The incompatibility of understanding the concept is often referred to as misconception. Students' misconceptions need to be identified and then minimized so that the learning process of students goes well. This study aims to determine the profile of physical misconceptions by using three tier essays on the material of Newton's law. This research is descriptive research with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPA 2 which consints 31 students with sample selection techniques using Random Sampling. The data collection techniques used in the form of tests and interviews. Data analysis of this misconception is carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. Analysis of quantitative data to be analyzed is the percentage of scientific knowledge, misconceptions, no self-confidence and lack of knowledge. While qualitative data analysis by processing data from research results in the form of interview recordings presented in the form of descriptive data exposure. Based on data analysis, obtained from the 6 questions tested revealed misconceptions in students with a total of 9 misconceptions profiles, so that it can be concluded that in SMAN 1 Pademawu there were misconceptions in the material of Newton's law. This research investigated the factors contributing to learners’ speaking performance and exploring the reasons why those factors are perceived by learners to contribute to their speaking performance. This was descriptive research that used both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The participants of this research were 28 EFL learners who were selected by using cluster random sampling. Closed-ended questionnaires, open-ended questionnaires, and interviews were used to collect the data. The data from closed-ended questionnaires were analyzed quantitatively using the descriptive statistics of frequencies and percentages, while the data from open-ended questionnaires and interviews were analyzed qualitatively. Data from all sources were triangulated to validate the data. The result of the closed-ended questionnaire showed that the factors which contribute the most to learners’ speaking performance were the time for preparation and topical knowledge with the same percentages (97.4%). The least factor that contributes to learners’ speaking performance was the pressure to perform well (60.5%). Those factors contribute to learners' speaking performance in both positive and negative ways. These influences can either help motivate learners to speak English or even discourage them from doing so. It all depends on how learners’ value, respond to, and behave towards those factors. Furthermore, this research also gives contributions on factors that contribute to learners' speaking performance; those are vocabulary and interaction with native speakers.

Learning difficulty is a condition where the students are not able to compherend what they learn so it causes the low exhaustiviness of students learning outcomes. This is caused by various factors, one of them is internal factor, namely learning style which has not been noticed by teacher, because it can help the learning process become faster and easier. This researcher was descriptive research which generally aimed to: (1) determine students learning style based on VARK learning styles, (2) find out students learning difficulty in chemistry subject, and (3) find out students learning difficulty in each type of learning style. The instruments of this research were questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the data analysis, the researcher got the information that the tendency of students learning style were dominated by V-A-R-K learning style (42,87%). There were 75% of students who experienced learning difficulty on the material of chemical calculation (stoichiometry) especially for the indicators in determining calculation based on the basic of chemical laws and morality based on the mole concept. It was due to the teacher tended to use lecture method. Morever, learning difficulty was also because the students have not known learning style they have, so that the students could not focus on learning style but they were more focused on finishing calculation tasks.
