This study aims to investigate the needs ofstudents and lecturers in writing instructions using theprocess genre approach. Besides, this research is also basedon facts which reveal that decision making on learningobjectives is only taken from the curriculum and syllabusreview used. But unfortunately, the preference of studentsand lecturers for learning needs is actually ignored. Themethod used in this study is a qualitative method usingquestionnaires and interviews as research instruments. Thenumber of participants in this study was 3 Indonesianlanguage lecturers and 65 students at the State IslamicUniversity of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. Theparticipants of the students were selected by using apurposive random sampling technique. The results showedthat the need for a writing learning model design using theprocess genre approach. Specifically, the findings of thisstudy include several aspects needed by students andlecturers, namely: (1) a comprehensive learning approachinvolving students, colleagues, and lecturers, (2) writingassessment must cover broader aspects, and (3) the need for publication as part of the writing activity. Furthermore, the syntax in the learning model based on the needs analysis is: (1) recognize the form of the text, (2) analyze the text, (3) discuss the text, (4) write the text independently, (5)finalize the text, and (6) publish the text.

The objectives of the research were to (1) design an instructional model based on Connectivism and Constructivism to create innovation in real world experience, (2) assess the model designed–the designed instructional model. The research involved 2 stages: (1) the instructional model design and (2) the instructional model rating. The sample consisted of 7 experts, and the Purposive Sampling Technique was used. The research instruments were the instructional model and the instructional model evaluation form. The statistics used in the research were means and standard division. The research results were (1) the Instructional Model based on Connectivism and Constructivism to Create innovation in Real World Experience consisted of 3 components. These were Connectivism, Constructivism and Innovation in Real World Experience and (2) the instructional model rating was at a high level (=4.37, S.D.=0.41). The research results revealed that the Instructional Model Based on Connectivism and Constructivism to Create Innovation in Real World Experience was a model that can be used in learning, in that it promoted the creation of real world experience innovation.

The purpose of this study to determine the role of Transformational Leadership in increasing Job Satisfaction. The samples have been taken by random sampling technique selecting amounted to 249 samples from permanent lecturers of private Islamic High School in Jambi Province. This research uses a Sequential Explanatory Design Mixed Method that is first research using a quantitative method then deepen it with a qualitative method. This is intended to result in more in-depth and comprehensive research.The result shows that there is a positive correlation between transformational leadership which has a high effect on job satisfaction of the lecturers. The coefficient correlation is ry = 0,483 and coefficient determination ry = 0,233. It means that 65.90% of job satisfaction is influenced by transformational leadership, and the rest of it influenced by other factors.

The research aims to discuss(1) How planned of the headmaster in an effort to increase self-awareness of school residents regarding the importance of the environment, 2) How to implement planned programs related to efforts to increase self-awareness of school residents, and 3) identify supporting factors in implementation of the program carried out as an effort to increase self-awareness of school residents. The method of research used qualitative method. Subjects of this research consisted of headmaster, subject teachers, and students. Subjects of research is based on determining purposive random sampling technique. Collecting of data is through interviews, observation and documentation. The analyzing of data using the Miles Huberman analysis model with the several stages are collecting of data, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results show that there an increased in self-awareness of school residents about the environment after several programs had been carried out. The vision, mission and regulation of the school are being the one of programs that succeeded in increase awareness of school residents. The implementation program by applying clean fridays, installing CCTVs and coaching by the headmaster and teachers to the students directly. The supporting factors in  implementation of efforts to increase self-awareness of school residents to the environment are the commitment, awareness and desire of school residents to embody the programs that have been implemented. The strategy of headmaster is always monitor the activities of school residents through the CCTVs that have been installed and spot checking directly to be more effective and the results showed increased self-awareness of school residents for enviroment has occurred since last semester.

The low learning outcomes of mathematics are not appropriate thought of learning models in the classroom. Therefore, the NHT and TPS learning models can be applied to improve the learning of outcomes of the student. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes using the NHT learning model with the TPS learning model. The sampling technique is used as a random sampling cluster with 2 groups of experiments for the first experimental group  (classroom view of TPS model) and the second experimental group (classes of NHT modeling). The instrument of this research uses the test of mathematics learning result. The hypothesis test is used  T-Test. The conclusion of research that are differences in the outcomes of the two learning models (NHT and TPS) on learning outcomes, based on the marginal mean of the TPS learning model is better learning outcomes than the NHT learning model.

Abstract: Lack of practical activities in schools can result in a decrease in the creativity of students. worksheets based on the discovery learning model in them trigger students to think creatively and critically. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The purpose of this study is to look at the improvement of skills competencies which are assisted by student worksheets based on the discovery learning model. The data analysis technique is testing hypotheses where there is a difference which means the use of this student worksheet. Hypothesis testing conditions are to carry out normality tests for skill scores from both sample classes and homogeneity tests to see the distribution of values from two sample classes that have homogeneous data. after treatment is obtained, the average value of the skills of the experimental class is 78.62 and for the control class is 70.10.Abstrak: Kurangnya kegiatan praktikum di sekolah dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kreativitas siswa. lembar kerja berbasis model discovery learning di dalamnya memicu siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan yang dibantu oleh lembar kerja siswa berdasarkan pada model pembelajaran penemuan. Teknik analisis data menguji hipotesis di mana ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan lembar kerja siswa ini. syarat pengujian hipotesis adalah untuk melakukan tes normalitas untuk skor keterampilan dari kedua kelas sampel dan tes homogenitas untuk melihat distribusi nilai dari dua kelas sampel yang memiliki data homogen. setelah perawatan diperoleh, nilai rata-rata keterampilan dari kelas eksperimen adalah 78,62 dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 70,10.

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui perbedaan penalaran mahasiswa antara kelompok model pembelajaran kuantum (MPKu) dan kelompok model pembelajaran konvensional (MPK); (2) mengetahui perbedaan penalaran mahasiswa antara kelompok merangkum dengan teknik peta pikiran (MTPP) dan kelompok merangkum dengan teknik konvensional (MTK); dan (3) mengetahui interaksi antara model pembelajaran  (MP) dan teknik merangkum (TM) terhadap penalaran mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester II Jurusan PGSD FIP Undiksha. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah penalaran mahasiswa dengan tes penalaran. Data dianalisis dengan ANAVA dua jalan faktorial 2 x 2.Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan penalaran mahasiswa antara kelompok MPKu dan kelompok MPK; (2) terdapat perbedaan penalaran mahasiswa antara kelompok MTPP dan kelompok MTK; dan (3) terdapat interaksi antara MP dan TM terhadap penalaran mahasiswa. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian tersebut disarankan dosen untuk menggunakan MPKu dan MTPP dalam rangka meningkatkan penalaran mahasiswa. Kata-kata kunci: pembelajaran kuantum, teknik merangkum, penalaran  THE EFFECT OF QUANTUM LEARNING MODEL AND SUMMARIZES TECHNIQUE TOWARD STUDENT’S REASONING  ABSTRACTThis research aims are: (1) to know the different reasoning between group quantum learning model (QLM) with group conventional learning model (CLM); (2) to know the different between group summarize by mind map technique (SMMT) with group summarize by conventional technique (SCT); and (3) to know the interaction of learning model (LM) and summarize technique (ST) toward student’s reasoning. This research is quasi experiment. The population of this research is the second semester students of Primary Teacher Education Department, Ganesha University of Education. The sample was taken by random sampling technique. The data collected is student’s reasoning by reasoning test. The data analysis by two way factorial of ANOVA 2x2. The research finding showed that (1) there is different reasoning between group QLM with group CLM; (2) there is different between group SMMT with group SCT; and (3) there is interaction of LM and ST toward student’s reasoning. Based on that research finding it’s suggested to science lecture to able to use QLM and SMMT in order to increase student’s reasoning.      Key words: quantum learning, summarize technique, reasoning

Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Salafiyah Darul Falah Mataram yang berjumlah 153 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII B dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan desain pre-eksperimen (One Group Pretest Postest Design). Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan teknik cluster  random sampling . Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t test Sampel Related. Hasil perhitungan uji-t tes Sampel Related  didapatkan  sebesar dan sebesar dengan taraf signifikan . Karena , maka menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa.Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Teachers Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model for students' math problem solving skills. The population in this study is the students of grade VIII SMP Salafiyah Darul Falah Mataram, amounting to 153 students. The sample in this research is class VIII B with the number of 28 students. The type of research used is quantitative research, with pre-experiment design (One Group Pretest Postest Design). The sampling technique is using cluster random sampling technique. Technique of data analysis using test-t test Sampel Related. The result of t-test calculation of Sample Related test obtained t_hitung equal to 19,01 and t_table equal to 2,052 with significant level 5%. Because t_hitung≥t_tabel, then show that Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model effective to student's math problem solving ability.

The aim of this study is to analyze students’ mathematical connection ability on the topic of Phytagoras theorem which reviewed on using CORE learning model at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (intact group comparison design) with 54 students as the sample and they were taken by using Cluster random sampling technique. Sample was divided into two groups, 27 students as control class (using lecture) and 27 students as experimental class (using CORE).  Based on descriptive analysis, it was found: (a) the average of students’ mathematical connection ability before using lecture learning model was 50.82 (fair category) and after using lecture learning model was 73.66 (enough category) and (b) the average of students’ mathematical connection ability before using CORE learning model was 50.72 (fair category) and after using CORE learning model was 85.25 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using N-Gain, the result showed g= 0.369 (low category) for control class and g=0.706 (high category) for experimental class. It ‘s concluded that using CORE more effective than lecture learning model on the topic of Phytagoras  theorem at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan.

<p>The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of learning models to student achievement. Learning models compared between NHT-CTL, NHT and direct instruction. Method of research used quasi experimental with the factorial design of 3x1. Population of this research was all students class VIII in SMP Negeri at Madiun City. The sampling technique using a stratified cluster random sampling. Samples in this research were 266 students with 91 students as experimental class I, 88 students as experimental class II and 87 students as control class. Data collection methods used documentation and test.Hypothesis testing was performed using one-way analysis of variance with unequal cells. Based on the results of hypothesis testwere concluded that NHT-CTL learning model gave better achievement than NHT learning model and direct instruction, while NHT learning model and direct instruction gave the same achievement. </p>
