The article presents the systematic theoretical and methodological analysis of psychological aspects of sailors’ professional work reliability. Sailors’ reliability is associated with their performance capacity, which affects efficiency of their work and reflects, to a greater extent, the procedural work characteristics. We have determined the main integral indicators of sailors’ work: efficiency (work achievements: productivity, speed, completeness, etc.) and quality (functional or technical characteristics). A marine specialist’s reliability is determined by their erroneous actions or through the category of human performance capacity, but this category focuses mainly on a specialist’s internal potentialities and capabilities, but does not fully disclose the working process (stability of functioning) and its result (reliability, failure-free). The features of sailors’ stress and its consequences are described. The features of sea transport specialists’ professional competence in the aspect of psychological readiness for work are determined. The reliability of sailors’ professional work is determined not only by professional characteristics, but also by their motivational, cognitive, psychomotor, emotional-volitional, temperamental and personal characteristics. Researchers describe the signs of professional work reliability with the aim not only to identify the procedural and effective parameters of work, but also to determine corresponding psychophysiological characteristics. The parameters assessing sailor’s psychological readiness to reliable professional work are determined. The psychological and physiological mechanisms stabilizing sea and river transport specialists’ health is determined; we should point that prolonged and intensive work lead to decreased working capability, fatigue, as a natural body reaction determined physiologically. The mechanisms stabilizing psychological health and the main stages of the formation of marine specialists’ work reliability are theoretically substantiated: potential professional physical and psychological readiness, individual characteristics leading to professional mistakes at sea, high-quality professional education and further trainings, adaptation to professional activities at sea, regular work. Regular trainings are important, because they help to improve sailors’ psycho-emotional stability. Professional training for the specialists should involve the development of their self-regulation as a psychological mechanism ensuring the reliability of their professional work. Psychological support of professional education can act as a technology forming the reliability of marine specialists’ professional work. Such psychological support shall help to create an orientation field for sailors’ professional development, strengthening their professional Self, maintaining their adequate self-esteem, helping them master the methods for professional psychological self-preservation. However, the widely used practice to assess only limited number of skills limits also the development of a holistic portfolio that includes all the necessary skills required for good reliability and efficiency at the workplace with certain responsibility. The examined scientific studies have shown that maritime transport specialists’ work take place in extreme conditions, so in order to improve their reliability, training alerts, simulators, business games and psychological trainings should be used.

At present, a new concept of industrial production is being implemented in Uzbekistan. The continuous process of updating equipment and technology places high demands on the training of specialists in the field of preparing future foreign language teachers. In modern scientific, technical and socioeconomic conditions, the main requirement for professional training of a specialist is the guarantee of the formation of a clearly defined level of professional competence. This inevitably entails a change in traditional educational technologies, in which it is impossible to assess the potential learning outcome. As a fundamental one, we accept the provision that the main, achievable goal of the functioning of the professional education system is to build the competence of a specialist, which also includes the development of professional qualities of his personality. Thus, the formulated goal of vocational training, in our opinion, is more consistent with the real requirements and conditions of production. The universally noted goal-setting as an orientation to the training of highly qualified specialists who are fluent in their chosen profession remains at the level of declarations, without changing the real situation in practice. The article on modular training analyzes the integration of the principles of modularity, self-organization and context that can guarantee the formation of a certain level of professional competence of future specialists, which determines the relevance of the chosen scientific direction of research

The growing demands on the modern teacher dictate that at the stage of professional training, students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the pedagogical reality and form the necessary professional competencies in it. Such immersion will not only improve the quality of teacher training, but also make changes in the “traditional” university education, provide the necessary practice-oriented professional education. The purpose of the article is to identify changes in the formation of professional competencies of students participating in the project “Family Tutor”. Changes were identified during the survey, self-assessment and interviewing of students. The material of the study was the data of the project “Family Tutor”, supported by the Timchenko Foundation and implemented during 2019–2021 on the basis of the Glazov State Pedagogical Institute named after V. G. Korolenko. In the course of the study, using a self-assessment sheet and a questionnaire, an increase in the level of formation of professional competencies of students-tutors was revealed. To determine the growth factors, the students were interviewed. It showed that the growth of professional competencies is mainly determined by: regular communication with the child and with parents, project participants; participation in diagnostic activities to identify personal problems of the child; implementation of a comprehensive analysis of factors, including those related to psychological health, leading to the appearance of risks, in the relationship of the teacher, child, family, etc. Based on the identified factors, adjustments were made to the “traditional” educational process. The study showed that the participation of students in the project contributes to the formation of professional competencies, allows students-tutors to gain professional experience directly in real conditions and, accordingly, to increase the practice-oriented education.

Successful performance of these tasks is facilitated by the presence of the qualities revealed in the article. Different points of view and approaches to the definition of the concept of fundamentalization of education are revealed. The concepts of fundamentalization of professional training of the future specialist are based on the purposes and functions of fundamentalization and on ways and means of its achievement, etc. Most authors agree only that: the fundamentalization of education is aimed at improving the quality of education and education of the individual and is necessary for the formation of pedagogical culture of future masters as part of their professional competence. Others imply the formation of culture and worldview, increasing creative and intellectual potential, the formation of professional competence of the specialist and the potential for further education, and so on.
