The purpose of this article is to find out the role of instagram as an Indonesian education media through as online system for millenial generations. The method used in writing this article is descriptive approach to content analysis and data collection techniques. The milleniall generation cannot be separated from social media, especially instagram. Now instagram a part of the millenial generation’s life. The rapid development of instagram turned out to have an impact on Indonesian language both constructively and destructively. This is were the role education based account makes instagram to marginalize the destructive impact of language and develop as an online learning media for Indonesian language for the millennial generation. Instagram can be used as a medium in processing and disseminating information about language development related to the use of now’s technology. The process of updating words in Indonesian before social media especially instagram runs in a slow process. Along with the growing popularity of instagram social networks, there are many new trems in KBBI. Given that language is “manasuka”, then its development will adjust the development of the times. We may not realize that the words of the millenial generation slang apparently helped the development of the Indonesian language. Through the process, the slang words that are popular in the community will change into the standard term in KBBI. Positive impact with the presence of instagram, info about language developments can spread rapidly along with the many millennial generations who use intagram.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to examine whether social media may impact a customer’s purchasing decision during the pre-purchase stage of service consumption. Design/methodology/approach – This study implemented a primary field survey design and developed an online self-administered questionnaire. A total of 285 usable questionnaires were collected. Factor analysis was performed to condense the large set of independent variables, and multiple regression analysis was performed to test the study hypotheses. Findings – The results indicate that the benefits of social media do have a positive relation with customers purchase decision, but not all items are crucial to a similar extent. Functional (convenience, efficiency, information, sharing experiences) and monetary (free coupons, price discounts, special deals) benefits from social media were found to have a positive impact on customers’ purchase decision (H1, H2), while socio-psychological benefits were found to have no relationship with customers’ decision (H4). Still, hedonic benefits (amusement, enjoyment, entertainment, fun) were found to have a relationship with purchase decision (H3). Originality/value – While social media received much attention in research due to its rapid development and its popularity, there are still limited studies that investigated the effect of social media during the pre-purchasing stage. Findings of this study are expected to contribute to the growing body of hospitality research on social media. Additionally, this research is expected to assist hospitality businesses to understand customers’ behavior regards to social media and develop appropriate marketing strategies.

ABSTRAK Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi media sosial membuat kepopuleran mudah didapat. Evie Effendi merupakan salah satu da’i populer di media sosial Youtube dilihat dari banyaknya jamaah, kalangan muda khususnya. Ia da’i nyentrik dan mempunyai ciri khas dalam dakwahnya yaitu mengenakan pakaian modis kaum muda serta selalu menambahkan humor dalam ceramahnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui, menganalisis dan mengkontruksi proses penyusunan retorika dalam dakwah Evie Effendi di video Youtube.  Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa teori seperti, teori retorika yang diungkapkan oleh Aristoteles tentang seni untuk mempengaruhi orang lain (the art of persusasion) menggunakan prinsip ethos, pathos dan logos.  Teori retorika Jalaludin Rakhmat tentang imbauan persuasi dalam berpidato. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini  adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan sampling. Data-data dianalisis dan dideskripsikan sesuai dengan teori-teori terkait. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa  retorika yang diterapkan oleh Evie Effendi meliputi ethos, pathos, dan logos, serta lima imbauan persuasi. Gaya bahasa yang digunakan Evie Effendi dalam dakwahnya meliputi, ta’lim dan tarbiyah (pengajaran dan pendidikan), tazkir dan tanbih (pengingat dan penyegaran kembali), targhib dan tabsyir (penggemaran amal sholeh dan penampilan berita pahala), tarhib dan inzar (menakut-nakuti dan menyampaikan berita siksa), qashash dan riwayat (penampilan kisah atau cerita masa lalu), serta amar dan nahi (perintah dan larangan). Kemudian,  humor yang digunakan adalah humor exaggeration, parodi, burlesque, dan belokan mendadak. Kata kunci : Retorika; Evie Effendi; Dakwah; Youtube ABSTRACT The rapid development of social media technology has made it easy to get popularity. Evie Effendi is one of the popular da'i on Youtube social media seen from the many worshipers, especially young people. He was quirky and had a characteristic in his preaching which was wearing fashionable clothes for young people and always adding humor in his lectures. The purpose of this study is to find out, analyze and construct the process of preparing rhetoric in the preaching of Evie Effendi on Youtube videos. This study uses several theories such as the rhetorical theory expressed by Aristotle about art to influence others (the art of persuasion) using the principles of ethos, pathos, and logos. The rhetorical theory of Jalaluddin Rakhmat about the appeal of persuasion in speeches. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data obtained through observation, documentation, and sampling. The data are analyzed and described in accordance with related theories. The results of the study prove that the rhetoric applied by Evie Effendi includes ethos, pathos, and logos, and five persuasion calls. The language style used by Evie Effendi in her preaching included, ta'lim and tarbiyah (teaching and education), tazkir and tanbih (reminders and refreshes), targhib and tabsyir (good charity and news reward appearance), tarhib and inzar (scare and news torture display), qashash and history (Appearance of stories or stories of the past), and amar and nahi (orders and prohibitions). The effects and usefulness of active and passive static stretching have raised heated debates. Over the years, the pendulum has swung from a glorified vision to their vilification. As most of the times, the truth often lies somewhere in-between. But even if there was no controversy surrounding the effects of static and passive stretching (which there is), and even if their effects were homogeneously positive (which they are not), that would not be sufficient to make stretching mandatory for practicing physical exercise, for most populations. Amidst the many discussions, an important issue has remained underexplored: the prerequisites to answer the question “Can I?” are not sufficient to answer the question “Do I have to?”, especially when alternative interventions are available. In this current opinion paper, we address four potential applications of stretching: (i) warm-up; (ii) cool-down; (iii) range of motion; and (iv) injury risk. We argue that while stretching can be used in the warm-up and cool-down phases of the training, its inclusion is not mandatory, and its effectiveness is still questionable. Stretching can be used to improve range of motion, but alternative and effective interventions are available. The role of stretching in injury risk is also controversial, and the literature often misinterprets association with causation and assumes that stretching is the only intervention to improve flexibility and range of motion. Overall, the answer to the question “Can I stretch?” is “yes”. But the answer to the question “Do I have to?” is “no, not really”.

Bahasa Indonesia dalam berbagai keperluan merupakan bahasa resmi negara Indonesia dan telah digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi lisan maupun tulis, baik formal maupun informal. Selain fungsi komunikasi, bahasa Indonesia juga berfungsi sebagai alat pemersatu bangsa Indonesia. Dewasa ini bahasa Indonesia dihadapkan pada perkembangan dunia yang begitu pesat, termasuk perkembangan teknologi informasi dan kebudayaan yang begitu mengkhawatirkan. Dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan kebudayaan tersebut menuntut bangsa Indonesia untuk bekerja keras, dan secara aktif mempersiapkan diri mengejar ketinggalan yang ada dari berbagai aspek kehidupan, dan termasuk mengantisipasi perkembangan informasi dan budaya yang mengglobal. Salah satu dampak dari globalisasi ini adalah penggunaan Bahasa Inggris yang dianggap lebih berkelas dan memiliki nilai kebanggaan tersendiri oleh kaum milenial. Salah satu dampak positifnya yaitu akan memudahkan bagi para milenial untuk berkomunikasi secara internasional. Di sisi lain, dampak negative daripadanya yaitu loyalitas pembelajar terhadap bahasa Indonesia menjadi berkukurang, bahkan akan menjadi luntur. Bagaimana kiat bangsa Indonesia untuk mengejar ketinggalan dari bangsa lain dan bagaimana kiatnya agar bangsa Indonesia tetap mencintai bangsanya dan termasuk bahasanya, tentunya harus adanya kerja keras dan kepedulian dari seluruh komponen bangsa Indonesia.Abstract: Indonesian language in many purposes as the official language of Indonesian has been used as an oral and written communicate, both formal and informal. Besides being a communication tool, Indonesian language also serves as a unifying tool for Indonesian. In this era, Indonesian language is faced with a very rapid development of the world, including the development of information technology and culture that are so worrying. With the rapid development of information technology and culture, it demands the Indonesian people to work hard and actively prepare to catch up with the existing aspects of life, including anticipating information development and a globalized culture. One of the positive impact is easier for international communication. Meanwhile, the negative impact is predicted to be the learner's loyalty towards Indonesian language to be reduced and will even fade. How do Indonesian people try to catch up with other nations and how do they try to keep the Indonesian people in love with their nation and including their language, of course, there must be hard work and care for all components of the Indonesian nation.

This study aims to explain the role of Social Media "Facebook" and its impacts ahead of the elections of regional heads in 2017 in Aceh Jaya district. Data required in this study was obtained through literature and field research. The research literature is done by reading textbooks, legislation, and other reading materials related to this research. While the field research conducted by interviewing informants. The results showed that social media "Facebook" very effective way of delivering a variety of things including the introduction of a track record as well as the vision and mission of the future leaders of Aceh Jaya fore. Campaigns that use social networking "Facebook" more influential than campaigns that are only focused on the delivery of any information or content (in the sense of simply using billboard and his card only). In the use of social media "Facebook" there are various impacts. There are two impacts: the effect of positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of the using social media "Facebook" in the election of Aceh Jaya, namely (1) the establishment of kinship fellow Team (timses) of each candidate, (2) can foster public participation in politics (3) provides information on the dynamics of the election in Aceh Jaya (4) to introduce the candidates (5) to introduce the vision and mission of the candidates. Using a survey of 300 employees in different types of enterprises and different positions, this study verified that the use of enterprise social media has a positive effect on employees’ work exuberance. The study separately examined the effects of social media applications for work tasks and social tasks. Both types of applications had a positive impact on employees’ work exuberance. The study also identified the mediating role of challenge and obstructive stressors in this relationship. Work-related social media applications enhanced employees’ exuberance by reducing obstructive stressors, and social-related social media applications enhanced employees’ exuberance by reducing challenge stressors. The implications of these findings are that managers should pay attention to the use of enterprise social media, especially for social tasks, as this can enhance employees’ sense of exuberance.

This paper discusses the role of the kiai's leadership in pesantren education in an effort to strengthen the Industrial Revolution 4.0 industry. Pesantren is an ideal education system that attempts to provide education to the community to develop the existing potential, because pesantren santri in pesantren are not only given religious knowledge, santri are also taught to live independently, have character and innovate through pesantren activities. The pesantren is one of the institutions of Islamic education that will produce a generation of Indonesians into 'ulama', Muslim scholars and generations who have national character and morality. In the current era of information technology development, learning approaches have experienced rapid development that can change people's mindsets. The availability of information technology that is connected to the internet makes it easy for everyone to access science. So that pesantren must also be able to actualize these developments by developing pesantren curricula that are in accordance with the needs of the times. Then what is the role of pesantren in facing the development of globalization, what strategies are suitable in dealing with generations of the millennial era.

Purpose The concept of agility has been applied to several domains to help firms develop the capability to quickly adjust their operations to cope and thrive in environments characterized by frequent changes. Despite the soaring number of social media users and the benefits associated with agility in other domains, the application of agility in a social media context has yet to be explored. Further, little is known about how agility in a social media context impacts desirable customer-related attributes, such as customer engagement and customer-based brand equity (CBBE). This paper aims to address this gap by adapting the construct to social media (i.e. perceived social media agility) and exploring its impact on customer engagement and CBBE. Design/methodology/approach This paper conducted an online survey with 200 adult subjects. This paper used multivariate regression analyzes to empirically test a scale for perceived social media agility and explore its impact on CBBE and customer engagement, along with the moderating role of customer change-seeking behavior. Findings The study results show that perceived social media agility directly and indirectly (through customer engagement) positively influences CBBE. Also, results show that the positive impact of perceived social media agility on CBBE is further magnified for customers high on change-seeking. However, customer change-seeking does not affect the strength or direction of the impact of perceived social media agility on customer engagement. Originality/value This paper contributes to social media literature by adapting and testing a measurement scale for the construct of perceived social media agility and exploring its role in enhancing customer engagement and CBBE.

  Objectives of the study: • Know the causes of crimes at the time of disasters and crises. • Identify the role that crisis and disaster management should play in confronting crimes. • Know the implications of committing crimes during disasters and crises. • Identify the stages of preparing preparedness plans in different areas where disasters and crises occur and how to increase the effectiveness of these plans to combat crimes. The study used the descriptive approach to suit its nature and achieve its objectives. The tool was represented in a questionnaire that was applied to a random sample of (100) individuals. Results: That crises and disasters represent a very fertile environment for the commission of crimes of various kinds and forms, especially in the event of security personnel to save the lives of citizens and residents and the provision of vital facilities, so must activate the role of civil society institutions in addition to the private sector in securing the property and life of citizens. Recommendations: • Prepare the scenario corresponding to the reality of previous crimes and develop a number of solutions to deal with. • Training security personnel on how to manage the crisis and how to control the course of the crisis or disaster. • The work of awareness seminars on the seriousness of the times of crises and disasters and it is necessary to control the stages of the crisis.
