The ppurpose of this research is to determine whether the implementation of the quality of supervising strategys (quality) increasing the selling volume by UD.MOTIF Pematangsiantar. It is a field research conducted through surveys and interviews to the leaders and employees UD.MOTIFThe outcomes of this research is to help the entrepreneurs/craftsmen to create a monitoring quality method of products to be better, to help the entrepreneurs/craftsmen to manage the quality of product in accordance with the consumers’desire and help to distribute their products.The conclusion of research, the quality supervising method conducted is already good by UD.MOTIF where the principal supervised the workers directly on the field. To manage the quality of products according to consumer desire UD.MOTIF leaders need to have a good standard of human resources, trained and experienced in the art of seni Ukir Jepara (Jepara sculpture) and sufficient fund to run the business and support by the avaibility of raw materials. UD.MOTIF product marketing has been running well by creating a corporate blog on the internet, radio ads, brochures, infonmation by word of mouth and following the exhibitions held in Pematangsiantar.

The situation in this area, requires actors to attract and develop human resources, including help in proper implementation of the strategic tasks that targeted by those institutions. According to the opinions and viewpoints of management scholars, the competitive advantage resource is the most important issue for organizations in the third millennium, which can be achieved through the construction of organizational knowledge, human capital, and their development to serve in transforming them into the learning and expert organizations, to know how to accelerate to be more efficient and flexible in the market.

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang potensi dan peluang, p ermasalahan sertapengembagan industri rumput laut. Traditional cast brass handicrafts Majapahit is one of the nation's cultural heritage which has a high historical value. The uniqueness and quality become the hallmark of this craft products. The results of handmade products such as sculptures, wall hangings, souvenirs, ornaments doors and so on. To increase the sales of traditional handicrafts of brass castings, required Majapahit applicative technical efforts in improving the quality of products which are ecofriendly. Quality improvement method such as Six sigma. Six sigma focuses on decreasing flawed rate, by reaching the standard 3, 4 flawed in a thousand possibility. Six sigma has 5 phases; define, measure, analyze, improvement, and control. In this research, six sigma is applied in producing cast brass handicraft starting from making the master mold, preparation of smelting raw materials, cooling process, releasing of the mold, and finishing. Purposefully to improve the quality by overcoming and decreasing the high of flawed possibility and also applying marketing mixture in improving the market segmentation of traditional cast brass of Majapahit market. The result is quality improvement is shown by decreasing happen in number of flawed product in total of mean for about 154, 8 decreased to 59,5. While the calculation of the six sigma, flawed product of cast brass handicraft is for about 1,7625 sigma value or being in level 2 and increased to 3,725 or being in level 4 with the flawed possibility in amount 235,000 for thousand times of production. The ability of production for the requirement which is wanted by the consumers and owning a good enough capability but still needed some correction to achieve world class home industry

AbstrakMakanan adalah salah satu hal penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Semakin berkualitas suatu makanan maka dapat menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas juga. Akan tetapi maraknya pemalsuan salah satunya pemalsuan tanggal kadaluarsa mengakibatkan masyarakat harus jeli dan teliti dalam memilih produk. Salah satu makanan yang digemari masyarakat adalah jenis kue dan bolu. Toko Kemuning salah satu toko yang banyak memproduksi jenis-jenis kue tersebut untuk didistribusikan dan dijual sendiri di tokonya. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan masyakarat terhadap kualitas produk yang dihasilkan oleh Toko Kemuning maka pada penelitian ini dibuat sebuah aplikasi untuk mengelola data produk, dimana konsumen dapat mengecek tanggal kadaluarsa melalui anroid dengan cara scan qr code yang terdapat dalam kemasan kue. Adapun yang digenerate ke dalam bentuk qr code adalah id produk,id tersebut berisi string unik yang dienkripsi menggunakan algoritma vigenere chipper sehingga tidak mudah dideteksi oleh orang lain. Admin dapat melakukan pengelolaan data produk sehingga ketika toko memproduksi kue, data dapat tersimpan di database dan qr code dapat dicetak. Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen derta menjaga kualitas produk dari toko kemuning.Kata Kunci��Kue, Enkripsi, Algoritma Vigenere Chiper�AbstractFood is one of the important things in people's lives. The more quality a food can produce quality human resources as well. However, the rise of counterfeiting, one of which is falsification of expiration date, causes the public to be observant and careful in choosing products. One of the foods that are favored by the public is a type of cake and sponge cake. Kemuning Shop is one shop that produces many types of cakes to be distributed and sold alone in the store. Therefore, to increase public trust in the quality of products produced by the Kemuning Shop, an application is made to manage product data, where consumers can check the expiration date via anroid by scanning the qr code contained in the cake packaging. As for what is generated in the form of qr code is a product id, the id contains a unique string that is encrypted using the vigenere chipper algorithm so that it is not easily detected by others. Admins can manage product data so that when a shop produces cookies, data can be stored in a database and the QR code can be printed. With this research it is expected to increase consumer confidence and maintain product quality from kemuning shops.�Keywords��Cake, Encription, Vigenere Chiper Algorithm

AbstrakPerlunya evaluasi strategi dalam menghadapi pasar yang dinamis dapat mendukung suatu organisasi untuk mampu berkompetisi, bahkan mampu memenangkan persaingan. Namun UMKM walaupun memiliki fleksibilitas dan ketahanan yang tinggi dalam perekonomian, beberapa keterbatasan seperti kapabilitas finansial dan sumber daya manusia membuat UMKM harus dapat menentukan strategi yang tepat dalam meraih keunggulan kompetitif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan strategi pengembangan kinerja sumber daya manusia pada UMKM di Kota Malang melalu implementasti analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weakneses, Opportunities, dan Threatments). Hasil menunjukkan indikator Strength yang paling tinggi adalah S5 (Pelayanan) yaitu sebesar 4.20. Sementara itu, indikator Weakness yang paling tinggi adalah W4 (Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia), yaitu sebesar 3.20. Kemudian indikator Opportunity yang paling tinggi adalah O1 (Oleh-oleh khas daerah) dan O5 (Bahan Baku) yaitu sebesar 4. Sementara itu, indikator Threat yang paling tinggi adalah T3 (Pesaing pendatang baru), yaitu sebesar 2.3. Kemudian untuk lokasi titik potong A, B, C, dan D, yaitu titik E, berada kuadran I (Strategi agresif). Dengan demikian, analisis SWOT terhadap UMKM di Kota Malang menunjukkan posisi yang bagus, sehingga dapat diterapkan strategi SO.Kata kunci: SWOT, UMKM, strategi peningkatan kinerja.AbstractThe need for evaluation of strategies in dealing with dynamic markets can support an organization to be able to compete, even able to win the competition. However, although UMKM has high flexibility and resilience in the economy, several limitations such as financial capabilities and human resources make MSMEs must be able to determine the right strategy in achieving competitive advantage. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy for developing human resource performance at MSMEs in Malang through the implementation of SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Treatments). The results show the highest Strength indicator is S5 (Service), which is equal to 4.20. Meanwhile, the most top Weakness indicator is W4 (Quality of Human Resources), which is 3.20. Then the highest Opportunity indicator is O1 (By-Products typical) and O5 (Raw Materials) that is equal to 4. Meanwhile, the most top Threat indicator is T3 (Competing new entrants), which is 2.3. Then for the intersection points A, B, C, and D, which are point E, are in quadrant I (aggressive strategy). Thus, SWOT analysis of MSMEs in Malang shows a good position, so that SO strategies can be applied.Keywords: SWOT, SMEs, performance improvement strategies

Ensuring the required level of quality of products produced by textile enterprises involves not only the final (output) control of its quality indicators, but also ensuring operational control over the relevant characteristics of raw materials and semi-finished products in technological processes throughout the entire production chain of textile material. Within the framework of the functioning of the quality management system of a textile enterprise, when conducting operational monitoring of technological processes, appropriate automated technical controls are required, built with the use of modern information technologies. In this paper, in order to assess the quality of the carding process in the production of combed or carded yarn, a method is proposed for the digital study of the structural unevenness in the surface density of this type of non-woven material, based on the principle of determining the sectorial and radial characteristics for this quality indicator.

The demands of international consumers for eco-labeling products and supported by Indonesia's considerable shrimp export potential, should be an opportunity for the shrimp processing industry in Indonesia which has implemented GAA-BAP eco-labeling certification. The purpose of this study was formulated as a good strategy to improve the application of GAA-BAP eco-labeling in the shrimp processing industry. This research was a descriptive study with a case study. The research had done at PT. XYZ Sidoarjo. Data were collected through observation, interview, focus group discussion (FGD) and secondary data collection. The data were analyzed using IFE and EFE matrix, IE matrix, and SWOT analysis. The result showed that the strategy could be used to increase the application of GAA-BAP eco-labeling were implemented Strengths-Opportunities (S-O) and combined it with development or stability according to company position in IE matrix. The strategy could be chosen to improve the application GAA-BAP eco-labeling at shrimp processing industry were optimized human resources, eco-labeling guidance, company location, and market network; utilized the company location and market network to increase the procurement of raw materials; maintained the good work integrity and the quality of eco-labeling guidance; also increased the quality of GAA-BAP eco-labeling products.

Since 2015, the Government has allocated village development funds in the form of Village Fund policies of IDR 20.7 trillion, then in 2016 it increased to IDR 46.9 trillion, and continues to increase in the following years. However, based on field research in a number of regions in Indonesia, it turns out that the use of Village Funds is not optimal, some of which have been proven wrongly targeted, not transparent in use, and not accountable in reporting. The aspect of planning activities and the quality of human resources implementing policies and coordination between parties that should play a role are still a major problem. The PPP (Public-Private Partnership) model is actually intended for the development of large-scale projects, such as the construction of highways or seaports and airports. But by taking the substance of cooperation from the parties that each have strengths, the PPP model (and its variants) may be applicable in the use of Village Funds. Using secondary data analysts, the following article discusses the theoretical aspects of the advantages of the PPP model. This model is juxtaposed with cases of success in building the economic self-reliance of rural communities with the help of private parties and academics. It is assumed that the partnership model can be an alternative solution to further optimize the use of Village Funds in order to reduce poverty in rural areas.

This study is a qualitative research by exploring both primary and secondary data. Its used  direct interviews to the owner of UD. Rembulan Printing and the five people have had appointed to be informants. The results showed that there are 4 strategies to improve the employees performance. Growth strategy (SO) It means that the interpersonal relationships can help the harmonize relationships between employees so that they comfortable and last long in the company. The good services and knowledge sharing can maintain the good relationships with consumers and suppliers (of raw materials). Diversification Strategy (WO)  The good recruitment and chancing for fresh graduates who’s expert in financial reporting and good administration. Good relationships between employees can provide motivation and solutions for employees who want to get out of the company. Influencing and providing the best advice to prevent employees for leaving the company. Differentiation Strategy (ST)  Management and the employees must be a harmonize relationships for maintaining human resources who experts in printing. And Defensive Strategy (WT) It means the management must improve the quality of human resources.

Разработана технология получения желейного мармелада повышенной биологической ценности с использованием пищевых волокон. В качестве объекта исследований выбран желейный мармелад как имеющий низкую пищевую ценность, большое до 70 количество углеводов. Для обогащения изделия использовали растворимые пищевые волокна олигосахариды в виде препарата инулина в количестве 6 по массе выхода, что соответствует характеристике изделия с высоким содержанием пищевых волокон согласно ТР ТС 022/2011. В качестве студнеобразователя использован желатин в количестве 7 к желейной массе. Определено оптимальное соотношение сахара и патоки 2 : 1 соответственно. Установлено, что при добавлении инулина в количестве 6 повышается вязкость желейной массы на 0,7 Па с, что не затрудняет процесс формования количество редуцирующих веществ увеличивается на 0,4, что не ухудшает качества изделий. Доказана возможность использования препарата инулина для обогащения желейного мармелада пищевыми волокнами и получения изделий функциональной направленности. The technology of obtaining jelly marmalade of increased biological value using dietary fibers has been developed. As an object of research, jelly marmalade was chosen as having a low nutritional value and a large amount of carbohydrates up to 70. For the enrichment of the product, soluble dietary fibers oligosaccharides in the form of the preparation of inulin were used, in the amount of 6 by weight of the yield, which corresponds to the characteristics of the product with a high content of dietary fibers according to TR CU 022/2011. Gelatin in the amount of 7 of the jelly mass was used as a gelling agent. The optimal ratio of sugar and molasses 2 : 1, respectively, determined. It was found that the addition of insulin in an amount of 6 increases the viscosity of the jelly mass by 0,7 Pa s, which does not complicate the molding process. Also, the number of reducing substances increases by 0,4, which does not worsen the quality of products. The possibility of using the preparation of inulin for the enrichment of jelly marmalade by dietary fibers and the production of functional products has been substantiated.
