But in fact, students’ writing narrative text ability is still low, so researcher conduct a research in that field. The purposes of this research are to find out: 1) the extent of students’ writing narrative text ability, and 2) the significant effect of using character oriented local wisdom based learning model on students’ writing narrative text ability at the fourth semester students of english department in IPTS. The method of research is mix method by combining quantitative and qualitative method. The researcher collected the data by using interview and composition writing test. The sample was taken by using total sampling technique, it was 25 students. The data were then analyzed by using descriptive and inferential analysis, it was t-test formula by Arikunto. The findings of the research are the mean score of students’ writing ability before using character oriented local wisdom based learning model was 53.54 which categorized bad, then after using character oriented local wisdom based learning model was 82.50 which categorized good. The hypothesis testing showed that t-test was higher than t-table, it means that the hypothesis is accepted. Samples were selected using a random sampling technique. Knowledge competence of civic education data collection used multiple-choice objective test instruments. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test, namely polled variance. The results of data analysis obtained t-count = 2.880> t-table = 2.005 at a significance level of 5% with dk = n1 + n2-2 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in the knowledge competence of civic education between students who are taught the Value Clarification Technique learning model based on the folklore.

This study discusses the isomorphic learning model based on the Qur'an in early childhood Islamic education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method which was confirmed by three educators at PIAUD Amanah Bunda Tangerang during December 2019 to February 2020 through deep interviews. Research shows that in applying the isomorphic learning model, educators have several obstacles, namely: lack of parental support, lack of support from the surrounding environment, and lack of ability of educators to explore educational concepts in the Qur'an. Some of these obstacles can be overcome by conducting home visits, educational partners, and upgrading the study of the Qur'an. This study also shows that to foster noble character, it is carried out by introducing moral education, worship education and monotheism education. If associated with the isomorphic learning model, moral education is related to the disciplines of psychology, sociology, anthropology. While worship education is closely related to the science of health, nutrition and physiology. Finally, monotheism education is related to the science of neuroscience, aiming to optimize the work of the mind to study all of Allah's creations that exist on earth and in the sky. Thus, the isomorphic learning model based on the Qur'an which focuses on aspects of faith and morality as the foundation for early childhood Islamic education becomes an obligation to be implemented.

Most of teachers in Aceh have not applied innovative teaching models as suggested in the Curiculum 2013. Generally they teach without using curriculum models suggested in the 2013 curriculum. Teachers are not yet fully informed about the learning models, so teachers are difficulty and rarely apply in the learning process. Based on the problems experienced by these teachers, then the thing done to solve the problem is to provide training and mentoring activities. Subjects in this study teachers SDN Banda Aceh as many as 40 people. This study employed descriptive qualitative method. Training on the learning model based on the 2013 curriculum for two days includes: first day of theoretical training on learning model; The second day, the training to practice the learning model that will be developed. Further assistance in developing and practicing the model of learning in the classroom for four months. In the process of mentoring teachers guided from the process of making learning tools such as RPP, Media and LKS. The results showed that only 30% applied the models suggested in the curriculum 2013. Teachers' efforts in applying these models are demonstrated by the teacher's persistence from the process of making the lesson plan, it seems that the teachers who applied the models were enthusiastic in fixing model-based RPPs, looking at modules, designing the required media, and asking actively when something is poorly understood. Teachers are recommended to apply the 2013 curriculum learning models in order to have innovative classroom activities that can make the students active and enthusiastic.

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes learned through Guided Inquiry learning model based on critical questions is higher than Direct Instruction learning model. The study population was all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin which amounted to three classes adds up to 35 to 40 students. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The selected sample is XI MIA 2 as an experimental class given the treatment of the guided inquiry model based on critical questions and XI MIA 1 as a control class treated with DI model. The results showed student learning outcomes in the experimental class at 86% and in the control class at 75% while student learning activities in the experimental class at 84.6% and in the control class at 72.7%. Hypothesis test results show tcount> ttable (8.4289> 1.668), meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, that is the results of student chemistry learning using the GI model based on critical questions higher than learning with DI model.
