<p class="normal" align="center"><span lang="EN-US">Writing poetry learning is a productive learning activity. Based on the results of interviewing teachers, there are problems in writing poetry learning at Vocational High School 1 Sukoharjo, which is difficult for the students to determine the themes, the use of diction and the less different metaphors, and the mismatch of the message with the contents of the poem. Besides, the students' motivation in following the lesson is still low. This study aims to improve learning motivation and writing skills with audiovisual media. This research is class action research that is held two-cycle. Each cycle consists of action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data research sources are through learning activity, informan, and documents. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and test. The validity of data was investigated through triangulation techniques of data sources and methods. The data analysis technique used in this research are comparative descriptive techniques and critical analysis technique. The results showed that the use of audiovisual media could increase learning motivation by 5.71% in pre-action, 61,76% in the first cycle, and 97,14% in the second cycle. The use of audiovisual media can also improve students' poetry writing skills by 17% in pre-action, 66% in the first cycle, and 91% in the second cycle.</span></p>

<p>The background of this study is the lack of students activity in the conventional learning on desktopbased<br />visual programming subjects. As a result, many students do not understand the material provided by the<br />teacher. The purpose of this study is to determine the enhancement in the learning activity of student by<br />utilizing props inventory application program for students of SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta.<br />The research was conducted by using class action research with 2 cycles. The subject of study taken is<br />the class XI RPL A in SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta. The research object is the quality of the learning process, ie the<br />activity of learning. The experiment was conducted on 2nd semester academic year 2013/2014. The data<br />collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The Data analysis technique using the qualitative<br />analysis refers to the analysis model Miles and Huberman.<br />Based on the result of the research , we can conclude that an increase in the learning activity of precycle<br />student learning is 34,43%, in cycle 1 is 71,65%, and increased to 77,04% in cycle 2. It is proved that the<br />props inventory application program helps students to increase the learning activity on a desktop-based visual<br />programming subject .</p>

This research was conducted in SMA N 1 Petang in odd semester of 2013/2014 School Year. Class Action Research has been carried out from the problem that is: the low motivation and study result of Reaction Redox Basic Competence (KD) in previousyears of first semester of Class XII IPA students. Class XII IPA 1 selected, as research subject with the objects of research are the motivation and learning achievements. With success criteria: ≥ Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM). The set up KKM is 75; Absorption Power (DS) of at least 75%; Classic completeness (KK) of at least 80%; Motivation ≥ 66.17. The results showed that the use of Audiovisual Media can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of students with average learning motivation 77.06 and average learning outcomes (X) = 77.03 Absorption = 77.03% Classical Exhaustion (KK) = 81, 15. This shows that the use of audiovisual media can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of Class XII IPA 1 Odd semester students of 2013-2014 School Year on Redox Reaction Basic Competence.

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students' narrative writing skills at SDN 003 Tasik Juang. This research was conducted in class IV with a total of 25 students. The purpose of this study is to improve students' narrative writing skills by implementing guided writing strategies. This research is a class action research consisting of two cycles with stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed in learning 1 the number of students who completed as many as 19 people with a percentage of 76% and as many as 6 people who did not complete with a percentage of 24%. In learning 2 the number of students who completed as many as 21 people with a percentage of 84% and as many as 4 people who did not complete with a percentage of 16%. In learning 3 the number of students who completed as many as 22 people with a percentage of 88% and as many as 3 people who did not complete with a percentage of 12%. In the last study, the number of students who completed as many as 23 people with a percentage of 92% and as many as 2 people who did not complete with a percentage of 8%. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the implementation of the guided writing strategy has proven to be effective in improving the learning outcomes of narrative writing skills of the fourth grade students of SDN 003 Tasik Juang.

The purpose of this research for increase activities and result study of XI TKR B students of Vocational High School Tamansiswa academic year 2015/2016 in electrical light vehicle. Type of this research is action research class, subject of this research is XI TKR B students amount 25 students and the object is increase activities and result of study in electrical light vehicle using guided discovery method. Data accumulator technique in this research using observation, interview, test, and documentation. Data analysis technique about students doing observation during learning activity, while the result of study conduct by calculating the average value and percentage that completed KKM. Result of this research showing after using guided discovery method, activeness and result of student learning increase. It can be seen pra-cycle condition students activeness percentage 44,8%, cycle I percentage of students of activity 62%, cycle II percentage of students activity 70,8%, cycle III percentage of students activity 83,6%, while students average value before activity 64,40 with percentage of completeness about 33,33%, cycle I student average score 7,04 with percentage of completeness about 76%, cycle II students average before increased to 7,56 with percentage of completeness about 88% and cycle III students average score increased to 7,84 with percentage of completeness about 96%.

This is a Classroom Action Reserach in an attemp to improve students’ activity in learning Math subject of Grade VIII.1 SMPN 3 Koto Baru on the material of the samenes linear held from September to Desember 2014. The research is formulated in two cycles of twice classroom meetings for each cycle. Every cycle meeting drives four phases; planning, action,observation, and reflection. Instruments applied, are students’ activities observation sheets and questionaires. Analysis technique is Qualitative Descriptive and Percentage. The finding result of the reasearch in average is gained improvement to the students’ learning activity at every matter or each indicator from cycle one to cycle two; it is from 54% to 64%.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa implementasi scientific approach pada outdoor learning dalam mata kuliah Ilmu Lingkungan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan IPA Semester Genap T.A. 2014/2015. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Pelaksanaan tindakan dilakukan dengan menerapkan scientific approach yang meliputi mengamati, menanya, menalar, mencoba, membentuk jejaring pada kegiatan outdoor learning. Peserta didik diarahkan untuk aktif mengamati, bertanya, memikirkan, bereksperimen atau mencoba, sampai dengan menyampaikan dan mengomunikasikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi scientific approach pada outdoor learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Motivasi belajar mahasiswa mengalami kenaikan sebesar 5,08% dari prasiklus sampai dengan siklus 2 dengan kategori kualifikasi motivasi tinggi. Motivasi belajar pada prasiklus sebesar 72,65%, pada siklus 1 sebesar 73,57% dan pada siklus 2 sebesar 77,73%.Kata kunci: scientific approach, outdoor learning, motivasi, penelitian tindakan kelas Abstract. This study aims to find out that the implementation of the scientific approach to the outdoor learning courses in Environmental Science can increase learning motivation of students in the academic year 2014/2015. This research is a classroom action research which has two cycles. Each cycle consists of action planning, execution and observation, and reflection. Implementation of the actions carried out by applying a scientific approach that includes observing, asking, reasoning, trying, forming networks in outdoor learning activities. Students are directed to actively observing, questioning, thinking, experimenting, up to convey and communicate. The results showed that the implementation of the scientific approach to the outdoor learning can increase student motivation to learn. The motivation of student learning has increased by 5.08% from pre-cycle to the second cycles with high motivation qualification category. Learning motivation is 72.65%, 73.57% and 77.73% for pre-cycle, the first cycle, and the second cycle, respectively. Keywords: scientific approach, outdoor learning, motivation, class action research

This study aims to describe the process and learning outcomes through the activity of playing mattress substations to improve the ability to recognize vowels in children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted at TK Villa Beta Padang. The method used is Classroom Action Research. The research procedure consists of: planning, action and observation, reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Pre-action was carried out to determine the percentage of ability to recognize vowels by 51.07%, increasing to 63.39% after the first cycle, and increasing to 84.82% after the second cycle. An increase of 84.82% in the second cycle proves that playing the mattress substation can improve the ability to recognize vowels in early childhood. The ability to recognize letters can be developed through mattress substation playing activities, which can train children's memory, can train the ability to recognize letter shapes and problem solving skills.

This research is based on the lack of student’s participation in learning PKn subject. This research is aimed to improve the participation in learning of students grade VI SDN 17 Batang Anai by implementing guided teaching model. This is a class action research that consists of two cycles including four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data of research were obtained through observation sheets, and test. Obtained data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Percentage of student’s participation in proposing ideas is 30% in cycle I and become 77.5% in cycle II. Meanwhile, percentage of student’s participation in answering questions is 40% in cycle I and become 85% in cycle II. Percentage of student’s participation in proposing questions is 17.5% in cycle I and become 70% in cycle II.  Hence, it can be concluded that guided teaching model can improve participation in learning PKn subject of students grade VI SDN 17 Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.

This study aims to improve the learning activity and psychomotor ability of Vocational High School (SMK) students in Metal Fabrication Technique on oxyacetillin welding study by using Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method according to Curriculum 2013. The research method uses action research research in two cycles, while each cycle consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Data was collected using observation method with checklist instrument and rating scale while data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed as follows: 1) the application of PBL method on the learning of Oksi Asetilin Laser can increase student learning activity by 11,20%; 2) improvement of learning result of psychomotor aspect after applying Problem Based Learning by 20,20% with psychomotor aspect ability level that is work preparation and use of tool, systematics and work method, work result, work attitude and speed of doing work (time); 3) after the application of PBL the number of students who reached the Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) on the cognitive aspect learning outcome of 91.31%; and 4) Problem Based Learning is aligned with the scientific approach of the Curriculum 2013.

This study aims to increase students' motivation to learn mathematics on the subject of circles through the application of a team games tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research which consists of two cycles and each of them consists of four main activities, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection in an interrelated spiral. The subjects of this study were students of class X Accounting at SMKN 1 Praya Tengah, totaling 32 people. Data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires and observations as well. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that students' learning motivation on the subject of the circle has increased from cycle I to cycle II. The attention aspect of the first cycle at the first meeting was 18.75%, the second meeting was 56.25%, in the second cycle 81.25%. The tenacity aspect of the first cycle of the first meeting was 12.50%, the second meeting was 50%, the second cycle was 75%. Aspects of perseverance in the first cycle of the first meeting 25%, at the second meeting 56.25%, the second cycle 87.5%. The interest aspect of the first cycle of the first meeting is 6.25%, the second meeting is 43.75%, the second cycle is 75%. The courage aspect of the first cycle of the first meeting was 18.75%, and the first cycle of the second meeting was 56.25%, the second cycle was 81.25%. The results of the motivation questionnaire in the first cycle of the first meeting were 50.42%, in the first cycle the second meeting was 80.42% and increased in the second cycle to 92.92%. So it can be concluded that cooperative learning of the type of teams games tournament (TGT) can increase students' learning motivation on the subject of circles in class X Accounting at SMKN 1 Praya Tengah.
