The aim of this study is to analyze students’ mathematical connection ability on the topic of Phytagoras theorem which reviewed on using CORE learning model at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (intact group comparison design) with 54 students as the sample and they were taken by using Cluster random sampling technique. Sample was divided into two groups, 27 students as control class (using lecture) and 27 students as experimental class (using CORE).  Based on descriptive analysis, it was found: (a) the average of students’ mathematical connection ability before using lecture learning model was 50.82 (fair category) and after using lecture learning model was 73.66 (enough category) and (b) the average of students’ mathematical connection ability before using CORE learning model was 50.72 (fair category) and after using CORE learning model was 85.25 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using N-Gain, the result showed g= 0.369 (low category) for control class and g=0.706 (high category) for experimental class. It ‘s concluded that using CORE more effective than lecture learning model on the topic of Phytagoras  theorem at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Padangsidimpuan.

The background of this research was based on students� lack of mathematical connection ability in learning. The aim of this research was to determine students� mathematical connection ability through Two-Stay Two-Stray learning model assisted by Geogebra application was better than that on cube and cuboid subject. The type of this research was Experimental and Design of Intact-Group Comparison Research. The sampling technique of this research used Cluster Random Sampling and students of grade VIII D, VIII E, VIII F in SMP Negeri 3 Slawi were chosen as the samples. The technique of collecting data used interview, documentation, and test. The result of this research showed that students� mathematical connection ability through Two-Stay Two-Stray learning model assisted by Geogebra application was better than that without Geogebra application proven by the t-test.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias dengan teknik arsir ditinjau dari komposisi, Proporsi dan gelap terang karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karya siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dengan jumlah 144 karya dan sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII-A yang berjumlah 29 karya dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis karya menggambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara rata-rata mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan total 25 Karya, sedangkan mendapatkan kategori Baik total 2 karya. Dan 2 karya siswa pada kategori Kurang. Pada hasil rekapitulasi nilai karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias indikator Komposisi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,9. Indikator Proporsi mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan nilai rata-rata 78,6. Dan indikator Gelap-terang mendapatkan kategori Cukup dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 79,9. Dengan demikian kelemahan hasil karya siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara terletak pada indikator Proporsi, dan  dari 29 karya siswa yang menonjol  adalah indikator Gelap Terang. Selanjutnya nilai terttinggi pada karya siswa dengan mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86 pada karya nomor 23. Sedangkan nilai terendah pada karya siswa dengan hasil nilai rata-rata 74 pada karya nomor 28.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil karya gambar ilustrasi hombo batu Nias SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara dikatakan cukup baik, karena terdapat kelemahan penerapan indikator proporsi, namun nilai lebih pada indikator Komposisi dan Gelap Terang.Kata Kunci: hombo batu nias.AbstractThis study aims to analyze the work of drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo with shading techniques in terms of composition, proportion and darkness of the work of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungstitoli Utara. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara with a total of 144 works and the study sample was class VIII-A, amounting to 29 works using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The results showed that the analysis of works drawing illustrations of Nias stone hombo class VIII-A students at SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara on average received the category of Enough with a total of 25 works, while getting the Good category a total of 2 works. And 2 students' work in the Less category. In the recapitulation of the value of the Nias stone hombo illustration illustration, the Composition indicator gets the Fair category with an average value of 78.9. Proportion Indicators get the Fair category with an average value of 78.6. And the Dark-light indicator gets the Fair category with an average score of 79.9. Thus the weaknesses of the work of VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara are in the Proportion indicator, and of the 29 outstanding student works are Dark Light indicators. Furthermore, the highest value in the work of students by getting an average value of 86 in the work number 23. While the lowest value in the work of students with an average value of 74 in the work number 28. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that the results of the Nias hombo illustration illustration works SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Utara is said to be quite good, because there are weaknesses in the application of the proportion indicator, but more value in the composition of the Dark and Composition indicator. Pada survey pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan di kelas, siswa memiliki pengetahuan kognitif dibawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yang telah ditetapkan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas VIIIA SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan  Pendekatan Saintifik . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas  VIIIA SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 32 peserta didik dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Data yang diperlukan diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan tes menggunakan soal-soal tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis deskriptif setelah penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan scientific approach ditunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Data hasil penelitian pada aktivitas belajar peserta didik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari pra penelitian yaitu  43,75% meningkat menjadi 78,13%, sedangkan pada hasil belajar peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan dari  66,25 %  menjadi 78,13 %., sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbasis pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA di Kelas VIIIA  SMP Negeri 24  Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 In the preliminary survey that has been done in class, students have cognitive knowledge under the Minimum Completion Criteria set by the school. This study aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of science students of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung through the application of the Discovery Learning model with the Scientific Approach. This research used quasi experiment research method. The research subjects in this study were students of class VIIIA SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2017/2018 with a total of 32 students with a cluster random sampling technique. The required data is obtained through observation, documentation and tests using test questions. The collected data was analyzed by qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the descriptive analysis after the application of discovery learning models with the scientific approach showed an increase in activity and learning outcomes of students. Data from research results on student learning activities showed an increase from pre-study, namely 43.75%, increased to 78.13%, while the learning outcomes of students showed an increase from 66.25% to 78.13%, so that it was concluded that Discovery Learning model based on scientific approach can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students in science learning in Class VIIIA Public Middle School 24 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2017/2018

Abstract: Lack of practical activities in schools can result in a decrease in the creativity of students. worksheets based on the discovery learning model in them trigger students to think creatively and critically. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The purpose of this study is to look at the improvement of skills competencies which are assisted by student worksheets based on the discovery learning model. The data analysis technique is testing hypotheses where there is a difference which means the use of this student worksheet. Hypothesis testing conditions are to carry out normality tests for skill scores from both sample classes and homogeneity tests to see the distribution of values from two sample classes that have homogeneous data. after treatment is obtained, the average value of the skills of the experimental class is 78.62 and for the control class is 70.10.Abstrak: Kurangnya kegiatan praktikum di sekolah dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kreativitas siswa. lembar kerja berbasis model discovery learning di dalamnya memicu siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan yang dibantu oleh lembar kerja siswa berdasarkan pada model pembelajaran penemuan. Teknik analisis data menguji hipotesis di mana ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan lembar kerja siswa ini. syarat pengujian hipotesis adalah untuk melakukan tes normalitas untuk skor keterampilan dari kedua kelas sampel dan tes homogenitas untuk melihat distribusi nilai dari dua kelas sampel yang memiliki data homogen. setelah perawatan diperoleh, nilai rata-rata keterampilan dari kelas eksperimen adalah 78,62 dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 70,10.

Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Salafiyah Darul Falah Mataram yang berjumlah 153 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII B dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan desain pre-eksperimen (One Group Pretest Postest Design). Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan teknik cluster  random sampling . Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t test Sampel Related. Hasil perhitungan uji-t tes Sampel Related  didapatkan  sebesar dan sebesar dengan taraf signifikan . Karena , maka menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa.Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Teachers Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model for students' math problem solving skills. The population in this study is the students of grade VIII SMP Salafiyah Darul Falah Mataram, amounting to 153 students. The sample in this research is class VIII B with the number of 28 students. The type of research used is quantitative research, with pre-experiment design (One Group Pretest Postest Design). The sampling technique is using cluster random sampling technique. Technique of data analysis using test-t test Sampel Related. The result of t-test calculation of Sample Related test obtained t_hitung equal to 19,01 and t_table equal to 2,052 with significant level 5%. Because t_hitung≥t_tabel, then show that Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model effective to student's math problem solving ability.

<p>The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of learning models to student achievement. Learning models compared between NHT-CTL, NHT and direct instruction. Method of research used quasi experimental with the factorial design of 3x1. Population of this research was all students class VIII in SMP Negeri at Madiun City. The sampling technique using a stratified cluster random sampling. Samples in this research were 266 students with 91 students as experimental class I, 88 students as experimental class II and 87 students as control class. Data collection methods used documentation and test.Hypothesis testing was performed using one-way analysis of variance with unequal cells. Based on the results of hypothesis testwere concluded that NHT-CTL learning model gave better achievement than NHT learning model and direct instruction, while NHT learning model and direct instruction gave the same achievement. </p>

This research objective to find out the impact of motivation and compensation through teachers performance Vocational High School in Bangil district. Collecting data technique used questionnaire and distributed to respondent. Sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Sample for every school are 3 teachers from each major. Totally sample 42 respondents from 5 schools. Validity test used pearson product moment. Analisis technique to answer the research questions are inferential statistic multiple linier regression. Research results showed motivation and compensation have an impact through teachers performance Vocational High School in Bangil District.

Research aimed to find the effect of Conceptual Understanding Procedures learning model on the mastery of physics concepts observed from the scientific attitude of 10th-grade students. Type of research was quasi-experiment with 2x2 factorial design. Population was 10th grade students of MIA in SMAN 1 Gunungsari academic year 2017/2018, and the sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The data of the students’ mastery of concepts were collected by giving essays and the scientific attitude was measured by using questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by applying 2-way ANOVA, assisted by SPSS 16 with (α) significance level of 5%. The results show that significant value for the effect of learning model consider from scientific attitude in amount 0,01 which its was smaller from (α), and significant value for interaction between Conceptual Understanding Procedures learning model with scientific attitude in amount 0,18 which its value is bigger from (α). According to data, can be conclude: there was an effect of Conceptual Understanding Procedures learning model to the mastery of physics concept in terms of scientific attitude from 10th grade student’; and there was no interaction between Conceptual Understanding Procedures learning model to scientific attitude to the mastery of physics concept from 10th grade student’.

The objective of this study is to discover the effect of Personal Vocabulary Note (PVN) on the students vocabulary achievement. This form of research is a pre-experimental study. The research population on this research was the eighth-grade students that consisted of 43 students of SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Timur. By using cluster random sampling, the sample was VIII B class, consisted of 21 students. The data on this study was gathered through a written test in form of multiple choice. The data showed that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, means that Personal Vocabulary Note (PVN) affect significantly in teaching vocabulary for the eighth-grade students in SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Timur. The result of t-test was 12.61. It was higher than t-critical(12.61 > 2.086). Finding also showed that the score of the effect size of the treatment was 2.73 and categorized as strong effect. It can be concluded that Personal Vocabulary Note (PVN) give a strong effect on vocabulary achievement of the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Timur in Academic Year 2019/2020.

This study aims to determine whether the Round Table cooperative learning model influences the mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year on the subject of Lines and Series. The research method used was quasi-experimental. The target population of this study were all students of SMAN 101 Jakarta and the affordable population in this study were students of XI MIPA. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills as many as four description questions. the instrument has gone through content validation tests, construct validation and empirical validation. After the instrument is valid, reliability is tested where the correlation coefficient obtained is 0.5602. After testing the normality, homogeneity and similarity of averages and cluster random sampling. XI MIPA 2 was chosen as the control class and XI MIPA 4 as the experimental class. Based on the calculation of the research data of the two classes, each of them is normally distributed and has the same or homogeneous variance. Therefore, hypothesis testing is done by using t-test statistics with a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of the test, the value of tcount = 2.43499 and t table = 1.6682 is obtained, so that it gets tcount> ttable. So reject H0. This shows that there is the influence of Round Table cooperative learning model on mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta.
