The article presents results of an empirical study of the age dynamics of the social situation of develop¬ment in primary school students in inclusive education. The study sample consisted of 328 children aged from 7 to 11, including 18 children with SEN, studying in two inclusive schools in Moscow. The hypothesis of the study was that the characteristics of the objective and subjective aspects of the social situation of chil¬dren’s development change in accordance with the two phases of primary school age. The characteristics of the social situation of the development of children were measured using the “Sociometry” method and two projective methods: “Color Test of Relationship” and “Sentence Completion Test”. The age dynamics is ob¬served in changes in the social position and the system of orienting images of primary school students. The significant differences between the distribution of sociometric statuses of students in inclusive classes and the age standard obtained in the conditions of traditional education were found. The results of the study reveal the specificity of elementary school students’ development in conditions of inclusive education.

The problems that underlined this research included: the development of children's social skills was still not optimal, learning models in the classroom were less varied, including in the selection of media and, the interaction of students with other students was still lacking so that learning was still monotonous and less interesting. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the project-based learning model which is assisted with traditional clogs toward the social skills of the fifth-grade elementary school students. The study applied a non-equivalent control group design. Determination of the sample applied random sampling techniques. The population of this study was all students of class V. In this study, the obtained samples were 62 people. Data collection applied observation techniques. The instrument was the observation sheet. The calculation results of average gain in students’ social skills scores were given the treatment of project-based learning models in which learning was assisted with traditional game clogs included 0.295 in the category of very sufficient, while students who were taught conventional learning models had an average score of social skills score of -0.022 , belongs to the less category. Thus, based on these findings, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model assisted by traditional game clogs influences the social skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This model can be used as a choice by teachers to be used as an alternative to improve social skills.

A non-equivalent control group design was used to investigate the effectiveness of four simulation experiences in modifying the attitudes of 63 students in Grade 5 towards their handicapped peers. Experience in maneuvering a wheelchair was the only simulation which significantly increased attitudes, as measured by a social distance checklist, towards persons having a handicap.

This study aims (1) to identify the implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using the vlog media in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students in the social studies subject at Panakkukang District, Makassar City, and (2) to identify the implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using the vlog media in increasing the creativity of elementary school students in the social studies subject at Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The research method is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were fifth-grade elementary school students in Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The sample of this study was 40 students who were divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, with each group consisting of 20 students from SD Inpres Pampang II and 20 students from SD Inpres Panaikang II/1, Makassar City. After conducting the research, the researcher concluded that (1) Based on the p-value of the posttest of the two groups, the result (0.00) was lower than 0.05 and the degree of freedom was 38. The t-test value of the two groups in the posttest could be concluded that there was a significant difference. This indicates that the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and, of course, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This shows that the implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using vlog media significantly improves student learning outcomes in the experimental group. (2) The implementation of the student facilitator and explaining learning model using vlog media also increases the creativity of elementary school students in the social studies subject in Panakkukang District, Makassar City

The paper emphasises the importance of fairy tale, as the preferred literary genre in lower elementary grades, and its influence on children’s education and personality development. A fairy tale is a rich source of aesthetic perceptions and pleasant emotions, as well as a powerful motivator for developing positive personality traits. In order to examine the attitudes of lower elementary school students towards the reception of fairy tale as a literary genre, a survey was conducted. The sample included 360 third grade elementary school students. The results show that students are very fond of reading and exploring fairy tales, but they also face some problems in understanding and experiencing them, which stresses the importance of implementing different approaches in teaching.

In the field of K-12 education, the demand for effective coding education is gradually expanding with various coding tools such as Scratch being popularly used as an effective learning environment. However, an answer to the question of what constitutes appropriate computing concepts for children (e.g. elementary school students) has not been fully answered. In this regard, this study worked to develop computational fairy tales (CFT) for coding beginners and applied it to the elementary school classroom environment in Korea. This CFT was developed by extracting the concepts of computer science through literature analysis, developing a plot/episode and creating a story. The final CFT developed is composed of 15 core computational concepts. 152 elementary students participated in the experiment where students read the CFT and solved related problems over two weeks period. We analyzed the effects of the CFT on the acquisition of basic computing concepts and coding attitudes. The results of the study showed that both the score of computing concept comprehension and attitude was enhanced significantly (p<.001). This study demonstrates the positive educational effects of CFTs in fostering understanding of basic computing concepts before students begin to code with algorithms directly.
