The purpose of this research is to find out the online learning process of students of the Institute of Teacher Sciences of the Republic of Indonesia Pontianak, especially the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program 2021 in the Learning Media course. This research was conducted in one semester. The methods in this study used descriptive methods. The subject of this study was a grade A morning 4th semester student. Data sources are collected from Students. Data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The data is analyzed using critical analysis. The results showed that the use of Whatsapp application in the online learning process has a varied influence and difficulty level of students. Based on the results of interviews with students it is known that the online learning process using the Whatsapp application is very petrifying and effectively used in the Online learning process. Similarly, the results of the poll students showed 82.3% results for the learning process, the data analysis can be concluded that the online learning process using whatsapp application is highly recommended and worthy to be used in the online learning process during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran daring  mahasiswa Institut Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia Pontianak khususnya Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia 2021 dalam mata kuliah Media Pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam satu semester. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas A Pagi semester 4. Sumber data dikumpulkan dari Mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, angket, dan studi dokumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Whatsapp dalam proses pembelajaran daring memiliki pengaruh dan tingkat kesukaran yang bervariasi dari mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan mahasiswa diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp sangat membatu dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Daring. Begitu juga dengan hasil angket mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil 82,3% untuk proses pembelajaran, analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp sangat disarankan dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran daring selama Pandemi Covid 19. Pembelajaran daring menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang diterapkan akibat adanya pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan memaparkan kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FKIP Universitas Tidar beserta solusi yang dapat diterapkan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan metode angket dari Google dengan responden berjumlah 85 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 84 mahasiswa yang memiliki kendala dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Hal ini merepresentasikan bahwa hampir seluruh mahasiswa mengalami kendala. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembenahan di beberapa aspek agar kendala dapat diminimalisasi. Pada aspek pemberian materi, dosen diharapkan memberikan penjelasan secara terperinci menggunakan video ataupun pesan suara. Pada aspek waktu, dosen diharapkan memberikan toleransi waktu kepada mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan serta mengumpulkan tugas. Pada aspek metode, mahasiswa menghendaki lebih banyak menggunakan metode diskusi, presentasi, serta penugasan.Online learning is an alternative learning that is implemented due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe constraints in implementing online learning of FKIP Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students at Tidar University along with applicable solutions. The research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research data were collected using a questionnaire method from Google Form with 85 students as respondents. The results showed 84 students have obstacles in implementing online learning. This represented that almost all students experienced problems. So, improvement is needed in several aspects so that obstacles can be minimized. In the aspect of providing material, lecturers are expected to provide detailed explanations using video or voice messages. In the aspect of time, lecturers are expected to give time tolerance to students in working on and collecting assignments. In the aspect of methods, students want to use more methods of discussion, presentation, and assignments.

Abstract This study aims to find out how "The Relationship of Effective Sentence Mastery Ability to the Ability to Analyze Official Letter of Subject by Students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program Semester V T.A. 2018/2019 ". The method used in this study is a descriptive correlational method, which is a method or research technique that reveals clear facts about the symptoms and relationships that exist in an object of research. Data collection tools used are objective and subjective tests. Hypothesis testing is done by using the Product Moment correlation formula. From the results of correlation analysis between the ability to master effective sentences (X) by analyzing letters with a letter (Y), the coefficient price is 0.531 and after consultation with the r table at a significant level of 95% (0.361) and at a significant level 99% (0.463). Thus rh> rt (0.588> 0.361) and (0.588> 0.463), so the hypothesis states that there is a significant relationship between the ability to master effective sentences with the ability to analyze letters with a proven subject matter and work hypotheses accepted. This can be proven from the average ability of effective sentence mastery, namely 13 people (44%) are in the medium category and 17 people (56%) are in the high category while the ability to analyze the subject matter is high with 14 people (46%) are in the medium category and 16 people (54%) are in the high category. Based on the results of the correlation test it was found that the relationship between the ability to use conjunctions has sufficient correlation (by 0.588). So, there is a significant relationship between the ability to master effective sentences with the ability to analyze the subject matter by students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program 2018/2019. Keywords: Relationship, Ability, Effective Sentences, Official Letter of Subject Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana �Hubungan Kemampuan Penguasaan Kalimat Efektif terhadap Kemampuan Menganalisis Surat Resmi Berperihal oleh Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Semester V T.A. 2018/2019�. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif korelasional, yaitu cara atau teknik penelitian yang mengungkapkan fakta yang jelas tentang gejala-gejala serta hubungan yang ada pada suatu objek penelitian. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes objektif dan subjektif. Pengujian Hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi Product Moment Dari hasil analisis korelasi anatara kemampuan menguasai kalimat efektif (X) dengan menganalisis surat berperihal (Y) diperoleh harga koefisien 0,531 dan setelah dikonsultasikan dengan r tabel pada taraf signifikan 95% (0,361) dan pada taraf signifikan 99% (0,463). Dengan demikian rh > rt (0,588 > 0,361) dan (0,588 > 0,463), sehingga hipotesis menyatakan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menguasai kalimat efektif dengan kemampuan menganalisis surat berperihal teruji kebenaranya dan hipotesis kerja diterima. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari rata-rata kemampuan penguasaan kalimat efektif yaitu 13 orang (44%) berada pada kategori sedang dan 17 orang (56%) berada pada kategori tinggi sedangkan skor kemampuan menganalisis surat berperihal adalah tinggi dengan 14 orang (46%) berada pada kategori sedang dan 16 orang (54%) berada pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi ditemukan bahwa hubungan kemampuan menggunkan kata penghubung memiliki korelasi yang cukup (sebesar 0,588). Jadi, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menguasai kalimat efektif dengan kemampuan menganalisis surat berperihal oleh Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Tahun Pembelajaran 2018/2019.  The main objectives can be detailed as follows: 1) describe the needs needed by the students of the MPBSI, FKIP, University of Sanata Dharma in terms of learning the Pragmatic Education course. 2) describe the development of Educational Pragmatics textbooks integrated intralingual and cultural context in students of the MPBSI Program, FKIP, University of Sanata Dharma in terms of learning educational pragmatic subjects. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods. The results of the development show that textbooks are suitable for use in the learning process. This can be concluded from the results of expert validation, the assessment of lecturers and the results of field trials to students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, University of Sanata Dharma , Yogyakarta.

The backgroundof this research is because are still many errors of using conjunctions in the papers of student of the Indonesia Language and Literature education study program STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. This study aims to describe the misuse of conjunctions found in the papers of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature education study program STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. This type of research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The data source of this research is a paper writing scientific papers and discourse analysis of studens of Indonesian Language and Literature education study programs STKIP PGRI West Sumatera. The data in this study are errors using conjunctions in student papers. The results of data analisysis showed that in the papers written by students there were still many errors in their use. Errors of use of conjunctions obtained as many as four errors of use of conjunctions namely Pertema. Misuse of conjunctions and those placed at the beginning of sentences and excessive use of conjunctions and expressions are found in sentences. Secondly, errors in the use of conjunctions and those used at the beginning of a sentence and are not used to connect two languages in a sentence. Third, the use of conjunction errors students put the conjunction at the beginning of a sentence and is not used to connect the power between sentences. Fourth, mistakes in the use of conjunctions while those used at the beginning of a sentence, whereas this conjunction is used precisily in the middle of asentence and used to combine contradictory sentences. The most common use of conjunction errors in student papers is the use of conjunctions whereas, because many students use conjunctions while not in place ther efore the use of conjunctions used by students is declared wrong.

Abstract The aims of this research were to 1) Develop critical reading  textbook based on  Students’ perspective of  Language and Literature Education Study Program. 2) Develop critical reading textbook based on critical reading substantion aspect, instruction, and implementation. 3) Develop an aplicable critical reading textbook. and 4) Develop an effective critical reading textbook. This researchers used research and development procedure or an educational research and development consisting of need assessment, self-evaluation, experts panel, two-on-one, and rapid prototyping stage. Semester III students of Language and Literature Education Study Program was the subject of the research . The instruments were quesioner and critical reading test. The result of substantial evaluation showed that one of the chapter need revising, the arrangement of chapter order, and grammar correcting, and spelling editting. The result of implentation showed that this critical reading textbook was appropriate for students  as their learning material. Moreover, based on the result of critical reading test, there was no influence to the students’ reading comprehension. Key words: critical reading, textbook development Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk 1) Mengembangkan buku teks membaca kritis yang sesuai dengan perspektif mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, 2) Mengembangkan buku teks membaca kritis berdasarkan aspek substansi membaca kritis, aspek pembelajaran membaca, dan implementasi, 3) Mewujudkan buku teks membaca teks kritis yang aplikatif, dan 4) Mewujudkan buku teks membaca kritis yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur penelitian pengembangan atau educational research and development yang terdiri dari beberapa langkah penelitian, yaitu: need assessment, self-evaluation, expert panels, two-on-one, dan rapid prototyping stage. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia semester III. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner  persepsi dan tes membaca kritis. Hasil evaluasi substansi  menunjukkan bahwa perlu dilakukan penggantian judul terhadap salah satu bab dalam  buku teks, perubahan susunan bab, dan perbaikan tulisan dan tata bahasa. Hasil evaluasi imlementasi menunjukkan bahwa buku teks membaca kritis yang dihasilkan dianggap sudah memadai untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar, namun dalam pembuktian keefektifan hasilnya kurang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca kritis mahasiswa. Emergency online learning has transformed today’s learning while opening up opportunities and challenges, one of which is learning approach. This study aims to investigate students’ learning approach in the English Education study program in emergency online learning. A mixed-method was employed using two instruments; R-SPQ-2F questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. The results of the instrument check showed that the R-SPQ-2F survey and interview guide were valid (.90) and reliable (α=.88). Calculated using Slovin formula, there were 302 respondents for this study. The survey data were analysed using R-SPQ-2F mean score analysis and interview data were with interactive model analysis. The results of the study indicate that the learning approach of students in the English education study program in the context of emergency learning tends to be deep. The interview results provide important information that the student approach is influenced by several supporting and inhibiting factors. This shows that the student learning approach is dynamic in adjusting to learning process. Policy makers, lecturers, and students need to consider aspects of this learning approach in the current emergency online situation for a more effective and meaningful learning process.

The use of cohesion in text can create relationships between elements of language in communication so that effective communication is created for language users. This study aims to describe the use of grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion in the text of the report on the results of the observation of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Pakuan University, Bogor. This study uses a descriptive and qualitative approach while the method used is the method proposed by Halliday and Hasan regarding cohesion. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that the use of grammatical cohesion in the form of references, substitutions, ellipsis and conjunctions, and lexical cohesion consisted of synonymy, hypernymy and collocation in the observation report text of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Bogor Pakuan University.

This research applied a mixed methods design aiming to explore, describe and explain attitudes and behavior of Indonesian language and literature education study program students of universities in Makassar towards Indonesian language. The data on language attitudes and behavior was collected using a test technique in the form of questionnaires for attitudes and covert behavior, and a non-test technique taken from recording, notes and interviews for overt language behavior of the students. The results of the research reveal that although the attitudes of Indonesian language and literature education study program students at Universities in Makassar towards the standard Indonesian language is in very positive category, their awareness of the Indonesian language norms is the data with the lowest quantification result of 81.67%. Covert behavior as a representation of mental activity (cognitive activity) is in high category; 24 (twenty four) respondents are in high group category with score interval between 39 and 42. However, the overt behavior of the respondents in communicating in official situations reflects the identity of the respondents as bilingual and/or multilingual speakers, that the respondents experience disturbance in the form of dialect usage, phonological interference, morphological interference, syntax interference, interjection of vexation, interjection of invitation, interjection of call, and particle usage.

Abstract: This study is the development of teaching materials based on language character education to improve the politeness of speech acts in students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Development of integrated language teaching material in pragmatic subjects. In general, this study aims to develop teaching materials related to character education speaking in the Malay speech politeness in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program IKIP PGRI Pontianak students. The results obtained in this study that teaching materials used by researchers are feasible to use with a percentage of 78.94% and the results of the hypothesis there are differences between the results of students' speech politeness before and after applying teaching materials based on character education. This can be seen the average value of students at the pretest of 63.43 and the pottest of 71.72. Then it can be concluded that teaching materials based on character education are very suitable and feasible to be used as students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education study programs.Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis pendidikan karakter bahasa untuk meningkatkan kesopanan tindak tutur pada siswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Pengembangan materi pengajaran bahasa terintegrasi dalam mata kuliah pragmatik. Secara umum, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan karakter berbicara dalam kesantunan tindak tutur bahasa Melayu di lingkungan mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan sastra Indonesia IKIP  PGRI Pontianak. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh peneliti layak digunakan dengan presentase sebesar 78,94% dan hasil hipotesis terdapat perbedaan antara hasil kesantunan berbicara mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan bahan ajar berbasis pendidikan karakter. Hal ini dapat dilihat nilai rata-rata mahasiswa pada pretest sbesar 63,43 dan pottest sebesar 71,72. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahan ajar berbasis pendidikan karakter berbahasa ini sangat cocok dan layak untuk digunakan bagai mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia.
