Title: The Development of Religion and Moral Values Through Exemplary Method Abstract: The formations of attitudes and instilling of values are influenced by various factors, especially the environment, namely the family, school and community environments. It means that although the teachers try to give a good example at school, it will not run well when it is not supported by the environment both the family and the community, so the instilling of values and formation of attitudes will be difficult to implement. Therefore, the formation of attitudes requires the efforts of all parties, such as environment, school, community and family. Family is the smallest unit in human life as a social creature. From the beginning each individual experiences life, grows and develops in the family; that is why every family is believed to be the first and foremost unit which directs the growth and development of children and places the foundations of personal primacy for life safety in the world and in the hereafter. Education in the family is broad enough to cover the overall personality development both the dimensions of activities and the dimensions of values taught to children. All becomes the parents’ responsibility to care for, nurture, guide and educate children so that they grow and develop as they should. To develop children, parents must provide halal foods which are good for their physical health. In addition, children must be guided and accustomed to being obedient, virtuous, and disciplined as the obedient servants to the God.

This article makes a brief presentation of the family situation in the Western Society. The family crisis and several other family structure models are delt here from a sociological perspective, e. e., as a true framework for an education in terms of family. The family role is defended as a framework of protection in favour of the newborn. Therefore children can find an environment with «suitable conditions» that are of vital importance for learning of values that bear: morality, protection and assurance, dialogue and responsibility hence making the appropiation of values possible based on experience. No other focal points are contemplated that are cognitive in the family education except for the need to make the family environment a privileged and irreplaceable experience for the learning of moral values.

This article seeks to explain how the implementation of moral education is presented at elementary level schools in the midst of community conditions that have changed from an agricultural community to an industrialized society. This study aims to understand how the cognition, affection, and psychomotor aspects of students in the implementation of religious moral values are presented in schools. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques taken were observation, interviews with students from elementary level schools in Cidenok Village, Sumberjaya District, Majalengka Regency. This study found that the moral values of religion presented in schools are still transfer of knowledge and religion in the cognitive aspects, only a small part is in the affective and psychomotor aspects. Second, the socio-economic conditions of the family are part of the background for moral value education which is not optimally absorbed into the affective and psychomotor aspects. Third, the condition of the social environment has a big role in shaping student orientation, where the moral values of religion do not become the control lines for students in carrying out social interactions in society. This study concludes that the implementation of religious moral values in education in schools has a clash with family awareness in supporting education, learning models that are still limited to transfer of knowledge, and the social environment of society.

Abstract Introduction: The development of a child takes place according to certain laws, each one of which has its own individual dynamics, so, every child becomes a unique human being. Children gradually collect information about themselves and the world around them. They receive feedback about themselves from people who take care of them - mainly their family, mother and father. Their positive responses support the child’s feeling of being loved, worthy of interest, which has a positive effect on them. Purpose: Family environment is likely to have the strongest impact on the child’s behaviour. Educational procedures, family climate, relationships between parents, those between parents and the child, the degree and methods of satisfying the child’s needs, moral values, and social ties of the family - they all affect the child’s behaviour. Methods: In the presented paper, traditional desk research methods were used. Conclusions: Behaviour is learned and has its purpose. Family teaches the child many things, e.g. how to cope with simple tasks, as well as about complex social inclusion.
