homeland. The method used in this article is a case study type qualitative approach. This article explains the definition of justice obtained from accountable sources and in this article discusses the conditions and situations of the people who live in the border area as a measure for the realization of equitable justice and justice. This article can later be used as a reference in realizing the welfare and justice of communities in border areas.

Abstract The land border for Indonesia and Timor Leste has a strategic and important meaning, for Indonesia the border region is the front page and the face of the Indonesian Nation. In this paper will explain the history and function of land border between Indonesia and Timor Leste. Indonesia and Timor-Leste have a long history of borders, before independence of Timor-Leste's border with Indonesia is not the case because Timor-Leste is still part of Indonesia but after Timor-Leste's independence, the two countries must set boundaries. This is important because the border has a function that can maintain security and create prosperity on each border of both countries.  Abstrak Perbatasan darat bagi Indonesia dan Timor Leste memiliki makna yang strategis dan penting, bagi Indonesia wilayah perbatasan merupakan halaman depan dan wajah dari Bangsa Indonesia. Dalam tulisan ini akan menjelaskan tentang sejarah dan fungsi perbatasan darat antara Indonesia dan Timor Leste. Indonesia dan Timor Leste memiliki sejarah panjang dalam hal perbatasan, sebelum merdeka perbatasan Timor Leste dengan Indonesia tidak menjadi permasalahan hal ini dikarenakan Timor Leste masih menjadi bagian dari Indonesia akan tetapi setelah Timor Leste merdeka, kedua negara harus menentukan batas-batas wilayahnya. Ini penting karena perbatasan memiliki fungsi yang dapat menjaga keamanan serta menciptakan kesejahteraan di perbatasan masing-masing kedua negara.

This research applied a mixed methods design aiming to explore, describe and explain attitudes and behavior of Indonesian language and literature education study program students of universities in Makassar towards Indonesian language. The data on language attitudes and behavior was collected using a test technique in the form of questionnaires for attitudes and covert behavior, and a non-test technique taken from recording, notes and interviews for overt language behavior of the students. The results of the research reveal that although the attitudes of Indonesian language and literature education study program students at Universities in Makassar towards the standard Indonesian language is in very positive category, their awareness of the Indonesian language norms is the data with the lowest quantification result of 81.67%. Covert behavior as a representation of mental activity (cognitive activity) is in high category; 24 (twenty four) respondents are in high group category with score interval between 39 and 42. However, the overt behavior of the respondents in communicating in official situations reflects the identity of the respondents as bilingual and/or multilingual speakers, that the respondents experience disturbance in the form of dialect usage, phonological interference, morphological interference, syntax interference, interjection of vexation, interjection of invitation, interjection of call, and particle usage.
