Many  teachers  understand  that  the  use  of  nonverbal  communication  in teaching process is a good way to support the students’ understanding. By this effort, students may reach good comprehension through their belief for every act of teaching  and  learning  process.  This  belief can  be scripted  to  picture their perception. The students’ perception is all the students’ mental images and feeling which happen during their activities in the school. This means that any activities where the students gain information, the perception exist there. In this thesis, the students’ perception determines the function of the teacher’s nonverbal communication. The aim of this research was to investigate the students’ perception on the teacher’s nonverbal communication in teaching English at SMAN 14 Bombana. The research used a qualitative design with the subject of the study was class X and XI IPA. The total numbers of these two classes were 47. The researcher used classroom observation sheet and semi-structure interview as the instrument of the research, the interview which was the questions were formulated but, in the field, the interviewer might modify the format or questions during the interview process. This process took place to both of the students and the teacher. After collecting data, the data was analyzed descriptively. The result showed that the students agreed that the use of nonverbal communication in the teaching and learning process works. All of the expected meaning behind the nonverbal communication could be understood by the students well. The entire teacher’s   nonverbal   communication   where   the   researcher   focused   namely gestures, eye contact, and tone of voice functioned well. Most of the students agreed that the teacher’s nonverbal communication made them motivated to learn, focused their attention, and made them eagerly to speak, and sometimes, it made the students proud

Teacher isn‘t one of all source of science in learning process. So, if the teacher needs survive in his or her contribution in the learning teaching process, they must do some innovations. Its means, the teacher  must have work hard ethic in doing to do the innovation, learning approach, chosing the metode and media. In order to make the learning teaching process run well, therefore the teacher is not only has mastered his or her competence but also has mastered the emotion quotion, spiritual quotion and has mastered the information, communication and technology. Beside that, the teacher who has work hard ethic,  is the teacher who has optimism. It means, in doing his task of the learning teaching process must have the strong motivation. So, the teacher will get the best achievement.

A prototype of an automated decision support system for creative universities has been developed, which will allow assessing the achievements particularly talented students and identifying the needs in the learning process in order to help organize the educational process in accordance with identified capabilities. Use of a decision support system based on the Bayesian classifier is suggested which will allow to evaluate factors contributing to the progress in teaching students particular techniques, and in perspective to assess the possible resources that will be required to make changes to the learning. The list of specific performance indicators is given. The system should contribute to the formation of the learning plan, taking into account the capabilities of both a group art workshop as a whole, and special needs of an individual to develop, if necessary an individual approach.

One effort that teachers can do to improve their learning process is by developing learning resources for themselves and their students. Teachers can use student workbook (LKS) to be used as a source of learning for students. A student workbook that contains material summaries can help students more effectively understand the materials. Student workbook containing a variety of practice questions is believed to affect the effectiveness of student’s learning. This research aims to analyze the effects of using student workbook (LKS) towards the effectiveness of students’ learning. This research was conducted to see students' perceptions of the role of using student workbook (LKS) towards the effectiveness of student learning. To collect data, this study used a questionnaire distributed to 24 students using a survey administration application, consisting of six questions related to the students' perceptions of the role of using student workbook (LKS) towards student’s learning process. After all, participants had completed the questionnaire, the data were then categorized based on relevant findings. The findings reveal that the use of student workbook gives beneficial impact on students’ learning since it can be one of the sources of learning besides the teacher’s explanation. It also makes students easier in understanding the materials with simple content and various practices. In the end, this research hopefully can be useful as a reference or guide for future researchers who want to conduct similar research on the use of student workbook (LKS) as one of the resources in the teaching process.
