This article aims to reveal philosophy level from axiology (use) of literature in the society of Minangkabau’s superstition viewed from cultural manifestation. This research is a content analysis researh using descriptive qualitative method. The research was done in 10 places in Luhak Kubuang Tigo Baleh Minangkabau namely Salayo, Cupak, Gantuang Ciri, Guguak, Koto Anau, Muara Paneh, Kota Solok, Talang, Panyangkalan, dan Kinari.The data in this research is the statements of superstition in KubuangTigoBaleh society which is obtained from observation and indepth interview withpenghulu, cerdik pandai, and alim ulama. In analyzing the data, the research usedMiles danHubeman’s modelsthrough three steps (1) data reduction, (2) data display and (3) conclusion. Based on the findings it can be concluded that There are four patterns of superstition, namely negative, positive, prediction and witchcraft pattern. Moreover, in the process of pattern meaning the lofty ethic values are framed and considered as local wisdom of the Minangkabau society, especially in KubuangTigoBaleh which is appropriate, well-mannered, educated and existence acknowledged as a belief.

<p>This study was aimed at describing the types, the function, and the meaning of the compound words used in Stephenie Meyer’s <em>Twilight</em>. A qualitative method with the content analysis was applied in this study. The object of this study was compound words. For the data collection, it was used the techniques such as data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study was validated by using triangulation. The findings showed that there are 253 compound words. Based on the type of compound words, there are 5 compound words categorized as open form, 65 compound words categorized as hyphenated form, and 183 compound words categorized as closed form. Based on the function of compound words, there are 173 compound nouns, 13 compound verbs, and 67 compound adjectives. Referring to the meaning of compound words found from the contextual meaning, there are 140 words of the exocentric compound and 113 words of the endocentric compound.</p>

Sound-imitating words, called onomatopoeia, presents in most of languages in the world including Acehnese language, one of traditional languages in Indonesia, in which a great deal of onomatopoeias exist in it due to its unique constructions of onomatopoeia. This research aims at finding out kinds of Acehnese onomatopoeias understood and spoken among native Acehnese people by using Pidie dialect. Thus, five people in the Pidie Jaya regency were sorted out to be the subject informants by actualizing purposive and snowball technique. Moreover, a descriptive qualitative method was manifested in the research by actualizing some instruments to get the data such as structured interviewing and documentation. Hence, all of the data were interpreted in words by listing, transcribing their phonetics orderly, as well as describing both their function and meaning. A three-step analysis – data reduction, data verification, and data display-- was employed to describe the data gathered.  Result of the research reveals that Acehnese Onomatopoeias covers a wide range of expressions in sound-imitating words which are categorized into three big classes; Phonomimes which includes auditory impressions of various imitative sounds of nature; Phenomimes -- mimetic words to describe objects’ condition and human’s activities; and Psychomimes – symbolizing psychological state or inner feelings. Still, most of Acehnese onomatopeic words are in forms of repetition and nasalization which seems to be more unique compared to other languages.

This study aimed to reveal affixes' form and meaning in Tombulu language tenses, especially on past, present, and future tenses. Descriptive qualitative method used with applying Arikunto's procedure of collecting data which were interview and documentation. While, in analyzing data used Miles & Huberman which consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This study showed that there were different functions of Affixes in the tenses of Tombulu language and English. The simple past tense was Infix -im- and -in-, which were placed after vocal or consonant phonemes. Simple present tense with Prefix mah- which was located to the beginning of the word. Simple future tense with Infix -um-, which was placed after vocal or consonant phonemes.

The research intends to analyze the sorts of dialog and non-observerance observed in the film Mulan, using Grice's theory (2020). This study was carried out using the descriptive qualitative approach. The sort of research is content analysis. As data, the film script for Mulan (2020) was used. In addition, according to Grice's theory, two types of conversational implications exist: a widespread dialog implicitness and a specific dialogic impact and there are 5 sorts of non-compliance maximums: the flushing of a maximum, the infringement of a maximum and the suspension of a maximum. When the researchers collected and analyzed data, they used the data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion of Miles, Huberman and Saldana idea. In addition, several table and diagram utilized by researchers to accurately describe and measure the data. The results of this study demonstrate that Mulan (2020) movie has 29 utterances that indicate the implications for dialogue. These include 17 widespread dialog involvement (59%) and 12 specialized involvement. Included in the total (41 percent ). In the film from Mulan (2020) it was found that a maximum of 17 data or 58 percent is flouting characters, which is higher than maximum violations, save for maximum manner violations of 9 data or 32 percent. However, the speech of characters in Mulan (2020) film does not contain the other maximum non observance like suspending a maximum and infringing a maximum.

This research was conducted at PDAM Tirta Daroy Banda Aceh, with the aim to answer the question of how the payroll accounting system applied in PDAM Tirta Daroy Banda Aceh.This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained from interviews and documentation studies, then analyzed interactively and lasted continuously until complete so that the data has been saturated. Activity in data analysis is data reduction, data presentation, treanggulation and conclusion / verification.The results show PDAM Tirta Daroy Banda Aceh has implemented a neat and well-payroll accounting system in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Payroll accounting system in PDAM Tirta Daroy Banda Aceh is used to overcome errors and irregularities in the calculation and payment of salary. Payroll accounting systems are designed by companies to provide a clear picture of employee salaries so that they are easy to understand and easy to use.

Abstract: The current study entitled “A Morphological Analysis of Slang Words Used by Characters In Ralph Breaks the Internet Movie” aimed to investigate the morphological processes of constructing slang words and its meaning of the  found slang words used by the movie characters. This research used a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis design. The findings revealed that there are 42 slang words categorized into different morphological processes included compound (14,28%), clipping (11,90%), blending (14,28%), affixations (16,66%), reduplicative (7,14%), backformation (2,4%), abbreviation (2,4%), conversion (4,76%), alternation (14,28%), extension (4,76%) and word manufacture (7,14%). This study demonstrated the meaning changes of the slang words that have been affected through certain morphological processes by modifying their word category. Consequently, some slang terms have preserved the original meaning despite the changes in their spelling. In the meantime, certain slang words get abbreviated or shortened and retained their original meaning. Meanwhile, some slang words change their meaning by deriving their word category. Besides, there were certain slang words that change their meaning depending on word usage.Key words: morphology, Ralph Breaks the Internet, slangAbstrak. Penelitian yang berjudul “Analisis Morfologi Kata-kata Slang yang Digunakan oleh karakter dalam Film ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’” bertujuan untuk menelaah proses morfologi dalam membangun kata-kata slang dan maknanya yang digunakan dalam film tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain analisis isi. Data temuan menunjukkan  42 kata slang yang dikategorikan ke dalam proses morfologi yang berbeda, yaitu ‘compound’ (14,28%), ‘clipping’ (11,90%), ‘blending’ (14,28%). , ‘affixations’ (16,66%), ‘reduplicative’ (7,14%), ‘backformation’ (2,4%), ‘abbreviation’ (2,4%), ‘conversion’ (4,76%), ‘alternation’ (14,28%), ‘extension’ (4,76%) dan ‘word manufacture’ (7,14%). Studi ini mendemonstrasikan perubahan makna dari kata-kata slang yang telah dipengaruhi proses morfologi tertentu dengan memodifikasi kategori kata asal. Hasilnya beberapa istilah dalam kata slang tetap mempertahankan makna aslinya meskipun ejaannya berubah. Sementara itu, kata-kata slang tertentu disingkat dan tetap mempertahankan arti aslinya. Beberapa kata slang lainnya berubah makna dengan mengubah kategori katanya. The research aims to describe and to analyze the forms of code-mixing used by Boy William on Vlog #Dibalikpintu. This study was a descriptive qualitative method and human research is the main instrument of this study. In collecting the data, this study utilized observation and documentation methods. This study employed content analysis which focused on analyzing the forms of code-mixing which were defined by Suwito (1983). The result of this study: In the word form, there are 19 data found, (15 nouns, 2 verbs, 1 adjective, 1 question word). In the phrase form, there are 19 data found, (17 noun phrases, 2 adjective phrases). In the baster form, there are 5 data found, (1 noun as a form of gerund suffixation, 3 noun suffixation, 1 verb suffixation). In the word reduplication form, there are 2 data found, (1 noun, 1 compound noun). In the idiom form, there are 2 data found, (1 formal idiom, 1 informal idiom). In the clause form, there are 25 data found, (8 noun clauses, 14 verb clauses, 3 adjective clauses).

Abstract The objective of this research is to acquire deep understanding of the "Kasrah Hamzah Inna"  on Alquran Alkareem Albaqarah and Alqashas Epistles,  which consist of 149 verses. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative  method using content analysis of the verses of quran.  The result showed that there are 97 % the "Kasrah" was compulsory, and 3% was uncompulsory. The most verses appear with "Inna" is in the beginning of the kalimah, and after the verb "Qaul" . The 97% of  kasratu inna is a compulsory ,its  divided into five: 1. At the beginning of the sentence amounted to 80 (54%) (and it is divided into 5; a.hakikat it was 13 (16%), b,hokum it was  3 (4%), c.ibtidaiyah it was  12 (15%), d. isti'nafiyyah it was 12 (15%), e. ta'liliyyah  40 (50%)). 2. After the Conjunction it was 1 (1%). 3. After the answer of  oath sentence  it was  1 (1%). 4. After the words amounted to 31 (21%). After the sentence torch circumstances it was  5 (4%). Meanwhile, the position of non compulsory kasratu Hamzah inna was founden  after faa aljazaa,  only 5 times (3%). The results show  that many types of kasrah hamzah inna was founded in  albaqarah and alqashas.

This study aims to analyze the use of upselling techniques among waiters and waitresses at the Ticket’s Café in Hotel Horison Ultima Makassar. This analysis includes the answer to whether or not they use upselling techniques, how they use it, and what the result is. The data in this research are collected during observation and interview. This research studies the waiters and waitresses along with their superiors. The data are then analyzed with descriptive qualitative method which includes data reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is that the waiter and waitresses have been proven to use some upselling techniques; however the implementation is not as effective as expected because the number of waiters and waitresses is not enough to deliver the best impacts of the techniques and not all of them use the right upselling techniques.

<p>The purpose of the study is to know and depict the revitalization and socialization of Daeng dance in purbalingga, Indonesia. This study used a qualitative method. The relevant techniques of data collection to the method are observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained are analyzedusing three ways; they are data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. The results showed that revitalizing Daeng dance occurred in its earliest performances, by means of innovating the foregoing Daeng dance without leaving its characteristics. The revitalization was done toward the dance’s motion, accompaniment, makeup, wardrobe, stage, sounds, lighting, and floor patterns, as well as there is a change in its function; as the media of spreading Islam in the past to nowadays just being an entertainment. After the process of revitalization, Daeng dance is then socialized through two ways of deployment; they are formal and informal processes. This dance’s socialization in this study occurs through direct performance and mass media. </p>
